JUNE 2024

MEMBER NEWSLETTER

Dear Members,

And just like that, it’s June. This is the month for summer breezes, bumblebees dancing among the flowers, butterflies gently floating on by to say hello, and feeling the warm sunshine on our shoulders I know it has rained quite a bit (ok, A LOT) the last couple months- but as Luke Bryan famously sings, “Rain is a good thing!” and the Gardens are solid proof of that. Our plants, flowers, and landscapes have never looked better. June is the perfect time to visit and see everything in its prime

Thank you to everyone who attended the Playhouse Exhibit Preview! It was a wonderful evening and I loved getting to see everyone’s lovely, smiling faces again The whimsical playhouses throughout the Gardens truly are a trip back to simpler times when every day was playday. I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

I want to hear from you Which playhouse was your favorite, and why? What did you love most about the member event? Please feel free to send feedback to my email: allisona@iastate.edu. To our members who haven’t had a chance to see the playhouses yet, come visit us soon! These are one of a kind, custombuilt playhouses that you are sure to enjoy.

Thank you for reading this month’s member e-newsletter. We are delighted you are a member and feel immense gratitude for your support Your membership makes a significant impact as it directly funds our programs and initiatives. Members are the lifeblood of Reiman Gardens!
