MAIN STAGE

The Main Stage is the knowledge centre of Bar Convent Berlin. Here is where lectures by international experts as well as panel discussions with key opinion formers and experts of the global bar and beverage scene will take place. All sessions are „dry“ and curated by the BCB Education Board. This year our guests can look forward to such illustrious names as Danil Nevsky, Iain Bell about “Health”, The Pinnacle Guide founders on “Judging Bars”, Max Venning with “Low-Cost Bar Techniques”, the Alquimico bar team on “#FromTheBarToTheFarm” and many others.

LIQUID STAGE A & B

The Liquid Stages feature exciting content on products, brands and trends. Visitors can expect samplings, cocktail demos, brand presentations and expert lectures. On Liquid Stage A in the Palais, BCB Education Partner WSET will also be presenting seminars on „How we taste“, while Liquid Stage B in Hall 17 will feature sessions on coffee and aperitivo.

TASTE FORUM

Comparative tastings with up to 6 different samples take place in the Taste Forum. Here, visitors can look forward to sessions on various liquids such as Irish Spirits, Gin or Calvados or take part in a gustatory journey through Guatemala. Tastings hosted by WSET will also feature the trendy topic of ‚Sparkling‘.

PARK STREET UNIVERSITY

In collaboration with BCB Education Partner Park Street, PSU is the first choice for entrepreneurs, brand owners and managers who want to learn about business-relevant topics. The carefully curated seminar programme offers brand owners the opportunity to benefit from a wealth of knowledge from experts in the field of alcoholic beverages and offers content for beginners to advanced learners.

DBU WORKSHOP

For the first time this year, the ‚Deutsche Barkeeper-Union’ partners with BCB and is presenting itself - not only with a stand but also with its own stage! At the DBU Workshop in hall 11.1, exciting lectures and workshops take place every day. Visitors can expect an interesting mix from No and Low x Natural Wine, Balance in Drinks, Bartender versus Bar Manager to the topic of internationalisation of German bars.
