Dem registrar steps down
STATE CHAMPS
The North Haven Democratic Town Committee announced the retirement of Patricia Jackson-Marshall, the town’s Democratic Registrar of Voters. Jackson-Marshall served the citizens of North Haven since 2009.
The Max Sinoway-North Haven Indians claimed the 14U Babe Ruth baseball league state championship on July 16. The Indians compiled a record of 4-0 and defeated Trumbull in the title game, 12-7 in 9 innings. Having captured the state crown, the Indians earned the right to represent Connecticut at the New England Regional. The champs are: Jaden Wells, Philip Huntington, Bryce Montabana, Andrew Manzo, Jordan Oliveira, Ryan Semple, Jordan Higgins, John Slais, Nick Romano, Avery Karasinski, Jimmy Marshall and Jayden Nguyen. The team is coached by Angelo Romano, Mike Karasinski, Rob Manzo and James Manzo.

The Registrar of Voters performs all duties required by Connecticut General Statutes governing voter registration, while compiling and retaining accurate statistical information for federal, state and municipal agencies. Jackson-Marshall also trained Election Day workers and volunteers, and led with integrity. No matter the public pressures she faced, JacksonMarshall took the time to ensure everyone’s vote was accurately tabulated.
