“THE FAITHFUL FATHER” Pastor Shirley Cooper

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JULY 2016

With Father’s Day coming up, I can’t help but think of all the Fathers in the world that will be celebrated greatly. But I wonder, who will celebrate the greatest Father in the world? Who will give God His celebration? So many times we buy gifts to pour out to our earthly daddys, but we never reach out to the Creator, Savior, Loving, Merciful, Faithful Daddy that provides us with all that we don’t even deserve. My son in law Algene has lived most his life watching his dad work so hard, giving him all that he could. Sadly, one day their family received the devastating news in 2006 that Algene’s dad had stage 4 cancer. My son in law was 19 years old at the time. So many long nights watching as his father slowly drained of energy gave their family more reason to depend on God’s incredible healing. Life wasn’t easy. This was a family that came here from their native Island Philippines to chase the American dream. They left everything including a daughter who was already married in hopes to one day reunite with her here in The States. It was a dream that didn’t pan out the way that they intended. God had other plans. When I see this family’s struggles I cannot help but feel deeper determination within my soul. I want to do more. I am certain that my son in law is filled with that same determination to accomplish what his dad didn’t have time to finish. There is a deep desire to do more

when we know that there is a deep desire for someone else to do more. It’s a jump start for the heart. A good father brings peace to his family, even when peace no longer surrounds them. I have watched Eugene, Algenes father, work very hard to make ends meet, no matter what problems they were faced with, for Eugene, God conquered all. Life in the Philippines was simple living versus the life lived here in America, but they didn’t realize that until they were faced with the reality. The American dream seems free in many areas, but it isn’t simple living. At times working overboard was the key, and tired, and exhausted was what brought freedom to the doors. In any case, Eugene brought his family oceans away, only to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. Through the years of cancer, Algene watched his daddy like a bouncy ball. High in excitement, with healing, and at times down and frustrated. He heard his dad crying in places where tears were supposed to find privacy, and heard him cry through times when joy was too loud to notice. But that was the only way he knew his family would be maintained and happy. His vision was like any good father, to give every ounce of his life for the family God gave him. Any man that lived this way, was filled with God’s love. So what does a boy do when

their daddy is alive but yet could be dying? Algene knew that in order to see to it that his father lived a wholesome life, he needed to help provide. At his young age, my son in law became a man. He would experience things that only a man could understand. A life of hard work and struggle. He knew that the daddy he had may not be here for long, but he also knew that there was a God that he could trust in to make sure that their family wouldn’t have to say goodbye too soon. So this family prayed, praised, and preoccupied themselves with Kingdom business in order to fill in the thoughts that their flesh stored deep inside. Their faith soon became their guide to greater paths trusting in a Father that not only loved them, but taught them that He would have the final say. Against what the medical diagnosis date was, God said, “no!” Eugene lived far longer than his doctors estimated, ten whole years longer. In that ten years Eugene was given a death sentence twice, but Gods plans out ruled every word that came rushing through human mouths. There were times when Eugene would look in the mirror and say, “I don’t know who I am.” But little did he realize that his True Father knew him. He knew every ounce of pain that was endured through every family member. God knew. The father that my son in law had to one day say goodbye to was loved

even more than he could have ever loved. Watching this family go through the sting of disease totally gripped my heart. It put a dent in anything I had ever struggled in. The hurt was more than large, it was deep. So deep that covering it up was impossible. In the end the illness began to move throughout this man’s body and it began to kill what spirit he had left. As a father his only concern was that his family not see him this way. For he had dreams and visions that were cut short. However, God’s divine appointment knew better. His timing may have seemed too quick for us, but I’m sure it was perfect for a God who knew that the amount of pain just wasn’t worth watching His son cry everyday in agony. The Lord knew what Eugene’s family didn’t. It was The Great I Am who heard my son in laws daddy cry out every waking moment, every sleepless night, every second that this illness made the decision on when he could smile. While everyone saw Eugene’s smile, God saw his despair, his need for just one day of peace and comfort. God saw every struggle, every chance, every tear that was sowed to make sure that he was the perfect dad, husband, brother, friend, uncle, grandfather, and more. He tried to please the world, yet he never denounced the One God who could save him in the end. He gave his entire life to a Father that would reach down and pull him right out of misery. A life he fought so hard to hold onto

so that his family could live the American dream. I’m not sure how my son in law will handle every Father’s Day, or if that day will ever be the same. I can’t read people’s hearts, but God can. The greatest Father in the world holds that title and yet there isn’t one gift large enough or valuable enough to give Him. We don’t even have enough hairs on our heads to count the things He gives to us so freely. But I do know one thing. Algene, my son in law, still worships the Father who saved his daddy. It wasn’t the men and women who handed Eugene his death sentence, but rather His Father who art in Heaven, The great I Am, A Savior, a God who has many names. It’s been two years since my son in law has been able to hold his daddy Eugene. Two long years. Years that he knows he cannot get back. But the promise God has left him is stored deep within his soul. The truth that one day they will reunite. One day when the time is right, Algene will finally be able to hold his father again in God’s presence. In a light that is only offered eternally. A life sentence in a paradise we still hope for. My son in law never got the chance to show his daddy that he not only drives big rigs, but that he is owner to his own company, something his daddy would have been proud of. He may not be able to physically touch the grandchildren that will

come from his son, Algene. But he will. God’s promises never fail. They never wither. Never die. God’s promise of healing came. Whether it came here or in Heaven, it came. God is a Father to all fathers and only He knows when the last breath in us will finally be exhaled. Because He is The Greatest Daddy ever. The number one Father. The only One who can take a man from this world, only to give him the life he couldn’t have here. Because to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8). There is no greater place to be.

DAILY PROPHECY By James Milne

The Father says today you are My betrothed. My heart toward you is as the heart of a bridegroom for His bride. You are more than a mere servant. If all I wanted from you was obedience there would have been no need of the cross, no need of going down into hell for your salvation, no need of humbling Myself to become a man in order to secure the new birth in your behalf. You are My beloved. You are My betrothed. My love for you is stronger than death and My jealousy over you more cruel than the grave. I am a jealous God and My fire burns against anything in your life that would distract you from the intimacy and relationship that we share. That is My heart for you and My heart toward you this day. This

day I choose to beautify you with My love and My favor because there is no greater purpose in My kingdom than to bring forth a bride suited for the bridegroom - who I AM. So rest in this says the Father, that I am not towering over you waiting to beat you down if you don’t serve Me and grovel before Me like a slave in chains. You are My beloved. You are an heir of the kingdom and an entitled one in the heavens. All of heaven turns its focus upon you - not because of who you are in yourself but because of My evident and obvious love for you. Every angel assigned to your life understands how much I love you. Every angel working in your life does so with the under-

standing that you are a favored one and that My heart is inclined toward you. There is no reluctance in Me where you are concerned - let there be no reluctance in your heart where I am concerned. Let there be trust, fidelity and abandonment in your heart toward Me this day for I am your reward and your bridegroom and as such I desire to this day fill you and fill your life with every good thing.

AGE OF PROPAGANDA By Reynaldo Rodriguez

To win the spiritual battle for our minds, we must have a true view of God. That is why Paul prayed for the Ephesians “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” (Ephesians 1: 17). This could be translated as “full knowledge” or right knowledge.” Paul always begins his letters with theology in general, but here he begins with the theology of God in particular. It is like Paul is saying, “I know Satan will be trying to pervert your view of God; so I want

you to begin by making sure that you know who God really is.” This is where we all need to begin our spiritual pilgrimage. On the voice of the shepherd of Israel, a man according to the heart of God, king David inspire by the Holy Spirit of God explained, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to

go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. My soul is downcast within me; therefore I will remember you from the land of the Jordan, the heights of Hermon—from Mount Mizar. Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me—a prayer to the God of my life. I say to God my Rock, “Why have

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JULY 2016

you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?” My bones suffer mortal agony as my foes taunt me, saying to me all day long, “Where is your God?” Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42). Keep looking down. Down? Yes, down, from where we are seated with Christ in the heavenly realms as the biblical narrative explains, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2: 6). This position, seated with Christ, is not just something that we will attain in the future. Being “in Christ” is a present reality for the true believer. Unfortunately, too many of us spend our time living “under the circumstances.” The fact is, however, that we are never the helpless victims of our circumstances, but in Christ we can always be more than conquerors: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8: 35 – 37).

ciples), we were adopted into the family of God, “he predestined us for adoption to son ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” (Ephesians 1: 5 – 7). The Scriptures use many figures of speech to help us understand our relationship to God. Among them are potter and the pot, branches and vine, shepherd and sheep, Lord and disciples, King and subjects, children by birth, and children by adoption. In this Scriptures Paul is presenting a topic: PREDESTINATION. Viewed through the eyes of the Almighty who knows are past, present, and future, (omniscience), is easy to understand the how process of our predestination operates. “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1: 12 – 14).

Set your mortal mind-frame in the mind-frame of Jesus Christ: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12: 2).

Before the foundation of the world, God knew exactly the date and time when we were going to ask Jesus to enter our hearts as Savior, Lord, King, and Friend, (borne again), therefore is easy for the Almighty to predetermine us according to the knowledge He had before everything that existed by His words was created. (Genesis 1: 1 – 3).

Let’s look at this idea of how we should see ourselves “in Christ.” As believers of Christ Jesus (dis-

The idea of adoption is used by Paul in Ephesians 1: 4 – 5: “For he chose us in him before the crea-

tion of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption to son ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—“. Adoptions don’t happen by accident. The adoptive parents want the child, and they choose to act on their desires. So Paul tells us that God chose to adopt us as His children, “in accordance with his pleasure and will”. (Ephesians 1: 5, emphasis added). Jesus said to the Pharisees, “You are of your father the devil” (John 8: 44). The idea of being part of Satan’s family by virtue of being borne with the curse of Adam’s sin on us is what is behind the idea of adoption. God does not adopt us out of our earthly families. Adoption into His family may, however, affect the way we relate to our earthly families. We no longer need to see ourselves as the victims of the way we were treated by our parents or families, because God has now made us part of His family—a family where the Father loves with unconditional love and can be dependent upon to use His limitless power to carry out what His love chooses to do.

FREE BREAKFAST By Reynaldo Rodriguez

Our whole society in the western hemisphere of the New World is performance based. You get what you earn. You earn your way up the corporate ladder, the social ladder, the academic ladder, that arts ladder, the sports ladder, and on and on. There is no free lunch—not even a free breakfast at the motel. The signs should read, “Breakfast included in the price of the room” rather than “Free breakfast.” When we bring that kind of thinking into our relationship with God, however, we have a major theological problem, because we are acceptable to God on one basis and one basis only—what God has done for us in Christ, “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1: 12), “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who

is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2: 1 – 6) not what we do for Him. There are two wrong ways to look for acceptance. One is to continually take our own spiritual temperature to see if we are “good enough”. When we do this, we will be trapped either in pride or in feelings of inferiority and inadequacy. Only God can give us a right view of ourselves and fulfill our need for affirmation and acceptance. The other place we look for acceptance is from other people. Peer pressure tends to control our lives from infancy through old age. Children have to have the latest toys that all their friends have. As adults we have to keep up with the neighbors. We focus on our appearance and performance in order to be accepted by important people. We adopt behavioral patterns that are expected by the “in group” of which we want to be part. We strive for mastery in some area of life in order to receive the praise of people. Even pastors can be caught in this trap. We all long for acceptance and affir-

mation. If our functional faith does not include a God who is unconditionally loving and abounding in grace—qualities that result in acceptance and affirmation—we turn to people for the acceptance and affirmation that we need. Everyone needs to be loved. No human, however, is capable of giving unconditional love and acceptance. We have to begin with a God who loves because it is His nature to love, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4: 8). As humans we tend to love people who are lovable, and therefore we tend to expect God to love only what we consider lovable. The tendency to create God in our own image or in the image of significant others is one of the devil’s favorite strategies for trapping us in his lies. We also need to begin with a God who expresses His love in grace. In order to understand the grace of God, we need to review some definitions. The first term we need to understand is justice. Justice is getting what you deserve. A man accused of a crime stands before the judge, who says, “You’re guilty. The penalty is death.” We can be glad that God does not deal with us on the basis of justice. To be continue.

Our whole society in the western hemisphere of the New World is performance based. You get what you earn. You earn your way up the corporate ladder, the social ladder, the academic ladder, that arts ladder, the sports ladder, and on and on. There is no free lunch—not even a free breakfast at the motel. The signs should read, “Breakfast included in the price of the room” rather than “Free breakfast.” When we bring that kind of thinking into our relationship with God, however, we have a major theological problem, because we are acceptable to God on one basis and one basis only—what God has done for us in Christ, “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1: 12), The Hard to please God vs “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 23) God’s intimate desires is to always show His creative love and power rewriting over and over and over our story until we as the church and body of Christ get written our story well. Have you seen yourself looking through any of these filters? Most people do, but perhaps you are feeling good about your view of God so far. There is one more very common error in our thinking about God. Look at the following words: AUTHORITY ACCOUNTABILITY AFFIRMATION ACCEPTANCE

How do you sense God coming to you? Does He say, “As you are accountable to MY AUTHORITY?, I will affirm and accept you? Or does He say, “I accept you and affirm you and ask for accountability to MY AUTHORITY”? Mercy means compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm, in other words not getting what we deserve. Mercy is an expression of the never ending love of God towards humanity. The accused stands before the judge, who says, “You’re guilty, but I am waiving the sentence. You are free. That is mercy. God cannot be unjust, so the penalty doe sin had to be paid, and Jesus did that at the cross. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5: 21). Justice and mercy meet at the cross. Paul wrote to Titus, “When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy” (Titus 3: 4 – 5). God’s mercy, which offers us forgiveness and freedom from the penalty for sin, is indeed great good news. Unfortunately, this is where most presentations of the gospel end. There is more: There is grace. Grace is getting what you could never deserve. The accused stands before the judge, who says, “You’re guilty, but I am waiving the sentence, and I am going to adopt you and make you my heir.” Paul tells us that “the Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children,

then we are heirs—heirs of God and co— heirs with Christ” (Romans 6: 16 – 17) So, which God do you worship and serve? Is He one who has been distorted by the filters of the world and the enemy of our souls? Or is He the utterly trustworthy God whose Word is forever settled in heaven? “Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.” (Psalm 119: 89). Is He a hard to please God who keeps moving the standard just a little higher? Or is He the God who loves you with unconditional love—love that does not depend on how lovable you are, but on His very nature as love? Is He the God of the Bible? Or an idol of your own making? Is He a person you really know? Or is He a caricature—a cartoon figure—that you carry in your mind? To win the spiritual battle for our minds, we must have a true view of God. That is why Paul prayed for the Ephesians “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” (Ephesians 1: 17). This could be translated as “full knowledge” or right knowledge.” Paul always begins his letters with theology in general, but here he begins with the theology of God in particular. It is like Paul is saying, “I know Satan will be trying to pervert your view of God; so I want you to begin by making sure that you know who God really is.”This is where we all need to begin our spiritual pilgrimage.

A PRAYER FOR THE NATIONS

By Kimberly Hargraves Dear Heavenly Father, God we exalt your name. Your name is higher than all names in heaven and on

earth. Lord, I am thankful for your creation. You created so much beauty here on earth for the eye to behold. You are so holy, just, and

outstanding. Words can’t describe you. Father, I ask that nations will come to know your son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour.

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JULY 2016

Psalms 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Lord, let us all have a godly sorrow, that works repentance in our hearts. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus upon myself and the nations. Lord, I pray for protection for Christians worldwide. Lord, send mighty warrior angels to protect us from all the attacks of the enemy. There are so many martyrs nationwide. I ask that you cancel every assignment of the enemy against Christians. I pray that your agenda is done in heaven and on earth. Father, send the anointing that destroys the yokes. I pray that you send peace among the nations especially where apostasy is practiced. I decree Micah 4:3 over the

nations that nation shall not lift up a sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I decree and declare Isaiah 60:18 that violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. I command divine order. I command things to line up with the word of God. I decree Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against us will prosper and every tongue that rises up against us will be condemned. Lord, stretch out your long arm and vindicate your people, O God. Lord, I pray for more signs and wonders so the nonbelievers worldwide will believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. I pray that every blind eye be open from spiritual blindness. I pray that we can come into the knowledge of your truth. Lord, bless us to walk in a manner worthy of you. Search our hearts O God. I pray that we will be turned from the power of Satan unto God. Lord, I pray that we stand for righteousness

and say no to sin. Proverbs 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Lord, I pray that you provide the resources needed for every ministry so we can get your agenda done here on earth. Lord of the breakthrough, come see about us. Lord, I pray that you have your way here on earth. You are so merciful and you don’t want any to perish. Isaiah 60:12 says, “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.” Lord, I pray that you turn the hardest of hearts towards you. Lord, you are a God who solves impossibilities. Lord, I pray that all idols in the land are destroyed. Lord, I pray that all false Gods are renounced. Lord, I pray that you will meet every need. Lord, you are the God of hope. You comfort your people. You bring healing to the sick. Lord, you deliver all those who are oppressed by the devil. Lord, heal us emotional, physically, and spiritually. Thank you, for answering this prayer in Jesus’s name. Amen.

A PRAYER FOR FREEDOM By Kimberly Hargraves

Dear Heavenly Father, I exalt you. Lord, I thank you for my freedom that I have in you. I do not take that lightly. 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” You are so powerful and I cannot do anything apart from your presence. No matter what the enemy tries to do to keep me bound, you set me free. John 8:36 says, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Pain, stress, addictions, death, sickness all have to bow down to the name above all names. Jesus! There is power in your name. Lord, you don’t want me to use my freedom to indulge in lustful activities. Galatians 5:13-14 says, “You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” I decree Galatians 5:1 that it is for freedom that Christ has set me free. I will stand firm, then, and do not let myself be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. I decree and declare Psalm 119:45 that I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. God, you are way bigger than my problems. Psalm 118:5 says, “In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free.” I am so thankful that you giving me life, joy, and peace. I thank you God that you are the center of my hope and the reason why I can smile again. I decree that I will live as a servant of God. Thank you for answering this prayer in Jesus name Amen.

MEET PROPHET JOHN DELAND COLEMAN “Many call him the Mail Man because of his on point prophetic delivery of the Word of God; to others he’s an anointed vessel with a “right now” word for a prepared people…” Dr. John D. Coleman is declaring the Word of the Lord during this time; a time in which he has labeled “the changing of the guards.” He was called by God at the age of 17 and was licensed and ordained at the age of 19 under the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, (P.A.W.). Dr. John has an AA Degree in Business Management from Phillips College; a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with an Emphasis on Biblical Studies, a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Ministry from Midwest Christian College & Seminary. Dr. John has a mandate to bring a realization to the body of Christ that it is God’s desire for His people to establish a relationship with Him instead of a “religion-ship.” He is playing a pivotal part in reaching this generation and equipping them to activate the gifts within them. A cloud of testimonies including financial and healing miracles have manifested as a result of his ministry. His most recent book The Chambers of Chenaniah - 12 Foundational Truths to Praise & Worship is proving to be a hit among true worshipers as well as worship teams throughout the body of Christ. His first book, Power Points to Prosperous Living, has a popular point: “There are two types of people that come in your life;those that inspire you and those that expire you.” He has traveled and preached locally, nationally and internationally yet he is committed to his family and church, Kingdom Church Int’l. North and South., a non-denominational, charismatic assembly in which he and his wife are both founders and pastors in the south suburbs of Chicago as well as the inner city. Their vision for both of these locations is to empower God’s people for Kingdom living and Kingdom advancement in the earth. Dr. John and his wife, Kisia, live in the Chicagoland area and are the proud parents of five children, two boys and three girls which include two orphaned nieces and a nephew: Christian, Kennedy Ca’Koia, Rain and Jream (Jesus Rules Everything Around Me).

HEALTHY LIVING

God wants His children to be healthy. Our bodies don’t belong to us. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. God wants to satisfy us with long life. Make sure you eat right and get plenty of exercise! Don’t die before your time by eating yourself into an early grave!

SINNER’S PRAYER

Jesus was crucified on the cross just for you! He suffered so much for your healing, sorrows, and sins. He went around doing every good work, healing people and casting out demons. He took thirty nine lashes. He wore a crown of thorns and his beard was plucked out! He was spat on, falsely accused, and beaten. Will you let him in your heart today? Take a few seconds and pray this short prayer. Your life will never be the same. Lord, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins. Romans 10:9 says, “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. “I make you Lord and Savior of my life. Lord, I desire to have a relationship with you. Lord, I confess any sins of ___________. I repent Lord. Wash me in your blood in Jesus name Amen. Congratulations! If you read the above prayer, welcome to the body of Christ. The angels in heaven are rejoicing. Get connected to a local bible based church and get with someone who will hold you accountable. Your next step is to get baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 King James Version (KJV): Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

PROPHETIC ENCOURAGEMENT

These are the words giving to Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves by the Holy Spirit during her prayer time. These are the notes from Periscope.

Malachi Nothing is really known about Malachi apart from the text. God raised him up. He prophesied the coming of the Lord and John the Baptist 400 years before it manifested. He also prophesied the coming of Elijah and the Great Day of the Lord. He carried the burden of the Lord. His assignment was to correct the people and the priest’s conduct in the temple. People were offering God stolen goods and blemished animals for

sacrifice. Their hearts were hard towards God and they had the wrong attitude. The people were very apathetic about their offering towards God. The people were just going through the motions when they went to worship. Their hearts were hardened. The Priest were indifferent to the rules of worship. They also treated Holy things as common things such as the bread table. God said, “I loved you.” The people replied, “What way have you loved us?” The people were spiritually blind and upset that they were still

in captivity. Since the men’s hearts were hard, they divorced their wives while forgetting that God was their witness. They began to marry foreign women so God ignored their offering. God sent Malachi to speak against this loveless condition. God will often send his prophets to preach to people who aren’t listening. The Lord will fill your mouth with His word. 1) Exodus 4:12 says, “Now therefore go, and I will be

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JULY 2016

with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.” 2) 2 Samuel 23:2 says, “The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.” 3) Jeremiah 1:9 says, “Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.” Prophecy is inspired by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21 says, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” The Lord saves His anointed. The Lord will help, save, give us victory, hear us, and rescue us in a mighty way. Psalm 20:6 says, “Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.” The Lord is our strength, refuge, protector, and deliverer. Psalm 28:8 says, “The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.” Prophecy Accuracy 1) Focus on Relationship 2) Worship. Worship will draw God’s presence. 2 Kings 3:15 says, “But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel

played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.” 3) Build on the word. Mediate on scriptures. 4) Live a fasted lifestyle. It will heighten your spiritual awareness and increase your hearing. The Role of a True Prophet of God 1) Prophets condemn the oppression of the widow, the orphan, the stranger, and poor. Zechariah 7:10 says, “And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.” 2) Prophets are preachers of righteousness. They call people back to virtues of justice, kindness, compassion, and truth. Zechariah 7:9 says, “Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:” Zechariah 8:16 says, “These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:” Zechariah He was a visionary prophet or seer. He had 8 night visions. There is a pattern seen in the word where he asks the angel of the Lord a question about the meaning of the vision he just seen. He had

many visions of the Messiah or the coming of the Lord. His visions encouraged the exiles returning to Jerusalem. His visions also included judgment of Israel’s enemies and Jerusalem being restored. He was a true prophet because he led the people back unto God and not himself. He taught a lot about the 1st and 2nd coming of the Messiah. Zechariah means “Yahweh Remembers.” His name is a reminder that God is faithful to His covenant promises. Zechariah was the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo. Iddo was among the heads of the priestly family or tribe of Levi. Zechariah served as a priest and prophet. He started his prophetic ministry two months after prophet Haggai concluded his first oracle or the second year of the Persian King Darius. They were contemporaries or around at the same time. (522-486 B.C.) Zechariah lived and prophesied during the period following the Babylonian captivity. He was sent by God to call the people to repentance. Zechariah 1:3 says, “Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.” He told the returning exiles to return to God, be cleansed from sin, and experience the Lord’s blessings. Zechariah encouraged and comforted people re-

garding the rebuilding of the temple and God’s future work among the people. God’s future plans include mercy, prosperity, comfort, covenant blessings, inheritance, rebuking the enemy for the people sakes, and rebuilding the temple. Zechariah’s prophecies reaffirmed, validated, confirmed, or asserted God’s promises. He reaffirmed Jerusalem’s divine election (God’s chosen people). All his prophecies lined up with scriptures or the gospels (Matthew, Luke, Mark, John) Zechariah’s the following:

prophesied

1) God promised to come and dwell with His returning people 2) God promised to accomplish a miraculous work 3) God reveal His plans to overthrow the enemies of Israel 4) God promised a glorious future for Zion 5) God promised the coming of the Messiah and the reign of the Messiah 6) God promised a restoration of God’s people 7) God promised redemption for His people. Redemption means to make better or buy back. 8) He called Jesus a BRANCH and God’s servant from his vision of the High Priest (Zechariah 3:1-10). He called Jesus God’s Shepherd in Chapter 13. He saw Jesus on the throne in chapter 6. 9) He prophesied Jesus

riding on a donkey. Zechariah 9:9 says, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” 10) He prophesied Jesus betrayal for 30 pieces of silver. Zechariah 11:12-13 says, “And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.” 11) He prophesied the piercing’s of Jesus hands and feet. 12) He prophesied future events such as the conversion of Israel (Zechariah 12:10-13:1) 13) He prophesied destruction of Israel’s enemies. Zechariah 14:3 says, “Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.” 14) He prophesied the reign of Christ in a new Jerusalem. Zechariah 14:9 says, “And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.” Zechariah 1

Lord of Host means Lord of the angel armies. These angels await every command of God. God sent multiple prophets or former prophets with the same message but people didn’t believe. The former prophets were Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, etc. Vision of Horses 1) Prophetic vision 2) Myrtle tree was an evergreen tree that was once common in Jerusalem. Nehemiah 8:15 says, “And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.” 3) Spirits of Heaven (Zechariah 6) go from their station before the Lord and go throughout the earth. 4) Red Horse and rider. Revelation 6:4 says, “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” These were permitted to take peace from the earth so the people would slay one another. 5) Zechariah overheard conversations between God and His angels. Why? Great intercessors are able to pick

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE JULY 2016

up things in the realm of the spirit. The conversation was about the 70 years of exile. God is zealous of Jerusalem. He was angry with the nations He used to punish Jerusalem. God promised to show compassion on His people and rebuild Jerusalem. A surveyor’s line was used to make measurements in preparations for new constructions for the work that will begin. Vision of Horns 1) Prophetic vision 2) Horns represent powerful nations and their Kings. 4 Horns are the ones who persecute Israel/Judah which are Assyria, Babylon, MedoPersia, Greece. 3) 4 craftsmen of smith’s destroyed the horn. Babylon destroyed Assyria, MedoPersia conquered Babylon, Greece conquered Medo-Per-

sia, Rome overcame Greece Pray for Mexico. I see a famine coming to various crops. Pray for revival to hit that nation. Pray for pharmaceutical drug companies. I see a recall of major drug. Pray for the Nation of Turkey. I see an economic crisis.

Had a vision of KKK or Ku Klux Klan trying to emerge and attack. Pray against food borne outbreaks. Seen a vision with Lobsters contamination. God says He is pulling His people out and stopping some stubborn things. He has not forsaken you. God said many people have been worried and discouraged to the point where they have lost hope. He will restore their peace, restoration, hope, sanity, and right mind-set. He will touch the people himself. There will be a tangible flame of His fire burning in their bellies. No more unbelief. God says seek my face and pray the words I have spoken back to me. This is a time of refreshing.

She is such an inspiration to many women. -Tonya I sowed a $20 seed into Kimberly Hargraves ministries. I had been trying to get the rest of the $600 to get my truck fixed. I had been praying about it and I went to DSS and they are going to pay $600 to my truck repairs. To God be the glory.-April
