Des événements grandioses C'est dans le cadre unique des arènes que se déroulent chaque été plusieurs festivals de grande qualité. Le Festival d'opéra attire en juillet plusieurs dizaines de milliers de spectateurs. Depuis sa création en 1995, les opéras les plus fameux, tels que Nabucco, la flûte enchantée, Carmen ou Aïda, ont fait vibrer un public accouru de toutes les régions du pays. En août, le festival Rock Oz'Arènes prend la relève, avec une programmation qui suscite un enthousiasme grandissant. Les plus grandes stars du moment s'y sont déjà produites, notamment Joe Cocker, Deep Purple, Manu Chao ou encore Patricia Kaas. La saison se termine au début de septembre avec Aventicum Musical Parade, show de fanfares militaires qui enchante petits et grands dans une même harmonie de couleurs et de sons.

Das Opernfestival zieht jeden Juli zehntausende von Besuchern an, die von der Qualität der Aufführungen begeistert sind. Seit seiner Gründung im Jahre 1995 haben berühmte Opern wie Nabucco, die Zauberflöte, Carmen oder Aïda ein Publikum aus allen Regionen des Landes in ihren Bann gezogen. Im August geht es weiter mit dem Festival Rock Oz'Arènes, welches Jahr für Jahr mit seiner Programmgestaltung riesige Begeisterung erntet. Grosse Stars wie Joe Cocker, Deep Purple, Manu Chao oder Patricia Kaas sind dort schon aufgetreten. Die Saison endet Anfangs September mit der Aventicum Musical Parade, einer Show der Militärfanfaren, welche Gross und Klein mit einer Harmonie aus Farben und Tönen verzaubert.

In July, the Avenches Opera Festival welcomes tens of thousands of opera lovers who are enchanted by the quality of its musical presentations. Since the Festival's creation in 1995, famous operas such as Nabucco, The Enchanted Flute, Carmen and Aida have been received with the highest acclaim from opera fans all over Switzerland. In August, the Arena Rock Oz' follows with a rock music program that is increasingly popular and enthusiastically received every year. Just a few of the great rock stars who have recently performed include Joe Cocker, Deep Purple, Manu Chao and Patricia Kaas.The musical season hits its high note in early September with the Aventicum Musical Parade show.
Le patrimoine historique Aventicum, ancienne capitale de l'Helvétie romaine, comptait il y a deux mille ans près de 20'000 habitants. C'est aujourd'hui l'un des plus importants sites archéologiques de Suisse. Aventicum, ehemalige Hauptstadt des römischen Helvetien, zählte vor zweitausend Jahren ungefähr 20'000 Einwohner. Heute ist es eine der wichtigsten archäologischen Stätten der Schweiz. Wir schlagen Ihnen vor, Ihre Besichtigung mit dem Amphitheater und dem römischen Museum zu beginnen, in welchem eine wertvolle Kollektion an gallorömischen Objekten bewundert werden kann, darunter die Kopie der Büste von Marc-Aurel. Ebenfalls zu entdecken sind die Thermen des Forums, der Tempelbezirk Le Cigognier (Storchensäule), das Theater, das Ost-Tor und der berühmte Tornallaz-Turm, der einzige noch erhaltene der 73 Türme der römischen Ringmauer. Nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich die mittelalterliche Altstadt, mit ihrem Schloss, der Kirche und dem Rathaus.
2000 years ago, Aventicum, was the former capital of Roman Helvetia and had a population of close to 20,000. Today, it is one of the most important archaeological sites of Switzerland. Begin your historical visit at the Amphitheater, walk through the area and feast your eyes on the wonderful Gallo-Roman antiques, including the copy of the Marcus Aurelius bust, which are all housed in Avenches' Roman Museum. Also worth discovering are the Forum Thermal Baths, the Stork Sanctuary, the Roman Theater, the eastern entry gate and the famous Tornallaz Tower; the only one of the 73 Roman towers still intact. The Avenches National Stud Farm's mission is to improve the conditions for horse breeding, raising and use in the rural environment. The National Stud Farm also offers professional advice, counseling and training to horse owners throughout Switzerland. The Stud Farm is opened year round to the public.
Le Vully : terre d'accueil Le Vully: une région de charme et de détente à découvrir, avec de superbes vues panoramiques sur les lacs de Neuchâtel et de Morat, le Jura et les Alpes. Morat : site historique Cette charmante cité moyenâgeuse a su garder au fil du temps son image originale avec ses arcades, son château et ses ruelles pittoresques. Le caractère historique est donné par les remparts flanqués de tours couronnés d'un chemin de ronde unique en Suisse que l'on peut arpenter librement. La vieille ville ainsi que les bords du lac invitent à la flânerie dans un décor merveilleusement conservé.

La Broye. Naturellement ! A découvrir… absolument… une région – La Broye – ornée de douces collines et de tendres vallons, de champs et de forêts et d'une rivière qui donne son nom à la région. Sentiers cheminant en sous-bois, roselières, réserves naturelles, mais aussi sites historiques et culturels, bref un petit coin de paradis. Nombreuses possibilitées de randonnées à vélo, à pied et à cheval.
