halco Hills Baptist Church—If I ask, What’s being planted in Nebraska? you might immediately think “corn.” According to the Nebraska Corn Board, the state is the third-largest producer of corn in the United States. But let’s get real; there are other things being planted in this great state. One of them is a Regular Baptist church. new work. A launch team made up of members from Gretna Baptist Church (Gretna, Nebraska) and students from Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa) have been canvassing the area with invitations, as well as helping to set up for each Sunday service. START-UP funds granted to the church from Baptist Builders Club are assisting this new work in its beginning stage. Pastor Barfnecht and the team have already held four monthly services and will start weekly meetings in March. Please join me in praying for this new work. Pastor Barfnecht shared these three prayer requests:

√ Continued unity √ Increase in visitors (and their salvation!) √ A solid core group to remain as launch team members complete their time

At that time each call was for only $2.00, and seemed within the range of what a student could afford. A firm believer in establishing self-supporting churches, it has thrilled my heart to be a participant in this worthy en-
