TESTIMONIES: LET’S GIVE THE DEVIL A BLACK EYE!

When we share our testimonies, our faith increases! We start to believe God for the impossible! We can see the power and the hand of God in any situation. God can turn any test into a testimony! We know if God did it before, he can do it again. Our Testimonies glorify God!

Hello, again Prophetess. God did it. We got our miracle! My husband was released yesterday and didn’t have to transfer to another prison or anything. We are so thankful for your prayers and ministry. God has done a lot in this situation. He is completing it all. We trust him for eliminating everything left he must face. Thank you for standing with us. Your ministry, in this short amount of time, has changed my life for the best. Love and thank you. Praise Report. Today I was on the noon prayer line. You spoke about sowing into

your ministry. I have been saying for the last two weeks that I was going to sow into your ministry. So today during the call I sowed a seed. That was at 12:34 pm. At 1:47 pm, I received an unexpected text message that someone I know wired money for me to Walmart and it’s ready to be picked up. It was 5x as much as I sowed. Unexpected blessings. Amen. -Maudia Good morning everyone. Prophetess Kimberly Moses. Thank you for your prayers of healing last night. After over twelve and a half years of not being able to sleep on my left side, the Holy Spirit

directed me to sleep on my left side. He told me to give my testimony to the class when I woke up. I did it without hesitation, and I’m so excited to report I woke up pain-free!!! Hallelujah!! Glory to your name God!!! I had surgery under my left arm in 2006 where the doctor butchered me. I ended up with my left arm being noticeably shorter than my right arm. The Holy Spirit had me stretch out my arms together, and I’m so happy to report they are the same length. I’m crying tears of joy right now and so grateful for the day you and I became Facebook friends. Watching your teachings has blessed me tremendously, and I was overwhelmed with joy when I was finally able to join your class because I knew my life was finally going to change for the better. I thank God for your life and for you being obedient to His call. May you never experience a sad day in your life. God bless you mightily. —Felecia

to do last week, and now I have the courage to do it after this call. Thank you for your obedience. God bless you!! Hello Kimberly. I pray that you had a safe and pleasant trip home. I can’t begin to express how much you have blessed me. Thank you. My knees are still without pain, and it’s pouring rain in Grovetown. What you don’t know is that I have had pain in my knees since I was a young child. They called it growing pains back then. Today it’s called Juvenile Arthritis. My mind is still clear, and my vision is improving.

You have been praying for unexpected blessings. Just got told I’m being promoted to Lead Analyst. I also followed your directions today during the prayer call and praised and worshipped most of the afternoon. God is so worthy!! #JesusIsLord –Zolisha

Hello, Prophetess Kimberly, just wanted you to know that because of my work schedule. I don’t call in for noon prayer. But today I felt the need to get on the call even if I had to mute myself. My job has been going on furlough since last week, and we’re to sign in daily. But when you were praying prophetically that, “The wind is blowing, and God is turning it around.” Then you told us to speak it, and I felt my chest began to palpitate as if I needed to try and catch my breath. Soon after (very soon afterwards, within minutes) my Dept. Manager sent an email stating we’re resuming our regular scheduled work hours for the rest of this week!!! Hallelujah, the wind is blowing and turning things around!!--Audrey

The 12 pm prayer call blessed me today. You mentioned that God was cultivating us and that is exactly what He told me yesterday that He is doing that in my life. When I laid my hands on my belly and repeated after you about the chains breaking off, I felt a release then my belly was on fire. When you said place your hands on your head, my hands got hot. This call was a blessing, and it has brought change to my life. There is something that God placed on my heart

Greetings! God moved on the 1st day of School for Prophet’s class. While Prophetess was praying for the activation, I felt the fire and stirring in my belly, and my daughter was in her room in the same house, fever broke, and she began to cough up the mucus. While I’m typing, I feel the stirring in my belly. Praise Our God!! I’m so excited to continue to see the move of God in the future classes. I speak abundance of blessing and favor over Prophetess, her family, and ministry.

WHO IS YOUR GOD? TAYLUR HOLLAND

Who do you serve, And who is your god? Is Jesus Christ your Lord, Or have you crafted your own image of Him? Your idol, the workmanship of your own hand — There, but with no life; There, but with no breath. Your god does not live. You call upon him only when convenience permits. With your god, you are still in control. With your god, you live however you want and nothing has changed. You acknowledge His name, but you do not live His life. You love what He loves, and you love what He despises. So who are you serving? Who is your lord and master?

Who are you paying homage to, And to who have you given offering? Who do you worship? Who is inheriting your praise? Who is your god? Lifeless is your god: With eyes, but blind; With ears, yet deaf; Feet, but bound to no authority; Hands, but no healing comes forth; A nose, yet no discernment lives. Your god is dead. You are serving death. This image of your own heart Has manifested, and you are its reflection. You are your god — In control, and bound to death.

HOMEMADE MEXICAN CHICKEN BURRITO BOWL

Serves: 6-8 burrito bowls INGREDIENTS 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 tablespoons taco seasoning 3 tablespoons white flour 2 tablespoons butter 1 can Mexicorn (southwestern corn) (or regular corn) 1 can black beans 1 cup white rice 1 large bunch fresh cilantro (separated) 1 and ½ teaspoons minced garlic (separated)

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY

2 cups chicken stock or broth 2 large heads or hearts of Romaine lettuce 4 limes (separated) Toppings: store-bought chunky guacamole, 1 container (10 ounces) store-bought pico de gallo, 1 container (8 ounces) low-fat sour cream (separated - you’ll need ½ cup for the dressing) Salt and Pepper Dressing 2 tablespoons prepared ranch seasoning mix (dry) 1 tomatillo ½ of 1 full jalapeno (seeds removed) ½ cup regular mayo INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove fat from the chicken breasts and then either pound the chicken to even, thin pieces or slice large breasts evenly in 2 halves. Salt and pepper the chicken pieces. In a bowl, stir together the taco seasoning and white flour. Generously dredge each piece of the chicken breasts in this mixture. 2. Warm a large, non-stick (12-inch) skillet to medium high heat. Add in the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the chicken to a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 3 minutes on one side and then flip to the other side and cook for another 4-6 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (Registers 165 degrees F with a meat thermometer.) Set aside to allow to cool. 3. While the chicken is cooking, prep the rice: combine the rice, chicken stock or broth, and ½ teaspoon minced garlic in a pot over high heat. As soon as the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat, and cover with a lid until the rice is cooked through. 4. Once the rice is cooked through, tender, and no liquid remains, stir in 3 tablespoons (1 large) lime juice and 3 tablespoons packed & finely chopped cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 5. Chop or slice the cooked and cooled chicken. 6. Chiffonade the lettuce and then coarsely chop to get small and thin pieces of lettuce. 7. For the dressing: Zest and juice the last remaining lime. Add the juice and zest to the blender along with the prepared ranch seasoning mix, remaining 1 teaspoon minced garlic, chopped tomatillo, and ⅓ of 1 bunch of cilantro (Just cut off the large stems, but the rest is fine). Add ½ a jalapeno (a full one for more kick, remove seeds) and the mayo. 8. Add some seasoned salt and pepper to taste (I use ¼ teaspoon of salt and ⅛ teaspoon pepper). Blend until completely smooth. Taste and adjust to personal preference (more lime, more garlic, salt/pepper). Whisk or blend in ½ cup of the sour cream. PUT IT TOGETHER 1. Place lettuce on the bottom of 6-8 bowls. Divide the rice evenly among the bowls. Divide the drained and rinsed corn + black beans evenly among the bowls. 2. Top each bowl with lime wedges, a garnish of cilantro, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. 3. Drizzle the dressing evenly over the bowls. 4. Enjoy immediately. By The Recipe Critic

LOVE ON YOU By Kimberly Moses

Here is part five of the “Becoming A Better You” series. Loving you is an important aspect of life. When you love yourself, you have standards! People will no longer be allowed to mistreat you. They will no longer be allowed to walk all over you. You will no longer allow people to use and abuse you. Loving on you involves doing something nice for yourself. Well, when was the last time that you did something nice for yourself? Two years ago, I declared over myself that I would start loving on me. Before then, I was severely depressed and just going about the normal routine such as work, dropping the

kids to school, church, and that was it. I had no social life. There was no fun. I didn’t dress up or fix myself up. I was in need of a new wardrobe. I didn’t shave. The list continues. I totally let myself go. I prayed for everyone except myself. When was the last time you prayed for yourself? Many moms and wives neglect themselves after marriage and parenthood. I was one of them. Don’t neglect yourself. Two years ago, after I made those declarations, I began to love on me. I didn’t have a lot of money at the time, so I did a lot of things at home. I did my pedicures and manicures. I did my facials. I did

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY

2019

my deep conditioning treatments. I cooked my favorite meals. Before that, I made up excuses not to cook such as me being single. I went into the kitchen and cooked like I had a husband. I invested in myself. I brought a few new outfits because I was way overdue. I started exercising and made healthier choices. I decided to forgive the people who hurt me. Because I chose to love myself, forgiving others was necessary. I refused to allow those old wounds and painful baggage to be connected to me any further. I learned that forgiveness was for me and not necessarily the other person. The people who I was mad at moved on with their lives and I was the one stuck in pain. Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” When I decided to let it go, God healed me. I started to love my neighbor as myself. Some people struggle with loving others because they don’t love themselves. This was my problem, but it changed when I allowed God to do a great work in me. Romans 13:9 says, “For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Whenever you love on you, there is no time for foolish things. There is no room for adultery, murder, theft, lying, and coveting because you are going places and there is a mandate to fulfill. When I embraced loving myself, I let go of my past mistakes. Many people are still bound by past mistakes and this isn’t the will of God. There is no condemnation in Christ when you are walking in the spirit (Romans 8:1). When I meditated on this scripture, I was set free.

When people came to me to gossip, I shut it down. I declared that I was no one’s trash can. I didn’t allow people to weigh me down with their garbage. I didn’t want to feel bad anymore by enabling people to drain me spiritually with their problems that were out of my control. Don’t allow people to weigh you down with their drama. When I started to love on me, I was drama free. Think of yourself as a jewel. You are valuable. It’s time to love on you! Now, repeat after me. “I decree and declare that I will love on me this year. I will forgive people that hurt me and move on with my life. I will invest in myself physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I will pray for myself. I will not neglect myself. I decree that God will bless me with my heart’s desires this year.” To read the previous part of “Becoming A Better You” go to https://www.republishing.org/ blog

PROPHET DION NESMITH Interviewed By Kimberly Moses

Interviewer: Tron and I are honored and we appreciate you for deciding to do the interview with us. I know this interview will bless many people and I know that you are passionate about the prophetic, prayer and intercession. Congratulations on your recent TV interview. How did you know that you were called to be a prophet? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Well, I grew up in church my whole life. I was in a Baptist church under my grandfather and at eight years old, I heard the voice of the Lord say that I was going to preach. It was like something in my spirit. I was in my room playing with my basketball. Something in my spirit said that I was going to preach and I got scared. That’s how I knew it was God speaking to me because I’m a little boy and I hear this voice. Instantly, I say, ‘God no, not me…’ because I’ve always been afraid to stand up in front of people. So, at that time, I knew that there was no way for God to tell me to preach in front of people. That’s not me, even now, I don’t like to do it. People never know, but I shy away from it now. Interviewer: I am the same way. Prophet Dion Nesmith: I kept hearing this voice saying, “You’re going to preach.” It was a small whisper. I would say, No, no. Not me, God, no.’ Then one day, I said, ‘God okay. When you finally call me, I’ll do your will.’ My exact words were, ‘God let me have my fun first and when you call me, I’ll do your will.’ I saw it from the lens of my grandfather and my uncle. They

both told me that once they got to a certain age, God came to them in a dream and let them know that they were called to preach. I always thought that God was going to come to me in a dream and let me know that it was time for me to preach or do his will. After that, I began to have strange dreams. I would have dreams of tsunamis and end time dreams where I would see armies go on land and go after Christians. I was a little boy and never read the bible before. I would always go to my mother and then some of the dreams would come to pass. Then, I started knowing certain things about people without evening knowing them. I could see that God was going to use certain people and who God is going to call. That’s my strongest mantle. It doesn’t matter what’s going on with that person. They could be in a gang and I could see the mantle of God on a person’s life. I started to tell my friends that God was going to use them. Again, I’m in a Baptist church, so I really don’t know what a prophet is. I’m in church and been in church my whole life but didn’t know about the different graces and different offices. My uncle, at the time, was the only one going to a spirit-filled church. He was the one that gave me the definition and the language of being spirit filled and what it is to be a prophet. I knew I was called to the office when I started to read the books

“At eight years old, I heard the voice of the Lord say that I was going to preach.

of the prophets. When I read the way the prophets would speak to Israel, then I knew this is what I was called to do. I knew I was called to preach, and everything was going to be alright. But, for some reason, when I would read the books of the prophets, I had the same burden that the prophets had. It was starting to come on me. I knew that this is what I’m called to do. I’m called to bring order, correction, repentance, and telling people how to turn back to God. My final confirmation was when I went into a church, not even knowing that one of the leading prophets at the time was Juanita Bynum. There was a leading apostle and bishop there also. When I saw them preach and their prophetic mantle, I knew it was the way God was setting me to preach to the body of Christ. I thought, ‘This hoopla and things that are being said is all good, but this is not the heart of God. This is not what God is saying to his church. He wants to get his church back in order. He wants us to go back to repentance. This is really not where God wants his church to be.’ When I came under New Bethel Ministries, that gave me the understanding of being a prophet of God. To

speak the truth and restore order in the body of Christ. Interviewer: Amen. How long have you been walking in ministry? Prophet Dion Nesmith: I was called at eight years old and at 21 years old, I submitted my life to Christ. At 12 years old, I read the bible front to back and kept reading the bible front to back, Genesis to Revelations. I was filling myself up with the word, but I need to get cleaned out. I was filling myself up with the word, but I wasn’t consecrated and sanctified. Once God began to purify me and filling me with the Holy Ghost, I asked God, when He finally called me, what He wanted me to do, because I was taught to do a trial sermon under my grandfather, but I was hearing the voice of God since eight years old. I wanted clear direction from God on what He wanted me to do. God said, “You know, you been hanging out here, and having your fun. I’m going to send you back to the streets, and you are going to start your ministry in the streets. Preaching salvation and love to the lost.” So, I told my grand dad that God wasn’t telling me to do a trial sermon. God’s telling me that He wants me to go out in these streets and start preaching salvation. My granddad laughed at me. My uncle was my pastor at the time and my grandfather was my overseer. The reason that I wasn’t perturbed by their laughter was because at the age of 8 years old, I was being guided by the voice of God. My grandfather and uncle never laid hands on me. They never prophesied to me, because they didn’t do that. They were regular traditional, baptist preachers. So, I knew that this voice had been leading me and this is what God was saying. It gave true confirmation and that was one of the best things that I did in my life because I learned true ministry. I didn’t learn ministry from honorariums and learning how to be grand. I learned true ministry by preaching the gospel and prophesying to people where they were cursing me out. Calling me a fool and asking me what I

was doing. The burden of God for lost humanity came upon me. As a prophet, you’re going to speak and say what God is telling you to say no matter what. I wasn’t just preaching to a black church; I was preaching to everybody. I was preaching to Arabs, Caucasians and multitudes of people got saved and receive the word of the Lord, as well as healing that took place. Almost 20 years later, I’m hearing, seeing and witnessing testimonies of people that I preached to testify. They are coming to me saying you may not remember me but on a train you said this or that. One testimony that really blesses me is from this young lady that I would see all the time at a train station on Parsons Blvd. I would go there early in the mornin, while there was a rush of people going to work and I would preach the love of Jesus Christ to people. There was this young lady that I would always see and I would point her out. I would say, “Miss, one day God is going to grab hold of you. There is a destiny that God has for you.” She would look at me like I was crazy and keep walking and wouldn’t pay me any mind. Every time I would see her, every morning, God would point her out and say minister to her. He would tell me to tell her that one day that she would be saved. Recently, I went to a conference at my old church and she was up there singing with the choir 20 years later. It was the same lady! She wasn’t even saved

then when God would tell me to minister to her. I just smiled seeing the will of God come to pass in that manner. You know everybody is waiting to grab the microphone and waiting for their time. With me, God was saying this was my time and to go and preach to whoever will listen to the gospel. That grew a burden for souls for me and a burden for lost humanity. That’s how my ministry; started:out in the streets and then it evolved from there. Interviewer: Amen. That’s so awesome how God set you apart and kind of trained you. He sent you out into the world that was going to reject you, but then you got the training that you needed. It reminds me of Ezekiel; God sent him to a rebellious type of people. So, that’s awesome. How was it like for you to grow up in the church? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Well, it was awesome; I felt blessed. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY so around me was impoverished people. It was a lot of poverty and I would see the road that people would take and I knew that wasn’t my

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY

portion. Growing up in the priesthood and growing up in the family that went to church, I felt very blessed. When I began to come into maturity, I realized growing up in a traditional church, I had always wished that I grew up in a spirit-filled church. Even though that was my foundation, it was always a blessing to me, growing up and serving the Lord. I loved the Lord and grew a love for God, even though I didn’t know how to properly host him or properly live for him. I wasn’t being trained on how to properly live for him, so I loved him. One thing I would do is bring my bible to junior high school. They would laugh at me, but I didn’t care. To me, I’m more ashamed of you then I am of the God who created you. I never understood how people could be ashamed of God when He is the greatest being there is. How could we be ashamed of him? It doesn’t make sense. It never made sense to me, so I always had that level of boldness to let people know that I’m a believer, I serve Jesus Christ and He is my God. So, it was great growing up. I thank God until this day that He set a foundation. One other thing that I am definitely blessed about. For instance, my mother is a PK [preacher’s kid]. She had my brother and me out of wedlock, so of course, her being a PK and having us out of wedlock was looked down upon. She was the black sheep out of her brothers and sisters. When I was born, I never had my father in my life. So, when I was born, she dedicated me to God. She said to God, “The father is not here. You’re all that I have and I need you to take care of my kids; I need you.” In learning that, it gave me a greater love for God for answering that prayer. He didn’t just make me a preacher like my grandfather or my uncle. He took me and made me a prophet unto Himself. I’m so grateful for being brought up in church under that cover and protection. I was kept from so much. I had friends that died in the streets, in the world. There was a level of ignorance then concerning the counsel of God, holiness, and everything. I still was protected. I still was in the glove so that was a great blessing.

“I’m going to

send you back to the streets, and you are going to start your ministry in the streets.

Interviewer: That was so beautiful and I felt God on that. You said that you’ve read on the prophets and it gave you clarity. Which one was your favorite prophet and why? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Elijah definitely. My son’s name is going to be Elijah. I’m speaking that into the world right now. I love Elijah. I love everything about Elijah. He is definitely my favorite prophet because he is so unique. Everybody in the Bible has a beginning. God is big on genealogy. Elijah doesn’t; he just comes out of nowhere with this powerful mantle on his life. We don’t know who is father or mother is or his spiritual father. He just comes on the scene with the word of the Lord, with grace to call down fire. Everything about his life is miraculous, like when God took him to heaven. I just love Elijah definitely. Interviewer: That’s powerful. I know that you’re passionate about intercession and prayer. How important is prayer in the life of

27

28

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY

2019

all believers? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Well, it’s very important. That’s the way we contact God. Whether it’s politics or for evil, you have to have a prophetic understanding that it’s time to pray. Just seeing where the Body of Christ is, there are pockets that have fire and want revival. There are also other pockets that all they care about is scandal, and foolishness. It is time to pray because when we look up to great moves of God and it’s a travesty, that is what we are supposed to be standing on. When we would have great moves of God, they would prophesy about our day and they would say there was a company coming that’s going to be greater than us and more powerful than us. We are sitting here looking at the greatness that they did because we have not yet attained the real grace and real power and glory that God is calling us to walk into. For instance, I heard about the testimony at your service about a lady’s leg growing out. That’s supposed to be happening on a regular basis throughout the body of Christ. We are all supposed to be walking in the power and dimension. There are other nations like Africa, Australia, and South America were they are just walking in glory because that’s a lifestyle for them. That’s not something that they are coveting or seeking after. It’s a reality and it has to be for them because of the level of warfare that they are facing. They have to be in a place in God; they have to intercede. We have to get back on our knees here in America and we have to seek God again. We have become passive and I don’t see the hunger of God. When I first came into the Spirit-filled church, there was a level of hunger there. There was a level of youth that was crying out to God that I don’t see today. People are not hungry for their callings or to really see this world transformed by the fire with the glory of God. Again, it’s always going to be that remnant. I see remnants of people that say. “Listen, we are going to bring reform, we are going to cry out to God, and revival

is our portion.” There are other people that are like, that’s all nice and good. They rather have a feel-good message that is preached and they run around, go home, and that’s it. That’s ok for people who just want that, but there are other people that want more than that. They are not satisfied with just being preached happy. They are not satisfied with just having church and we just ministered to each then go home and that’s it. They are jealous of that. They are jealous of the Azusa and the awakening. They are jealous of the stories that you hear. So there is a generation that wants to see the glory on the Earth. Before we go to heaven, we want to bring heaven down to Earth and then we can go to heaven. Interviewer: So powerful and I love what you said. I was going to ask you about how God was going to get people more passionate about prayer and you said that you see a remnant and you kind of answered that question.

“I love Elijah. I

love everything about Elijah. He is definitely my favorite prophet because he is so unique.

It’s disappointing that people don’t want to pray. I do prayer services and a lot of people don’t show up.

on how to remove that hindrance and obstruction that is stopping the move of God in that church.

Prophet Dion Nesmith: That’s right. But let a prophet come that they know is going to be prophesying and the service will be packed out.

When we meet on Sundays, we pray for the leadership of the church. For instance, mental issues is a huge issue in the body of Christ, especially with social media because everything is out in the open. So now, we have to cover these leaders in prayer. The world already looks at us under a certain lens, so we have to pray and seek God because all we have is each other. If we stay divided, then the enemy has us. All we have is each other. We have to close those breaches; we have to close those gaps. Those gaps can only be transformed through intercession. The reason why God raised up judges is because of intercession. When His people would cry out, “God help us. We’re in bondage.” It was intercession that made God say, “Okay, now I have to send help. Now, I have to raise up a Moses to bring deliverance. Now, I have to send a Deborah to show the world that I’ve always made a

Interviewer: Right, exactly. What are the different levels of prayer? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Well, as far as intercession is concerned, you can hit a realm of intercession where it goes from asking God to transform something to interceding prophetically and began to catch His burden and what He is desiring or the need that needs to be prayed. That’s what intercessors tap into. For instance, let’s say that it’s a personal church with a need in the church. Let’s say that they became stagnant or a spirit of Jezebel has hit the church. In intercession, you are going to tap into that. You’re going to hear hearts cry

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY

design to use women.” (I had to throw that in there.) People are saying that God isn’t using women in this hour. That’s crazy. Intercession touches the heart of God because we host a king. We serve a king. He is not just going to throw everything in our lap because the people would get lazy. The people would begin to move in idolatry. Once the people came into the promised land and had all that God promised them, they didn’t need God anymore. They then threw Him to the side and was living how they want because they had everything that they needed. Because of this, the focus is now left off of God. Intercession always keeps the eyes of the church on God, so that we understand that we need God’s wisdom, guidance, and deliverance. Hell is moving 247. We can pray for five minutes, we can pray for an hour, but hell is moving 24-7 in trying to destroy the church. That’s all they do. Their whole operation is to destroy whatever God has set up. We go to work for eight hours, then we come home and watch TV. We give God our 15 minutes of prayer and are combating the demonic kingdom with 15-30 minutes of prayer with what they’re doing for 24 hours, 365 days of the year. It’s been done for thousands and thousands of years. Our, 20-, 30-, 50-year-old self are given 15-20 minutes of prayer and think we are changing systems and regions. No. Of course, the Holy Spirit is the most powerful being there is. No matter how much intercession we give, God can always move and do what he wants to do, but He is not going to move unless He has the people that will cry out to Him. Now, dealing with supplication, that’s waiting on God and asking God from a humble place. Let God know that we need Him. God loves that. God loves the humble. Just you being in a posture of prayer shows God that you’re humble. The fact that you’re bringing people to a church to pray, not to ask for money, not to be seen doing a great work, but the fact that you’re coming in private saying, “God, help us. God, move upon us.

“So there is a

2019

generation that wants to see the glory on the Earth.

Meet this need.” The fact that you’re doing that, God loves. He loves to be worshipped. He loves to be called upon and recognized. The greatest thing that a person could do is to recognize that they need God. That is the greatest thing that you can do. When you realize that you need God, you can move in possibilities in the earth. Your priorities are straight. You realize that it’s Him. You realized that it’s God. Isn’t that what he told Solomon? “If you would humble yourself and turn from your wicked ways?” That teaching right there can turn the body of Christ alone. Interviewer: What is God saying to America (the Bride of Christ)? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Well, it’s so much. The Bride of Christ has to get back on her knees and pray. She’s become too grand. She’s become too complacent and relaxed. We are on our sixth awakening. To some, that word awakening sounds so great. It sounds marvelous, but to a prophet, it means that we are sleep. It means that we are sleeping. How in the world can God’s bride be sleeping when he birthed us out over 2000 years ago with great power?. We are supposed to be moving from there. How is it that we keep falling asleep? What is wrong? God never sleeps nor slumbers. Why are we always falling asleep? That’s an issue. Something is wrong if we have to keep being awakened. How are we going

31

to properly prepare the next generation if we are sleeping? We have to awake and get the cold out of our eyes because we have another generation that is waiting on us to let them know who God is. This generation isn’t going to know who God is unless this generation tells them who God is. By showing and presenting Him to them, giving them our history so the bride has to get back on her knees again. She went from being in prayer, to God raising her up and sending her around the world, being in tents, conferences, and coliseums. All of this is amazing because that’s where God wanted us to be positioned. Now that we’re getting into position in all the different spheres of society, what are we going to give them? We have to give them power. I don’t understand the concern about what we’re going to do with the millennials. Is this the first generation where we had a young generation? Each generation always had a young generation. I don’t understand. It’s the same thing. You give them the raw power of God. Jesus crucified. That’s what we give them. Technology, businesses, and intellect are not going to save them. We need them to have that to move in society, but to get them saved is the raw power of God which was given to every generation. It’s the same

thing they gave me as a youth, they told me I had to live right, call on God and get in my word. I need that because it was the only way to leave this world’s system and come into the kingdom’s system. I don’t understand how we are sitting here scratching our heads as if God is scratching His head and doesn’t know how to reach a young generation. He always knows how to reach a young generation. Every generation was young and was reached when they were young. There are certain foundations that will never be irrelevant. The foundations of prayer will never change. Living right and coming out of the world will never change. There are certain things that we have to get back to that we’ve pushed away from. We’re not teaching fasting and praying anymore. Jesus Christ himself, before He came into ministry, fasted for 40 days. That shows us something about fasting. You see the principles with Elijah and Moses, so it’s something in the component. The bible says, “when you fast”, not “if you fast”. They’re not the same. The church doesn’t teach about fasting and praying anymore. It’s about the church (the Bride) interceding, getting back to prayer and the foundation of the word of God. There are people that are just preaching anything now. We are throwing away hell, devil and the rapture. We are just going away from it and it’s not of God. It’s the doctrine of devils. We have to put away these doctrines of devils and all this mix and matching of foreign new ways and religion. We have to remove that and the bride has to pray and it has to be a remnant. I was just telling my wife that the prophets that are called on the scene now (where you get called or not back to certain arenas) have to speak to the church and let them know what it is and speak God’s heart. They cannot tell them what they want to hear and scratch their itching ears. We have to tell the bride what she needs to hear and the bride has to get back on her knees. Yes, there are pockets that are doing amazing, wonderful things and are on fire, but there is a segment out here that are religious and don’t have a clue. They are complacent and don’t

want God. All they want to do is just sit there and know the latest gossip, tea, and scandals. So, we have to get back in prayer because we are becoming our own worst enemy. It’s not the world that is tearing us down. It’s the church that is tearing the church down. It’s the church scandalizing the church and is of the devil. You don’t see the Muslims doing that. you don’t see the Jews doing that. You see none of these other religions go to social media and Youtube to tear their own religion down. That is of the devil.

I grew up across the street from Coney Island on the beach. I had this beautiful view of the water, so before I would go to sleep, I would have dreams that I would see the ocean stand up. It was still Coney Island, but it would come to the top of my terrace which was 24 stories high in my dream. You have to picture seeing this, it was unbelievable scenes in my dreams. Your dreams feel so realistic. So, I would have these dreams from the 90’s and early 2000’s, not knowing what I was seeing. Then, we started seeing tsunamis that would Interviewer: You said a lot. Prophets, you are called unto the Lord first. Your first ministry is to minister to Him. God wants prophets to be His friends. Learn the mood of God; learn the heart of God. Prophets are different from someone that has the gift. Know what He likes and what He doesn’t like. Get to know Him and His presence. In His presence is where you will really begin to develop. The more you get into His presence, the more you will develop. As far as the gifting is concerned, a School of the Prophets like yours is needed in every city and every region. The strong prophets teaching the next generation coming up. We have soft people making shipwreck of the prophetic. We teach people to just prophesy for money, to get a great name, and to tell people what they want to hear. We teach people to become gimmicky. We are seeing that and the church is flooded with that. Real true prophetic people are going to tap into the heart of God. They are not concerned with the externals. What I mean by that is that there is a certain thing that comes with being a voice for God. Your going to get influence, be known, and be blessed. But they are not concerned with that. A prophet’s concern is fulfilling God’s mandate. Everything else is just an added component to it. A prophet is more honed in and focused to fulfill God’s destiny, heart and His desires in the body of Christ Interviewer: Amen. I love that. God has me in a season of focusing on character. It’s not all about the gifts. You gave a beautiful explanation. This interview is blessing me. Let’s talk about your Missions Impact Nations Tour. I see Africa and Parkstain. Can you tell us how God gave you the vision and what’s it all about? Prophet Dion Nesmith: Well, I had a lot of different leaders reach out to me saying come to our nation and let’s have crusades and leadership meetings. I have always been a humanitarian at heart. I have a huge heart for people that are in need and need help. That’s the way

God built me. A lot of people would ask for help and to come and minister the word of the Lord. They would ask me to come pour into the people. I would talk to these leaders and see where they are at in God to ensure that they are true, authentic leaders. Then, I would pray. This started years ago after getting the prophetic word that I was called to nations to minister, so I was seeing what was lining up with what God was saying and what God was speaking over my life. Remember, I started out preaching in the streets preaching to all different nations and preaching salvation. When these different nations opened up and say to do crusades, it was God showing me that if I was faithful over little, He’d make me ruler over much. He said, “You started out preaching to nations. You didn’t care about your name in lights, getting the microphone, or going to church with one of the biggest leaders of the church, so now, I’m going to enlarge you and your camp. Because of that, now I’m going to open up these doors for you to minister.” It was because of my heart. I didn’t care about any of that. I didn’t need a microphone or prophet being underneath my name. Even though I’m a prophet my heart is sold. That’s my heartbeat. My heartbeat has always been souls. So now he’s opened that door. They are asking for us to come and we are going to host crusades and leadership summits. God has blessed me with a wife that just so happens to be apostolic and prophetic. We are in team ministry and go together. Sometimes I’ll go by myself, but we will be ministering the word of the Lord to churches there. We are going to do some humanitarian work as far as digging wells, helping with orphanages, and helping the people. Iron sharpens iron, so we are going to help the leaders reach their region. Generally, they want to reach their region. A lot of them were born in pagan families and God saved them. So now they want to reach their nation for God and we are going to help them do that. I was joking with my wife about not helping these Americans with all these scandals, fighting, controversy,

and competition. I’m going to go out to these nations that know nothing about that. They are not trying to be on the latest flyer. There’s no competition. They want to see their nation transformed for God and see their families saved. They deal with real demons and devils out there. They want to break people free from generational curses. I have a big heart to see lives transformed. We going to do that soon and embark on that journey. Interviewer: That’s so powerful and I want to ask you about your wife. When I became friends with you on Facebook, I saw that. I said, “I’m going to be praying for them because they go overseas and will need prayer.” So, I will be praying for you guys. That’s beautiful work that you are both doing for the Lord. How did you two meet? Prophet Dion Nesmith: She actually grew up with my cousin. For thirty-something years, I didn’t know her. Actually, I saw her on my cousin’s page. You probably laugh at what I’m about to say, bu, I have a certain nose that I like in women. She just so happen to have that nose and I friended her. Come to find out, she and my cousin grew up together. When I requested her, I didn’t know that she was in ministry, saved, or a prophetess for the Lord. I just knew that she had this certain look and I wanted to know who she was. Every now and then we would just say hello to each other. Then years later, we finally spoke. Even then, she let me know that she was in youth ministry. She never showed that side of her and I didn’t know the depths of who she really was. We would just small talk until one day we said let’s go to dinner. When we went to dinner and started talking, the thing that captured me was when she stepped out of her vehicle. I saw the glow of God on her. The first thing isn’t beauty with me; it’s when I can see the glory of God on your life. When I can see that you’ve been in the presence of the Lord. There’s a glow that men and women of God carry when you’re in the presence of the Lord. She stepped out with this glow and we have been inseparable ever since. I mean, God set

this thing up because from 14 years old, she walked along aside her apostle, which is my apostle now. She has been lead in the prophetic since youth, just like me. She has been sanctified. It’s amazing how God set this thing up. The funny thing is, at this particular time when we meet, I wasn’t looking to be married. She wasn’t looking to be married. There were times that I was looking, but at that particular time, I wasn’t. That’s a testimony in itself: how God can just bring people together, so it’s just amazing. Interviewer: Awe, That’s so beautiful. So, do you two have upcoming projects? Prophet Dion Nesmith: In March, my wife and I, with another prophetess, will be doing this apostolic conference in New York. She’s about to put together her own service soon and we minister together at our own local church alongside our apostle. In June or July, we are moving to Denver, Colorado and launching our ministry there. Interviewer: How can we get in contact with you? Prophet Dion Nesmith: My email address is d.nesmith77@gmail.com Interviewer: Thank you for doing the interview and your transparency.

SURRENDERING IT ALL: WHEN LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH By Keiyia J. George

Last year I dealt with so many women who were struggling to maintain their relationship with God and their spouse. This is written from a woman’s perspective but the principles shared will apply to men as well. I can recall the days of my parents arguing because my mom wanted to go to church and my dad wanted her to stay home. He even accused her of dating the pastor. But realistically, my momhas a love for Christ that I have yet to see in another and honestly, I think my dad was

jealous of this relationship. What he didn’t realize was he could have this same relationship. Initially, I planned on writing about the fact that there are so many women in the fellowship places and not enough men. The men, if they are like my dad was, maybe sitting home sulking because their wife has gone for a few hours to be with their first love. I wanted to write about why I thought when

you lookedaround in some houses the ratio was at least 25:1. But when I started to write that’s not what came. So maybe we’ll cover that another time. Instead, what I got was surrendering your spouse to God when things look like they are about to end. The more I grow in my walk, the more I spend time alone with Holy Spirit, the more I realize I have a lot more to learn and further to go and grow. For instance, I’ve learned that I’dtake my problems to the altar, give them to God, and keep one finger on them...just in case. You want to know what this looks like? Hmm. Let me see....say there’s this position or job you want. You’ve prayed something like this: ‘Oh gracious, and Heavenly Father, I come to you askingthat you look upon your humble servant with grace and mercy. Lord, there’s this position I want. It’s (whatever it is at whatever location). Father, I place this request in your hands and ask if it is thy will, let it be so. In Jesus name. Amen.’ I, for one, DO NOT pray like this. It’s too formal for me. But I prayed this way for the readers who still believe that Our Daddy requires something so well spoken and formulated with all the right words...or whatever religious fanatics feel...You know what I’m saying though. You’ve made a petition and left it up to the will of God. But in the backdrop, behind the scenes, with no ill intention what so ever, you are over there working and networking, trying to force this to happen. If God didn’t tell you to network and talk to people, you have not surrendered this to God. I recently heard my brother-in-law say: you have broken the terms of the surrender. But let’s bring this closer tohome. You are a woman of God. You believe His Word. You know He told you this marriage would be successful. He promised you you’d get back together. He has sent word after word after word that reconciliation and restoration is coming. When you look at your relationship, you see the complete opposite, but in the

beginning you wage a good war with the prophecies you have received (1 Timothy 1:18). Overtime, your spouse has gotten more distant. With every word, things look worse. He’s hit you or verbally abused you. Comes home when he wants to. Worse! He’s moves out and asked you for a divorce so he can be with his new woman and their child!! WHAT NOW!!!! Well, it’s easy for me to say continue to stand on the promises of the Word. For one, divorce is still frowned upon by God. He would never tell you to divorce your spouse. NEVER. So for all of those people who claim God told you this wasn’t the person for you and to leave them, please stop lying on Him. That goes against the Word. I can quote plenty of scriptures that go against divorce, but I often hear Moses permitted divorce so I’ll quote the one regarding that: “He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” Matthew 19:8 KJV The very next scripture is often used to say well he cheated so I can divorce. Cheating is adultery. Not fornication. The scripture references fornication. Without getting all ‘biblically’ on you, it’s basically saying: when I married you, you said you were a virgin. I found out you are not and by consummating this relationship we will commit adultery. So I release you from me so that you may return to your first husband...or the first person you slept with. If you recall, sex is meant to between married people so when they married, both parties were to be sexually pure. But that’s another topic for another day. My point here is DIVORCE IS NOT IN GOD’S PLAN FOR US. So what now. He’s left me.Moved on. Started another family, but we are still married. I look like a fool! Sweetie, I promise you, if you stay

“ What if you

said ‘I’ll trust You no matter what it looks like?

with God in this, you will be vindicated and receive your just reward. I know it’s hard but let me give you a real live example and testimony. My sister and her husband have now been married for eight years. Six of those years were pure HELL. When they met (after conversing for a period of time via phone), God had revealed to both of them separately that this is who He had for them. So after a short courtship, with this knowledge that it was approved by God, they married. In the very beginning, things were great and all was perfect. But this quickly turned sour as she learned she had some skeletons in her closet that needed to be let go of (resentment, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness of self and others, and one failed marriage thus far). He, on the other hand, had some other demons he was fighting. As an ordained pastor, preaching since he was about four, he was a womanizer, a drug addict, a liar, and a smooth taking, pulpit preaching, snake. Reading this, one may say why would God put these two together. She cried many nights wondering the same thing and refusing to have a second failed marriage, she continually turned to

God. I say continually because every time she placed him in His hands, she did something to undo it. After many years, many fights, many leaving one another, many ‘get outs’, many words spoken that tore one another down, she finally surrendered him to God.It wasn’t easy, so this is what God did.(I’ll be paraphrasing this part.) “Lord,” she whispered, “you told me to marry this man but I want out. Will you allow me to have this desire of my heart?”“Oh, daughter,” He calmly replied, “I wish above all things that you proposer. It is not my will that you divorce but if you ask, I will allow it (permissive will: never the best plan of action), but if you do, these are all the souls that will be lost.” As she looked out at the thousands upon thousands of people he showed her, reality kicked in: if I divorce my husband, the ministry of our marriage will be detrimental to the Kingdom of God. If I divorce him, the ministry for Christ we were to do would be lost. If I divorce him, these souls are upon my head. I promised God I’d obey Him and let Him guide my every step. “Lord, if this is what you want, then you have to fix it. I’m done.”She closed her eyes and saw herself FINALLY taking her hands off her husband and giving him to God. She took her eyes off her husband and placed them on God. She focused on her relationship with God rather than her relationship with her husband. In doing so, she was able to have her heart mended and hear from Him more clearly than ever. During this time, she received very tough instructions. Things she abhorred. Cook for who!!! But she did it. Rub whose back!!! But she did it.Apologize for what!!!! But she did it. Keeping in tune with the small voice leading her, she slowly began to soften her glare as she completed every assignment God gave her. And by focusingher eyes on her relationship with God, she stopped messing up any progress He made and He began to heal her

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE FEBRUARY

2019

relationship with her husband. See, what she learned after six years is her way is not perfect. If she’d only listened many years ago, she wouldn’t have had to endure for so long. One last story from this wonderful couple. In late 2015, God led her to move. Without him!!! Without question, she packed up, and moved. Within four months, the two were reconciled. He had renewed his relationshipwith God (for real this time) and they’ve found a new relationship truly ordained by God. They minister as a couple and have shared their testimony many times in hope that another couple can be saved through God and completely surrender to His will. This month is about love. I LOVE love!!! I despise divorce. So what better thing to share than a reconciled marriage that was saved by faith! Did I tell you that he moved out at some point (or several) and was with a new woman? We women know that, that typically means the relationship is done so we go ahead and file for divorce. Divorce in this country is running rampant. Everyone from the pastor to the newlywed isdivorcing. It’s like a new badge of honor. But what if you decide to take your eyes off of your relationshipand plant them solely on God? What if you said ‘Lord, I surrender all’ and truly give it to Him. What if you said, ‘I may look like I’m losing, but I know I am victorious!’ What if you said ‘I’ll trust You no matter what it looks like? What if you decided to be the one to break the generational curse on marriage in your lineage! Being the one to look like a donkey in a marriage can’t be easy. People will talk, but they talk anyway. The Word says don’t be afraid of men in their faces (Jeremiah 1:18). I’ve always taken this to mean: AIN’T NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO ME SO TALK!!!! Be prepared for my Daddy though. So, can you step out today and trust God to fix

this thing. Even when things look like they are going the wrong way, trust Him. Someone asked me this week what does this look like, and while I haven’t had to trust God to heal my marriage, I’ve had to trust in a lot of things in and around my marriage and other parts of my life. I hope she gets a chance to read this. Just recently, during my quiet time with Holy Spirit, a worrying spirit came upon me. I found myself laying the item on the altar. You see, I’m a visual person. I tend to physically do things or I see myself doing. So as I watched myself lay it down, the thought popped back up. Well, I’m in my special time with my first love. So what did I do? I saw my mind as a touchscreen device and I swiped it away.Seriously. And it went. To this day I don’t know what it was that worried me. This might not work for you but find a way to ‘swipe it away’ and out of your mind. Find your peace in God and watch Him do the impossible. You don’t have to wait six years like the couple mentioned. You can have it now! I leave you with this: I apply the blood of Jesus on every broken marriage. In Jesus name. Amen. Keiyia JOYet George http://www.justmekjg.com

PRAYING SCRIPTURE FOR YOUR PRODIGAL SPOUSE By Mae Blooms

Father, your word says that love covers a multitude of sin. I’m in awe of your love and I thank you for your mercy. Today, I lift my husband up to you, humbly as I know how, so that You will open the eyes of his heart and lift him out of the darkness of sin and bring him into your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). I thank you for giving Him a renewed mind to

live by the spirit and not by the flesh. Open his eyes, so he can fully taste and see (Psalm 34:8) the precious gift of salvation. Equip him to walk in the freedom, Jesus died for him to obtain. Develop in him a resolve not indulge in the desires of the flesh but walk humbly in love all the days of his life.

Father your word says, (Galatians 5:16-18) that if we walk by the spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. I ask that you fill my husband with your Holy Spirit and let him walk closely with you in the spirit all the days of his life. I decree and declare that the conflict that my husband has been struggling in is null and void this very hour. I decree and declare that the scales have fallen off his eyes and He has a teachable spirit ready to receive what you have to say to him in Jesus name. Father your word also says, (Matthew 18:18) that whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Through the power of Jesus blood, I bind and renounce the spirits of sexual immorality, impurity perversion and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, lewd acts, addiction, division, divorce, separation, generational curses, addiction and I command these spirits to go to the pits of hell, never to return again in Jesus name. By the same power in the blood of Christ I loose, the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control. I also loose divine order, unity, peace, proper, communications, respect, intimacy, holiness, faithfulness and truth in Jesus name. I decree and declare (Galatians 6:14) that my husband belongs to Christ Jesus and because He belongs to Jesus, his desires for the world have been crucified and the world’s interest in him has also died. It is no longer my husband who lives but Jesus Christ who lives in and through Him di recting his every step. Father, I thank you for hearing my hearts cry today and giving me the opportunity to stand in the gap for my husband’s soul. The enemy cannot and will destroy our marriage, what you have put together no one can sepa-

rate (Mark 10:9, Matthew 19:6). I know it is not your will that none perish but that everyone comes to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). I pray this prayer not only for my marriage but all the prodigal spouses and fellow standers, I know that you will answer because your word, says, you will. (1 John 5:14-15) and I praise you in advance in Jesus name.

“Today, I lift my

husband up to you, humbly as I know how, so that You will open the eyes of his heart and lift him out of the darkness of sin and bring him into your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).
