Redeemer Lutheran College began operating in 1980 on a site on Rochedale Road previously used as farmland. Standing on this site was a galvanised iron “shed” which had once been the home to Mr George Nott. Today, we are proud to have George’s daughter, Cheryl Nott as our next-door neighbour. Known as “Nott’s Cottage”, this building has been restored to appear as it might have originally and houses a modest local history display, which may be of interest to local schools, both primary and secondary.
