WHAT WILL I DO?
Careers in video game production and creative media have never been as in demand. With digital technology and video game sales booming, your ideas can quickly be brought to life. Our Creative Media and Games course will teach you the technical skills to and give you the knowledge and inspiration to explore your own ideas using technologies such as Virtual Reality (Oculus Rift) and specialist digital software such as Unreal.
HOW AM I ASSESSED?
You will be assessed through a variety of coursework, practical and theory based assignments.
WHAT’S NEXT?
You will progress to our Level 3 Extended diploma in Games and Animation.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Level 2 Diploma in Creative Games and Media or four GCSEs Grade 9-4/A*-C including Maths and/or English or a merit in a relevant Level 2.
WHAT WILL I DO?
This practical course covers a range of exciting units covering games design, character design, computer game engines, 3D modelling, 3D animation and 3D environments amongst many more. The course will culminate in you working with a team to develop your own fully functional multi-level computer game. This course can be worth the equivalent of 3 A* at A level.

You will be assessed through a variety of coursework, practical and theory based assignments.
WHAT’S NEXT?
You can apply to progress onto a University degree that allows you to focus on your specialism.
