Whether it was your first introduction to live theatre as a child or something that’s since become an annual tradition to enjoy with all the family, panto is part and parcel of the Christmas experience for many. We are delighted after the cancellation of last year’s pantomime to be presenting this absolute ‘giant’ of a show - Jack and the Beanstalk. With a talented cast, brilliant scenery and costumes, amazing special effects and lots and lots of laughs, we’re sure this will be the winter family treat you’ve all been waiting for. We can’t wait to welcome all of our wonderful families back to watch what is sure to be our best panto yet!

YOUTH THEATRE Saturday mornings starting from 4 September ARTY enables young people between the ages of 8 and 16 to get involved in drama, providing a broad range of high quality theatre experiences in a positive and supportive environment. MITCHELL ARMSTRONG - SONGS FROM THE MUSICALS TUESDAY 5 OCTOBER, 2PM

Mitchell Armstrong is a first class cabaret act and has worked on major cruise lines, performed at numerous theatres and appeared at a tremendous variety of top hotels and holiday centres around the world. This month he performs a combination of swing, musicals classic and comedy for your enjoyment.

Matthew Quilliam’s virtuosic musicianship combined with his great sense of humour gets the audience singing, laughing, and dancing along whilst they watch in awe at his ukulele talent. Following a short break are vocalists Katie Bennett and Riley Clark who will entertain with a programme of enjoyable music. The afternoon will be masterfully compered by Alexandra Theatre favourite Vicki Edwards.

SUNDOWN UKULELE GROUP TUESDAY 7 DECEMBER, 2PM

The Sundown Ukulele Band formed in 2014 and have been performing non stop ever since. All their instruments are varying types of ukulele which blend together to make an enjoyable and unique sound. There will be a variety of Christmas songs that you know well and audience participation is encouraged! Wear your favourite Christmas jumper and join in the fun with a merry Christmas sing-along.

THURS 7 OCTOBER 7.30PM Marc Bolan, with his band T.Rex, was one of the most flamboyant and charismatic stars of the original glam rock era. With Bolan’s special ingredient of Rocka-Boogie songs, the band had a string of huge hits throughout the 1970s including ‘Love to Boogie’, ‘Telegram Sam’, ‘Jeepster’ and ‘20th Century Boy’. T.Rextasy have now been performing around the world for over 20 years, a career that ironically out lives Marc’s very own T.Rex. The band is now accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band dedicated to Marc Bolan & T.Rex, and the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan’s family, estate, original exmembers of T.Rex, and Bolan’s catalogue management. The band has been described by many as ‘beyond the boundaries of tribute’. Truly a rock’n’roll concert for all ages - If you would like to know exactly what a Marc Bolan concert was like in the 1970s, this show is for you!

Mark Fitz-Gerald once again conducts the 60 Minute Orchestra presented by Roger Clayden.The French Horn soloist is Joel Ashford, a former principle of the National Youth Orchestra and Royal College of Music and has performed solo concertos with the Welsh Chamber Orchestra. Told by means of letters and poetry and with an original score written by Stephen Hackshaw for this production, Not About Heroes paints a vivid picture of the war. TICKETS £12.50 / £10.50 UNDER 16S The Rosemary Bell Academy of Dance presents a selection of classical ballet and musical theatre performances by pupils 3+. The Rosemary Bell Academy of Dance is an established ballet school in central Chichester which was established in 2010. Dancers of all ages are offered the opportunity to take Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations, attend guest teacher workshops, participate in large scale professional theatre shows and are given the opportunity to compete in dance competitions. Their pupils range from 18 months with our ‘Mummy and Me’ classes, pre-school, graded syllabus, vocational syllabus and adult classes in ballet and Pilates. The Rosemary Bell Academy of Dance is currently in the process of renovating St. Bartholomew’s Church which will become a bespoke dance studio and community venue available for hire. This will be their new home for our established academy and will be renamed the Chichester City Arts Centre.

Parking: There are four parking spaces for blue badge holders at the front of the Centre and additional blue badge bays in the public car park next to the Centre. Hearing Impaired: There is a hearing loop in our auditorium. Assistance Dogs: We welcome assistance dogs in all areas of our building. Please talk to our Box Office staff about any special requirements when booking. Auditorium: Row J has permanent wheelchair spaces. Wheelchairs spaces can be booked in person or over the phone at our Box Office. Row J is also suitable for patrons with walking difficulties. Due to our licensing regulations, we are unable to permit the transfer from wheelchairs to theatre seats.
