Talk of the Towns returns
MARCHING ON
The Coginchaug Valley Education Foundation is, once again, hosting Talk of the Towns, a quartet of lively 10minute talks. The free event will take place Saturday, April 2 at the Durham Firehouse. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., the event starts at 7. After almost a three-year hiatus, CVEF is excited to welcome back this popular series, and invites the community to come, listen, learn, visit and enjoy. Snacks and sweets will be served. There will be a cash bar.
The speakers For the first time since the start of the pandemic, Durham's Memorial Day Parade will return Monday, May 30. Veterans are strongly encouraged to participate. Immediately following the parade, a ceremony honoring our nation’s military will take place on the town green. Farmers Market is preparing for season No. 14 By Nicole Zappone Town Times

The Durham Farmers Market returns for its 14th season Thursday, April 7. The popular market is held on the town green Thursdays through the end of October.
It runs from 3 to 6:30 p.m. “What I like the most about the farmers market is that it brings our community together,” said Market Master Jon Scagnelli. See Farmers Market, A4
