Wallingford Jubilee Week postponement

Wallingford 350th Jubilee Committee March 21, 2020 William Dickinson Mayor Town of Wallingford 45 South Main Street Wallingford, Connecticut 06492 The Honorable Mayor Dickinson: Thank you for your teams’ leadership through these most difficult times. Due to the unprecedented health crisis of Covid 19, the Wallingford 350th Jubilee Steering Committee has voted unanimously to move the Jubilee Week to the week of September 26th throu gh October 4th at the March 20th meeting.

We feel these measures safeguard town employees, businesses, committee volunteers and residents, while preserving resources for safety, health and sustainability. Taking these proactive steps now provides a framew ork for future event planning when health and safety measures are lifted.

These recommendations remain conditional in so far as health and safety measures are lifted. The committee will reassess monthly and continue to keep your office and the public in formed through meetings, the Town Clerk’s office, print and medial channels, our website (Wallingford350.org) and social media channels.
