Many thanks for joining us at the Waldhotel Heiligenhaus for the Sustainable Travel Finland Live event for sustainable travel pioneers

We value sustainable travel, and therefore we invited 23 sustainably ­certified companies from Finland to meet sustainable travel trailblazers from Germany and the Netherlands The goal for the event is to network, share knowledge, learn from each other, find new partners and travel products, yet also, to have fun and relax with traditional Finnish sauna, reindeer yoga, hiking in the nature and making authentic karelian pies You will get to experience a little taste of Finland here at Heiligenhaus, and we hope that you are just as excited as we are excited to have you here with us We are very happy to have you join us here, we hope you can learn something new, enjoy the activities and connect with interesting partners We wish you a fantastic event

15:00 Welcome words by Visit Finland and berry juice toast at the main building After a short introduction, the participants are shared to groups It’s the time to experience something exciting! You will get to enjoy your chosen activities hosted by our Finnish experts

15:30 Time for the first activity, based on your selection you will start in one of the following activity groups

• Learn to bake Karelian pies with the authentic recipe from Karelia and learn more about Karelian culture and cultural travel

• Learn more about Unesco’s intangible living cultural heritage with guided sauna ceremony, featuring a face scrub and face cream with organic Finnish products

• Welcome to our Lapland lounge to relax and to try out reindeer yoga

• Go on a hike with an experienced outdoor guide and learn about inclusive travel

16:30 Exchange of groups, time to the second activity, meeting point will be instructed based on your chosen activity

17:30 Free time, time to relax and reflect after the activities and get ready for the dinner

18:00 Stories by the campfire: Join us at the terasse, next to the dinner room to hear several, short inspiring

stories about Finland and about our sustainable companies and regions
