THE CHOIR NEEDS YOUR VOICE…AND YOU MAY NEED THE CHOIR.

You know what we do singing for Sunday services, Christmas Eve, Good Friday, the Harvest Home Concert—and you may have thought about how you would like to sing but just can’t commit to being there every week, or it’s been so long since you sang last that you’re out of practice. Still, if singing is in your blood, it can be like an itch you need to scratch. What you don’t know is that it’s easier than you think.

The choir includes people with a broad range of music-reading abilities, and we plan and rehearse music far enough in advance that you can miss a few rehearsals and still be prepared to sing We even provide online resources to help your learning process.

The choir includes people who live so far away that coming in during the week is rarely possible. Our rehearsals include the traditional Wednesday night 7:30-9:00, but we also have a full rehearsal on Sunday morning 9:00-10:30, so you can be well rehearsed with only one trip in during the week.

If you can’t sing regularly, we offer occasional singing opportunities for single events with simpler music and limited rehearsal.

People join choirs because of the music, but they stay because of the relationships they build. This is why you see choir members who have sung for decades: we are a family that sings together. If you would like to see what the Choir is like, come down to Hinely Hall (the Choir Room on the basement level) any Sunday from 9:00-10:30 and sing with us or just listen. We’d love to meet you.
