today, I wonder! At times I even question the heart of the holy! Asking why is it ok to hand out that scrip-

ture when someone is going through rough times, shaky times, desperate times. Why is one person going through it and the other isn’t?

No more bravery!

Where is that scripture now? God teaches us to be wise? Is that what we’re going to use? My immune system is low? Really? The babies can’t be exposed!

No more victorious attitude!

The excuses go on and on and on.....

No faith!

Imagine, where is Psalm 23:4 now?

However, when something like a virus, called the Coronavirus (COVID19), hits the airwaves, the world is shaken!

And sadly, NO GOD! I’ve received an overwhelming amount of messages from scared people. The hardest part of these messages is......they’re all believers in The God of The Universe! People all over have quarantined themselves and their families due to this so-called deadly killer, without understanding that their Hope lives in the Heavens above. He created everything that has breath and can give life or take it away! Fate is in His hands alone! But that truth should only echo into Godly ears. Those that don’t know the Savior cannot possibly comprehend the Hope we are trying to reach.

Where is that scripture that we use every single time something happens to someone else? Closing churches? Oh, I can see satan’s face now! But sadly, I can feel God’s heart more! Watching His children run in flocks into hiding as if He isn’t there! As if He cannot provide for them or protect them. What happened to remembering Moses’ Egypt escape? Or Jobs tenfold blessings? What about Noah and the ark? Do we just forget all of that for a virus?

But how can we share that truth when we are stopping the chain that links our mission and ministry work in a world that has no Hope... No God, No Jesus?

I don’t know about anyone else, but I will not judge others about short skirts, satanic music, twerking, foul language, crude jokes, or anything else that the church finds comfort in teaching .....until I see the church standing firm believing that NOTHING can come against God’s will!

SPICY BOWL OF CHILI

2 cloves garlic, minced

10 servings

3 tablespoons chili powder

308 cals Ingredients 2 pounds ground beef

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 (16 ounce) cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, drained

Directions

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 2 onions, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in ground beef. Cook and stir until beef is crumbly,

evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 7 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease. Combine ground beef, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onions, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a slow cooker. Interviewer: We are so excited you accepted our invite. Prophet John Veal: I’m honored. Interviewer: Praise God! Let’s get into this. How did you know you were called to be a prophet? Prophet John Veal: I talk about it in my book, Supernaturally Prophetic. When I was a kid, I would tell my parents things about their past and future. My grandfather, father, and mother had the same gift, but the gift was not defined. Therefore we really did not know what it was, so we went through life telling people all of these things and did not know where it was coming from. When I got to college, I was able to tell my Christian friend after being officially saved at 19. I was telling my Christian friends about their past and present. They became afraid of me and started calling me the devil and all kinds of stuff. It was pretty bad. I ended up running away from Christianity. I left that college and finished up at home in Chicago. That college was in

North Carolina. Before I left, I had an experience with God. I heard the audible voice of God. It was a summer night. I had on shorts, a tee-shirt and gym shoes. I was with a friend of mine who had a BB gun and the gun looked real. He said he had been picked up by the police several times for having the gun because it looked real. Somehow or another, we were in the alley and I don’t recall if I asked him for the gun or he gave it to me, but I had the gun in my hand and we saw this dog. This was so wrong and I would not do any of this now, but we were playing and shooting the dog with the BB gun. The dog looked at us and took off running across the busy street. We begin to chase the dog. I was somewhat behind my friend running with the gun in my hand across the street, and all of sudden, I heard this voice directly in my ear. The voice said, ”Take the gun, put it in your shorts, and put your shirt over it.” I asked, “What?” because I could not believe what I was hearing. It was not like the Holy Spirit speaking to our

spirit and our spirit translating. It was an actual voice in my ear. Then the voice repeated, but this time it was with more urgency: “Take the gun, put it in your shorts, and put your shirt over it,” like a command. I said, ”Okay.” I am still running across the street, so I take the gun, put it in my shorts, and put my shirt over it, not knowing why. The dog ran into another alley. I was on one side and my friend was on the other side. All of a sudden, two motorcycles pulled up behind us and said, “Freeze and turn around.” When I turned around, they drew their guns. I put my hands up and they identified themselves as undercover detectives. They saw these two guys running across the street, and they had received a report of a robbery in the area. They saw us and thought we were the robbers. “No, I’m just home from school and on break. We were just chasing the dog,” I told them. The officer’s undercover detectives said to be more careful next time. They drove off into the night. When I got to my friend’s

house, I told him, “I heard a voice. If I didn’t obey, they probably would have shot us both because they thought the gun was real.” Interviewer: Wow! Prophet John Veal: It’s amazing how God would do that and save you. To make a long story short, that is what probably led me back from a backslidden stage. I was a backslider for the next 12 to 13 years. Interviewer: Yeah. Prophet John Veal: It started me on that road to let me know God had a purpose and plan for my life. Later on, I started to realize I was a prophet. I met an awesome woman of God by the name of Ruth Brown. I asked her if she thought she was a prophet. She said I was a mighty prophet of God. From that point on, I accepted it. That’s when everything changed. Interviewer: Amen. I heard you talk about Ruth Brown. Was that your spiritual mother? She wrote a book, right? Prophet John Veal: Yes, yes. She wrote a book called Destroying The Works Of Witchcraft Through Fasting and Prayer. She also wrote the foreword for John Eckhart’s book Prayers That Rout Demons. Interviewer: Oh wow! Ok, I didn’t know that. That’s interesting. I want to kind of backtrack because I think it’s so powerful just how God saved you and

how He kept you. That is so amazing to me! How was your salvation transition? Did you have an encounter or how was that encounter when you accepted Jesus into your heart? Prophet John Veal: Well, what happened was at 19 when I went to North Carolina Central University. I was kind of scared into salvation. The initial response to being saved was basically through fear. I shared this on Sid Roth’s show. We talked about it. He said he got saved the same way: it was a lot of fear. The love came later. At that time, around ‘85, in the Bible Belt, people were like you get saved or you are going to hell. I was afraid. The love came later on. I told you, I backslid for like 12 or 13 years after the incident with the gun. At the age of 32, I had an encounter. I read Mary K. Baxter’s book Divine Revelation of Hell. (Laughs) It was scary, so I read it in about a day or a day and a half. After I finished reading it, I got down on my knees and said, “Lord, I want you to come into my life and refill me with the Holy Spirit.” I am jumping ahead… After I read the book and I prayed that. The Lord said, “You need to make a decision. You really need to make a decision because if you don’t make the right decision, I’m going to take the protective hedge from around you.” And that meant, I got a revelation about it: the Lord allowed me to

live because of that hedge that was protecting me and keeping me. If taken away, I would be left to my own devices. I would live my life pretty much unguarded and unprotected by the Lord. So I said, “Lord, I chose You.” As soon as I said that, I felt refilled like a half-full cup of water just being poured into until it got full. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that was me being filled with the Holy Spirit. Interviewer: Amen! Prophet John Veal: So once that happened, everything changed. I was on the hook and I’ve been saved ever since.

God had a purpose and plan for my life. Later on, I started to realize I was a prophet. I met an awesome woman of God by the name of Ruth Brown. I asked her if she thought she was a prophet. She said I was a mighty prophet of God. From that point on, I accepted it. That’s when everything changed. Interviewer: Amen! That’s so powerful! I love how God gave you back what you needed to feel refreshed! I know you operate in deliverance heavily, and you cast out demons. How important is deliverance in a believer’s life? Prophet John Veal: It’s extremely important because that’s how people get free. What I see, and I still see it, I see people in the deliverance line for years. They would just be in the same deliverance lines. The same people dealing with the same demons, and it bothered me. I’ve seen people who were little off because they

had demons making them crazy and they’ve been like that as long as I’ve known them. So, my mom taught me something about it. I call it effective deliverance where you start to go for the chief demon, the general, or the head demon because if you get that chief demon out, the imps, or the lesser ranking demons that are attached to it, will go out with it. I talked about it on Sid Roth. It’s like a ball and chain analogy. The heavy ball would be the chief demon and the links and everything connected to it would be the imps and everything else. Usually, when a person is oppressed by demons or demons have gotten inside of them, it’s usually more than one demon that gets in, and they open the door for their friends and tell them to come on it. If I can get that chief demon out, that big ball, the other demons attached to it will go out as well. That’s what is called effective deliverance. If you go one by one by one, then what if they have a thousand demons? It would take a lifetime or a couple of lifetimes to get them totally delivered, so what’s important is to try and get that chief demon out, and then people can walk in total deliverance. Interviewer: Amen. I like what you said about effective deliverance because you go for the head and take the rest out. It is a very important strategy. Can you tell us a story about a deliverance encounter you had, like something you saw or

how God moved when it came to deliverance? Prophet John Veal: Yeah. There was one person, she had cancer, and I came against the spirit of cancer. I believe cancer is a demon. That’s where the prophetic combines and you will see when I tell you the story. I laid hands on her. I felt the fire of God just hit me, and then I felt it hit her. She just hollered, screamed, and fell to the ground because she had a tumor in her breast and it was cancerous. While she was on the ground, this is why I believe the prophetic and deliverance go handin-hand, the Lord spoke to me, and I spoke to her. I said, “When you go back to the doctor, they are not going to be able to find the tumor.” That’s what the Lord told me. When she got up, she was just dazed. It felt like the cancer left her and it was gone. Two weeks later, someone called me and said, “Guess what?” I said, “What?” They said, “The lady you laid hands on said she went back to the doctor and they said they couldn’t find the tumor. It’s gone. They could not find it!” What happened after that is so amazing! I knew God delivered her. I knew God got that cancer demon out or used me to get that cancer spirit out. From that day, it’s been maybe 15 or 16 years, she has been cancer-free ever since. Interviewer: Amen! Prophet John Veal: When

God heals you, or when He casts that cancer spirit out, you stay healed. As long as you are not still doing the same thing that allowed that spirit to get in, you’ll stay healed. That’s what I believe. When God does something in you, if He heals you, He heals you permanently. Jesus said, “Go. Sin no more, lest a worse thing comes upon you.” Sometimes we can go back into that same area where we picked up that sin or picked up that spirit and get it again because we don’t stop doing what we were instructed by God to stop doing. She has been healed ever since. To this day, she is

still healed. Interviewer: That is a good point. We can not go back and allow the enemy back in once he has been cast out. Prophet John Veal: Exactly. Interviewer: In your interview, you brought up a time when you were young. Was it a book or an object you had in your closet that opened up a portal? How can objects open up portals? Please explain. Prophet Veal: Yes! It is amazing. I was just having this conversation with someone who read my books and had a bad dream. The enemy was trying to fight them, and they were supernaturally delivered. When I talked to them, I explained in my books, there are spirits behind certain books. There are books written by witches, and many times they will curse the books and open you up to demonic activities. Other books you read that have strategies, plans, and teachings showing you how to overcome the demonic realms. Therefore the demons will fight and attack you in order to keep you from reading the book. I really did not understand it until it happened to me. I was reading a book and something jumped on me. At the time, I was a really young Christian. I had my wife read the same book and something sat on her. I took the book and

burned it up. I talk about this in my book. I burned it up in the bathtub and ruined the bathtub. My wife was not happy about that. (Laughs) I got rid of the book, but as I look back, in retrospect, it may have been because the enemy did not want me to read the book and wanted to scare me. I believe if you read a book and feel that you are being attacked, I feel more times than often, the attack is because the enemy does not want you to get the information or revelation within the book. I did not know that then. Now I can read books and it does not bother me, like Pigs in the Parlor by Frank Hammond and Ida Mae Hammond. I used to feel scared to read it. It felt like demons were around me. As I read it now, I believe it is one of the greatest books on deliverance. Many will begin to read books, like Pigs in the Parlor, and are not ready for that level of deliverance and the level of attack that comes along with it. The enemy does not want you to find out any secrets or strategies on how to defeat him. Therefore, he will fight you. I told the same thing to a man of God who was experiencing the same situation. He was glad to hear that because he had gotten a little scared. I informed him, “There are some disturbing stories. Before you read it, be ready, but I will show you how to be victorious and overcome the strategies of the enemy.”

Interviewer: Amen. How many books have you authored? Prophet John Veal: I have authored two books. One is published by Destiny Image and I have one coming out that I am going to self-publish. My third book is going to be on the prophetic. I am coming into the self-publishing idea because I can kind of write what I want to write instead of being confined to what they want me to write about. Interviewer: Ok, that sounds good and I know that you talked about war-

fare while you were reading a book. Have you ever experienced it when you started to write a book because I actually have been through bad warfare in trying to get books out? Prophet John Veal: Yes! Yes! Absolutely! With this last one, Supernaturally Prophetic, I had a little bit but it was nothing like Supernaturally Delivered. It was crazy. As I wrote the book, when I completed the book, and just all through it. What was so funny was, no it was not funny, but it was ironic, we went through so much hell that my wife was like,

“Well, you are writing the book. Why am I going through so much stuff.” I said, “We are one. When stuff happens to me, it will happen to you too.” The devil did not want people to read that book and that is how I knew it was anointed to help get people free. I have been getting a lot of testimonies to that fact. Even one woman who had read the introduction in the first chapter got some deliverance and another person wrote on Amazon how he was weeping while reading the book. He went through self-deliverance

I believe if you read a book and feel that you are being attacked, I feel more times than often, the attack is because the enemy does not want you to get the information or revelation within the book. and was set free. So it was really like Sid said on the show: “It is a freedom book.” A book that will help you get supernaturally delivered from things that really, really are attached and assigned to you and that are trying to make your life a living hell. There are prayers, prophecies, and decrees in the back of the book for the people to be able to say over their lives. Yeah, when you have something like that and you write a book based on deliverance or anything, it exposes the enemy. He is going to fight you, and that is how you know that it is anointed. Interviewer: Amen. That is really powerful. I have a book club and we are going to be reading your book in my club so we can get delivered. John Veal: Let me know

what you think. Interviewer: Yeah, we will write you a review too. We always read people’s books and drop reviews. That is something that we do. Prophet John Veal: I appreciate that. Interviewer: So how did you overcome the warfare because I know like for me, when the Lord started elevating me, I had witches come find me out of nowhere. I went to my P.O. Box and there was a death certificate in my P.O. Box. They were trying to hurt my husband and me and it was so crazy. I went through a python attack. It felt like one was wrapped around my neck for a week. So I had to fast, pray and worship. It was crazy. How do you overcome if you are going through like a python attack or you feel like you are having demonic attacks? Do you need to pray more or fast more or what do you need to do? Prophet John Veal: Yes, you need to do a couple of things. You need to pray more and fast more. It got in my wife’s spirit to take Holy Communion, even during this pandemic. There are different things that you do but again, when the enemy attacks like that, then you know that you are on the right track. When you start making the heretic list and the false prophet list, you know you are on the right track. You know you are elevating. Yeah! God is moving you to a higher

level because I believe with a greater level comes greater attacks. So really, it is a backward compliment from the enemy. That is what I call it because if the devil doesn’t do anything to you and everything is smooth, then you are really not disrupting hell. You are not effectively bankrupting hell if everything is just going well, so you have to be ready for these attacks. You have to be not bothered by them. I get to the point where it doesn’t bother me like it used to. I mean, it used to really bother me when somebody said something of this or that and the other. And that is what the devil wants to do. He wants to come and disrupt your peace, so he will have people doing what they did to you with the death certificate just to get things to kind of shake you up. But according to 2 Timothy 1:7, “God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind,” so I don’t get afraid when that stuff happens. I get encouraged and I say, “Ok, Lord, I must be doing something right.” So you have to press through because when you feel that resistance, you know that God is in whatever you are doing. When you feel the great level of resistance from the enemy, God is definitely in it, so we have to keep that in mind when we are writing, when we are preaching, and when we are ministering to people. Look at the resistance that you are getting. Look at how the devil is trying to stop you. When the

devil tries to stop you like that, you know that you have to keep pushing and going forward. So it is very important not to quit, not to give up, and not to let fear get to you so you won’t stop doing what you are doing. You keep pressing on because God is behind you, pushing you. Interviewer: Amen! Amen. You touched on something about your wife taking daily Communion during this pandemic. So what are the benefits of taking Communion daily and also what is your perspective on this pandemic? Prophet John Veal: You know with Communion, it is kind of funny because I kind of laughed about it and asked her, “Are you serious? Come on.” I believed that she got a revelation from God because I started reading more people taking Communion. I didn’t totally understand it, but my spiritual mother, Ruth Brown, used to always do that with me. She said, “Son, let’s take Communion,” so I believe that it just brings you in remembrance of what Jesus Christ did for you personally on the cross and it always brings Jesus into mind. He said, “Do this in remembrance of Me,” so I believe that sometimes with all the hell that we are going through, especially right now with the coronavirus, we need to keep our minds stayed on Jesus Christ. When you do take Communion, you are thinking about

Him and getting other things off of your mind. I believe you start to get, not that you have lost it, but you start to really realize that you have the mind of Christ and we are overcomers, just as they did in Egypt when the Israelites put the blood on the doorposts. The death angel and the destroyer passed by. As we remember that, it brings those types of things to mind, so that is why it is so important even during this COVID-19 pandemic we keep the blood on the doorposts so that the death angel will pass on by us. I believe that Psalm 91 is an effective weapon against the COVID-19 and I tell people that you need to learn it by heart and memorize Psalm 91 and speak it over yourself and your family daily. It is a Psalm of protection. I know that Sid Roth and other people are really advocating this right now. I truly believe that it is anointed Psalm that will cause the death angels to pass us by. I believe that as we remember that, it brings these types of things to mind, that’s why it’s so important. Even though this COVID-19 pandemic, we need to keep blood on the doorpost so the death angel will pass us. And so, not only that, I believe that Psalm 91 is an effective weapon against COVID-19. I also believe it is in your decree. You have to start decreeing some things over your family and you do it in line with

Job 22:28 says if you decree a thing, it is established. I do believe that the decree of the saints will be established. I believe if we come against this COVID-19, it will pass by our homes. We also need to pray for those who have been affected already, the sick. We need to keep them in our prayers, those who are furloughed or lost their jobs, we need to keep them in prayer. We need to lift up the healthcare workers. We really need to pray a hedge of protection or decree a hedge of protection around all of those who are in the front lines. I do believe that this

will pass us over and it will begin to line up with the Passover. It will start to pass, start to break, start to flatline, and start to dissipate. I just believe soon it will start to go down in numbers and it’s gonna turn around. That’s what I believe. Interviewer: Amen! I can’t wait! Prophet John Veal: It’s

gonna get worse before it gets better. I think it will start to flatten and we will come to some normalcy. Probably within the next couple of months. Interviewer: Amen! So do you think it’s judgment? I heard it was 5G and then the judgment. Prophet John Veal: I’ve heard the 5G thing too, but I don’t think it’s judg-

ment. I don’t feel that it is. I’ll say it like this, every 20 years we get something. Something happens to the world that’s crazy. out of Wuhan, China, and kind of went around the world. Look at the flu. The flu kills thousands of people a year, so it’s very, very similar. I don’t believe it’s God’s judgment and I don’t believe God is trying to punish us. I don’t believe that. I believe this came straight from the pits of hell and we need to come against it as a spirit, which it is. I look at it like God loves us, and He loves us more than we can comprehend. He loves us even more than we can love our own children. I don’t believe God has to put something upon us to teach us a lesson. If that makes sense? I don’t believe God is a cruel God. A lot of prophets didn’t know about this. I didn’t know about it. I didn’t know about the pandemic. I wrote a post on April 19 about health and family members getting healed and all that, but it was for that month and then someone reposted it. It sounded a lot like April now coming against sickness and ailments in the family and all these things. God can show you things and you may not always understand it or miss the timing of things, but I believe it’s of the enemy and it was meant to take us out because saints are dying. Pastors are dying. I do think you reap what you sow. If you are doing crazy stuff, like if you are a pastor and doing things ungodly, hey, it might be a reaping of what you sow. I do absolutely believe that things can come upon people because they have done crazy stuff before,

but I don’t feel like it’s judgment and the world is about to end. I just don’t believe that. Interviewer: Amen, so what was one miracle God did that blew your mind? Prophet John Veal: There was a woman who came to our church. She was blind and could not see. I prayed for her to be able to see and I think within a couple of minutes, she was able to see. Her sight was returned. She did not return to the church. I do not know what happened to her or if she lost her vision again. She would never come back to the church. Many times when you do healing, God will give you instructions. God will tell you things not to do anymore. It might be food or God will give you a different diet. Some people get healed and they do not want to follow the instructions given. Sometimes that thing can come back on them worse than before. I have seen people where I have warned them about death. I warned one young man… This is an interesting story. I believe it’s in my book Supernatural Prophetic. I prophesied to him and told him to stay away from guns and watch your friends. He was about 22 or 23 years old. He told me, “I do not hang with anyone like that. I do not know what you are talking about.” He joined the church then left the church. I did not hear from him for a couple of years. Later I received a letter

from him stating, “I know you are a true prophet because you told me to stay away from guns and watch my friends. One night a friend of mine called me over to his house and I went. Three guys jumped out to rob me and I shot all three of them dead.” I found out that his friend set him up to be robbed and now he is in prison for 40 years and he is only 20 years old. This bothers me because when you warn people, sometimes God will give you things you do not understand. Looking at the kid, he was a good, clean-cut kid and was not into gangs, but that is what I saw and I had to tell him. It was a warning and he did not adhere to the warning. That is why it is so important when you get prophetic instruction to heed, especially if it is

a proven prophet who is pretty accurate. I always tell people you should only have two to three prophetic voices in your life because so many people go to all of these prophets to get a word and find out things. They end up more confused than they started off. I call them false doors. This information came from a conversation between Dr. Paula Price and myself. False doors are when we obtain information from five different prophets. The first prophet tells you are a psalmist. The second prophet tells you are a prophet. The third prophet says you are a pastor. The fourth prophet says you are an apostle. The fifth prophet says you are not of the five-fold. Which

one do you believe? You can pick the best one or the one you like. No, you have to get two or three proven prophets. I have two or three that will speak into my life. Usually, they say the same thing and it is so amazing because they do not know they say the same things. They are accurate prophets that hear from God. I felt lead to tell you this. It is very important to receive solid prophetic voices in your life. Interviewer Amen. This is good. You are right in the flow because I was going to ask you when does a person know when they are hearing the voice of God? Prophet John Veal: You have to get used to hear-

ing the voice of God. I tell a lot of people God spoke to me and spoke to my spirit. He said, â&#x20AC;&#x153;I am talking to my people and they are not listening,â&#x20AC;? and what I discerned from that is a lot of times when we pray, we are so busy talking. We are not taking the time to listen. If you have an hour to pray nine times out of ten, people will speak in tongues all through the prayer and never give God the chance to speak to them. I tell them when you pray for an hour, take 15-30 minutes to listen to tune yourself to the voice of God. Then you will start to know that it is really the voice of God speaking. Many times you will get confirmation. Every prophetic word are not confirmation, sometimes

you have to hear for the first time. Everyone saying confirmation. A lot of times they are saying “confirmation” because they have heard the word before but have not done it yet. They have not done what God has told them. That’s why you keep hearing the same word over and over again, saying that’s confirmation. For example, you keep hearing a word about a business. If you get confirmation, it’s because you haven’t started the business, you haven’t done what God has told you to do about the business. You have to tune yourself to the voice of God. In reference to prophets, you have to tune yourself to God’s voice to know who’s speaking to you. There’s a lot of voices that contend for your attention. I say there are three voices that speak to you: the sheep, the Shepherd and

the stranger. The sheep is yourself or other people. The Shepherd is God. The stranger is the enemy. So those are the people who are contending for your attention every day. In the old times, they had angels on one shoulder and the devil on the other. The devil would be speaking in your ear telling you to do wrong. An angel on the other shoulder was telling you to do right. That’s pretty much how it is with those voices. You have to learn to discern those voices. You have to know who’s talking to you. When I hear a prophet speaking to me prophetically, nine times out of ten, I know if it’s God or not. I know the voice of God or God will confirm it. Sometimes I feel a holy ghost chill or an inner witness to what they’re saying. My other two prophets friends told me the same thing. So really, you know it starts to make sense to me. That is why I just limit how many people prophesy into my life. Not just saying that I just discard prophecies, but I have had people come prophecy and ‘prophe-lie’ to me. I mean, it has been just lies and I don’t think they know it or realize it. They just want to prophesy. It is not really God speaking to them and urging them to do it. It is not God. You can sense it, and you can pick it up. Interviewer: Amen, that makes sense because if you are going somewhere and they want to con-

nect. They want to assist you, but their motives are probably not right and they want you to speak into their life. Prophet John Veal: Yes. I have had that and I am sure you have had it too where they come and they just want to try to give you a word to try to get an opportunity. They want to come preach at your church or impress you some type of way through Facebook. Sometimes I respond and sometimes I don’t even respond because I know that this is not from the Lord. Yeah, you know or an open door. That is why I don’t like it when people do that or when they just prophesy to people to open doors to try to preach and minister and I don’t think that is God either. Interviewer: Right. Yes, I agree. Just wait on God. Amen. Prophet John Veal: Yes. Wait on God. That is right! Interviewer: I know a lot of people, again we are talking about open doors and connecting. They want to connect with someone because they have a name and they want to connect and they say such and such is their spiritual father. How do they know who their spiritual parents are, their mother or father, in the faith? Prophet John Veal: Well, I believe that they will find them if that makes sense. It won’t be a person coming to you telling

you that they are your spiritual daddy or I am your spiritual mother. I believe when people say that, they are usually not so if that makes sense. If they come to you and say the Lord told me that I am your spiritual daddy, usually they are not. What happens is that you will find them because God will put them in your path. They will know and they will not say anything about it. You won’t say anything about it and you will just know. That is what happened with Ruth Brown. I mean, I just knew as I talked to her and she is the most anointed woman that I have ever seen. This woman would pray for people after having surgery and going through all kinds of chaos. She always would think about other people. In fact, she delivered a vampire. A vampire reached out to her and she got him delivered. I believe that he is a minister of the Gospel. But with she and I, we were just talking and that is when I just reached out and asked if I was a prophet because I respected her so much. After just having the conversation, I just said to her that she was my spiritual mother and she said, “You better make sure you know what you are saying because I am a tough taskmaster.” She told me that and I said, “No, you are my spiritual mom.” She was tough but just as tough as she was very loving. She would get on to you and she was one that taught me that when people pray for you to listen. She was pray-

ing for me one day and I was saying, “Amen. Amen,” and she said, “Be Quiet!” I was quiet and she said, “Whenever someone prays or prophesies over you, listen to every word that they say. You listen to every word that they are saying because a person could loose a thousand demons into you and you are so busy saying, ‘Amen,’ and speaking in tongues and hollering and stuff. You are not hearing everything,” so I learned to listen. I just knew and God will put them in your path, but again it wasn’t because of notoriety or it wasn’t because of who she was and it is the same with Apostle John. When I asked him about being my apostle, I just knew and it was like God spoke to me. I had reached out to him because someone told me a prophecy about connecting with Apostle John. That was in 2011, and I was like, “That is stomping with the Big Dogs,” and she was like, “No, you are a Big Dog too.” She said that it was going to happen and that, “Y’all will not be super close, but you will be connected.” So I was like, “Ok,” and I think that I reached out to him. I didn’t hear from him and then I was just doing a time of prayer and the Lord told me to reach out again. I said, “Lord, I have reached out already.” You know how you can be stubborn and you are saying what you won’t do, but God is telling you otherwise. So after a while, I reached out to him again

So, yeah, I believe that you get the inkling from the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will confirm in your spirit that this is the right person because again, it is just like someone saying that they want to preach in your conference or inviting themselves to preach in your conference. It is the same thing with spiritual parenthood. Those people that say that they are your mother or father are usually not. God will lead you to the right person and they will know and you will know because it will just be a connection. Interviewer: Fear is running rampant and people are afraid to die and things like that. Can you give any

last words of encouragement on how not to fear? Prophet John Veal: Yeah, I would encourage people not to bow to fear. Fear is a spirit. As I mentioned before, 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.” So I believe fear to be a spirit, a demon, and I believe it can be rebuked. I would encourage people to rebuke the spirit of fear, walk in the power of love, power, and a sound mind. It’s very important because fear’s job is to make you believe something that may or may not be true. A lot of people are fearful of things that probably will never happen. I link fear to worry and that is something that we do a lot. A lot of people worry about getting COVID-19. Now I’m not saying don’t protect yourself. I’m not saying be Superman or be like these people who dance with snakes believing that the snakes won’t bite them and they bite them and they end up dying. We must not bow down to fear and give fear any place inside of us or around us because God is greater than COVID-19. I believe we should be speaking Psalm 91 over our lives, over our families’ lives, over the doctors, the people on the front lines, as well as those who have already been affected. Those that have been furloughed and those that are unemployed. That’s what we need to be praying about: a hedge of protection over them,

strength to them, prosperity to them, because God will see us through this. The devil is a liar and the devil is already defeated. I believe that the winds of God will blow the coronavirus right out of here and in God’s time. Hallelujah! And I do believe God is moving even now. He’s encouraging. This will cause a breakthrough. This will cause people to run back into the church like never before. This can be a wake-up call for a lot of causal saints: saints that don’t come to church every Sunday and are not serious about their salvation. We as saints, when we die or we pass, we know where we are going. We are going to glory. The thing about it is we gotta keep that in mind and know that God is still on the throne and Corona will not kill us and will not defeat us or take us all out of here. It’s not going to take us out and we have to really be cognizant of that. But, we have to keep our minds on Christ and keep reading the word, keep studying Scripture, and keep speaking Psalm 91 over our lives. We will get through this and I speak a prophetic wind to blow this thing out of here in the name of Jesus, in God’s perfect timing. We will be better even afterward because a lot of times, breakthroughs come after the storms. With this storm, I believe Godly breakthroughs and Godly revivals will happen after this thing has blown away or blown over. Interviewer: Amen, that’s

so powerful, I feel the anointing on that. How can we apply the wisdom of God to our lives? Prophet John Veal: Umm, well, I think when we get the wisdom of God, it’s really from listening to God. Just like I told you, Ruth Brown told me to listen. I believe that’s how we get the wisdom of God. When we sit down and meditate on the word of God, just to listen, not saying anything before the Lord, just saying Lord, I want to listen to what you’re saying. write it down, that gives us wisdom. When I write books, I try to really listen to what God is saying and write down what God is saying. Write down His wisdom so it’s not my wisdom and I ask the Lord to speak through me and to use me to speak to other people. When we talk about the anointings on my books, that’s not my personal anointing. That’s God’s anointing. That’s what I asked for. I said, “God anoint these pages. In fact, whatever is wrong in me,” because no one is perfect, “whatever my faults are, even my sins.” I may sin and not even realize it. “I don’t want it in the book. I don’t want any of me to be in the book. I just want your oil to be upon it. I want your

effectiveness.” Another name for the anointing is effectiveness. You know something is anointed if it’s affecting and doing what God called it to do.
