Prophetess Misha Wesley 6

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

I was raised as a Muslim majority of my childhood, there was not much for a young girl to be in that religion, so aspiring to do anything with my life, beside raising children was highly unlikely. I have always loved writing, but I have never imagined it as a career choice until after my father died when I was just 11 years old. Before he died, he converted to Christianity, but still grieved with sadness and a heavy heart, I took to writing more and more. Writing has always been my outlet of how I escaped my current impoverished living conditions. Even though my father converted to Christianity, I didn’t fully give my life to Christ until later in my late teens. It was then, the lord led me through deliverance from religious bondage and the trauma I encountered as a child, which opened the door to the enemy. My greatest passion that Jesus deposited in me, is to teach the body of Christ the true kingdom mission and the true word of God, train/equip them to know how we, as believers in Christ, can walk in authority as Kingdom citizens, and release the power of God to reach eventually every non believer and believer on a global scale! The kingdom of God is forever growing and It is my mandate to see the kingdom ADVANCE! So in this place I write to you, my brethren, telling my story of hope, love, and how I overcame by the blood of Jesus Christ! Prophetess Mia Mason is a woman who has never had things easy in life, and has the passion to save the lives of others regardless of their past. Her heart goes out to the young adults who have had to deal with witnessing alcohol, drug addiction, depression, domestic violence, prison, and divorce in their families. She is happily married to Steven, and loves to watch how God is guiding their teenagers in life. Mia has founded Fresh Start Ministries in order to be the source that will guide and support the new generation of young adults. Mia is in hope of counseling them, as well as leading them to God in order for them to get a fresh start in life. http://www.freshstartministries.net/about-us/ Shirley Ann Cooper is Senior Pastor at Regeneration Church Street Ministry, an online family of believers leading the lost to Christ. Using her online page for outreach to a dying world, she ministers to those who are turned away from the church, or are feeling rejected by believers who are based on religious form, rather than scriptural truth. She finds herself bringing that same love to the streets of Florida, bringing tactics that will introduce Jesus to those who do not know His name or His unconditional love. Umbrella ushers, Free hugs, The penny fund, Human auctions, are but a few ideas that her Ministry has used to bring light to a dark world. Pastor Shirley has worked on many projects with local Pastors and ministers dealing with street ministry. She has been married for 31 years, and has six children, which include two son in-laws. She is a grandmother as well, with two baby grandsons, and another grand baby on the way, all of which are involved in ministry and Believers of Jesus Christ. The Natural Alternative By Mia Mason

Everywhere you look these days, people seem to be turning to different products in hopes of healthier and longer hair. Some women have relaxers, while others choose to keep their hair natural. My grandmother kept a perm in my hair growing up, and my hair never grew past my shoulders. After having children, I noticed a big change in my hair. It started shedding and breaking off. I began getting my hair cut so short that I couldn’t even curl it with a curling iron. After a year of keeping my hair cut off, I finally decided to let it grow back out. I

began to get my hair braided to keep my hands out of it. But as usual, my hair never grew past my shoulders. I got up one morning to comb my hair before work, and all of my hair in the middle of my head came out in the comb. At the age of 23 that is a woman’s worst nightmare. Instead of going to work that morning, I went to my son’s barber and had him shave all of my hair off into a low fade. My father had a fit, but I loved it! It was less for me to do in the morning. Since I didn’t know what to do with natural hair, I would go to the barber every 2 weeks with my son and get shaped up. It was then that

I noticed how dry and brittle my hair was when it grew out. I then began to ask my natural friends what the best products were to use on natural hair. I began to purchase to suggested products and noticed that they didn’t the same thing for my hair. So, I went to YouTube to find out things that could work. I was shocked to find out that I could use simple things that were in the cabinet in the kitchen to moisturize my hair. It’s been 13 years since I first did the big chop on my hair. I have gone between loose natural hair and dreadlocks during that time. Water has become my hair’s best friend. I only use natural oils in my hair and I mix up my own hair products. Store brought hair products don’t work well in my hair and cause my hair to break off. My favorite oils to use are olive oil and coconut oil. I use castor oil for thinning edges. Due to YouTube, I learned all about essential oils and use many of those for their benefits. I’ve noticed how much cheaper using natural products is, and love how much room I have on my dresser due to that. Here are some of my natural recipes: No Itch Scalp Spritz

¾ c. distilled water ¼ tsp. rosemary essential oil ½ tsp tea tree oil 1 tbsp. coconut oil, melted Put into an 8-oz. spray bottle. Shake before each use. Daily Growth Spritz (Moisturizing) 2 oz. jojoba oil 1 oz. tea tree oil 1 oz. vitamin E oil 20dropsspearmintessentialoil 10dropsrosemaryessentialoil 15 drops sweet orange essential oil Pouroilsinto8-oz.spraybottle. Add distilled water to fill it up. Shake before each use. Setting Lotion/Leave-In Conditioner 6 oz. aloe vera gel (juice for conditioner) 2 oz. jojoba oil 5 drops essential oil of choice Pour ingredients into an 8-oz. shampoo bottle. Shake to mix them together. Black Soap Shampoo Crumbled black soap Distilled water 1 tbsp. olive oil 2 tbsp. vegetable glycerin 2 tsp. coconut oil, melted 2 tsp. jojoba oil 2 tsp. tea tree oil 1 tsp. vitamin E oil 1 tsp. peppermint essential oil 1 tsp. rosemary essential oil

To figure out how much water to use, put distilled water into bottle that you will be using. I use a 16-oz. applicator bottle (purchase at a beauty supply store). Pour the water into a container with lid and crumble the black soap into it (more soap, thicker the shampoo). Put the lid on container ad let sit until soap is dissolved (1-2 days, heating the water first will speed the process). Place oils into bottle and add mixture leaving enough room to shake mixture. Shake well before each use. Hair Butter 1 oz. cocoa butter 3 oz. shea butter

2 oz. tea tree oil 2 oz. castor oil 2 oz. jojoba oil 1 oz. olive oil 1 oz. vitamin E oil 3 oz. honey 5 drops rosemary essential oil 10-15 drops lavender essential oil Combine everything but the essential oils over a double boiler and melt for 15 minutes. Let cool on counter for 20 mins (Add the essential oils after 15 minutes). Stir with spatula. Let sit in freezer for 5 minutes. Starting at lowest speed, whip with hand held mixer for 25 minutes. After each 5 minutes, go up to the next speed. Put into a container with lid.

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR: REMEMBERING DAVID CORBETT By Shirley Cooper

When we seek the Lord in people, we often feel as if we have somehow failed. Not because the Lord cannot be found in them, but rather because they don’t always carry Christ in them well. Even when they do profess His name. For many years I have encountered many lives. Some young, some old, some in between. Some I have immediately connected well with, while others, welp, let’s just say that they put a lemony effect on my thoughts about them. I say that with a little humor hoping to share deeper without sharing my emotions too much. Make sense? It has taken me a long time to try and understand how people work, especially on the mission field. At times questioning the Jesus they say that they carry. With that being said, I would love to share with you an incredible heart that loved beyond measure. Through a temporary place, my family and I discovered a gentle giant, a chef, a singer, and an amazing God’s boy. This boy was very special. Not only did he carry a heart of gold, he was

gold. His name was, David Corbett. For many years David not only walked this earth, he made it a mission through a love that so many find hard to dispense. He succeeded in bravery amongst his fellow peers. Through his journey he managed to stand tall in every situation. There is no doubt that this boy was used for God’s purpose. David went home to be with Jesus on December 28,2016, not even making it into the new year. However, he made it into paradise, and that holds no comparison. David’s dream of being a chef was not in vain. He cooked many dishes, enjoyed the spotlight and the cheers of those who love him still. I didn’t get to know David like those who were surrounded by him on a daily basis. In fact, I didn’t get that chance at all. However, I did get to know the person that God allowed me to see. The soul that was able to grip my heart so deep that saying goodbye was more difficult than I could have ever imagined. I can’t help but to lay back and just imagine. Imagine a boy who had visions and dreams just like any other little boy in the

world. For many months I tried hard to encourage myself and my family giving many reasons as to why the Lord would take us from a place we called home only to bring us into the middle of nowhere. Why would God just have us leave my children, and my grand children behind, three hours away? It’s been almost three years and although so much has happened, I may have just found out why God moves His children to places they just cannot seem to grasp. The year is 2017 now and I somehow cannot seem to let go of 2016 that easily. My family and I have left the city life behind, while attending to some very strange differences in a tiny town called, Live Oak, and if you sneeze you might just miss it. Far away from the loud noises and the trendy fashion fire, life in cowtown was a little hard to blend into, but somehow, we made it home, for a little while that is. We found meat markets, great southern cooked meals, no traffic, and plenty of wild animals right in our back

yard. Soon, we found a local church that my family actually enjoyed. We tried to help as much as possible during our time at the church until God said otherwise. We managed to meet lots of faces, some friendly, and some not so friendly, some welcoming, while some were not at all. We tried to work closely with the youth more than anything as our family was always drawn to the youth for some reason, and It was there that we met David Corbett. First, meeting his family in Sunday service, then finally, for a short time

meeting the beautiful shell that held that big spirit full of life, always sporting that baseball cap. That was how I saw David every wednesday night. It was on these nights that youth would meet and where I met David’s beautiful sister Lydia Corbett as well. It was where I met quite a few wonderful kids, and adults, but yet, meeting David became the highlight of that entire youth group. Have you ever met a person that made your “A list” so quickly? I literally can count on one hand all the times David

and I spoke and yet he held a small piece of my heart so tightly. Watching David as he mingled with friends and family was kind of amazing. He was different and yet I couldn’t put my finger on why. But, before I blinked twice I would soon find out exactly why this young soul brought a refreshing breath of fresh air into my life. I had felt a sudden urge to remove myself from this local church as our family was feeling distant. We didn’t feel the family connection as we did with the church

we previously attended in the city. But somehow, each family member felt a connection with a boy we would have to say goodbye to way too soon. As a people, we all have to one day hear news that will not suit our tummies, I just wasn’t ready for this one at all. Not my tummy, and definitely not my heart. “Mommy David Died!” That was the phone call I received while laying in a hospital bed. Not in all my life did I ever think that my daughter meant, the David that I knew for such a short time. After all, he was only a baby. Not yet a man. Just a tall, gentle, boy who planted more seeds than any Chef Salad can hold. A boy who desired more than anything to cater to those he loved and almost anyone who would take a chance at anything he’d offer to cook. The saddest part of this entire thing wasn’t the fact that David left this earth too soon, but the truth that his life made a difference to so many during and after his journey on this earth. David was a comforter, a listener, a person who knew how to love others loudly, yet so soft was his heart. I recall his precious voice echoing through my Facebook messenger with just a whisper, “how are you miss Shirley?” I remember waiting for his daily messages to me as if I were

waiting on a call from the President himself. What made this boy so special to me? Why were his messages so important that I would share them quickly with my children? “Hey guess who wrote me today?” I remember saying to my daughter with a huge smile on my face. Other children wrote me, spoke to me, and even called me. Why were Davids responses such a big deal? Today, my heart still pounds a little harder when I think of this unbelievable life that slipped through my hands almost silently. Like trying to clutch onto clear spring water as it falls from the rocky walls of paradise in a distant dream. Seems almost surreal. But it wasn’t a surreal mix of fact and fantasy. It was reality. A place I dreaded so much to be in. I had to come to my senses. My emotions ran wild and out of control. It was then that I knew that this friendship was nothing remotely close to ordinary. This friendship was something God built way before I ever entered this community. He had planned our hearts to connect in a way that others may not understand. Maybe even in a way I hadn’t understood as I rummaged through my own thoughts about this entire ordeal. Why did David have to go so soon? What was his purpose in my life?

God always finds a way to move us to places we never thought possible or better yet, convenient, when He finds a purpose or reason to connect people. This I have found to be true entering this new year. Would God move someone bridges away, or oceans away to create an entire way of thinking? He sure would. When we think of the story of Moses we can rest assured that crossing the Jordan wasn’t exactly a desired move, so much as it was a call of salvation for people who needed God’s saving grace. So yeah God would move us oceans away to help build a better us for sure. I believe that meeting certain people is like crossing the ocean, or almost like hiking brand new mountains. Meeting David [was] a breath of fresh air. But it [was] destined as well. No one in this small town knew what our family was dealing with or hurt by. But David did. Somehow he managed to get to the core of our hearts, without speaking one word of instruction. He simply loved enough to whisper a few words of acknowledgement, “hello miss Shirley miss seeing you all.” Seven small words that to others may have not made any difference at all. But for my family it was like crossing the oceans, or a brand new hike on a

mountain top. A breeze that could literally filter out, confusion, anger, worry, and any other negative component that just doesn’t belong. In one week

brand new hike, only to discover that He can and will move us hundreds of miles up steep mountains for one small breath of fresh air to inhale forever.

I managed to discover things about David that I thought would normally take months, or may be even years of getting to know someone. What he thought about school, the boy who didn’t take to him well, his small, hidden but almost obvious crush, and his outrageous, eager desire to introduce Jesus to anyone he encountered. He was on a mission like that of a spy. Trying to get to know his surroundings without any fear in his veins. This small town knew David Corbett because he was born in their midst, because he played a huge part in their lives, and because this is where God chose for him to be.

I may never understand why God allowed David’s life to end so quickly. But I can almost guarantee that his mission in my life was accomplished. To watch his Father Phil and his step mother Joanie, or his mother, Sabrina cry and share their emotions on a life that was, made my stomache ache in agonizing void. To throw my arms around his sister, Lydia made me tremble. And just knowing that one day his other siblings will grow without him just breaks my heart. What about the cousins who cry still, the aunts who’s memories of him are large, or uncles who have yet to have had their play date with him? What about friends who made other plans? To remember a life that use to be here is tough, but it’s tougher when that life made a difference.

But my family knew the spirit before the boy, the kind hearted, soft and gentle giant that never allowed me to feel unappreciated, a child who didn’t just speak about Jesus, he lived carrying a cross. He was a chef, a student, a gentle wave in a raging ocean. For some people who only glanced at the opportunity to meet this amazing soul, God in all my unwillingness to enjoy this move to an unfamiliar place, thrusted my family and I onto a

It makes it harder to let go when you absolutely know that there just wasn’t enough time. David’s wallet was filled with scriptures that he believed in. His walk on this earth was no accident, and goodbye is not set in stone. There is a hope that David walked towards. A hope

we all are trying so hard to comprehend. A hope that he professed with his own lips. A hope that will eventually bring a continued meeting in a Paradise that cannot be identified yet or even imagined while we cross the ocean, or travel the mountains. There were winding roads, and dry land that carried us to the place where we connected with a boy from a small town, who offered a little piece of Heaven. While we lay in the comfort of the place we stand, maybe it’s wise to look around and truly grasp the reality that you are placed here for a reason. Meeting David was no mistake. It was a blessing. He taught me the one thing no one has ever been able to. Breathe. Breathe in life. Enjoy every part of your travel here. Walk as if there is no tomorrow. Dance whether you’re on hardwood floors or in the mud, sing as if the world isn’t listening. Skip, run, play, cook, clean, work, just live. Love others like David did. And for just a moment be someone’s breath of fresh air. David Corbett, I may never understand why you were so treasured and deeply loved by this family. But for now, I will just inhale every piece of memory that you whispered deep into my soul.

Prophet Bryant Norman Interview By Brittany Lowery Prophet Bryant Norman was born in August of 1978 he is the eldest son of Pastor Dorothea NormanAdams and Marvin Wayne Russell. He thanks God for his wife Prophetess Tiana Norman and their children Bryant Jr., Tyahn, Briondra, Bry’Ln and Trystan. Prophet Norman accepted God’s calling to ministry in July 2005 under the anointed leadership of Pastor Sedrick Hamner of Greater Faith Church in College Park, Ga. Prophet Norman is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He moved to Los Angeles, California in August 2012. Prophet Norman received his license to preach the Gospel on November 4, 2012 under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Melvin H. King of Devine Deliverance Ministries in Los Angeles, Ca. Since conception in his mother’s womb, Bryant was ordained by God to be a Prophet unto to the nations. Under the leadership of Bishop Roger Thomas of Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ in Victorville, Ca. Prophet Norman has been affirmed in the Office of a Prophet.

Prophecy is truly a gift from God because we were not put on this earth for ourselves but for others. Therefore, God has equipped and predestinated Prophet Norman to be surrounded and impacted by life changing men and women of God. So, being an heir in the ministry, he is a true witness of God through his life testimonies where he has gained wisdom, to encourage, exhort, and comfort other saints with knowledge and wisdom, which will convict and convert believers, and non believers of their faults and unrighteousness. God has chosen Prophet Bryant Norman because he is a living witness of God’s power to root out, pull down, destroy, build, and to plant as he prophesies God’s truth with purpose and substance. Prophet Bryant Norman was being molded by God to minister to men while incarcerated, where God used him to save the souls of men with broken spirits. These men were healed through Prophet Norman’s testimony and hunger for God’s word, with

expectation of the truth. Prophet Norman acknowledges the need for ministry in prison in order to assist the salvaging of lost souls behind bars. God has also anointed Prophet Norman in performing arts, where he also ministers to others through entertainment. As a professional actor/producer, his natural God given gifts are very evident through his predestined assignment in building the kingdom of God through dramatic arts to impact God’s People. Prophet Norman understands the mission of ministry that God has instilled in him, and that ministry is a daily walk, and that he can do nothing without God. Matthew 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Interviewer: How did you come to know Jesus for yourself? And how did you know that you were called to be a prophet? Prophet Bryant: I was raised in church and my mother was very God-fearing. My mother and grandmother (on my father’s side) constantly kept me in

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

23

church. I began to learn more about Christ as I grew up, and how to keep my faith in God. I realized through experiences that I went through as far as being shot, going to prison three times, being in and out of jail over 40 times, and going through neck surgery. I knew there was something higher than me that had control of me, and was protecting me through those storms and trials. I wasn’t going through those things for my own benefit but for others. That’s when God really visited me and I knew Jesus for myself especially when I was in prison. I had a visitation from God, and He spoke to me and told me that He had called me to be a prophet from my mother’s womb. He kept me for a time such as this for me to build up, tear down, uproot, and build the kingdom of God through my testimony. I thought all of the things that I went through and the situations would take me out. I had a destiny. He told me through a vision that this was all for my good. Interviewer: What was your experience like while incarcerated? Prophet Bryant: It was very disappointing because I was constantly in and out of jail. Jail and prison was like a revolving door for me. I kept realizing “Why am I here?

Why am I going through this?” but God was allowing me to minister to the people and men that were behind the bars. They needed to see someone who was real and authentic, who would be able to preach the word of God from a transparent point of view. They needed to see someone that was genuine about to gospel and the word of God. Interviewer: What should [someone] consider when ministering to those in prison? Prophet Bryant: They should consider that those men in prison are broken first of all. Most people that are going to prison (that’ve never been), they haven’t really been broken like those men are. Their families (wives and kids) are being taken from them. When they come out, they have nothing to look forward to. I know people that have been in prison for over 25 years and they don’t want to come out because that’s all they know. When they come out they want to go back in because they’re fearful of how the economy has changed, and what they’ve dealt with while in there. People have to realize that those men are in a broken state of mind. You have to minister to them from a point of view of knowing that they’re broken. They’ll be defensive

but you don’t realize what they’re going through because you’re on the outside. Some get out and commit crimes to go back in because they feel like they were taken care of. That’s what they were used to. They have to be trained in the word of God. They have to know that there are people who’ve got out and stayed out. They have to know “If I get out, I know through the word that God has more for me. Jeremiah 29:11 says I know the thoughts and the plans that I have for you, they’re good and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” People need to be more transparent and understand that they’re broken. Interviewer: How do you balance leadership and your personal life? Prophet Bryant: You know, I learned from being in prison. I had time for God to minister to me while I was incarcerated. When I did get out, I realized how much I valued family. It’s God first, family, then ministry. Your home is your first ministry. Tiana and I have five kids and we’ve come in with blended families. I’ve been married three times and this is my third marriage. God allowed me to go through certain situations through my prime marriages to learn how to separate the two.

At first, I was more into what Bryant wanted to do. I allowed myself to come in with an unequally yoked mindset because I was selfish. I cared for my family but I didn’t choose to put and reverence my family the way God had given them to me. You have to be equally yoked and balanced to be effective. A man who can’t rule his own house can’t be ruler in the church. If you can minister to your family, you can minister to everyone else. People that are closest to you are the hardest to minister to. They see who you really are behind closed doors. Your character has to match up with your reputation. God builds your character up through your family. I love my family the way I do is because without them, I wouldn’t be effective in ministry if I didn’t have them. Interviewer: What’s prophetic protocol? Prophet Bryant: First and foremost, you have to have a prayer life. You can’t be slothful in your prayer life. Before you minister to God’s people, you have to minister to God. You can’t speak to His people without speaking to Him first. You’ll be speaking out of your flesh if you do. He says that He will reveal His secrets to His servants. You have to

minister to Him first. Talk to Him before you talk to anybody.

put you with the right spiritual mothers, fathers, and mentors.

Secondly, you have to constantly be in your word. God reveals His word to His prophets through His word. Heaven and earth shall pass away but His word shall always abide. So, if you’re ministering to God, and you’re in your Word, He gives revelation and understanding on how to minister to His people through His word. Thirdly, you have to have a lifestyle of fasting to put your flesh into subjection. Your flesh will always rise up.

In developing the gift, you can’t be with someone whose season has passed. Be in tune with the will of God. You stir up the gift by being around other people that are prophetic. When you’re familiar with your surroundings and you’re comfortable, you’re not going to grow. When we get out of our comfort zone, that’s when we evolve and bubble.

Whatever you feed, that’s what you’ll become. Whatever you plant, that’s what you’re going to produce. Lastly, you have to stay sanctified. You can’t watch certain things or be in certain environments. You have to have a foundation where you have other prophetic company with you (to hold you accountable for what you release, speak, and your lifestyle). Interviewer: How can someone grow in their prophetic gift? Prophet Bryant: Operate in the gift. You have to flow in the gift and feed it. You have to study, get under the right mentorship, and have divine connections. Through prayer, God will align you with the right people. He’ll

Interviewer: How did Prophet Bryant get to his destiny? Prophet Bryant: I haven’t. You don’t get to destiny until you get to heaven. Heaven is my destiny and I haven’t arrived yet. We’re in this world but not of this world. This isn’t my home, I’m just a passerby. This isn’t destiny for me. When my spirit is no longer in this body, that’s when I’ve arrived at destiny.

PROPHETESS TIANA NORMAN Interview By Brittany Lowery Within the fashionista, mom, wife and visionary lived a girl; who as an overachiever still struggled with depression, rejection and low-self esteem. Her lack of faith and trust in people stemmed from childhood trauma, watching her hard-working single mom struggle with spiritual and emotional strongholds while caring for her grandmother’s mental illness, alcohol & drug-addicted household members and betrayal by close family and friends. From a runaway teen, she would later complete two years of college under scholarship in Architecture at Florida A&M University, but eventually dropped out due to a lack of finances and career support. As she began healing she worked on her personal and professional development, yet searched for love in all the wrong places. She went on to experience psychotic boyfriends, dysfunctional relationships, a divorce, domestic violence, verbal, physical and emotional abuse. She has been homeless, slept in her car, lived in transitional

housing, helplessly watched her bonus daughter go into foster care, yet she found loyalty and a royal identity in God. Her ability to overcome and be more than a conqueror has been strongly reinforced by her faith and belief. Her family was ripped apart several times yet God restored it because He had a plan. and that’s what is written. I had to consult the Father for myself and that took a lot of diligent prayer and seeking Him to be able to hear His voice. Interviewer: How did you know that you were called to be a Prophetess? Prophetess Tiana: Several other Prophets and Prophetesses shared with me the visions that God had given them. I began to see things, have dreams, and hear God’s voice more clearly and frequently. That’s what affirmed me as a Prophetess. Interviewer: You wear many hats (minister, wife, mother, business woman). How do you manage such responsibilities and have balance all at the same time? Prophetess Tiana: Well, I like to call myself a woman of many crowns. Those are my gifts. I’m actually gifted in balance; it’s one of my skill sets. I’m very skilled at having a balanced lifestyle. For me, it comes naturally. Interviewer: Wow! That’s a blessing… Yes! Prophetess Tiana: It is! I actually have a business that helps people with the same thing, with balance and style. I have a lifestyle management and an event management business where I help people with

balance, freedom, and style. I help them do the same things that I know how to do which is manage their lifestyle and events. Interviewer: How did you come into your business as an event planner? Prophetess Tiana: I was married before; I had got married in 2004 so this is my second marriage. When I was planning my first wedding, I realized that I had a gift for event planning. It came very naturally to me. I really enjoyed it and I decided that I wanted to pursue that as a career path. I deliberately went out and worked for legendary event planners, and floral designers. I worked as an event planner at fine dining restaurants, sports lounges, and nightclubs so that I could get the experience firsthand. Interviewer: Your life experiences have birthed a passion in you to help females and faithpreneurs to heal, grow and REIGN. What exactly is a faithpreneur? Prophetess Tiana: A faithpreneur (I also call a faithprofessional) is an individual who seeks higher power to govern their life and business. Interviewer: What are you believing God to do in the body of Christ for 2017?

Prophetess Tiana: I’m believing God for restoration, deliverance, more salvation, for people to be set free and get clarity on what salvation really is. Interviewer: What words of encouragement would you give to those that are single but desire marriage? Prophetess Tiana: Wait on God. Interviewer: Can you share a fashion tip with the ladies? Prophetess Tiana: Yes, my personal fashion tip would be to find colors and sizes that flatter your body. Everyone has a different body type, and you definitely want to wear colors that make you feel good about yourself. Colors influence your mood, so wear your favorite colors and sizes and measurements that flatter your body. Interviewer: What words of encouragement would you give to those that are single but desire marriage? Prophetess Tiana: Wait on God to show you your mate. Prepare for your mate. Become whole and complete by falling in love with yourself first. I don’t mean superficially fall in love with yourself, but rather be healed and complete from the inside out.

TRUE FRIENDSHIPS ARE UNCONDITIONAL By Reynaldo Rodriguez

“ If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” (Romans 14: 8) “But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who

arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky”. (Philippians 2: 12 – 15) Do we have what it takes? Do we have the intestinal fortitude to ask the tough questions? How do we deal with the spiritual crisis of pastoral care and the culture of irresponsibility? Pastors and other Christian leaders are not immune to the crisis of responsibility. Some have neglected their responsibilities to guide congregations inside the nucleus of God’s words, wisdom, and light and to hold other pastors accountable. Some mainline pastors are so hesitant to sound judgmental that they lean too far in the other direction. Granted, many pastors do shoulder the prophetic role for social problems. On racism, sexism, and classism, some pastors are not afraid to speak out. I am grateful for those braves souls who announce God’s truth with bold and powerful resolution. What voice do we hear from heaven? What is the center of the heart of the throne of grace saying? Referring to the Holy Spirit, Jesus mentions, “When he comes, he will

prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.” (John 16: 8 – 11) “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” (John 16: 12 – 15). To understand the gospel (Good News of Salvation), and who we are in Christ, we need to look through a window to the past, at the creation account and the subsequent fall of humankind. Genesis 2: 7 reads, “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” This combination of clay and divine breath is what constitutes humankind.

Suffice it to say, we have an outer self, a physical body that relates to this world through the five senses, and an inner self that relates to God and its created in His image, “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1: 26 – 27) Being created in the image of God is what gives us the capacity to fully think, feel and choose. After God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, Adam was both physically and spiritually alive. The physical life we inherited from Adam is best represented in the New Testament by the word bios. Bios describes the union of your physical body and your immaterial self-mind, emotions and will. To be physically alive means the soul or soul/spirit is in union with your body. To die physically means that you separate from your temporal body. In the Bible, to die means to be separate from,

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

and to be alive means to be in union with. Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, “We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5: 8). Obviously, who you are encompasses more than your physical body, because the body is left behind when you physically die and yet you will be present with the Lord. Significance – Man had a divine purpose: “God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Genesis 1: 28) Safety and security – All of man’s needs were provided for, “Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. (Genesis 1: 29) Belonging – Man had a sense of belonging, “The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2: 18) Bios = The soul is in union with the body. Zoe = The soul is in union with God. Although your principal identity is more than

physical, in this life you cannot exist without your physical body. Your immaterial inner self needs your material outer self to live and function in this world. For example, your physical brain is like the hardware of a computer system and your immaterial mind is like the software. A computer can’t function without software, and software needs a computer to function. You need your physical brain to control your movements and responses, and you need your immaterial mind to reason and make value judgments. The brain can’t function independently of how it has been programmed. The finest organic brain can’t accomplish anything in a corpse that lacks mind. Your mind can be perfectly programmed, but if your brain and mind is damaged you cannot function well as a person. As long as I live in the physical world, I must do so in a physical body. As such, I am going to take care of my body as well as I can by exercising, eating right and so on. The truth of the matter is that my body is corruptible and it is decaying. I don’t look the way I looked 20 years ago, and I don’t have great prospects for the next 20 years. In 2 Corinthians 5: 1 – 4, Paul referred to the believer’s body as a tent, the temporary dwelling place of the soul. “For we know that

if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.” (2 Corinthians 5: 1 – 4). Using Paul’s Holy Spirit inspire illustration, I must confess that my tent pegs are coming up, my poles are sagging and my seams are becoming frayed. At my age, (44 years old until January 4, 2015), I am just glad there is more to me than the disposable earth suit in which I walk around. The center root nucleus of the Gospel, “an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands”. That is the continuation recipe for your spiritual success as the new story of your spiritual resume unfolds, ebb, and web, matures, grow, in a nonstop undividing cycle of God’s love, peace, mercy and grace.

PROPHETIC NUGGETS FOR 2017 By Misha Wesley

“A prophecy is not a guarantee, it’s an invitation!” The lord has been speaking to me concerning this upcoming year and what his people should expect and encounter in 2017. Much of what he has spoken, I have personally walked through. I felt like I have endured the pain and have seen up close the many battles some will face this year as God provided insight and instruction on how to avoid pitfalls, schemes and plots of the enemy. As the Lord downloaded into

my spirit his wisdom, revelation and as he illuminated strategies which provided keys, so that I may go warn, help, and reveal the attacks of the enemy as well as the plans of God for his people. I knew it to be best to use my platform to write and advise the body of Christ.

The first vital point is going to be in prayer. As always we are to cover ourselves, our family and places we work with prayer. However, this is a year when ordinary prayers will not work. Well, let me

define ordinary. Prayers that do not attack the root cause of issues and problems but instead attack the fruit, prayers that are minimal and short, and prayers that are not aimed to thwart the plans of hell. Our prayers this year should become fervent and precise, direct and with Prophetic accuracy. We need to become baptized with the gift of speaking in tongues so that we speak the thoughts, intentions and will of God over those problem areas in our life.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

Remember that speaking in tongues are for today and we should all possess the ability to speak in unknown languages as the Apostle Paul states in 1 Corinthians 14:2. There will be fierce battles, volatile issues that can only be settled in the spirit, which is in prayer. We are going to need to speak directly to God concerning our government, covering the president of the United States (no matter what your side is, always choose the side of God), praying and covering the lives of our police officers, praying for young women in education; our teenage girls, our college age girls in universities against unrighteousness as they take a stand to be righteous. As we pray, we will experience vindication in every area of our life, with an increased anointing on God’s people and a year of signs, miracles and wonders!

Many people will feel the need to move and relocate. Specifically, those feeling the pull of God or his unction that a particular region or territory needs their help. Many intercessors will feel the need to relocate to Israel as

well as many missionaries to pray for that nation. This will be a year of much prayer Journeys taking place as the body of Christ combats the darkness to bring light.

Last year I sought the lord daily, hourly, Praying and weeping in his presence. As a result, I felt an accelerated push of promotion that resulted in a reconfiguration of my mantle. I feel in my spirit, many of God’s people have sought the lord, prayed and interceded for others, challenged the religious organizations and I know there has been forerunner, revival and revolutionary mantles that has been released. As a result, this will change the way we do “church”. There will be a birthing of Apostolic revival centers/ HUBS that will have strong prophetic worship, intense prayer and healing rooms, they will host gatherings and meetings, also discipling and preparing many for market place ministry. There will be a major convergence in the body of Christ. Matthew 3:11 I indeed

baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. I often lay in bed with my body at rest and ask the lord to download me visions of whatever he wanted me see and whatever he wanted to show me. I love opening my ear gates, and eye gates, to what the lord wants to show me. He would show me great stadiums of people and in large arenas gathering together to hear the word of God. God also shown me many becoming baptized this year and coming to Christ. This is a year of rising and emerging evangelists, a large harvest of souls will also take place that will lead to these large stadium gathering. God has released this year much breakthrough in knowledge, wisdom, new levels of exposure and

33

34

unveiling shall take place, both negative and positive. Those who walk closely with Christ will be exposed for their righteous lifestyles as well as those deeds done in secret. Those who have sown to the spirit will reap goodness and all good things God will add to those who walk uprightly and those who have sown to the flesh will reap the flesh which is corruption Galatians 6:8. This is a year to step into entrepreneurial dreams and investing. God has placed seeds of business ideas and visions into his people that will require them to buy new buildings, rent out spaces, move to different locations to open these businesses. God has placed entrepreneurial seeds in women and this would be a year for them to ARISE! Causing many women to become financial merchant ships and they shall begin planting those seeds into the earth, the soil is rich this year and many planting will result in a springing FORTH QUICKLY, SPEEDILY!

from high level demonic assault. Therefore, we must be trained in this area to contend and battle to THWART the plans of hell. God has also released an abundance of angels to assist and back us as we pray, confront and overthrow the kingdom of darkness. This is not a time to pick and choose a side, but to come into agreement with the WILL OF GOD, and the plans God has for your life.

There is going to be a new level of warfare that must be acquired from God involving much Apostolic intercession and warfare

Pray over the children- Masses of children will be visited by God, much in visions, dreams, and while awake, as a result, great wisdom will be given and be saved. Many parents will be also looking to adopt more children.

This is a year of Unity, John 17

Former enemies forming alliances and laying down their differences; becoming friends (we will see many countries began to do this as well). Many will feel the unction to do this for a great cause that may be bigger than themselves and that bigger cause will be to serve the son of the living GOD.

Kingdomeconomy-God

has been speaking to me as 2016 came to a close concerning kingdom finances. I began to re-do my budget as God started releasing to me plans for what he wanted me to invest in. I felt a strong need to create multiple streams of income; that will be residual and consistent. I believe that God is re-shaping the kingdom financially and we will see a dramatic shift and release in wealth. Many now will be downloaded with ideas and plans to finance the kingdom of God and be the vehicle to help advance others into their business, ministry and career. God will be showing us how to receive provision from the spirit, as a result, we will see many financial miracles and notice 2017 to be a year of great blessing and prosperity. I do pray that this article has blessed you and to take this information and ask the lord where does this fit in my life. I believe now is a perfect time to reciecve devine instruction and blueprints for our lives from the lord and also a time of major upgrade and RE-SETTING!

Prophet Jonathan Ferguson Interview By Melody Summers

Jonathan C. Ferguson is a prophetic voice with an undeniable passion for the Church to experience the glory and fullness of the presence of Jesus. He is married to Amanda Ferguson who serves alongside him in ministry with an accurate and precise prophetic utterance coupled with an undeniable grace to minister emotional healing and practical life applications to women of all ages. In the year 2001, at the age of 17, Jonathan embraced his call to ministry and began seven years of prophetic training based on the Christian International teachings and Bishop Bill Hammond. This season cultivated the urgency not merely for evangelism and sharing God’s Word, but it also taught him the importance of learning humility and being adequately prepared for future ministry opportunities. Having completed programs at Memphis Bible Institute, Jacksonville Theological Seminary, and others, Jonathan operates in an apostolic grace, which is absolute and timely for this generation.

He has lectured at Wagner Leadership Institute, which was founded by Peter C. Wagner, ministered at college campuses, and traveled extensively across the United States. His revivals, one of which lasted for 72 services in Jackson, MS, have brought people from across the country to experience the manifestation of God’s presence through Jonathan’s ministry. With a desire to impact and impart into a generation, Jonathan began an online training course, School of Prophets, which currently exceeds 100 national and international registered students. Through this platform, he is able to connect with, challenge, and train individuals around the world via 12 “on demand” web based video class sessions with interactive features. Through his ministry, which has been confirmed with countless miraculous testimonies, such as physical and emotional healings, debt cancellations, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, and even the dead being raised, manyhavecometoknowJesus in a more meaningful way. Moreover, through the prophetic anointing on his

life, there has been confirmation on God’s ability to speak through him, and he has privately counseled leading figures, including professional sports players. Along with his many accomplishments, Jonathan has authored multiple books and seeks to utilize every avenue available in spreading truth. His ministry transcends, denominations, cultures, and most importantly, seeks to bring individuals into an authentic encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Interviewer: Looking at your Bio, it’s stated that you accepted the call in 2001 at the age of 17. How did you know at that age you needed to answer to this call and can you tell us about the seven years of prophetic training? Prophet: My church is very advanced. It’s a predominantly African American church, but it’s also multi-racial. It was the first church to introduce praise and worship in the African American community, in the city of Memphis, TN. It was also the first church to embrace the fivefold ministry and the office of the Apostle. It was the first church to host

certain speakers. At that time, it was a really big deal, like Azusa, and people were doing conferences more often. We were the conferencing church, in the natural, in the spirit; we were more like the gate keeping church of that region. We introduced a lot to the city. It was very advanced. In the 80s and the 90s, it was the first church to host Bishop T.D. Jakes, Yolanda Adams, and Donnie McClurkin. It was a very instrumental church in bringing the city up to speed in the spirit. It also hosted a rvival where a lot of Baptist believers and pastors were filled with the spirit, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. It had a strong impact in the city for some of the prominent Baptist ministries in the city now that are spirit filled. They were actually spirit filled at my church. We are talking about what we call Mega churches. My home church had a lot to do with the progression of the city spiritually, even to the extent that the Mayor at that time gave the key to the city to my church. A lot of influential African American businessmen and women were birthed at that church. It rose up some very influential millionaires in the city from nothing. The church was passed down from his father that

had a strong teaching on faith and a strong miracle ministry, actually featured a miracle service. This was before I was born. One of the miracles my pastor was known for, he was having a miracle service and there was a tornado in the city, he actually spoke to the tornado for it to dissipate and it did. It had some failures and a lot of success. Leading up to my calling, it was four years after his divorce and it lost some of its good rapport. He disconnected from some of those connections, out of depression or a low place. A couple of years after that he kind of emerged and took the attitude of not wanting to have people he had relationships with seem like he was pulling on them to get back ahead. In my opinion, I believed he really went deeper in the things of God. Beyond all those previous accomplishments and we began to advance a little more. We began to hosts different types of voices that were more acclimated o spiritual things in different ways. We had national prophets that were prophets to our house and one of them was Prophet Aubrey Shines. He is the Prophet that prophesied Bishop G.E. Patterson into the office as the Bishop of the Church of God in Christ. Through him and my pastor’s

connections, I actually got the chance to meet Bishop G.E. Patterson before he passed. He was one of the voices that confirmed my prophetic office. The level of advancement of the church, when they dealt with people’s calling, they didn’t just say you’re called to ministry; they identified the specific area of ministry that you are called to. The very next week I was put on a fasting regimen. I was given literature to study about the prophetic. I would study a book it was by Dr. Bill Hammond, he’s kind of like the founder of the prophetic in some ways, and it was called prophets and personal prophecy. I fasted one day a week until 6pm; I was still a senior in high school at the time. The prophetic presbyter of the church, we met once a week on a Saturday and we did activations. That was the system of accountability that my church had instituted for people who had inclinations of the prophetic, who felt like they were called. We would train, do activations, and learn about the office. When they felt like you were ready, then you would become more active. I became active fairly, quickly, but I still trained weekly and intensively for seven years straight, before anyone outside of my local church was allowed to call me a

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

prophet. It was vetted, measured, and examined. It wasn’t just “go get a business card and tomorrow goes to preaching engagements.” It was something I was very much trained in, to the point that I could train others. Interviewer: Your foundation shows great preparation. Speaking to you, I see you hold wisdom beyond your years. We know that in God there is Wisdom. Can you tell us any particular points to become effective or proficient in the prophetic? Prophet: I actually have a School of the prophets and materials. It can be found on my website. If I could narrow it down to what I would admonish people who feel the call to the prophetic, the first thing would be to have the proper covering and accountability. Prophets need people who can tell them no, and they need people who can tell them that wasn’t God. Because as our spirit begins to grow in God, Romans 8 teaches, that God’s spirit bears witness with our spirit. The way that God instituted for us to receive communication from him, it allows room for fallacy, because even though his Spirit is infinite, our spirit is not. So, our spirit is still growing, our spirit can be wrong,

right, it can be off, it can be on. So, we need proper checks and balances. When you feel something in your spirit, no one can actually tell you, you are wrong, except the person that you are accountable to. Prophets need to understand, this hearing from God and accountability, it’s kind of like an oxymoron, we’re supposed to be the ones to hear from God, but we still need someone to say “I know you feel like this is God, but this is 100% not God.” The one thing we’ve left in the body of Christ is 1 Corinthians Chapter 14, when itsays,“whenpeopleprophesy that it should be judged.” No prophetic activity or no activity in the spiritual realm or supernatural realm should go without measurement. That’s what we’ve lost. We have a group of people in the Body of Christ that feels like they can just pull the God card. Whenever they feel like something is God and it goes against human reasoning, it goes against sound wisdom, it goes against even the natural orders of life, all of a sudden, people are supposed to respect that they hear from God. That is completely dysfunctional, out of order, and further from the truth. I say the higher your office calling, the higher you are in God, the more checks and balances you need. It’s

a spirit of pride really. We have to humble ourselves because we feel like the higher we go in God, the more no one can tell us anything. Really, that’s just the opposite of how the Kingdom is set up. Even Jesus, himself, the Messiah, would always reference his Father, and he did nothing without the sanctioning, the approval, the go ahead, and the endorsement of His Father. We have a lot of ministries that climb up high in influence but they have no one covering them. They have no one to speak into them and I believe that’s one of the things that attributes to the falls in the kingdom. We need a level of accountability and humility to over site. We need that. Interviewer: Yes, accountability is very important. You have the School of the Prophets, but you also have a Boot Camp that will be at the end of January. Can you tell us about that? Prophet: Yes, it includes the prophetic, but it’s more. In Matthew 10, Jesus asked a question: What did you go to see when you went to see John the Baptist? And they said a prophet. Jesus said no more than a prophet. I believe you will only be as strong in the prophetic as you extend in your growth and your learning beyond

the sphere of the prophetic. That’s one thing that attributed to my growth in God. Even though, I trained seven years in the prophetic, my interest was in the Apostleship. My role models were Peter and Paul. What I looked up to in God were the Apostles. It stretched my mantle and causes my anointing to be agile enough to where I could maneuver in the spheres beyond that of the prophetic. This Boot Camp training is for the prophetic and more. It’s the whole word of the supernatural and training people, no matter what their gifts are. Of course, it’s going to attract a lot of prophetic people. I’ve been in this stage for 3 years or more. I have a dual office. I’m called to the apostolic and the prophetic. Ministry and my work traveling on the road for 3 or 4 years maybe have been more apostolic in nature. We want to get to the place where we don’t limit ourselves, even to the prophetic. Everyone doesn’t have that. Everyone that is called into the prophetic doesn’t graduate to the apostolic. I’m mentioning that because there are some people not called to the prophetic that will benefit from this boot camp as well. It’s going to

be different. It’s going to be intimate. I’m taking more of the approach that Jesus took, when he dealt with the multitude. It’s not lecture based. It’s going to be room for questions and answers. It’s going to be room for personal interactions. It’s not going to be me standing at a pulpit teaching a lesson. It’s going to be me looking down into people’s soul and allowing God to say, ok, this is where they’re stuck. This is where they need a push. This is where they need to be strengthened. Just really pulling on their prophetic grace and touching people beyond a common church experience. This is not the first one. This is the first one open to the public registration. The first one I only took 12, so it’s been tried. It works. The goal is to raise up an army of intercessors, watchmen, people who are very proficient in their gift. We had people in the class that have never seen visions, have never seen angels, never had supernatural encounters and they left the first session seeing visions, seeing angels, and being acclimated to the world we’re called to serve from. Because we’re not of this world and we need to get acclimated to the invisible world because witches and warlocks, they are, and they are propagating their agenda through people in

high places. So, God wants to put some prophets, some Nathans who can speak to the king, some Elijah’s who can see what’s in the king’s chamber, who can deal with people in high places, but you got to be proficient for that. You can’t be kindergarten level prophetic and you want to deal with high level spiritual activity. I believe that people from this boot camp will be called to celebrities, government, the marketplace, businessmen, and certain spheres of i nfluence. Interviewer: That is amazing. I know that will do some good to those who attend. We know that you also have a prayer CD, how did that come about? Prophet: I lived a lifestyle of fasting. Fasting and prayer is the key. Really, fasting, prayer, and giving, those are the three disciplines Jesus taught in Matthew 6. He taught a lot of things from Matthew 5-7. He ended in Chapter 7 saying “a foolish man hears these words and does not do them.” I found it to be a very significant momentum, when we as believers incorporate all three of those disciplines in our lifestyle. Most of us have one or two, but we rarely put all three together and that’s the only time that Jesus said if you do these

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

in secret, then I will reward you openly. There is an open reward tied to those three things. In Ecclesiastics it says that two are better than one, but a 3-fold cord is not easily broken. Something happens when you partner all three. So I’ve built my life in fasting, praying, and giving. I’ve built my ministry in prayer, fasting, and giving. The prayer part, when I would be in seasons of fasting, I would pray for things and Jesus would refer me to what he spoke in John 15, that if my word abides in you, then you abide in me, then you’ll ask what you will and you’ll have it. I notice myself I would be praying for things, that I did not have a word level strong enough, to expect to see results. I began to write down and chronicle and just scribe everything I was believing God for and I try to find scripture references throughout the entire Bible, every subject that I want to see God do in my life and ministry, and from that I developed prayer devotionals. That I only give to my students, but a portion of it I made available in one of my books called Boot Camp prayer. It’s just a portion of it, dealing with the warfare portion, and the God of War. With the CD, I took

those prayer devotionals and I prayed them. They are not repeating after me prayers; they are a road map in the Spirit to get to a certain place. One thing I noticed, I would pray and because of the Spirit of intercession, and how the Spirit moves in prayer, I would get to certain places in the Spirit that I didn’t know how to return to. After chronicling and journaling my prayer life, I began to find the road map back to certain places and dimension that opened up while I was praying. Now, I know how to intentionally go there. It’s only about 5 people who have my prayer journal. All of them have seen levels of promotion in my life, as a result of praying those prayers. I believe this boot camp class, that these are the people that God will allow me to give the full in my prayer closet. Looking at the life of Jesus, that’s what he did. He had 12 disciples, but he also had 70 disciples, but the 12 had access to things that the 70 did not. Then out of the 12 he had 3 people, like on the Mt. Olives, in the garden of Gethsemane, he would only take Peter, James, and John and he commanded them not to share what they saw until after his resurrection. Those things were exclusive, they were top secret, and it was classified information.

I see my prayer closet as a classified, like CIA, special Ops in the spirit. The prayer album is called Boot Camp prayer. I compare the Boot Camp to enlisting into the Green Beret or enlisting into the navy seals. Their training is a lot more strenuous than normal enlisters. It’s another level of the ministry. The CD is called Boot Camp prayer because it’s the boot camp version of the area of prayer. It came about because God began to show me people were violating and they were attracting attacks upon themselves in the way that they engage in spiritual warfare. God’s army can’t engage in war just however they want to engage. The word war in Greek is where we get our English word strategy. We treat spiritual warfare like, the devil messed with me and now I’m going to get him back. That’s not war. That’s not strategy. That’s retaliation. The enemy pulls people into fights he knows they’re going to lose by getting them to retaliate and violate a legality that actually opens the door for him to come into their life. Even with David, when the enemy came against him, he didn’t go out and pursue his enemy, he prayed first, and said Lord, shall I pursue, and the Lord said Yes, pursue, overtake, and then you’re going to recover

all. We have to have that same mindset when it comes to spiritual battle. Some wars we’re not called to fight. Some battles we should never be in. He dealt with me about the word warfare prayer. We got it all wrong because prayer is a dialogue between us and God. The Lord spoke to me; a lot of people in warfare are talking to the devil in spiritual warfare more than they are talking to me. If it’s warfare prayer, it should be a dialogue between you and God. That’s where you’re going to learn how to war, that’s where you’re going to get your strategy. You’re going to get it from heaven. You’re not going to get it from binding and rebuking the devil and all his demons either. He said go through the book of Psalms and I went through the entire book and David would pray a certain way when he found himself in battle and surrounded by his enemies. The Lord showed me that, that is the proper protocol for warfare prayer. There is a way you can pray in warfare, that you don’t even have to fight your enemies, God will fight your enemies for you. In the book, Boot Camp prayer, there are 11 chapters on how you engage the battle. Yes, I believe we do fight, but we

do it according to God’s protocol. There are two chapters in the book strictly on the proper way to bind and loose. I explained the hierarchy of principalities, powers, and that whole government setup because it’s a military chain of command. Interviewer: That was a lot of great information. What is one strategy to use against warfare? Prophet: I would say the numberonestrategyistomake sure you are in the presence of the Lord. Warfare prayer is talking to God on a level to get strategy of how to engage our enemy or how to overcome them. One thing about being in God’s presence is it positions you above the attack. We are fighting upward instead of downward. When we’re in the presence of the Lord, he is positioned higher than principalities and powers. I would say a strategy is never to come down to the devil’s level. Never come down and fight on his turf. That’s what armies of old used as strategy. You have to know what turf you’re fighting on. You have to know if you’re fighting on a hill or in the valley. Each level and terrain will have certain pros and cons. Like, it is in the natural, so it is in the Spirit. Is the devil trying to lure you in the valley? Is he trying to lure you up on

a mountain? You have to know the terrain surrounding the warfare. Never come on his level. Never fight on his turf. Interviewer: Why do you think most believers are not operating in the supernatural? Prophet: They don’t understand it. A lot of leaders don’t want it. There is a scripture in Proverbs, paraphrasing, it basically says, where there is no Ox the troth is clean. In other words, wherever there’s an ox breaking up the ground, it gets messy and a lot of people do not want to deal with the maintenance required in growing in the supernatural. It gets messy. People prophesy wrong. People lay hands on people, they die from sickness, and they don’t have an explanation. A lot of people want this clean church that doesn’t offend anybody. Interviewer: How do you find time to balance ministry and your family? Prophet: I have three daughters; a three year old, a two year old, and a one month old. I love when people ask that question. My answer shocks people. My answer is to me it’s natural. It’s not an issue of balance. It’s the issue of responsibility. I think when God made man, male and

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

female. The Bible says he formed man from the dust and the word formed in Hebrew means to squeeze. Then it says he fashioned Eve out of Adam’s rib. The word fashioned means built. God fashioned our genders in two totally different capacities. As a male, God has made me to be a Father. So, if I’m walking in God’s will and if I’m doing what he’s told me to do, it’s just natural for me to step up to the plate and be a father. It’s something wrong when you have to find a way to balance it. It’s something dysfunctional about that because the way God made us, we’re born, and it’s just innate for us. It’s just instinctive for me to be a father. It’s instinctive for my wife to be a mother. It’s the natural order of life. You have to be irresponsible, self-centered, to throw off that order because it’s just natural for us to fulfill the role that God has created us to fulfill. Interviewer: How did you and your wife meet? Prophet: I met my wife on the 30th day of a 47-day liquid fast. Yes, so I looked like I was sick. I was so skinny because I wasn’t eating. We both were not interested, but I had got a prophecy that I would meet my wife soon. I did meet the woman that I ended up marrying, during the time

that God told me. We just was on two different planes than. Not spiritually, we both were really deep in the things of God. That’s what kept us talking at first. We were not interested in dating. We became friends. I had a season in ministry, where I had a momentum and the friends I thought were friends, were not. She ended up becoming my best friend. Now, I don’t suggest you have a best friend of the opposite sex. I don’t think that’s natural all the time, but we ended up becoming closer and we grew our friendship, that ended up turning into a relationship, where we started dating , and then we got married. We met the real us. A lot of people date and meet that persons representative and not the real them because they’re trying to impress each other so much. Because we didn’t have that initial thing for each other, we were not trying to impress each other. Even down to our deepest and darkest secrets, that we would’ve held back, not to lose the other person’s trust, we shared those things with each other. So, we built a strong foundation for a healthy marriage without dating. Interviewer: We know you

spend a lot of time pouring out into others and traveling preaching and teaching. How do you spend time with God in order to receive from him? Prophet: I deal with commitment to prayer. Even looking at Jesus, in the height of his ministerial success, he didn’t have a certain time he prayed every day, like every morning at 5am, the Bible says, sometimes he prayed at noon, certain times he prayed all night, certain times he prayed before he ministered, certain times after he ministered, certain times he left in the middle of the multitudes waiting on him to perform and he would steal away and pray. I found that many leaders what should be their devotion to God, becomes their preparation for ministry. Like, they only read the Bible to get a new sermon; they only pray to be anointed when it’s time to preach. What I do and how I balance it, is my time with the Lord has nothing to do with my ministry. My time with the Lord has everything to do with how much closer I want to be to him. Live in a place with Him. I live in a place with communion with him and I try to walk with Him.

ODED – THE PROPHET By Kimberly Hargraves

o A different Oded is mentioned as Father of the prophet Azariah (2 Chronicles 15:1) o He was a prophet in the time of Ahaz of Judah. Ahaz was a wicked King. 2 Chronicles 28:2 says He made idols for Baal.” 2 Chronicles 28:3 says,

“He burned His children in the fire.” He sacrificed his children. o Whenever there is sin in the camp, God will raise up a prophet. That’s why it seems like there are so many prophets arising because there is so much injustice.

o The Nation was divided. The Northern Kingdom was Israel and the capital was Samaria. The Southern Kingdom was Judea and it’s capital was Jerusalem. o The Lord allowed Judea to get defeated by this wicked King because He was mad at their sins.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

o God used a man named Pekah to carry out his judgment against Judah. He killed 120, 000 men in Judah in one day because they had forsaken the Lord (2 Chronicles 28:6) o Oded was from Samaria but God sent him to meet the army to urge them to return the captives back. 2 Chronicles 28:9 says, ““But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the Lord God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven.” The Israelites killed the Judeans with a rage that reached heaven and they enjoyed doing it. So God sendsaprophettocallouttheir sin because they were very malicious. o Prophets have to face the crowd along sometimes. He went against the grain. He stood out. He didn’t conform. He was courageous. Message that’s not popular.

o Oded asked a question. “But aren’t you also guilty of sins against the Lord your God?” o The Israelites planned to make the Judeans captives their slaves but it was forbidden by the Law of Moses (Leviticus 25:39-46). 2 Chronicles 28:10 says, “And now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even with you, sins against the Lord your God?” o Oded urges the army to set the captives free. 2 Chronicles 28:11 says, “Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the Lord is upon you.” o God sends other leaders to back up his word. God always confirms things between two or three. (2 Chronicles 28:12-13) o Their message was the same as Oded: a) don’t bring the cap-

tives here or we will be guilty before God, b) the army’s guilt is already great, and c) God’s fierce anger rests on Israel. o (2 Chronicles 28:14) The captives were let go by the Israelite army and it’s spoils (plunder). o 2 Chronicles 28:15 From the plunder, the Ephraim leaders clothed all who were naked. The captives were given food, drink and healing balm. Then, they were taken to Jericho in Judah and restored to fellow countrymen. o In Summary, Oded objected to the Israelites enslaving 200,000 wives, sons and daughters of Judah after Israel defeated Judah’s army.

PSALM 37: PART 13 THE RIGHTEOUS By Keiyia JOYet George

I literally just woke up. It’s after 4pm, I’m hungry and need to get up, but the sound of my little one’s coughing led me to pray. ‘Father, you said that healing was for the children. He’s coughing. So Lord, I ask that healing be manifested in him now. Why? Because I’m righteous. And because I am righteous, then until my children know on their own, they are righteous. So because we are righteous, he is healed. In Jesus name. Amen. ‘ One may ask why do I point out that I am righteous and

because I am righteous I deserve this. Well, that an instruction from God: to remind and prove him. Remind Me [of your merits with a thorough report], let us plead and argue our case together; State your position, that you may be proved right. Isaiah‬ ‭43:26‬ ‭AMP‬‬ Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Malachi‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬ In these two verses are two very direct instructions: remind God of what you have done and plead your case...litigate if you will. Throughout the Word, we are shown that there are indeed Courts of Heaven and the devour is there trying to use everything against us! So state your case. Prove me... He says in Malachi. Follow the instructions and see won’t He do just what He said. Each time we are to prove a spiritual law or principle, we must follow all the steps that come with it. If you haven’t figured it out

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

yet, I love spiritual science experiments. Lord, you said the if I... then you would do.... Doesn’t these often daily reminders remind YOU of what he said? It gives you extra ammo to use against your thoughts when negative thoughts began to bombard your mind

case. But the jail cell door has seemingly been shut on you. Why didn’t your request manifest. Well it wasn’t God. Did you prove His word. Remind Him of his promises. Follow the entire equation? This equation includes a selfcheck: am I righteous?? I’ve been hearing lately that we cannot lose our righteousness because:

So as I lie here, thinking about my case, this lead me to recall our next lesson. This tiny portion of Psalm 37 has rang out in my ears many times in a loud voice. It’s a song I heard so many times during my childhood. Sang by Janet Paschal, her voice is booming even now! (https://m.youtube. com/watch?v=h5aBuiJuRJk)

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭NKJV

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Psalms‬ ‭37:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. II Corinthians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

But here I am praying. Pleading my case. I am righteous. And because I am righteous, I shall have what I ask: healing to manifest because it’s part of the bread for children. Let’s start with righteousness briefly. Being righteous means being in good standing with God. You’ve asked. You’ve begged. You’ve pleaded. You’ve stated your

But where there is sin, He cannot be! So always do a self-check and remain in Him.

Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ On to the bread. In your own time, read and study Matthew 15:21-28. Basically a woman from a people who worshiped idols came for healing for here daughter. But He answered and

said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” Matthew‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The children’s bread?!?! Little dogs?!?! Well the dogs here refer to the people the woman came from but what is this bread Jesus refers to?!?! Well, the woman wanted healing for her daughter and Jesus told her it’s not good to take children’s bread (what belongs to the children of God) and throw it to the dogs (dang that’s harsh!). So healing is for the children of God. Because I am righteous, and my seed will not have to beg for healing! My baby will be two soon, not only do I keep him in the Lord, but at his age, he is definitely a child of God. Healing is for him. My seed will never have to beg for bread! The second part of the ‘bite’ is there. You can read it at your leisure and see what revelation you can get from it. It is verse 25 that I focus on. But if we must, my seed will be blessed with every spiritual blessing (bread; Ephesians 1:3-4) because I am merciful and deal graciously. With love, Keiyia JOYet George

SPIRITUALLY ALIVE By Reynaldo Rodriguez

We also inherited from Adam the capacity for spiritual life. Paul wrote “Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4: 16). He was referring to the spiritual life of the believer that doesn’t age or decay as does the outer shell. To be spiritually alive—characterized in the New Testament

by the word zoe means that your soul or soul/spirit is in union with God. That is the condition in which Adam was created physically alive and spiritually alive, in perfect union with God. For the Christian, to be spiritually alive is to be in union with God. This spiritual life is most often conveyed in the New Testament as being “in Christ,” or “in Him.” Like

Adam, we were created to be in union with God. However Adam sinned and his union with God was severed. It is God’s eternal plan to bring human creation back to Himself and restore the union He enjoyed with Adam at creation. The restored union with God, which we find “in Christ,” is what defines who we are as children of God. In the original creation,

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

human kind was given a divine purpose for being here. Humanity was given dominion over all the other creatures. “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1: 26 – 27) Adam didn’t have to search for significance. That attribute was the result of creation. Satan had to crawl on his belly like a snake in the presence of God. He was not the god of this world at that time. He usurped the authority given to Adam and his descendants after Adam sinned and lost his relationship with God. Not only did Adam have a sense of significance, but he also enjoyed a sense of safety and security. All his needs were provided. Genesis 1: 29 – 30 records: “Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—every-

thing that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.” Adam was completely cared for in the garden. All of his needs were provided. He could eat of the tree of life and live forever. He was safe and secure in the presence of God. Adam apparently enjoyed intimate, one on one communion with God, but something was missing. “The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2: 18). Adam and Eve not only had a sense of belonging with God, but also with each other. When God created Eve, He established human community, a meaningful open, sharing relationship with one another. Adam and Eve were naked and unashamed. They had nothing to hide. Their bodies consisted of no dirty parts. God created them male and female and told them to be fruitful and multiply. They could openly have an intimate sexual relationship with each other in the presence of God. Unfortunately, the idyllic (restful) setting in the Garden of Eden was shattered. Genesis 3 tells the sad story of Adam and Eve’s lost relationship with God

through sin. The effects of their fall were dramatic, immediate and far reaching, infecting every subsequent member of the human race. What happened to Adam and Eve at a spiritually degree level because of the Fall? They died. Their union with God was severed and they were separated from God. God had specifically said, “ but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” (Genesis 2: 17). They ate and they died. Did they die physically? Not immediately, although physical death would be a consequence of the fall as well. They died spiritually, they were separated from God’s presence. They died spiritually; they were separated from God’s presence. They were physically cast out of the Garden of Eden and a cherubim waving a flaming sword was stationed at the entrance “to guard the way to the three of life” (Genesis 3: 24). Some believe this act preserved a way back as God’s plan of redemption unfolded. Just as we inherited physical life from our first parents, so we have inherited spiritual death from them, “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and

61

62

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned”. (Romans 5: 12), “ For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.” (1 Corinthians 15: 21 – 22). Consequently, every human being who comes into the world is borne physically alive but dead, separated from God, “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.” (Ephesians 2: 1 – 3). We were in a self volunteer destruction path toward eternity, we were in deep trouble, God showed mercy and grace and decided to show up through His Son Jesus to save us: “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in

transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2: 4 – 5). Notice here that biblical truth reveal 1 God’s act of grace and redemption does not require any physical effort from our part 2 We accept God’s gift of salvation and forgiveness repenting from our sins and by faith, (we are borne again). 3 Facilitating this way the restoration of our original communion we previously enjoy with our Heavenly Father in the Garden of Eden, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.“ (Galatians 5: 22 – 23) Notice here the analogy the Holy Spirit represents as the “New Tree of the Fruit of Life” By God, we were made alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. (Grace). The sentence is described in past tense, as something that took already place. How did this happened? What was the heavenly dynamics that move the Almighty’s heart to show this kind of anti destructive undeterred love?

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5: 8)

SURRENDERING IT ALL: WHEN LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH By Keiyia JOYet George

Last year I dealt with so many women who were struggling to maintain their relationship with God and their spouse. This is written from a woman’s prospective but the principles shared will apply to men as well. I can recall the days of my parents arguing because my mom wanted to go to church and my dad wanted her to stay home. He even accused her of dating the pastor. But realistically, my mom has a love for Christ

that I have yet to see in another and honestly, I think my dad was jealous of this relationship. What he didn’t realize was he could have this same relationship. Initially, I planned on writing about the fact that there are so many women in the fellowship places and not enough men. The men, if they are like my dad was, may be sitting home sulking because their wife has gone for a few hours to be with their first love. I wanted to write about why I thought when

you looked around in some houses the ratio was at least 25:1. But when I started to write, that’s not what came. So maybe we’ll cover that another time. Instead, what I got was surrendering your spouse to God when things look like they are about to end. The more I grow in my walk, the more I spend time alone with Holy Spirit, the more I realize I have a lot more to learn and further to go and grow. For instance,

64

I’ve learned that I’d take my problems to the altar, give them to God, and keep one finger on them...just in case. You want to know what this looks like? Hmm. Let me see....say there’s this position or job you want. You’ve prayed something like this: ‘Oh gracious, and Heavenly Father, I come to you asking that you look upon your humble servant with grace and mercy. Lord, there’s this position I want. It’s (whatever it is at whatever location). Father I place this request in your hands and ask if it is thy will, let it be so. In Jesus name. Amen.’ I, for one, DO NOT pray like this. It’s too formal for me. But I prayed this way for the readers who still believe that Our Daddy requires something so well spoken and formulated with all the right words...or whatever religious fanatics feel... You know what I’m saying though. You’ve made a petition and left it up to the will of God. But in the backdrop, behind the scenes, with no ill intention what so ever, you are over there working and networking, trying to force this to happen. If God didn’t tell you to network and talk to people, you have not surrendered this

to God. I recently heard my brother-in-law say: you have broken the terms of the surrender. But let’s bring this closer to home. You are a woman of God. You believe His Word. You know He told you this marriage will be successful. He promised you you’d get back together. He has sent word after word after word that reconciliation and restoration is coming. When you look at your relationship, you see the complete opposite, but in the beginning you wage a good war with the prophecies you have received (1 Timothy 1:18). Overtime, your spouse has gotten more distant. With every word, things look worse. He’s hit you. Verbally abused you. Comes home when he wants to. Worse! He’s moves out and asked you for a divorce so he can be with his new woman and their child!! WHAT NOW!!!! Well it’s easy for me to say continue to stand on the promises of the Word. For one, divorce is still frowned upon by God. He would never tell you to divorce your spouse. NEVER. So for all of those people who claim God told you this wasn’t the person for you and to leave them, please stop lying on

Him. That goes against the Word. I can quote plenty of scriptures that go against divorce, but I often hear Moses permitted divorce so I’ll quote the one regarding that: “He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” Matthew 19:8 KJV The very next scripture is often used to say well he cheated so I can divorce. Cheating is adultery. Not fornication. The scripture references fornication. Without getting all ‘biblically’ on you, it’s basically saying: when I married you, you said you were a virgin. I found out you are not and by consummating this relationship we will commit adultery. So I release you from me so that you may return to your first husband...or the first person you slept with. If you recall, sex is meant to between married people so when they married, both parties were to be sexually pure. But that’s another topic for another day. My point here is DIVORCE IS NOT IN GOD’S PLAN FOR US. So what now. He’s left me. Moved on. Started another family, but we are still married. I look like a fool!

Sweetie, I promise you, if you stay with God in this, you will be vindicated and receive your just reward. I know it’s hard but let me give you a real live example and testimony. My sister and her husband have now been married for eight years. Six of those years were pure HELL. When they met (after conversing for a period of time via phone), God had revealed to both of them separately that this is who He had for them. So after a short courtship, with this knowledge that it was approved by God, they married. In the very beginning, things were great and all was perfect. But this quickly turned sour as she learned she had some skeletons in her closet that needed to be let go of (resentment, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness of self and others, and one failed marriage thus far). He, on the other hand, had some other demons he was fighting. As an ordained pastor, preaching since he was about four, he was a womanizer, a drug addict, a liar, and a smooth taking, pulpit preaching, snack. Reading this, one may say why would God put these two together. She cried many nights wondering the same thing and refusing to have a second failed marriage, she

continually turned to God. I say continually because every time she placed him in His hands, she did something to undo it. After many years, many fights, many leaving one another, many ‘get outs’, many words spoken that tore one another down, she finally surrendered him to God. It wasn’t easy, so this is what God did. (I’ll be paraphrasing this part.) “Lord,” she whispered, “you told me to marry this man but I want out. Will you allow me to have this desire of my heart?” “Oh, daughter,” He calmly replied, “I wish above all things that you proposer. It is not my will that you divorce but if you ask, I will allow it (permissive will: never the best plan of action), but if you do, these are all the souls that will be lost.” As she looked out at the thousands upon thousands of people he showed her, reality kicked in: if I divorce my husband, the ministry of our marriage will be detrimental to the Kingdom of God. If I divorce him, the ministry for Christ we were to do would be lost. If I divorce him, these souls are upon my head. I promised God I’d obey Him and let Him guide my every step.

“Lord, if this is what you want, then you have to fix it. I’m done.” She closed her eyes and saw herself FINALLY taking her hands off her husband and giving him to God. She took her eyes off her husband and placed them on God. She focused on her relationship with God rather than her relationship with her husband. In doing so, she was able to have her heart mended and hear from Him more clearly than ever. During this time, she received very tough instructions. Things she abhorred. Cook for who!!! But she did it. Rub whose back!!! But she did it. Apologize for what!!!! But she did it. Keeping in tune with the small voice leading her, she slowly began to soften her glare as she completed every assignment God gave her. And by focusing her eyes on her relationship with God, she stopped messing up any progress He made and He began to heal her relationship with her husband. See, what she learned after six years is her way is not perfect. If she’d only listened many years ago, she wouldn’t have had to endure for so long. One last story from this wonderful couple. In late 2015, God led her to move.

Without him!!! Without question, she packed up, and moved. Within four months, the two were reconciled. He had renewed his relationship with God (for real this time) and they’ve found a new relationship truly ordained by God. They minister as a couple and have shared their testimony many times in hope that another couple can be saved through God and completely surrender to His will. This month is about love. I LOVE love!!! I despise divorce. So what better thing to share than a reconciled marriage that was saved by faith! Did I tell you that he moved out at some point (or several) and was with a new woman? We women know that, that typically means the relationship is done so we go ahead and file for divorce. Divorce in this country is running rampant. Everyone from the pastor to the newlywed is divorcing. It’s like a new badge of honor. But what if you decide to take your eyes off of your relationship and plant them solely on God? What if you said ‘Lord, I surrender all’ and truly give it to Him. What if you said, ‘I may look like I’m losing, but I know I am victorious!’ What if you said ‘I’ll trust You no matter what it looks like’? What if you decided to be the one

to break the generational curse on marriage in your lineage! Being the one to look like a donkey in a marriage can’t be easy. People will talk, but they talk anyway. The Word says don’t be afraid of men in their faces (Jeremiah 1:18). I’ve always taken this to mean: AIN’T NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO ME SO TALK!!!! Be prepared for my Daddy though. So, can you step out today and trust God to fix this thing. Even when things look like they are going the wrong way, trust Him. Someone asked me this week what does this look like, and while I haven’t had to trust God to heal my marriage, I’ve had to trust in a lot of things in and around my marriage and other parts of my life. I hope she gets a chance to read this. Just recently, during my quiet time with Holy Spirit, a worrying spirit came upon me. I found myself laying the item on the altar. You see, I’m a visual person. I tend to physically do things or I see myself doing. So as I watched myself lay it down, the thought popped back up. Well, I’m in my special time with my first love. So what did I do? I saw my mind as a touchscreen device and I swiped it away. Seriously. And it went.

To this day I don’t know what it was that worried me. This might not work for you but find a way to ‘swipe it away’ and out of your mind. Find your peace in God and watch Him do the impossible. You don’t have to wait six years like the couple mentioned. You can have it now! I leave you with this: I apply the blood of Jesus on every broken marriage. In Jesus name. Amen. SIX HINDRANCES WHEN ADVANCING THE KINGDOM AND FOUR WAYS HOW TO OVERCOME THEM By Kimberly Hargraves

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

Whenever you try to accomplish anything significant for the Lord, you will face strong opposition. We will look at the book of Nehemiah. God gave him an assignment to build the wall and the enemy tried to stop him. o Nehemiah 2:17-20 says, “Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision.” And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work. But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they jeered at us and despised us and said, “What is this thing that you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?” Then I replied to them, “The God of heaven will make us prosper, and we his servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or claim[a] in Jerusalem.” • Whenever you are lukewarm it seems like the enemy doesn’t mess with you. However, when

you get on fire for God and decide that you will serve him as never before than the opposition starts. • The devil doesn’t want us to advance God’s kingdom. He will try his best to oppose that. 6 ways the devil tries to stop us from advancing God’s kingdom. The opposition is a way to keep you seeking God. Remember not to yield to demonic attacks but to keep pressing. Your labor will pay off and you will reap your reward. 1) He gets angry and causes others to get angry at you. • People (under demonic influence) start to get mad with you when you start doing your God giving assignment. They get jealous and start to pray against you and plot your downfall. • Arising attack on Christian leaders on the forefront. a. Nehemiah 4:1 says, “Now when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry and greatly enraged, and he jeered at the Jews.” b. Nehemiah 4:7 says, “But when Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs and

the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem was going forward and that the breaches were beginning to be closed, they were very angry.” 2) He does mockery and sarcasm. a. The enemy uses these tactics to cause low self esteem in you so that’s why it’s vital to know who you are in Jesus Christ. It is vital to hold on to the promises of God. It is also important to disconnect from any negative sources that will suck your faith. It’s a way to knock you off track. b. Nehemiah 4:2 says, “And he (Sanballat) said in the presence of his brothers and of the army of Samaria, “What are these feeble (pathetic) Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves?[a] Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of (trash), and burned ones (ashes) at that?” 3) He threaten and uses intimidation. a. Since the anger and mockery didn’t work, the enemy will try another way to get you to stop advancing God’s

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

kingdom. b. The enemy will cause Christians to get arrest because of their faith and beliefs etc. This is not a gay issue but a spiritual one. c. Nehemiah 4:8 says, “And they (Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs and the Ammonites and the Ashdodites) all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause confusion in it.” It may seemed like they were out numbered in the natural but it’s more fighting with us than against us. d. Nehemiah 4:11 says, “And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come among them and kill them and stop the work.” The enemy is just bluff. Don’t believe his lies. You have a powerful God that will fight for you. 4) The enemy will cause discouragement. a. Discouragement will shut you down if you aren’t strong enough in the faith. It will cause double mindededness. It will cause you to go weary and become battle fatigue. You have to stand firm in the Lord and in the power of his might. b. Nehemiah 4:10 says, “In Judah it was said,[a]

“The strength of those who bear the burdens is failing. There is too much rubble (trash). By ourselves we will not be able to rebuild the wall.”Discouragement will cause you to lose focus. You will begin to focus on the impossiblitlies and not on the power of God.

people who lived near by not Sanballat and his crew. These were the people that you will least expect negativity from. Sometimes, it is just better not to tell anyone what God is doing in your life. Let them see the blessing manifest.

c. One of the tactics of the enemy is to attack at the mid way point. When God first gives you an assignment you are zealous and excited about it but doing the ½ mark you may get discouraged by all the attacks of the enemy so you won’t complete the assignment.

6) The enemy will cause fear.

5) The enemy will use negativity a. Some people aren’t even aware that they are being used by the devil. You can’t be a people pleaser but a God pleaser. God gave you the assignment so you must get it done. You can’t be surrounded by people with no faith and people who don’t understand the vision. b. Nehemiah 4:12 says, “Then the Jewish people who lived near our enemies came and ·told [warned] us repeatedly [L ten times], “·Everywhere you turn [From every direction], the enemy will attack us.” These were the

a. Fear will paralyze you and will cause you not to walk in destiny or purpose. Fear is debilitating and will stop you from advance the kingdom. b. Nehemiah 4:14 says, “Then I looked around and [After an inspection, I] stood up and said to the ·important men [nobles], the ·leaders [officials], and the rest of the people: “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and ·powerful [awesome; glorious]. Fight for your brothers, your sons and daughters, your wives, and your homes.” 1) We will overcome demonic opposition by prayer a. The enemy will try his best to stop you from praying. He wants to resist you and keep your mouth closed. b. Nehemiah 4:4 says, “I prayed, “Hear us, our God.

We are ·hated [despised]. Turn the ·insults [taunts; sneers] of Sanballat and Tobiah back on their own heads. ·Let them be captured and stolen like valuables [Send them as plunder to a land of exile].” c. Nehemiah 4:9 says, “But we prayed to our God and appointed guards ·to watch for [L against] them day and night.” 2) Have to be enthusiastic about the work a. You have to love what you do no matter what opposition you may face. You may have to take a break or breath but don’t ever stop building. You have to be hopeful and remind yourself of God’s promises. b. Nehemiah 4:6 says, “So we rebuilt [L and connected/joined together] the wall to half its height, because the people were ·willing to [enthusiastic in their; L had a heart to] work.” 3)

Be Vigilant

a. Be watchful of the enemy. Watching for possible dangerous situations. b. It’s important to be a watchman on the wall and keep your guard up and to be in tune with the spirit of

God. c. Nehemiah 4:13 says, “So I ·put [stationed] people behind the lowest places along the wall—the ·open [exposed] places—and I ·put families together [stationed people by families] with their swords, spears, and bows.” d. Nehemiah 4:16-18 says, “From that day on, half my people worked on the wall. The other half was ready with spears, shields, bows, and armor. The · officers [leaders] stood in back of the ·people [L house] of Judah who were building the wall. Those who carried · materials [loads] did their work with one hand and carried a weapon with the other. Each builder wore his sword at his side as he ·worked [built]. The trumpeter [C to signal an attack] stayed next to me.” 4) Keep Focused on the Lord a. Nehemiah rightly directed their focus back to the Lord who is great and awesome and to the things that were at stake if they yielded to the enemy, namely, their families. b. Nehemiah 4:14 says, “And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye

afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

IF WE LIVE WE LIVE FOR THE LORD By Reynaldo Rodriguez

“ If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” (Romans 14: 8) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5: 17) “I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another.” (Romans 15: 14)

“ In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (Romans 8: 26) If our relationship with God is the key to wholeness, why do so many believers struggle with their identity, security, significance, sense of worth and spiritual maturity? Ignorance is probably the primary reason. The prophet Hosea said, “ my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

“Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.” (Hosea 4: 6) These challenging words toward ancient Israel are filled with God’s revelation and serve as a warning to all of us in this modern contemporary world of the 21st century. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. For others it is carnality, the lack of repentance and faith in God, and some are being deceived by the father of

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

lies. In your past you may have done some evil things that were picture in the spiritual resume of your life, but does that means you are an evil person? Of course not, if you allow God to rewrite a new spiritual cover letter for you. Regarding this principle Jesus once said, “All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” (John 6: 37). As a direct result, the Holy Spirit conclude rewriting with love and grace the rest of your new spiritual resume with the forgiving reconciliatory tone of Jesus love: “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5: 32). You are not evil, is that how you see yourself? If that was the truth, you would have never be created by a Holy God who loves you. When we perceive ourselves as evil we are basing our identity on the wrong equation. We allow ourselves to be led astray into Satan’s accusations influencing our own perception instead of believing the truth. Sadly, a great number of Christians are trapped in the same downward spiral. We fail, so we see ourselves as failures, which only leads to more failure. We sin, so we see our-

selves as sinners, which only leads to more sin. We have been deceived into believing that what we do determines who we are. That false belief sends us into a tailspin of hopelessness and more defeat. On the other hand, the apostle Paul shares with us, “ I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” (Romans 7: 15 – 20). But don’t take my words for it, just believe God’s Words: “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” (Romans 8: 16). The only identity equation in your spiritual resume that works in God’s kingdom is you plus Christ equals wholeness and meaning. God wants us to know who we are so we can start living accordingly, “ For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,

and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.” (Colossians 2: 9 – 12). Being a child of God who is alive and free in Christ should determine what we do. Then we are working out our salvation not for our salvation, “Therefore, mydearfriends, as you have always obeyed— not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “ children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky”. (Philippians 2: 12 – 15) That is the recipe for your spiritual success as the new story of your spiritual resume unfolds, ebb, and web.

7 ADVANTAGES OF FASTING By Kimberly Hargraves

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

• Guidance: o advice or information at resolving a problem or difficulty; direction o I went on a fast to get the next instructions for ministry o Moses received revelation to write 10 commandments. Deuteronomy 9:9 says, “When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the Lord made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:” • Protection: o Defense, security, barrier, refuge o I went on a fast to vindication from my haters o King Darius Fasted so Daniel wouldn’t get eaten in theLion’sden.Daniel6:18says, “Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.” • Deliverance: o Beingrescuedorsetfree o I went on a fast to get delivered from fear o Isaiah 58:6 says, “Is not this the fast that I have

chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” o K i n g J e h o s h a p h a t didn’t get a breakthrough until after He fasted o 2 Chronicles 20:3 says, “And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.” • Hearing From God: o Allows your spiritual ears to be on the right frequency. o I live a fasted lifestyle constantly hear the counsel of the Lord o Elijah didn’t hear from God again until He fasted. 1 Kings 19:8-9 says, “8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?” • Favor: o Approval, goodwill, kindness, honor, preference o I went on a fast to get favor with people of influence

o Ester didn’t get favor with the King until she fasted. She could’ve been executed for approaching the King uninvited (Esther 4:11). Esther 4:16 says, “Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.” The Jews were saved and the plans of that wicked Haman didn’t succeed. • Answers To Prayers: o I went on a fast to get a financial breakthrough o Daniel fasted and prayed for understanding of a vision. Daniel 10:1-3 says, “In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.” After this fast, he had a visitation from Arch Angel Michael. He told Him the delay was because of the prince of Persia.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

• Overcome temptation o I fast all the time as a single to crucify this flesh so I can overcome the urge to commit fornication so I can continue to walk uprightly before the Lord. Fasting killed my desire for worldly things. The more time I spend with God, the more I care about spiritual things and the less I care about earthly things. o Temptation is a strong urge or desire that is pleasing to flesh which is bad, wrong, or unwise. It is an impulse, luring, drawing, seduction, enticement. o Matthew 4:1-2 says, “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.” Jesus had to overcome three things that 1 John 2:16 mentions, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” o Lust (desires) of the flesh. Jesus had to deny his hunger. Matthew 4: 3 says, “And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.” He fought back with the word. It is powerful to prayed the word of God while fasting. Matthew 4:4 says, “But he

answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” o The Lust (desires) of the eyes. Matthew 4:8 says, “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” Once again, he fought back with some word. Matthew 4:10 says, “10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” o The pride of life. Matthew 4:5-6 says,” Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” You have to fight temptation in the spirit. Jesus was in the spirit. He didn’t f ight the devil in his flesh by acting crazy. Matthew 4:7 says, “Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”

9 DYNAMICS OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH By Kimberly Hargraves

Dynamics means the process or characterized by constant change, activity, or progress. Growth means the development, maturation, blooming, and sprouting 1) Believers should spend time with the Lord daily a.

Don’t be so busy in

life. Put God first when we spend time with him. The more time we spend with God. The more you begin to care about what he cares about. b. Psalm 63:1 says, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”

c. We should be seeking God saying, “I just can’t get enough.” d. If we drink the water of Jesus, we will never thirst again. e. Jeremiah 2:32 says, “Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

number.” f. People will make time for what’s important. People make time to eat and to talk on the phone. g. People don’t forget to put on their accessories to make their outfit pop. Yet they forget about prayer and worship. h. We need to spend time in worship because we minister to God. We need to praise God because that’s the fruit of our lips. i. James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify yourhearts, yedoubleminded.” j. We need to keep our heart’s pure and hands clean. No sinful behavior. 2) Fast on a consistent basis a. It gives us power over demonic forces b. Matthew 10:1 says, “And when he had called unto him his twelve isciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.” c. Jesus even said we shouldfast.Mark2:20says,“But

the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.” d. Yokes will be destroyed such as lust and perversion. Your light will start to shine before men. e. Isaiah 58:6-9 says, “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward. Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;” 3)

Pray on a daily basis

JEDUTHUN: WHO IS HE? By Kimberly Hargraves

• His name means praising. He could be the musician Ethan who was named with Asaph and Heman. • 1 Chronicles 16:41-42 says, “And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord or sing praises to the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever; And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters (gatekeepers) or guarded the gates.”

• 2 Chronicles 35:15 says, “And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.” • He was David’s seer. Levitical musician of the family of Merari, • David wrote Psalm 39 for Jeduthun. Which is a psalm for wisdom, forgiveness, and lament.

• David wrote Psalm 62 for Jeduthun. Which is a psalm about trusting God. • Asaph wrote Psalm 77 for Jeduthun. Which is a psalm of a troubled believer. • He probably sung these psalms with his choir.

Thank you for your prayers. I was anxious and worried that God would not open a door leading to employment in my field and he did. God released 4supernatural favor and abundant blessings. Thank you for praying for my mom a couple of weeks ago (sending recording). She has no brain damage from the 5 strokes the doctors claim she had. She’s home and doing fine; taking it easy; eating healthy; taking meds to strengthen her heart. The periscope video blessed me this morning. I felt the Anointing during most of

your scope. Thank you so much. I’d never felt the fire of God upon me until I came across your ministry a few months ago and had you to pray over me. This is so exciting and I’m almost done with my book!!! (During the 2nd miracle call I attended a couple of months ago. God told you I was writing and to keep writing and to release it. My daughter Ruby has been healed of Issues of blood God blessed Nickie. She was worried about the possibility of being homeless and not having income. I

told her my testimony about what God has done for me and gave her a word that the Holy Spirit told me to tell her. Everything came to pass and God blessed someone to pay most of her bills for the month! God always takes care of His children. I am a living witness! Praise Report! Well I have fasted, prayed and stayed in my word like never before. The anxiety, frustration, confusion, self-doubt,imaginationofwhat it could have been, etc. is dissolving away. I am learning to let things go and watch God work it out on my behalf. And in doing this,

I can sleep better at night because I am not worried about the “why” questions. I can wake up in the morning and give God thanks for new mercies instead of looking at my phone for a text message. I can get through my work day without thinking of how to fix something that doesn’t want to be fixed. And the best part about it is I have more intimate time with Jesus. He is truly (yes I know you heard it over and over again) a heart fixer and a mind regulator. I know my God wants the Best for me and the Best I will receive!! Woman of God!!! This is on point. God told me to put our intercessors on a daily prayer challenge and the power of God has been so high in every service. I even work with a lot of Indians who worship 4other idols and the Lord told me to walk through and decree and declare every morning before anyone came in and the enemy is mad!! No weapon formed against us shall prosper!! Everything you said is exactly what I’ve been praying for and what other prophets have spoken. Thank you for your obedience. I did feel an intense fire in my hip. Not the first time I felt God’s heat, but the first time in my bones like that! When I received my prayer shawl, my chest warmed up and I held it to my chest. My hands are so warm. I just wanted to let you know that your prophesy of

48 hours has come to pass. You prophesied that I would get a phone call about the car. For the first time in 2 years, I was able to eat food (every bit of it) without pain, a headache or having to rush to the bathroom halfway through my meal. I’ve been fighting back tears all day because my Father heard my cries and he answered my prayers. I declared over my life a week ago that I would not live out the rest of the year or the rest of this month taking medication and living through my daily pain. Woman of God, you are the truth and I thank God for us crossing paths. This joy that I have right now, the world didn’t give it and I won’t allow the enemy to steal it from me. I am grateful and forever humble. I witnessed a miracle today and I’ve been talking about it ever since. Praise report!! My Fiancé text me out of the blue so the line of communication is open. Thanks for your prayers. I am in church at a church and one of the prophetess just said there’s an umbrella of rain. God is getting ready to release the open heavens. You just said this to me only but a few hours ago!! God, I trust you!! Today Brittany received the results from her blood work and it was normal. No more thyroid problems. God is so faithful. Today, I saw her really praise God. I knew she was healed and now I have it documented. Glory to God.

Praise Report!! God is so good. As I was driving, 3 deers came running across the road in front of my car. For some reason, I was driving slower than usual. I had enough time to break and not slam into them. God protected me. Glory!! I started to get a little discouraged but I encouraged myself in the Lord. I prayed with your prayer CD in the car and when I got home I got some of the oil you sent me and got on my knees to pray and I just kept praying for a quick turnaround. Throughout the night, I kept checking for good news. God heard me. I logged into my student account and the stops were still there. I decided to try and register for classes anyway and when I went to click the button to register for my classes, the computer let me. Normally, it would block me out!! But I was able to register! I give God praise! Because I would not have been able to graduate if I didn’t register today. Hello Woman of God. I just ordered two of your books. I am so excited. I can’t wait to read them. You prayed for me about a week ago. My God instantly the headache left when you told me stand. I also inbox you about a month ago asking for prayers regarding me traveling to my island. I know God is going to open doors. Thank you so much. I pray God continue to bless you in every area of your life. Peace

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY 2017

I thank God for healing in my shoulders. I was on this periscope or Facebook LIVE. I can’t remember which. I’ve had pain in my shoulders for the longest time. Through the power of God it’s gone! I declare and decree that my healing shall be permanent in Jesus Name. Thank you for allowing God to use you for His Glory. It shall be well with you. I have never felt so clean as I do today still 5 minutes to 6 pm. Thank you Prophetess Kim for the message today. It was amazing to hear my Father’s words as you prophesied over me. It was the most amazing beautiful love way down in my heart. I felt as if I was cradled in his arms. Hallelujah! The Lord has really been dealing with me Prophetess. Thank you for being obedient. In service today, the worship leader was exalting. Then she spoke about healing, “the Lord wants to heal your heart.” Immediately I knew. I just want to give him praise AGAIN! I felt that burning again. Oh God is awesome. He’s healing me. He’s really doing it! Wow! He’s showing he’s not a figment of my imagination! Whew! I am so out done!! September 21, 2014. You told me you had a vision of me and Andy fishing and embracing. I don’t know if I told you or not but our new house has a huge pond full of fish. Peace and blessings to you Woman of God. You

gave me a prophetic word from God earlier this month on your prayer call. You told me to expect something significant to happen in 3 weeks. You said God showed you a house while speaking to me. I shared with you that I have been trying to sell my home for the past two years. I also shared that I believe God gave me a selling price of ($160,000). I ended up dropping the price with the second realtor in the month of July to $147, 500 because she didn’t think it was wise to put the house back on the market after taking it off a couple of months for the same price. Nevertheless, the $160,000 still remains on my heart.
