Recent team history

2014

The 2014 Raiders traveled to Cary, North Carolina to take part in the prestigious USA Baseball invitation over spring break. The team shocked national powers Parkview, GA and Mountain Pointe, AZ, before losing to eventual champion The First Academy, FL. The 2014 team swept the Continental League, finishing 11-0 After losing the first game of the final 8 to Rocky Mountain 2-1, the team won 3 consecutive games to advance to the State Championship game, before once again falling to Rocky Moutain in a one-run game, 6-5.

2015

The 2015 Raiders closed out the regular season with three consecutive wins to qualify for the playoffs. The team then swept Prairie View and Grand Junction in the district playoffs, erupting for 22 runs. The team won its initial final 8 game, beating Pine Creek in a thrilling 3-2 extra inning game .

2016

The 2016 Season began with high expectations as Regis Jesuit entered the season ranked number one by most pre-season polls. The team did not disappoint early on, winning their opener at Arapahoe and then defeating perennial power Cherry Creek 13-6. The team then traveled to Florida to play in the prestigious IMG tournament, going 3-1. Regis then rolled through the Continental conference, going 9-1 and winning the league title. The Raiders entered the post season as the number 2 seed overall. After defeating Palmer High School 5-2 in the opening game of districts, the team suffered a disappointing loss to Cherry Creek, ending their season. The team did see several members honored for their performance. Quin Cotton and Travis Marr were named Co-Continental Player of the Year and Bo Weiss was named Continental Pitcher of the Year. Matt Darr was also named the Continental Coach of the Year. All three players also received All State honors.

2017

The 2017 baseball season at Regis Jesuit was very successful overall, despite coming to a disappointing end. The Raiders opened the season with two hard fought defeats at the hands of Ralston Valley and Cherry Creek. The team then headed to Anaheim, California to play in the Anaheim Lions Tournament. Regis promptly rattled off four consecutive wins, going undefeated in the highly competitive tournament. Upon returning home, the team knocked off Cherokee Trail and Smoky Hill before beginning their league schedule. In the very talented Continental League, the Raiders went 7-3, sharing the league title with Legend. The team completed its season with a win over Pine Creek, finishing the regular season at 14-5. Regis was the 7th seed overall in the State Tournament, earning a host site for districts. The team knocked off Loveland in the first game, before falling to Broomfield in the district championship, finishing their season at 15-6. Three players, Caleb Sloan, Michael Baer, and Jimmy Holinger, represented the team as all league selections. Caleb Sloan was also named to the All State team.

2018

The 2018 Regis Jesuit Baseball season had several near misses and will be remembered for many great battles and all of the close losses. The Raiders started the season off with an impressive 7-0 win over Ralston Valley, lead by senior pitcher Matthew Boyd. In the next game, the Raiders followed up with a hard fought, back and forth loss to Cherry Creek 15-13. The Regis Jesuit Varsity team then headed to Orange County California for the Annual Lions Baseball Tournament where the team went 1-4, losing some close games. The team returned home and continued to play in many tight games, ending the regular season with two hard fought loses to undefeated Mountain Vista and highly ranked Pine Creek. Regis Jesuit drew Pine Creek again in the playoffs, falling 6-4 and ending the season with a 8-12 record. All Conference players included pitcher Matthew Boyd, catcher Brodie Marino, outfielder Geno Macias, outfielder Sam Doubet, and infielder Mac Padilla.
