COMPUTER SCIENCE We all use technology every day whether at school, work or at home. You can put that knowledge to good use by turning it into a future career. If you are interested in how computers work, want to learn how to write code or build a computer network that is secure from hackers, we have the course for you. Offering hands-on practical experience you’ll learn a range of skills including; how computer systems work, how to protect computers and data, how to program a computer, how to design and create your own spreadsheet and how to manage an IT project. Learning takes place in tutor-led practical and workrelated activities, workshops and demonstrations. Assessment is carried out through a combination of on-line tests, a portfolio of evidence and a programming project.
