Dear Reader I hope you are well; and, feeling positive… and, finding opportunities to discover amazing things. Our country… the world… it is all so big big big. The size of anyone’s home-space, is just a teenytiny speck, compared to this gigantic universe. So, are you feeling-bored, by the same small space …every day? Perhaps you are using this time of the stay-at-home-order, to: “get-big,” and “stretch-out” …with your mind. Or, do you want a suggestion for this exercise: try to make yourself happy, using -only- your thoughts… & nothing else …only think it. What will you imagine? Who will you be? Where will you go? Who will you see? What feeling will grow…?... in your thoughts? A lasting happy-feeling …is the goal. These days… maybe you are happy …about, simply, bonding more with your family at home: planting a garden; playing board games; preparing meals together; and, such things. I, myself, am busy, every day: doing vegan advocacy; cooking… I love to cook vegan-food; walking with Piper; growing herbs and spices; and, going online to learn new things. Yes, I am expanding my “world,” right here at home. When I do go out …for groceries; or, when I’m walking with Piper …I wear my mask, …to protect me, you and everyone. I hope you are doing the same. There are many ways we can help this world. But, what are the best ways to help, right now? Protecting animals, protects the planet. You may hesitate to believe it; but, Earth is sick, right now, because: humans are abusing animals. Humans are eating their own family. Protect animals, by sharing the attitude, that, “Animals are everyone’s family; and, we don’t eat family.” --------------------------------If you have questions for me, my e-mail is: welcome22day@gmail.com

Let’s Eat! Chunky Monkey Overnight Oats •Prep Time: 5 minutes •Yield: 2 servings •Cook Time 5 minutes
Ingredients
1 ripe banana 1 cup / 100 g rolled oats 4 teaspoons chia seeds 2 small pinches salt 2 medjool dates 2 - 4 tablespoons chocolate chips 2 - 4 tablespoons chopped walnuts, or pecans 1½ cups vegan milk of choice 1 tablespoon maple syrup , optional
Instructions •
You need either 2 mason jars or 2 small bowls.
Mash the banana with a fork. Add ½ to each mason jar or small bowl. Then add ½ a cup of oats, 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, a small pinch of salt, 1 date broken up into little pieces, 1 to 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips and nuts, ¾ cup soy milk to each jar/bowl. Maple syrup is optional. If you add it the oats are really sweet. Stir them really well or put the lid on and give them a good shake. If using a bowl, cover with cling wrap. Transfer to the fridge and leave for at least 6 hours or up to 2 to 3 days. Eat straight from the fridge or warm gently if preferred. Note: 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder added with the other ingredients makes for a great double chocolate chunky monkey oatmeal!

Cats and humans have been associated for nearly 10000 years. Cats conserve energy by sleeping for an average of 13 to14 hours a day. Domestic cats love to play, this is especially true with kittens who love to chase toys and play fight. On average cats live for around 12 to 15 years. Cats spend a large amount of time licking their coats to keep them clean. The first year of a cat's life is equal to the first 15 years of a human life. Cats can rotate their ears 180 degrees. Meows are not innate cat language—they developed them to communicate with humans! Baby cats (kittens) can purr when they are only two days old. Cats can jump on average seven times it’s t height. When cats meet each other, they like to rub noses. A male cat is called a tom, a female cat is called a queen or molly. A group of cats, it is called a ‘clowder’. A group of kittens is called a kindle. Cats of all ages love to play and chase. Cats can run up to 30 miles per hour. Cats can make more than 100 different vocal sounds. Most cats are lactose intolerant and should not be given cow’s milk. Cats knead with their paws when they are happy. Mommy cats have a special noise to call their kittens, it is a chirr or chirrup, this noise is unique to each mommy cat and their kittens can tell the difference.

How You Can Get Started …In Activism Are you ready to be a Vegan-Activist? If you’re wondering, how you can get started, here are some suggestions:
1. Don't be intimidated - no matter where you are in your activism journey, buckle down and commit to learning as much as you can about the issues you're advocating for. 2. Find your "why" - Identify why you care about the issues, that's the foundation of your activism, after all. 3. Be respectful of the individuals you advocate for - form genuine relationships with the individuals you're serving. 4. Communicate openly with the people you work with - You also need to respect your co-activists. You can't do this work alone and you don't want to risk alienating people fighting for the same cause. Open communication, on the other hand, can help avoid misunderstandings. 5. Understand the tools at your disposal to help your activism - you can make phone calls, use social media, write articles, etc. 6. Know activism isn't one size fits all – you can sign petitions, boycott brands, speak up to your family and friends.
As always, I’m here to help any way I can. welcome22day@gmail.com
