TESTIMONIES: LET’S GIVE THE DEVIL A BLACK EYE!

When we share our testimonies, our faith increases! We start to believe God for the impossible! We can see the power and the hand of God in any situation. God can turn any test into a testimony! We know if God did it before, he can do it again. Our Testimonies glorify God!

Prophetess! Last night on the Prophetic Miracle Call, I was hit with something that caused the top half of my body to shake. Today, I’m already seeing the fruit of your prophecy. Today, I had a few things to do but around 11:10 am and I started to feel the fire of God on my arms and it felt heavy, so I headed home. I made it to my prayer room. All I could do was pray in my heavenly language. I began to cry, and the fire

increased. Finally, after about 50 minutes or so, the burden left. Then I felt the desire to re-listened to the call. I went and checked to see if it was uploaded. It was, so I began to listen to it. Again when I go to the part where you said you were going to blow on me, my entire body, not just my hands, shook, and I felt like I gravitated off the bed. I feel so full and at peace. There is no confusion. Thank you for being obedient and

letting God use you.—Zolisha Hey, I enjoyed the 12:00 pm prayer. Thanks for inviting me. When you said, “The person fighting other people’s battles that God didn’t put me in,” that was for me. Also, the part about being in the season to get deeper into the word. Glory to God! I had gotten used to feeling like I was supposed to overload my life with helping

others instead of getting rest. I didn’t even know how to enjoy peace. I got clarity. I will be joining you guys a lot more often.—Anonymous After the 12 o’clock prayer ended, I felt free again. Thanks for keeping the noon calls going.--Melissa Hey Sis! I wanted to tell you what happened on the call today! I have some kiddos home sick today and had to tend to them. During the deliverance session, I could not stop yawning. I was fine before, not tired. Then you started calling stuff out, and I just kept yawning, praising God! I was coughing stuff out. God is doing something. I believe it’s with fear. Thanks for your obedience and all the time you spend with us each day praying. Blessing to you and your family.--Malisa I’m not sure what just happened to me on your call. I’m at work so I came outside. I got in my truck. You told us to put our hands on our bellies and I repeated after you. The next thing I know, my right arm starts to move and my palm is on fire. I feel like I’m about to pass out. Then my entire body begins to shake like I was having a seizure. Then I just laid out. I felt something lay on top of me and I heard in a small voice, “Here daughter.” To be honest, I could feel and hear but couldn’t completely see what it was, but I perceived it was Jesus. The next thing I know, I must have blacked out. I heard your voice and I came to and I’m half off the seat. The blood was rushing to my head, so I sat up. I don’t know what just happened, but I felt drunk in God and so light. I still haven’t gotten out

the car but needed to record this. —Anonymous Hello Prophetess Kimberly, my name is Angela and I was on the prayer call this am, and I asked for prayer of my left leg being longer than right leg. You told me to sit down, so I sat on the couch with legs resting on the couch. When everyone began to pray, I saw my right leg moving downward. I had already had a podiatrist appt today because I was having issues with my legs and making my hips hurt. Well, I went to my appt today and the podiatrist came into the room and examined me, he said that it is hardly even noticeable with the length now, the difference of the length has been 1.1 cm but today after prayer this am it is 1/16 of a difference. I told him that I had gotten on the prayer line today and I was healed with the prayer. Also, he said my x-rays of my feet looked good, didn’t find any arthritis of any kind. He said that he didn’t see where I needed an insert in my shoes. I don’t have any pictures of my feet before prayer, but here are some pictures I took will sitting in the examining room. I give God the glory for the healing, because I have had these problems since 2011. Thank you Lord for the healing. Lord you are worthy of the praise. Praise God I am healed!! During the worship at my conference, “Empowering The New Me” God gave me a miracle mantle! He spoke to me, “I’m placing a miracle Mantle upon you. There’s someone here whose leg is shorter than the other and I want you to grow it out!” Immediately, I felt a Mantle

being placed on my shoulders in the spirit. My shoulders began to get heavy. When worship was over, I spoke exactly what God gave me to say. A lady came forth. We commanded her leg to grow and it shot out as it grew evenly with the other leg. The crowd was in awe of God and praises erupted. I had another lady testified of what she witnessed to silence the spectators. Blessings Prophetess, I’m home from attending the “Empowering The New Me Conference.” Thank you for all the information. I’m empowered! – Stacy Sis, when you prayed for me, it was hot! I felt a weight being placed on me. I’m like thanks a lot sis. We already know to whom much is given much is required. Then I dreamed this morning a prophet said, “Ask God what is the cup about you concerning the King.” I’m like I don’t know. When Jesus saw His cup, he started sweating blood. – Melody I arrived home safely from after I attended the “Empowering The New Me Conference.” Thank you Prophetess for pouring out into us. Keep representing the holy remnant of God.

ARE YOU CALLED TO BE A KINGDOM HANDLER OF MAMMON PART II Candace G. Carson

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

In the last article that God enabled me to write for Rejoice Essential Magazine, on the topic of “Are You Called to be a Kingdom Handler of Mammon,” some light was shared on the general mission of the believer who is either called to the marketplace or called to monetary wealth of some kind. My first article talked about how being prepared for wealth, includes becoming a disciplined tither and giver. In this article I’m led to take the concept a bit deeper. I’m going to ask you the reader, a very direct question, and I humbly request that you brace yourself for the question. (Of course, there is no way that I can hear your answer anyway! Your answer is between you and God.) Ok, ready?! Here goes: When you see homeless people on the street, do you look at those people and feel absolutely nothing? Do you pass by homeless people on the street and feel no sympathy or empathy? Are you desensitized to the blaring needs of those who are homeless, widows, sick or otherwise in desperate need? If God blessed you with one million dollars, can you honestly say that you would literally write a check for 10% or more of that into the church that you presently attend or ministry that is feeding you

spiritually?

else.

Here is an even more complex question that I challenge you to answer honestly to yourself: If given the choice, would you rather have 1000 Louis Vuitton bags or 1-5 Louis Vuitton bags and the ability to purchase hundreds of homeless people or single mothers some food or groceries? Do you desire luxury items at all? Are you desensitized to the needs of the world around you or do you notice them all the time? (Matthew 22: 36-40)

Does God (LOVE) want us to be receivers of HIM (LOVE) for ourselves? OF COURSE! Does God (LOVE) want us to have abundance, plenty, and all of our needs and even those desires He’s given to us? OF COURSE! Yet, GOD (LOVE) doesn’t want us to be so consumed with self and things that we don’t even notice the pain and suffering of others!

In my personal opinion, I don’t believe I have the right to tell anyone else what to do with the finances that God blesses them with and that they earn or otherwise inherit. I do believe, however, that what we desire in the first place reveals a lot about who we are and what we care about and what we value, and that heart attitude is a revealer of whether or not we are ready to be a ‘kingdom handler of mammon.’ Please understand that I’m in no way, shape, or form promoting legalism. You and others can certainly do with your money whatever you choose to do with it. What I am led to share is that God who IS LOVE, not who has LOVE, and can really work through the vessel of a wealthy believer when the believer values what God values, and God values people more than anything

We see that sort of person around us every day! Have you ever walked down a crowded sidewalk in a major city where there were homeless people? Did you notice that perhaps the majority of people simply walked by, almost as if they didn’t notice? Or almost as if homeless people (just as an example) are sidewalk decorations? It happens every day! Brother and sisters, this is the world that we reside in temporarily. In the world that we reside in, ‘Christians’ are seen as being just as greedy for money and selfish and wealthobsessed as those who are unbelievers, and while that’s unfortunate, it is also partially TRUE in many cases. I’m certainly not saying that every time you or I see a homeless person on the street that we are obligated to empty our pocketbooks. That could or could not be a foolish and unwise thing to do. It depends on how Holy Spirit leads you

9

10

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

in a given circumstance. I believe in decency and order. I believe in philanthropy as both a compassionate act and a structure. I believe that there is safety under the umbrella of an organization.

donate that bag if God (LOVE) asked you to? Or would you only purchase cheap bags for those you plan to donate to? Do you GIVE as good as you expect to GET? (Matthew 22: 36-40)

I also know what it’s like to feel unseen by others, and it’s the most horrible feeling in the world. (I was homeless with my family for two years as a child, so I’m speaking from experience.)

According to our Holy book, rain falls on the just and the unjust. Wealth in the earth is distributed to both unbelievers and believers. Yet the believer ought to at the very least have the heart of God. If the heart of the one with faith is just as carnal and self-obsessed as it was before it was born again, what value does the Kingdom of Heaven or God (LOVE) get by adding wealth to this person?

What I am saying is that when we exist as a Christ follower in the earth, we understand that our home is in Heaven and that in this earth we are Gods (LOVE’s) hands and feet! Wherever we show up, GOD (LOVE) wants to show up in us, not just for us, but for those around us in our sphere of influence. God (LOVE) doesn’t NEED us to get the plan done. God (LOVE) invites us to partake! God (LOVE) invites us to live at a higher level, to live better, to live wholly, and wholly for Him , for when we LIVE for LOVE, everything else gets taken care of. It’s just fine to have a Louis Vuitton bag, but the Louis Vuitton bag shouldn’t have you. It’s awesome to have plenty of money, but your money shouldn’t have you. Here’s an example litmus test. If you would buy yourself a Louis Vuitton bag, would you

WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPLE THING Kimberly Moses

Today’s scriptures for meditation: Proverbs 2:6-7 says, “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.” God wants His children to receive everything that they can from Him. Part of that everything includes wisdom. God knows everything and will never lead us astray because He is the spirit of truth. He knows what doors we should walk through and what doors we should avoid. When He speaks a word, we should listen

and obey. Once we yield to Him, He will pour out an extra measure of wisdom called “sound wisdom.” This wisdom is supernatural and causes breakthrough, provision, protection, and insight in many areas. You might not understand why God may prevent you from doing certain things but it’s for your protection because He is your buckler. For years, I wanted to launch a mentorship program but the timing was never right. I got remarried. I had a couple of preaching engagements. I had an ordination service. I was a vendor at several con-

ferences. All of these things were in addition to me being a mother, wife, spiritual mother, publisher, and an author. When I felt the time was right, God said, “Wait!” Then He explained why. Sometimes, we have great ideas but it’s just not the right season. When it’s the right timing, God will pour out His blessings upon it and give you wisdom to walk in the season. Wisdom will cause you to wait on the timing of the Lord. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me instructions for my life. I pray that I will always obey them. Lord, bless me to be in your timing. Many times, I may have a great idea but I want to make sure that you approve of it and that I am in your will. Lord, bless me with sound wisdom so I can know what to do in every situation. Thank you, Lord, for giving me prophetic insight about things. I pray that you bless my heart with knowledge and understanding, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TRUST TALK Keiyia JOYet George

Day 88: I trust you, Lord. Living in peace. John 15 and 16 Today is the day you will stop blaming God for what you have decided to do. It’s not His fault you are having hardships, issues, or tribulations. Some of it is because you chose to do contrary to what His spirit has guided you to do. Another is because you live in this world. Yes, His word says you will have tribulations, but with Him, you will remain in perfect peace. Jump right into the word. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If

ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. John 15:17-20 Often you may have read this and thought that Jesus was simply saying “love one another” or, in other words, love everyone. In chapter 15 and 16, He was speaking to His disciples. He is telling them they (followers of Christ) are all they have.

They need to stick together and help one another out. Why? Because the world will hate them, persecute them, kill them, and the like because they are not of the world. The world will FOREVER be against you. They were against Christ, they will be against you as a follower a Christ. Don’t let this turn you away. Keep reading and you will see what He has for you to help you in this world. This world is NOT the home for the righteous of Christ (Hebrews 13:14; 1 Peter 2:11-12). If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. John 15:22

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

People are upset with you because your righteousness is showing them up! Jesus said before He came and corrected people, the temple priest (leaders and so-called believers today) didn’t realize they were sinful. Father sent Him to Earth and it uncovered their sin and showed them up. Their pride made them hate Him. If He’d just stayed in the Kingdom, they would still be doing their mess proudly, and now they have been shown up. You know what they eventually did to prove their ‘righteousness’: they nailed Him to the cross, not knowing that they were doing exactly what they were supposed to do. Jesus who was pure was hated. He was often in combative situations. He was thrown at, spit on, beaten, persecuted, and every other vile thing you can think of. Did God allow this? No! Jesus chose to go through it. He did this so that He could show you how to persevere through your hardships (and for your salvation), and if you know anything about the spirit of God, you would also know that Jesus had Spirit with Him at all times. When He left this world, it allowed for the Spirit to come for you and provide you the same comforting to go through whatever this

world (who was bred just to come against believers) throws at you. These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? John 16:1-5 ‘These things have I spoken to you…’ Jesus starts with. What things? The things mentioned in His dialogue previously. He was telling them these things so that they will be aware that it will happen. Many people will come against you claiming to do it in the name of God, but they are liars! They, like the temple priest of His time, did it for their own prideful reasons. It has, and never will have, anything to do with God. They are following the leading of their lying father, Satan, and trying to convince themselves that

what they are doing is right. Jesus didn’t tell them before that He was to leave them because he was their comforter. He had all the power to showed restraint and peace. He was a living testimony of how they should behave now that He was about to return to Father, but He wasn’t going to leave them comfortless. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. John 17:8-11 And that, dear one, is a ‘HOT DOG!’ moment. He comforted them and sent a comforter for those who follow Him. The comforter is Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is such a wonderful friend to have because He can get you through anything the prince of this world (Satan) throws at you. Did you get that? ANYTHING! There is nothing the people of this world can do to you! NOTHING!

15

16

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

Jesus has already overcome the world. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 17:33 If you would follow the teaching of Christ Himself, you will have peace. Yes, in this world, if you choose to follow Him, you will have tribulation, but this world isn’t your finally stopping place. You have more to your story when your eyes have closed for your final sleep. When you are awakened by the trumpets for judgment, you will then know what it was all for. The Peace He sent when He went away is still here. He promised you that with Spirit, you will have joy and peace (plus some other things). This is a promise! Can you trust that when things get hard that His Peace will encapsulate you? Can you trust that when things look drab, He has already prepared a way of escape for you (1 Corinthians 10:13)? Jesus was and will always be the Way (John 14:6). There is nothing too big for Him to handle. You just have to hone into what Spirit is saying and go where He sends you and do as He

leads you. Trust Him and watch you breeze through any situation the world throws at you to make you stumble. Sweet peace is mine, Keiyia JOYet George Trust Walk: Walking in His Steps coming soon!

PASTOR ANDREW TOWE Interviewed by Kimberly Moses

Interviewer: I’m really excited that you accepted our request to do the interview. We have been following your ministry. God is really using you. You are a blessing to the body of Christ. Pastor Andrew Towe: Praise God, I’m honored to do it. I’ve been following you guys. Interviewer: I saw that you are under Apostle Ryan Lestrange’s ministry. I saw your article in Elijah List, “Full Speed Ahead.” That was really wonderful how God gave you that word when it started pouring down rain. That really blessed me. Pastor Andrew Towe: Yes. The Lord speaks to us in many different ways. My wife went to a birthday party. When she came home she was drenched. She and the kids were drenched. I asked what happened. She said, “We were out there. It was beautiful. Giuliana was out there at the lake swimming. Out of nowhere came a downpour.” When she said that, I went up and started praying. The Holy Spirit said,

“This is exactly what I am going to do in the Spirit.” It doesn’t look like it but one day there is coming a suddenly that will open up the heavens and pour out blessings that we don’t have room enough to contain. Some of us have been contending for years and it will just be a sudden thing that happens. I just love it when the Lord speaks to us. I’m sure she didn’t like getting rained on but I got a great revelation out of it. Interviewer: Lol. Amen. That word was for me because I’ve been contending and laboring so I receive that word. Pastor Andrew Towe: Yes. I had a word published recently on Elijah List and it was a vision that I had of a volcano. The Lord spoke to me. Volcano lays dormant for generations sometimes. Then out of nowhere, it begins to explode. The Lord showed me an explosion that was taking place. The fiery lava began to eat up all the barriers and began to occupy everything that was trying to block its way. God

said that was what He is doing right now in this season. There is going to be an outbreak. It happened because I had so many families in my church calling and texting. They said, “Please pray. My whole family is sick. We have the flu.” The Holy Spirit spoke to me saying, “There is an outbreak.” Immediately, I began to rebuke the devil. I began to declare that we are whole. I had a negative connotation for it. He said, “Listen to me. Go look up the word outbreak.” So, I went to go look it up. It means a sudden occurrence. Something breaking out. He said, “That is what I’m doing. The enemy is trying to counterfeit what I am doing in the spirit. What I am going to do is there is going to be an outbreak of miracles. You begin to decree and declare this: There’s an outbreak of miracles. There’s an outbreak of revivals. There’s an outbreak of resources.” Then He showed me a vision of a volcano erupting. Out of nowhere, the blessings of God are going to come and overtake us. When He begins to

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

erupt or when there is an outbreak of His glory, it can’t be stopped or blocked. It doesn’t matter who is against you. It doesn’t matter who doesn’t want it to happened or what they say. When God says I am ready for that sudden eruption or that outbreak to happen, it’s going to happen. So, that’s really what’s been rolling around in my spirit the last few weeks. Interviewer: My God. Amen. Yes! That’s so powerful because I feel the fire of God on that word. I receive that Lord! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Pastor Andrew Towe: C’mon. Hallelujah! Interviewer: How did you get started in ministry? I was watching one of your videos from your church on YouTube. I know you were in ministry since you were eight years old. Pastor Andrew Towe: My parents were pastors. I got filled with the Holy Ghost when I was four years old. I know some people think that’s too young. We were actually on our way on a trip and my mom was playing Carman. He is a gospel singer. The song was, “Lazarus come forth.” I began to get cold chills and the Holy Ghost came upon me. I started speaking in tongues. Ever since that day, I had a pursuit of God. I could remember as a little child going to my prayer room. It was a little closet in my room and I would go pray

in it. I remember Him coming. I was scared to open my eyes because I felt His presence so strong. That really forever impacted me. I remember my parents being on the floor and praying. I remember my mom praying when I left for school. When I would come home from school she would be in the same position seeking the face of God. That was kind of birth in me. I had a great desire for music. My mom prayed when she was pregnant with me that I would have a desire for music and musical abilities. When I turned eight years old, I started learning songs to sing in church. I didn’t want to sing little baby songs. I wanted to sing adult songs. If people were sitting back saying, “Oh, that’s cute.” I wanted to sit down because I didn’t want it to be cute. I wanted to minister like the adults wanted to minister. I started singing in church and recorded my first album. The doors began to open. I began to travel and sing. I went to different camp meetings and seminars. Then I began to do homeschooling. I really began to travel and sing. I finished school when I was 17 and I’ve just been in it ever since. The Lord transitioned my ministry because my parents went through a divorce. They pastored a great church in Chattanooga. I saw the church world come against them or shun them. Especially in the

early 90s. Divorce was a lot less rare in the church. It really kind of burned me for a little while, not with God, but with the church when it came to pastoring. I told the Lord that I didn’t want to preach. Every time I would get a prophecy saying, “You are going to preach,” I would correct the prophet saying, “I will preach when I sing.” They would say, “No. You are going to preach.” I was so full of the word. I was just preaching in my bedroom. I was preaching to my dog. I would preach to anything that moved. Finally, I told the Lord, if you want me to preach then I will preach. I couldn’t help but preach. Interviewer: That’s powerful. Do you have your album for sale? How can we get it? Pastor Andrew Towe: I don’t have the early albums for sale they are for my daughter to listen to. I have one of my albums for sale when I was 18. It’s in the church’s bookstore. I really don’t travel with it because my style of music really changed. When I first started out, it was more of Grammy award-winning producer. I still have the album here in our bookstore in the church. I don’t travel with it anymore. Interviewer: Okay. The Lord wanted me to ask you about rejection. Rejection is something that a lot of us deal with in the body of Christ. How did you overcome the rejection

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

That’s where you find the most fulfillment: when you speak His heart and mind and release what He is saying to His people.

that you faced in your life? Pastor Andrew Towe: It’s an everyday walk, especially since it’s something that everyone deals with. I remember when I met my wife. I was amazed. She was the only child and everything she did, her mom applauded her. I was amazed at her confidence. I think it’s an everyday walk. I was an extreme perfectionist. I really struggled with wanting to please people. If I was rejected, I wanted to know why you didn’t like me. I would drive people crazy instead of saying it doesn’t matter they don’t like me. One day, I was reading in the book of Jeremiah that said before I formed thee in the belly, I knew you. That word knew means He was intimate with you. He approved you.

He accepted you. He ordained you as a prophet to the nation. I read that many times but one that day when I read that scripture, He revealed it to me and said, “I approve you. I accept you so who cares about what other people think about you. If I approve of you it doesn’t matter what their opinion of you is.” We all want to be loved. We all want to be accepted. We all want to be approved of but no one’s rejection is going to break me knowing that God approves of me and it shouldn’t break anyone else either. Knowing that God approves of us. Interviewer: I love that answer. How God approved you. How God accepted you so it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of you. That’s an awesome

answer. Pastor Andrew Towe: It really set me free. When I work with young people I tell them, “I know the pressure of really wanting to fit in.” When I was in school, I was known as the preacher man. I really wore it as a badge. I was being made fun of. I was like I am being persecuted for the sake of Christ. I know that no kind of persecution to what the apostles and those in foreign countries deal with. I wore it like a badge of honor. Once you see or get the revelation that God loves you and God approves of you, even the things that annoy you about yourself, God loves that about you. My little girl is seven and she is just like her mom where

21

22

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE DECEMBER 2018

she has never met a stranger. Meaning, she will talk to anybody and is so friendly. I’m like that on the platform but I am a little more reserved on a daily basis. Every time she goes to school she gets in trouble for talking too much. One day, I picked her up from school and she had lost some points for this reward system that she gets. I said, “Giuliana what did you lose your points for?” She said, “Talking too much.” I said, “Giuliana you got to control talking too much because that’s disrespectful to your teacher.” She said, “Daddy, God gave me the gift of talking. He gave me the gift of talking to people.” That’s true. It’s true because what God loves about us may even annoy us about ourselves. God is in love with us. He loves everything about us. Yes, he wants to change us into His

image. He gave us the gifts and the talents. Who are we to let someone else discredit what God has given us. Interviewer: Amen. Amen. That’s so encouraging. Pastor Andrew Towe: He set me free from a lot because I almost drove myself crazy being a perfectionist. Now, I am probably a little bit too much the other way. When God sets you free, you know that you have His approval and that’s all that matters. Interviewer: Amen. Thank God for freedom. Thank you, God. Pastor Andrew Towe: Yes. Interviewer: How was it like being called into the prophetic ministry?

Pastor Andrew Towe: I knew that I was called into the prophetic ministry my whole life. When I was born, my mom loves to tell this story, the doctor was playing a song, “Jeremiah was a bullfrog.” The doctor was playing it on the intercom system and she said that she knew that God had called me to be a prophet. I ran away from that for a little while because I thought it was a little strange. To be honest, I was thinking, “ I don’t want to be the strange church or the strange ministry because I have seen a lot in the ministry since I was eight. Sometimes it can get abused or control or manipulation will come and that’s a form of witchcraft. I said Lord, I don’t ever want to use or abuse saints saying “Thus saith the Lord.” Then finally the Lord said, “You can please everybody or you can please me and do what I called you to do. What I called you to do is to declare my heart and my mind.” I know when I preach, I probably break all the rules of preaching as far if you read books on how to preach which I have and studied. I probably break every rule they tell you. But I have to deliver what the Lord has given me. That’s where you find the most fulfillment: when you speak His heart and mind and release what He is saying to His people. It brings about results you never dreamed of. You could be speaking to a people of hundreds or thousands and one person will feel like it’s

directly towards them. Many people will feel like that. It’s just how He is. It is just like the Bible, so many people can see so many different things from one scripture. I was always drawn to the prophetic word of the Lord because I have sort of a Pentecostal charismatic background. We have always been into the prophetic movement. I tried to steer away from it because I went to a Pentecostal college and they weren’t too friendly with the prophetic movement. That is the way the Lord speaks to me. I have to be obedient to Him rather than man. Interviewer: Yes that’s true. Amen. What are some functions of the prophetic ministry? Pastor Andrew Towe: I just finished and concluded a series on the gifts of the spirit. Of course, the word of knowledge and the word of wisdom are the most known. Also, discernment. The most thing that I am thankful for is being an intercessor. I love to pray and to be in the presence of the Lord. I’m an addict to the presence of the Lord. Interviewer: Yes, I can feel the presence of God coming off of you. I am, Lord, this is a Holy man right here. Pastor Andrew Towe: I love to preach and I love to minister to people. But more than anything, I love to minister to

the Lord. I love to go into my prayer room, my upper room and just listen to His voice. Most of the time, what He is telling me to declare to other people is what He is declaring also in my life. A prophetic word will shift you into a direction. It will shift you out of one season into another. I saw the prophetic word of the Lord be delivered and call people. Like right now, I’m doing a series on emerging because I believe in these last few months there is going to be an emerging. When people are in the midst of transition, they need a word from God that is going to call them out of the cave and call them into their prophetic destinies. The word says that He has an expected end for us. He knows our endings from our beginnings. A lot of times that prophetic word of the Lord will shift someone. That’s the part I love most. When someone comes in and you are able to give them a word that shifts them in a new direction and puts them on a road path that God has for them. I saw it when God did it in my life and when God does it here at the church or all the places that I traveled. That’s probably what I love the most of the functions of the prophetic gifting. Interviewer: Yes, the prophetic shifts stuff. Pastor Andrew Towe: Yes, it really calls people out of the tomb. When you think about

it…well, one of my favorite stories in the bible…plus I got filled with the Holy Ghost listening to it. Jesus came to the tomb of Lazarus and said, “Lazarus come forth.” It shifted him for a dead season into a living season. People saw the testimony of Lazarus. He became a soul winner all because of one prophetic word that shifted him. This is what a prophetic word will do. It will call people out of a dead season. It will call people out of a cave. Very few people said it was over for them but having the prophetic word from God will shift your whole direction and bring you out from the old into the new. Interviewer: Amen. Amen. I feel like you are preaching to me. Pastor Andrew Towe: I’m getting stirred now. I am about to start preaching and prophesying. Interviewer: I know there is an attack on leaders. Pastors committing suicide. How should pastors deal with pain? Pastor Andrew Towe: That is such an interesting question. It is such an epidemic. There is a lot of pain that comes with pastoring. You have people that transition and leave and it hurts. You would love to say, “We celebrate you.” When I get hurt, what I do is run to my father and tell Him about my hurt. When we put on a mask

and try to be something we are not, or try to be superhuman, like we have no emotions, God knows what we think anyway. He knows exactly how we feel. I learn that honesty with God is the best thing. One of the scriptures, well I preached on it last Sunday. I was praying and I heard Him say, “Go on Facebook and break weariness off of people.” I went on Facebook in my prayer room and began to pray for people. The word tells us not to get weary in well doing and in due season, that means a set appointed time, we shall reap if we faint not. The temptation to faint is going to come right before the weeping. When you are at the darkest moment or the moment you say, “I can’t do this anymore,” or the point where you say, “I can’t take this,” it is probably the point where you are stepping into your breakthrough. The enemy comes with weariness and comes to try to get you to faint, to give up, to lose hope right before the breakthrough. So many people give up right before their breakthrough. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life more abundantly. That cancels out all the plots of the enemy. That cancels out the assignment of the enemy. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. I think how you handle that is breaking weariness off of yourself.

A lot of times, I will wake up and pray. I will lay hands on my head and pray that I have the mind of Christ. I won’t grow weary in well doing because in due season, I declare it’s my due season, I am reaping. I refuse to forfeit one bit of ground to the enemy. I refuse to give him a minute, hour, or day of my life because God is redeeming my time. I think it’s about taking authority over that weariness. We are all faced with things. Every believer is faced with weariness. Every believer has that temptation to want to give up or give in. When I counsel with people, I ask them, “What are you giving up? Are you just going to walk away from God? You are going to go through a storm because it rains on the just and the unjust. It’s going to rain on someone’s life at some point.” Interviewer: That’s right. Pastor Andrew Towe: I rather it rain with God on my boat then it having to rain and me to depend on myself. There is really nothing that you can give up to. You can just walk through this and to your breakthrough. To answer your question, I think it is to break weariness off of you. Interviewer: I love your transparency on your answers. It does hurt. I’ve been in ministry for five years. I have dealt with so much rejection. People who I thought were for me just cut me off. It really does hurt

and I say, “God, I want to keep my heart right.” I bless them and try not to focus on it when I see them again. Pastor Andrew Towe: That’s what we all have to do. I told my church recently it could be a daily thing. Sometimes it could be an hourly thing. Forgiveness is not something you feel. It’s a choice that you make. Sometimes, I have to remind myself that I choose to forgive. What we go through is nothing compared to what Jesus went through. He defeated it. I have learned in life and now I understand. Once a situation happened at my church tried to defeat me but I got back up. The righteous man may fall seven times but gets back up. It’s kind of like what David went through at Ziglag; the breath was knocked out of him. He was hiding in caves and running from Saul. He knew that he was anointed. He had built this army of misfits at Ziglag, all the ones in debt and stressed. He built them up. When he gets there, he finds that the city has been burned. His wives and children are gone. Now all these guys that are in his army that he built up are talking about stoning him. The first thing that He did according to the word is that he sought after the Lord. He asked Him, “Shall I pursue, overtake, and will I recover?” The Lord said, “Pursue, overtake, and recover all.” David began to

encourage himself in the Lord. I like to picture it as him going back and saying, “I remember God when you anointed me and I killed the lion. I killed the bear and you helped me slay the giant. You hid me in the caves and protected me.” He had history with God. When you have history with God, you can begin to encourage yourself in the Lord. You don’t have to have everybody on your team. You don’t have to have everyone patting you on the back. If you just remind yourself of where God has brought you from. You know that He has an expected end and that He will do what He promised to do. It is really freeing in the fact that you can trust your father. Interviewer: Amen, that is so encouraging and I feel the fire of God when you talk. What is the importance of having the right relationships? Pastor Andrew Towe: It’s extremely important because a connection can either propel you into destiny or it can hinder you. I see so many people get held back in their destiny because of wrong associations or wrong connections. I have seen people be chained to wrong relationships. The Bible says evil communications corrupt good manners. That matters who you hang around. I think of Abraham in the Bible. He took Lot with him when God told him to leave all

your family behind. Well, he took Lot with him and there became strife and division. Finally, he had to sever that relationship because Lot could not go where God was taking Abraham. It’s important that we have those right relationships because they could either be stepping stones or burial plots. Through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit (I believe the Holy Spirit is our connector) He will show us the ones who aren’t right. I had associations in my life where I wanted it to be right. I prayed for them to be right.

lonely one night and I said, “God would it hurt to just go get something to eat with her.” He said, “I won’t bless what I didn’t birth. If you pick up the phone then you will have to go around the mountain again.” I put down the phone and said, “No one is worth costing me my destiny. No one is worth delaying my destiny for. I got to wait.” Then God gave me my dream wife. Right associations do matter.

For instance, before my wife and I got married, I dated this girl for three years off and on. More off than on. I was

Pastor Andrew Towe: I believe that we are about to see the greatest move of God. I know a lot of prophets are

prophesying doom and gloom on America. The Lord is just and we do reap what we sow. I see a great awakening taking place. I believe that we haven’t seen anything yet. I believe that we will see stadiums being filled for the glory of God. I believe that we are going to see a deeper emergence for America. America is going to rise up on the scene in the spiritual realm. America is the leader of the world basically but I believe that we are going to lead in the spirit realm, and we are doing that but to an even greater effect. We are going to go forth and God is

going to fulfill His mandate for America. He anointed us. I believe that America hasn’t seen anything yet. I don’t believe it’s over. I know a lot of prophets see doom and gloom but I see hope. I have great expectation of what God is going to be doing for America. Interviewer: Do you have any upcoming projects that you want our readers to know about? Pastor Andrew Towe: We have a Mega Suddenly Conference coming up. On New Years in Cleveland, we are having a

conference. Interviewer: Thank you so much for your time today. I have been so blessed. Pastor Andrew Towe: Praise God. Absolutely. I thank you as well.

Revelations unfolding, A new molding of what is to come. Jesus, You have won, And we will write of Your victory! Great triumph And great resurgence.

Power in this awakening. Lord, Your remnant is stirred, Crying out to You with Your words. Screams from the ink, Telling of Your great and mighty things. Lord, we just want to serve You. Father, we just want to serve You. We lay down our swords — Our pens — unto You, And we wait. We wait for Your voice To come and subdue Every hard and rocky place. Lord, Your word is enough — More than enough — And we thank You For entrusting it to us.

“This is a Great Book” This book is captivating and relatable in many ways. It takes you through a journey called life. You will smile. Laugh, and shed a tear but in the midst of it all, you know that God was there all of the time. It’s a book of Hope!— Charity Beard “Life Changing” I was blessed by this book because I see who Tron Moses is today and where God brought him from. His transparency helps to set the captives free. God truly uses this man to be a blessing to the body of Christ. This book encouraged me not to be ashamed of my past. This book is a must read for all. I feel like every rebellious juvenile needs a copy of this book.— Kimberly Hargraves
