MAN OF STEEL By Shirley Cooper However, I love to watch my children interacting with their daddy. I love to see them all sitting around a table and just talking, debating or even bickering now and then. Big disagreements to small ones, challenges that turn into wins or losses. What a beautiful chaos. I believe that these are some ingredients to a happy home. With love being the most valuable. But how do you celebrate a day when the one thing required is a father?

Every year for Father’s day we remember all fathers, thinking of all that they do and how they protect us. For me, Father’s day can be bittersweet. With so many children that never get the chance to be loved like my daddy loved me, or my childrens daddy loves them. So many boys that will probably never have that one partner that they can shoot hoops with or have that messy sloppy joe day. Men that will never have that daddy to bring their first love to, for approval. Husbands that can never share

father son memories of their daddy to their wives. While Father’s day is an incredible day to celebrate the man that raised you into the person you are today, it can be a day filled with hidden hurt and tears that never fall from the outside. To think that some may never feel the lifting of a man who promises to never let us down, push us aside, or fight our battles. A bitter sweet day for so many people.

Although the thought may seem impossible for some, for others lifting the greatest Father up is possible. I’ve truly come to understand that when a parent is void on this earth, God is present. Losing my mother and father in this life, left me with no parents at all. But God has taken up that task long before my parents ever left this earth. He raised me in a way that even if my parents lacked in certain areas, He would keep me covered. It wasn’t often that my mom and dad lacked in anything, especially love. Their ways were so deeply rooted in me that all I did and do is love. My daddy was my hero. He was

the only man that could hold me to where I felt safe. He never allowed me to fall, which made getting scrapes and boo boos hard to remember. When I was a young reckless teen, I recall partying with my friends and boyfriend at the time. There stood before me a small tiny white fence that didn’t even go past my knees. As drunk as I was, I’m surprised that I can even remember this story. But clear as day I see the memory as if it were yesterday. I jumped over that tiny white fence that didn’t even touch my knees in length and landed in a way that recreated a whole new bone system in my left ankle, and I say this with a giggle. Long story short, I broke my ankle and tore ligaments causing excruciating pain that did go past my knees. Again, I giggle. However, the most gripping part of that story is that while they wheeled me in a hospital bed to the operating room, I could see my daddy crying like a baby. I remember thinking to myself that it’s just surgery. Then fearing that maybe it was something much more serious and no one wanted to tell me. So needless to say, I went into anesthesia thinking I was going to die, and coming out wondering why I didn’t! Again, a giggle. I soon found out that my daddy cried the way that he did, because of me. Because I was his Princess and his only baby girl. I started to choke up at the thought of his broken heart. It

was then that I realized just how much he did love me, and how much he was willing to give up. His life for mine, I’m sure that’s how he thought. It’s how he always thought. My siblings, my mother and I were my daddy’s main concern. He worked long days and at times leaving for weeks and months just to provide all that he did. He would shower us with amazing gifts and stories from other countries, and places visited during his military work. A Master Chief at work, and a Master cook at home. Oh how I miss my papi. The man who stood so high. He was respected and loved by so many, including me. There are times when I grip tightly at my chest because the man that once hovered over me when I was so little, covering me in the scent of his cologne has suddenly gone away. But God already knew me. He knew that my earthly daddy was my hero. He bottled every tear that I cried in my pain, only to give them back for tears of joy. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. (Psalm 30:5) There are so many more people out there feeling as if they were abandoned, lost, and tossed around with no daddy to call on. But let this article whisper God’s truth, that He is the only Father that you will ever need. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to

fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. (Romans 8:15-16) For all the boys, and men out there and even the little girls and women, who have felt incomplete as they watch others with their fathers, walking them down the aisle, playing ball, chatting, discussing favorite teams, singing together, eating sloppy joes, racing cars, etc. Know that you have a mighty Father who holds you in the palm of His hand. A Father who will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous. faith and pray for the sick. So today while I was at work, this elderly patient came in to see me wanting to get home oxygen. All of the sudden we began to talk about God. This lady could barely walk without getting short of breath and she had multiple health issues. I heard the Lord tell me to pray for her. So, I obeyed and I felt God all over me as I was praying. This lady began to confess loudly, “Lord, I feel your power! Lord, I feel your power!” She began to week and even kiss me. She jumped up, claimed her healing, and ran

out the building. I believe that God healed her. I am rejoicing. There was a reason why I was called into work today and not my co-worker. God is the master planner for setting up miracles. Hello, I attended your online conference called, “Help! I am single and need help preparing for Boaz.” Before you ended I prayed to God like Gideon. I said, “If I’m getting married this year, then Prophetess has to mention my favorite scripture. As you were ending, you stated quoting Numbers 23:19. Look at God! Love You!

Part of being one flesh means that when your husband is hurting, so are you. Many Christian and nonbelieving husbands alike struggle with sexual sin, whether from there past experiences or from addictions they’ve developed through the years. If you are a wife experiencing pain because of your husband’s sexual sin, please know you are very close to my heart and even closer to God’s heart! Despite your current state, God can restore, reconcile and rebuild your marriage. Let us agree in prayer for your husband’s deliverance. Father God, I come to you today petitioning You for my husband’s freedom. I ask first and foremost that You have mercy on me and forgive me for every sin, wash me and renew my mind in Your word daily making me more like Your son, Jesus every day. Lord, please touch my husband right where he is; I believe you can instantly give him a new heart and a new spirit. I realize that he is operating under the influence of the enemy and can’t not escape on his own. I’m trusting You to set him free and I am standing in the gap petitioning You to bring him humbly to Godly repentance. Set Him free from the demonic spirits of addiction, generational curses, lust, adultery, lewd acts, sexual immorality, sinful fantasies, pornography and every ungodly relationship. I decree and declare that he is set free by the blood of Jesus this very hour. Thank you, Lord for giving my husband a mind to totally surrender his life to you and accept your free and prefect gift of eternal life. Thank you for letting him cry out to you for help and deliverance from everything that keeps them from living a life pleasing to you. Open his spiritual eyes, so he can see the eternal damage of his sexual sins both to himself and to his family. Motivate him to cut off all ungodly habits, relationships, friendships and extramarital encounters in Jesus name. Strengthen him to exercise self-control in every situation. Help him establish healthy habits that keep sin far from him. Give him a mind to choose Godly friends and send Godly men in his life to bless him and enrich him spiritually. Show him how to set aside his own flesh fulfilling pursuits and turn to You for guidance in Jesus name. Father, I thank you for answering my prayers in advance and for working it all together for the good of our marriage and for Your glory! While I am waiting on You to work it out, please give me strength, wisdom and discernment daily to continue to walk faithfully with You. Help me to be strong and courageous, lifting my husband up to You, knowing that You have everything under control and that in due season you will deliver and set my husband free. BREAK FREE FROM SPIRITUAL STARVATION By Amber M. Brown

What are you lacking that has caused you to seek after man before seeking after God? If you know the goodness of the Lord, why do you choose to set yourself up for failure when you can set yourself up for success? We all go through it. We walk in this wilderness called “spiritual starvation” and if not careful, we could be lost forever. We allow the things of this world to make a home within our spirit. They start getting comfortable while day after day we start losing more and more of ourselves. We are to seek God each day, give our worries, feelings, and frustrations over to him, and allow him to heal our hearts and forgive our souls. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy” (1 Peter 2: 9-11). “Wherefore laying aside malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings. as newborn babies, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2:1-3). It is never that easy though! The reason why we get so depressed and hurt is because we start seeking our comfort from the people on this earth who sooner

or later end up hurting us. They end up forming a wound in our heart that can only be healed by the forgiveness of God. See, when we allow ourselves to get this way we not only have to forgive others, but we must ask God to forgive us. We stopped seeking after him and trusting him to make things right. We shied away and forgot who and what we were fighting for. The truth is that you are valuable on earth as well as in heaven, and your happiness means everything to God. He just asks of you that you stay strong in your faith and do not go astray from his love and his promises for you. For if you do, it is easier for the enemy to come after you and make your “moment situation” a “final destination.” “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever” (1 Peter 5:8-11). We will all have those times of hardship when the last thing we want to do is look deep within ourselves and find the WHY, but it is important to stand tall dur-

ing these trying times and say, “I am the reason why I feel this way, I am the reason why I have allowed this to manifest into what it has, but even so, I am also my way out.” You have allowed the enemy to break you down and make you feel like you don’t deserve happiness; that you were someone of hope and faith but are now walking lost and with no direction. Now is the time you must stop blaming the world and the actions of others, and start praying for God to prepare you mentally to handle what comes your way, so that the next time this happens, you will not shy away from God’s Word but you will hunger for God’s Word. “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 11-14). How long must go by, how many sleepless nights must you have, until you are willing to work towards making room for God not just in the good times, but also in your dark times? What are you fighting for?

Break free from spiritual starvation and find your strength in the Word of God. No more running and no more feeling sorry for yourself. Get up, dust yourself off, and get out of the dark hole that you threw yourself in. Pray and seek God’s face. Ask him for a rope to grab unto that will be big enough to get you out of the mess that you have caused not only with others but with yourself. When you starve yourself spiritually, you not only hurt yourself but you hurt others. People tend to need someone that has a relationship with God, and when you start drifting from the truth, they start drifting from the truth. God needs us to be disciples that he can count on, at all times, not just when we are feeling up to it. He needs us in battle for the hurt and the broken, but also for the saved and the chosen! Put on your full body of armor and allow God to fight your battles. Stand firm in his word each day whether you feel as though you need him or not. Your flesh will lie to you and say that everything is okay, but when you do finally get back in the spirit you are immediately convicted. Which is why we must forgive others, ask God to forgive us, and start moving forward. You cannot stay in this condition because the longer you stay stuck the longer the enemy controls your mind. Today is a new day to break free from starvation. After this day

you will thirst and hunger no more for the food of this world, but you will thirst and hunger for the Bread of Life. God has given you the ability to give up the things of this world and gain everlasting Freedom in him. Today is the day that you give up the things of this world, and you make a new commitment to walk WITH him and FOR him. He is all that you need. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the other things will be provided for you. God is always with you, working for you, and doing mighty things through you! “For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:5-10). Always remember to keep faith filled people around you, keep your heart and spirit in the Word of God, consistently pray for strength each day, and keep your eyes on the prize! MEET DESTINEE’ MERRITT Interviewed By Wylie And Equalla Foster Interviewers: How did you begin acting and modeling?

The Holy Spirit basically called me out and told me to wholly follow Him and from that day on, my relationship with Christ has gotten that much deeper.

Interviewers: How did you envision your future, being that you were not originally interested in acting or modeling?

It was a surprise to me. I was like “Lord, I’m in bible college, what am I doing here!” He told me; He wants to use me!

Destinee: I was into art and doing hair and things of that nature. I tried to apply to a School for Arts, and it seemed that every door I myself tried to walked through just closed and I was always redirected somewhere else. I kept saying “No” to the hair. “No” to the Art. Then, I said “Lord, why does everything

Interviewers: How long have you been saved? Tell us about your journey to meeting Jesus Christ? Destinee: Well, I was actually born in the church. My mother is a minister and I was always in church, even as a child. But Jesus became even more real to me when I graduated high school. There was a day when my mom

Destinee: This is funny because I’m young, and actually I don’t even date. Right now, I’m focused on the Lord and what He wants to do in me and I trust Him when the time is right and the season, God will bring that man into my life and will let me know that it’s him and I won’t have to try and seek out a man

Destinee: Actually, it’s funny, I did not want to act or model. People would come to me on the street and say “you look like a model; you should try modeling!” I would say “I don’t want to.” I thought I was going to go to school to be a doctor. That’s just what I wanted to do. Well, it turned out that the Lord had another plan. He opened the door for me to start modeling, and opportunities for it to happen just came. Now, I’m modeling and acting. I’m just seeking out the Lord, what His plans are for me. It wasn’t something that I myself asked for!

Interviewers: Do you have any books or upcoming acting gigs that you are featured in? Destinee: I’m working on upcoming fashion shows right now, and I don’t have any books that I’ve written yet. In the future I’m sure I’ll write books, but none at this moment. Interviewers: What advice would you give single women in ministry waiting for their husbands?

I’m like “Lord, what do you want me to do?” I just want to be in God’s will and make sure I’m devoted to Him, and when it’s time for me to get married, I’ll get married. Interviewers: What advice would you give to young women to live right before the Lord? Destinee: I would say that being young it is harder. There’s a lot of peer pressure and it’s against culture, so I would tell them to do it unapologetically! And don’t compromise and to make sure they are being obedient to the Lord and ignore the opinions of others. Interviewers: What advice would you give someone not to compromise their walk in God in the entertainment industry?

Destinee: Know why you’re there! What’s your mission? That’s actually a question that I thought for myself. What I got from it was remember why you were sent there. And knowing your mission will help you avoid doing stupid things.

Destinee: No, that hasn’t happened because usually before I take any job or go for any role, we [my family] pray together and ask “Lord, is this where you want me to go, is this what you want me to do?” If I feel “no,” we just won’t even go. I don’t accept everything.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2: 10). According to Paul’s theology, holiness and a life of good works are not substantive, but rather a verb. Is a call to a life of ACTION. We don’t do good works to be save, good works is

the result of our already salvation through the faith of Jesus. “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them— yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” (1 Corinthians 15: 10). Because you are alive in Christ, every one of those char-

acteristics is completely true of you, and you can do nothing to make them more true. You can, however, make these traits more meaningful and productive in your life by simply choosing to believe what God has said about you. You will not be prideful if you do, but you will be spiritually defeated if you don’t.

One of the greatest ways to help yourself grow into maturity in Christ is to continually remind yourself who you are in Him. The more you reaffirm who you are in Christ, the more your behavior will begin to reflect your true identity. Commenting on Romans 6, the necessity of remembering who we are is the way Paul brings his high theology down to the level of practical everyday experience, and he continues his summary: So, in practice we should constantly be reminding ourselves who we are. We need to learn to talk to ourselves, and ask ourselves questions: Don’t you know? Don’t you know the meaning of your conversion and baptism? Don’t you know that you have been united to Christ in His death and resurrection? Don’t you know that you have been enslaved to God and have committed yourself to His obedience? Don’t you know who you are? We must go on pressing ourselves with such questions, until we reply to ourselves: “Yes, I do know who I am, a new person in Christ, and by the grace of God I shall live accordingly. As children of the sinful first Adam, we were obstinate and bad-tempered, helpless and hopeless, having nothing in ourselves to commend us to God. God’s love, however, overruled our unloveliness. Through Christ, God provided a way for us into His family. As God’s adopted child, you have been given a new identity and a new name. You are no longer a spiritual orphan; you are a son or daughter of God. As a child in God’s family you have become a partaker of His divine nature. “Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them

you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” (2 Peter 1: 4). What does it mean that we have being made part of God’s divine nature? “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5: 17) If you are beginning to think you are someone special as a Christian, you are thinking right—you are special! Your specialty is not the result of anything you have done, of course. It is all God’s doing. We are what we are by the grace of God. All you did was respond by faith to God’s invitation to be His child. As a child of God, in union with Him because you are in Christ, you have every right to enjoy your special relationship with your heavenly Father. How important is it to know who you are in Christ? Countless numbers of Christians struggle with their day to day behavior because they labor under a false perception of who they are. I know, for a period of 2 ½ years I served as a pastor for some of these folks. They consider themselves sinners who hope to make it to heaven by God’s grace, but they can’t seem to live above their sinful nature and tendencies. Look again at the hope filled words of 1 John 3: 1 – 3: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as

he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.” What is the believer’s hope? That you are a child of God now, who is being conformed to the image of God. The person who has this hope “purifies himself ” and begins to live according to who he or she really is. You must believe you are a child of God to live like a child of God. “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1: 27). See yourself for who you really are: We need a firm grip on the truth of God’s Word before we will experience much success at practical Christianity. We need to understand who we are as a result of who God is and what He has done. A fruitful Christian life is the result of living by faith according to what God said is true.

PROPHETESS TAMARA MCNAIR HICKS Interviewed By Kimberly Hargraves Interviewer: I watched one of your dream scopes and I was just blown away. I said wow, she has so much revelation. She is very anointed and gifted. I wanted to ask you: how did you know you had the gift to interpret dreams? When did it start? Prophetess: I did not know that I had the gift to interpret dreams for a long time. I know that I dreamed a lot of dreams. One day when I was in high school, my mom was talking to someone on the phone. The lady was telling my mom her dream and my mom was talking about it out loud and as she was saying what it was, I knew what it meant. I always knew what my own dreams meant but I wasn’t sure that it was a gift. I just knew what my dreams meant. I didn’t realize at that time that it was the gift of interpretation, I just knew what my dreams meant. Now others people dreams, I knew the same thing. Now my mom was telling me about the dream the lady had and I said, “Oh this is what it means.” So my mom had me call the lady back on the phone to tell her what her dream meant. This was in high school. I always had been able to know

what my dreams meant since I was like 6 or 7 years old. I have been dreaming for a long time. I always knew what my own dreams meant, but I had no idea that I knew what other people dreams meant or that it was a gift. I realize that in high school that I do know. Interviewer: How did you know that you were called as a prophet? Prophetess: I had a dream that I was a prophet. I grew up in a Baptist church. We didn’t really talk about prophets. When I was younger, 12 or 13 I went to another church that was a full gospel Baptist church and they talked about it there but not much. I had a dream that I was in my old house. I was sitting on my bunk bed when I was a kid. In this dream, the Lord spoke to me. He said, “ You are a prophet.” I didn’t know what a prophet was at that time. Yet in the Bible, it tells you that God will tell you that you are a prophet in a dream or vision. Now I didn’t even know that scripture at that time. But in the dream God said, “There are some prophets I have right now and they are not

doing what I said to do.” Then he showed me the prophets in a hologram and He said, “You are going to replace them.” When I woke up from that dream, I asked a few friends of my mines that went to a Pentecostal church what a prophet was. They did know what a prophet was. They were like what? Then I told them about the dream I had about the Lord telling me that I was a prophet. They were like “That’s good. Just keep on believing God.” At that point, I knew I was a prophet but I had no idea what the prophetic really was. The Lord actually told me in a dream. Then he called me through Jeremiah. I was reading scriptures. I read a lot even as a young child. I used to read the Bible a lot. He gave me the scripture, “Before I formed thee in thy mother’s womb, I knew thee and ordained you as prophet to the nations.” Later on I still didn’t know what a prophet was but as I was reading the Bible, I seen that scripture again and it hit me like a ton of bricks. So at that time, I came to that understanding. Interviewer: Wow. That’s similar to my experience. I am an

emerging prophet. I had a visitation from the Son of Man. One day, I kept seeing this man with this pure white face, red eyes, and he had a sword in his mouth going back and forth. I couldn’t get his face out of my mind’s eye. It was scaring me because I kept seeing it. I asked the Holy Spirit what that was and he said, “I seen him in His Glory.” I was led to go to Revelation chapter 1 and I came across the description of the man I kept seeing in my mind’s eye. It did something to me. That’s how I got called. I just had all these visions about Jesus. I wanted to ask you about your school of the prophets because I didn’t know what a prophet was either when I got called. How often do you do your training? Prophetess: The Lord really pushed me into it. I really didn’t want to do it. I do the school of the prophets. I train people in the prophetic. I do dreams and visions. I do spiritual warfare and I do the art of hearing God. Then I rotate those. When I first started, I was doing every other month or every two months. Now because I do more dreams and visions, I still try to do every other month, but do dreams and visions. I also have a mentorship program. Within that program, we do like 5 pods. The first mentorship program, we do dreams and visions and do the mentorship. The second part, we do the prophetic. Every class, there is spiritual warfare and the art of hearing God too in that pod. We are actually working right now to get us a training

center. We want to move and open up a full school. The demand has been so great for rain fire ministry. We haven’t been doing rain fire that many years. I have actually been in ministry much longer. Yet when the Lord told me to do rain fire, I had no idea that it would take off this fast. God has even pushed me. Dreams, visions, and hearing God are the most important. The prophetic, you have to understanding who God is, all those are very important. But if you can’t hear God’s voice, then you can’t understand your dreams and visions. I always teach those classes together because so many people can’t understand God. They can’t really hear him the way they should. Interpretation is so much a reliance on the Holy Spirit. You have to begin to learn to fully rely on the Holy Spirit for dreams, visions, and especially interpretation. To me, it’s a realm that most people don’t tap into. You will hear people talk about it here and there but you don’t hear about people pushing into it. Right now, I offer those classes every other month. I rotate them unless the need is rare. People will want dreams and visions, so I have been pushing that one more. Last month, I did two dreams and visions classes together. My next class will start next month. They are like every other month. I am taking the time out right now to write my book. Interviewer: I wanted to ask you, how would someone know if their dream is from God or

not? I know a lot of people have dreams and they want to blame it on pizza. Prophetess: There are a couple of indicators. They are just indicators if you will know you are having a prophetic dream or not. One indicator is there are going to be colors of the dream. Most prophetic dreams are very vivid and they are usually very brightlike strong colors. That’s one indicator. Another indicator will be how much will you remember it. Sometimes, people always ask me, “Oh I can’t remember my dreams.” Well that’s probably not a prophetic dream. Prophetic dreams are usually burned into your memory. “Like I had this dream.” “This dream is burned into my mind.” The other thing you want to look at is that there are no dull colors or no black or white colors. If you dream about black or white or dull colors, then it is usually a dream of the enemy. Dull dreams are enemy dreams. Black and white dreams are usually what the enemy wants to tell you about his plan for your life. For example, You can have a dream with color and some parts black and white. The color part is what God wants to say to you. The black and white part is what the enemy’s plans for your life is. Interviewer: Is there any way that you can cover your dreams? For instance, sometimes the enemy will try to mess with me in my sleep versus when I am awake.

Prophetess: Yes. Absolutely. We have like night terrors to your dreams. There are even Flesh dreams. I do this with my kids. It’s a very simple prayer you pray. You ask God to block off anything the enemy has to speak to you. That’s all you have to do. Cover your dream. It works so well. I used to have night terrors. I used to get up and run. Of course I had the spirit of fear that I had to deal with. But guard your dreams, and declare that there is no open door that the enemy can come into. Before you go to bed say, “Lord I need you to send your angels to cover me and that there will be no open doors that they can come into.” People that deal with the spirit of fear are different. That’s because it’s a spirit of fear that you have to deal with. You will have to get some deliverance from fear. Interviewer: Yes, I am learning. I used to have anxiety for five years. I noticed that’s when I used to have the most night terrors when I had the spirit of fear but now since God is taking me through deliverance I don’t have those dreams anymore like that. Prophetess: I have to write my book on fear. It’s a process. The devil tries to attack with fear immediately. When you are a child, the enemy tries to give it to you immediately. When I say I used to have the spirit of fear, it took me some years to leave the spirit of fear. It affected every area of my life. I was scared of everything. I was scared of my shadow. It was ridiculous. God

had to really walk me through deliverance from that spirit. It affected to the point where I didn’t even want my gift. One of my gifts is that I can see spirits on people. I can see demonic spirits. The first time the gift was open, I said, “Um no.” Interviewer: How do they look like? Prophetess: They look different. For example, say if someone is dealing with a spirit of homosexuality. The spirit looks like the person but it’s attached to them in a certain kind of way. It can be attached to their side. It’s weird. What some people see is different. My friend sees animals. Some of them do look like

animals. I see like monkeys on people’s back. But that’s usually like an addiction. Sometimes the demon looks transparent to me. It will come out their face. I will be looking at a person and the demon will manifest and go back. I used to be scared of people’s faces for a long time. But the Lord had to show me. Once I got delivered from the spirit of fear and took authority over the spirit. I recognize why I was seeing the spirit, for deliverance. I see snakes wrapped around people’s spinal columns. I see metal plates over their minds which means they are dealing with doubt or unbelief. These spirits manifest differently depending on what it is. The Lord showed me in different ways.

out. Interviewer: Amen. We decree it and declare it in Jesus name. Prophetess: Amen. I receive it. Interviewer: That’s so exciting. I am author of 12 books and I love people that write books. Prophetess: Amen. That’s awesome. I have actually written a book before. It was a marriage book and that’s published. It’s a workbook I did. “Love letters to my husband.” I wrote that when I first got married, just trying to get God’s love in the marriage because I was I like I don’t want to be married.

Interviewer: Wow! Jesus! I see dark shadows and snakes before, but I’ve never seen how you see. I want to get to your level. That’s powerful. Prophetess: Well, I seen a lot of shadows before I start seeing a lot of other stuff. I stayed the night at a friend’s house. When I woke up, I was looking over at them. It was a dark shadow standing over them. I asked the Lord what it was. He said death. It wasn’t physical death but it was word curses spoke over their life. So when people speak word curses, it actually becomes a form of death. That’s what it looks like. So when I see it, I know that people have word curses over them. Maybe leader-

ship have curse that person to bring death to their destiny and purpose. Interviewer: Wow! So you said your book is on fear that you are writing right now? Prophetess: Well, I am doing a dream book. I am actually writing two together, a dream and prayer book. Interviewer: Amen. That’s going to be powerful. Prophetess: I love prayer. The dream book will be called, “Revealing God: A Guide To Understanding Your Dreams And Visions”. Hopefully I will have it done before the end of this month. That’s my goal to push it

Interviewer: That’s beautiful. So how do you balance marriage and ministry? I want to get married again. Prophetess: I have two small kids, 6 and 7. It requires a lot of patience. You have to have a lot of support from your spouse. There’s no way to do it without it. My husband is not prophetic. Right now, he is working on his own men’s ministry group within our group. He’s kind a newbie to the ministry. He’s got the background and the kids. I just try to make sure that I have time for my children. It is important to have time with them. I don’t want to be the person whose kids grow up as the bad preacher kids. Family is so important. I never want my kids to be left out. My daughters are very prophetic. I have an older son from

my first marriage and he’s 19. In the back of my mind, I don’t ever want to do anything great for God and turn around and my kids have been left. I try to pour into them. I try to do things with them. I think a lot of ministries are torn apart that way. Marriage is your first ministry. You have to take the time out to plan a family plan. That’s what we are doing now. Our life took a whole another turn. So we have to have to have a new family plan. Interviewer: That’s what I need. I need a family plan. I have two small kids too. They are around the same age as your kids. That’s good wisdom. That’s good advice. Prophetess: Apostle Eckhardt came to my page one day. He said someone told him to watch me on scope. I went on periscope because the Lord told me too. I haven’t been in ministry that long. I was on periscope with my twenty eight people talking about dreams and visions. John Eckhardt shared the scope. It went from 20 people one day to 10,000 the next day. Interviewer: Oh My! That’s God. That’s God. I love it. Prophetess: Yes, that was all God. I was having heart palpitations lol. Interviewer: I can relate because I remember one time he got on my scope and he shared me. I had to get off early because I was about to start panicking. I never had that many people on

my scope before. I was so used to having like 20 people on the scope too. [Laughs] Prophetess: Yes [Laughs]. I know we are preparing for things but God has always prepared you. It’s just that you don’t know it yet. Interviewer: Oh Jesus! That’s the true right there. Prophetess: I seen your scopes before. Tron Moses shared you a few times. You do really good. Interviewer: Thanks for the kind words, woman of God. This is my wilderness season and I got called into the office of prophet. I wanted to be a doctor. Now my life is upside down. Prophetess: Isn’t that something? Well I graduated from law school. God told me to go to law school. So when I finished, I thought I was going to go into this big career of law. Then the Lord said, “Go into full time ministry.” I would always have dreams about law school. I was working for Chrysler financial and I was fine. In the dreams, I was at my old high school. There were these pictures on the wall and he was talking to me. He was wearing all white. He was touching these pictures. The pictures were me at different ages of my life. Every little segment was saying, “ I want to be a lawyer.” It was funny because when I was in kindergarten, I had drew this picture of me with a brief case. But each segment showed me where I wanted to be a lawyer.

The man in my dreams spoke to me and said, “God has always ordained for you to go to law school but you don’t have to go. Your life will only be here.” He showed me this level. He said, “You will still have a good life but you will never be able to obtain everything that God has for you if you don’t go.” Then I woke up. Needless to say, I told the Lord that I wasn’t going still but I took the LSAT. I went to apply to one law school and I waiting to hear from them. I was at work at my desk and I received a really strange phone call. This lady began to talk to me about a summer program and asked me to try it. I went to the summer program and got into law school. I graduated and then the Lord told me to go into full time ministry. I tried to do it while taking a job but I could not get a job. I was working at a bookstore, and the Lord said nope. Interviewer: Wow! The Lord was rerouting you. Prophetess: Yes. The Lord took me down. He took me to my wilderness for real. I know what you mean. You have your dreams and inspirations, things you want to do. I wanted to be an actress. We do have a theater company. My mom has a theater company were we traveling around and do plays. Interviewer: I think you will do good. [Laughs] Prophetess: We have a conference this year, and will do one

of the plays. The Lord said no actress. You are a prophet. You are going to go to nations. This is what you are going to do. So, I surrendered it. Interviewer: So, what’s the name of your conference? Prophetess: Dream scope. This will be the 2nd year for it. We did it last year. It had a good turnout. We might try to do it twice. One in North Carolina and one in Chicago. But we shall see. Interviewer: I need to come if it’s in North Carolina. Will it be in Charlotte? Prophetess: Yes, you have to come. No, it will be in High Point. This church that I was at this past weekend, they want to have it at their church. Interviewer: Ok. That will be a blessing. I was just in High Point in September. What do you believe God wants to do this year in the body of Christ? Prophetess: Yes, I remember you said you were from North Carolina. One thing I believe that God is doing is truly bringing us back to a place of intimacy with him. In that, he is fortifying our weaknesses. He is bringing some things in our lives. He wants to bring miracles, goodness, and things we have never seen before. I believe the visions are going to be crazy this year. I believe the miracles will be crazy this year but before we can get to it, God has to do some things in

our lives. God has to really test those areas in our lives and we really have to surrender to God. But once we really get through that and allow God to teach things. I believe God is really going to set things on fire this year. I believe revival is going to take place. I believe we will see demonstration that we have not seen ever in the body of Christ. So I have been really pressing people to get back into prayer and allow God to search us and get those things out that’s not of him. I always tell people to be open to see new. I believe that we haven’t seen new in the body of Christ. I think we are repackaging old. Interviewer: That’s true. Prophetess: I was praying to God one day about transgender people who now are saved. The people who actually had a sex change. I was thinking it was unfair because now they have to live their lives stuck because they already had the operation. They have given their lives to God and renounced the confusion of perversion. Now they are stuck in that body. The Lord said to me one day, “Am I not God? If I can give a miracle. If I can make limbs grow. If I can fix your body, then why can’t I send them back the way they were. What people do is box me in. If I am the God of miracles, then I can do all of that in the Glory.” I am excited to see what God will do in the Glory. He is going to raise up a lot of fire ministries, healing ministries, and miracles ministries. People need to signs

and wonders and the demonstrations. I believe God will do something new. I don’t mean new packaged stuff. Something new before like someone who walks into the Glory as a man and come out a woman. Interviewer: Jesus! That’s going to be powerful! My God. I want to ask you one more questions. I don’t want to keep you all day but I am enjoying this so much. How can someone get increase revelation to flow prophetically? Prophetess: When I asked God to increase my prophetic flow, you have to become best friends with the Holy Spirit. You have to find intimacy with God in prayer. There are dimensions in prayer you go where God will reveal things. The scripture says, “God reveals all things, the deep things of God.” Revelation comes from the Holy Spirit. If you aren’t friends with the Holy Spirit then you aren’t praying to God the way you should; that means that you aren’t praying. If you want revelation, you got to get back in your prayer mode and seek the Holy Spirit. You have to even tell him you want to be his friend. You have to be friends with the Holy Spirit because He shows you all that. Interviewer: That’s good. I like that. That’s good advice. Thank you for the interview. I really enjoyed it. This is what I believe the Lord is saying to His daughters in this season: My daughters are filled with so much worth and value. In this season I am causing their qualities to surface. The month of May was one in which many were tested and tried by the fire of affliction. This was a necessary part of the process. I needed to burn away old things: the old mindsets; the habits; the things that no longer serve a purpose for where I am taking you. I want my daughters to have the capacity to hold the new wine and the new oil that I am sending them this month. Old things had to pass away for I have made all things new. Do not continue to grieve over the things that had to come to an end. Many have experienced the loss of a job, a friendship, and even romantic relationship within the last month. Although painful, all are apart of my perfect plan. I will repay in the next few seasons and give you restoration. I am faithful to resurrect everything that has died in your life. Do you trust me? Do you understand that I am after something? I’ve come to retrieve the gifts and callings that I’ve placed inside of you from the beginning of time, for I have need of them. They are like precious stones to me and I will use them in this season to adorn my kingdom. I am revealing who you are to the world. The intercessor, the servant, the prophet, the business owner, the woman I have ordained you

to be will be uncovered in this season. Behold, divine connections, favor, increase, and expansion will all be drawn to my light that radiates from you. Like precious stones refined by my fire are you faithful ones who have secretly cultivated your gifts and talents. Those who have previously been overlooked will now be promoted for my glory! You will be used to expand my kingdom here on earth. You will win the lost for me. My darling, the process has made you shine ever so brightly. I marvel at your beauty, and the entire world will as well as I begin to reveal all that I have stored up on the inside of you over the years. But first, I want you to have revelation of your own worth and value, to see yourself as I see you. I would no longer care to see my daughters tarnish themselves for the wrong men who sell them false dreams of love and romance. HOLINESS SUITS YOU my daughter. I would have my daughters to know that they don’t have to compromise for love. For my love is all that you need. Come to me with all that entangles you. Watch me set you free. I want all that you are, including your struggles. Share them with me, let these tests and trials bring us even closer together. Allow me to crown you with my love and to bind your broken heart. I am faithful to answer your prayers concerning a husband. Trust in me. Wait one me. I will keep you. Your heart’s

desires will surely manifest. In my perfect timing, I will send the man who will be willing and ready to pay the cost of the pearl with a very high price. I would have you know, that even though I liken you to precious stones, that you are even more valuable than they. King Solomon built me a temple to dwell in forever, filled with every piece of gold, silver, and precious stone known to man. But, I would rather dwell in you. The gold is mine and the silver is mine but I didn’t die for precious metals, I died to win you. To those who have drifted from me, I am after you. Driven by my fierce love and passion, I will wage war against the prince of this world. You are mine: a gift from my Heavenly Father. I will not stop fighting until I have reclaimed what rightfully belongs to me. Daughters prepare yourselves for the master’s use. Prepare to be revealed, to be pushed into your destiny, your purpose, and your calling. Co-labor with me, steward your gifts, seek my face, run after me and you will be ready to step into all that I have for you. I have located the treasure on the inside of you and now it’s time for me to display you for my glory. Prayer Lord Jesus, thank you for wanting to abide in me. Thank you for coming into my heart. Know your Moisture & Protein Balance! If you find hairs on your shirt, bathroom floor, sink etc. you most likely have a problem with breakage. Breakage normally occurs when there is an imbalance between your moisture and protein levels Moisture Water helps provides the hair with elasticity and the ability to stretch. Water is the ultimate moisturizer that is why water based products are great for moisturizing the hair. Good moisturizers will not contain cheap ingredients like mineral oil, lanolin or petrolatum. They do nothing for the hair but sit on top of it. They seal out the moisture. You don’t want that. Protein Protein gives the hair structure and strength to fight breakage. Protein binds to the hair cuticles to help temporarily rebuild any weakened areas. There are different proteins out there. Some are stronger and milder than other. Daily or weekly use of milder protein treatments can throw off your moisture and protein balance, depending on the individual. Women with relaxed or color treated hair need more protein than others. These chemical services have broken down the protein bonds within the hair.

Some may be protein deficient by nature due to genes or low protein intake so regual protein may be needed to keep the balance in place. Overall, you have to experiment to get to know your own hair.

Elasticity is what allows us to style, stretch, and manipulate our hair without brekage. Too much protein: Hair that breaks with a little amount of tension/stress is a sign of too much protein with a deficiency of moisture. Too much protein and structure makes the hair rigid and stiff lacking elasticity. which leads to breakage prone hair just like Kim. Too much moisture: When our hair is super elastic, it will stretch more because it lacks structure (protein). Overmoisturized hair is “mushy” and overly soft especially when wet. It will feel weak, limp, soggy etc. Overly moisutized hair will stretch first and then break due to the overabundance of moisture.

You’ve been up all night petitioning the Courts of Heaven. Asking for a supernatural healing. Seeking a supernatural miracle. Or simply making a small, simple request. Who knows? But you’ve prayed and you didn’t receive it. What happened? Too often we are quick to tell ourselves it wasn’t God’s Will for us. Well I can only speak for myself and I didn’t fall back on that. Instead, I asked Holy Spirit to reveal where I messed up. What did I do wrong? Let’s make this a learning experience. Throughout the gospels, we are told by the Word (Jesus) in the word to ask in His name and believe. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:19 KJV Here’s the formula for Matthew 18: At least two are in one accord + Asking = Received Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye

shall receive. Matthew 21:21-22 KJV

Jesus mentioned the formula, he gave a prerequisite.

Here’s the formula for Matthew 21:

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. John 15:4-8 KJV

Faith - Doubt + Ask = Receive Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24 KJV Here’s the formula for Mark 11: Desire + Pray + Believe = Receive And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 KJV Here’s the formula for John 14: Ask in His name = Receive If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 KJV Be in Him + Keep His Word in you + Ask = Receive There are plenty others in the gospels. PLENTY MORE! But what good does it do to apply only one or two scriptures and wonder why your prayer isn’t answered. Let’s take the last referenced scripture as an example. Before

What’s the prerequisite? Well you must abide in Him or become a branch that’s been cutoff and sitting next to the vine withering away. So if you are following the formula and meet the prerequisites, then the Word says you shall have what you request. If you don’t receive it, is it not His Will? I ask because too far I’ve heard this lame excuse people use that it wasn’t His Will for someone to receive what they have asked for. It’s like the go to excuse. “I asked,” they say, “but I guess it wasn’t His Will for me to receive it.”

If this is the case, why would the Word tell us over and over to ask? I’ll tell you why! Because His Word and His Will are synonymous. One can’t be without the other. We cannot be within His Will without His Word and vice versa. Again...I ask again why is ‘it wasn’t His Will’ the go to response? Because we are too lazy to ask Him what we did wrong. Where the fault was in us. We don’t humble ourselves and look in the mirror. His Word doesn’t lie. If we follow the formula we shall receive. One thing I do believe, though, is if my heart is aligned with His heart, then my will is definitely aligned with His Will and I’m not asking for anything that goes against it. With this knowledge, I am armed with receiving every time I ask. But let me tell a true story. I asked for something. And I reminded Him that I’m asking according to His Word. I reminded Him that I believed I would receive it...and I didn’t get it. Oh I was upset! I reminded Him of His Word and asked Him what happened. I asked and asked what I did wrong, in anger though. The next day, I was calm about it. Full of repentance. And I asked again: Lord, why didn’t I receive it. I heard only a few words of a scripture and I could have slapped myself in the face. With those few words, Holy Spirit

reminded me that I’d prayed the complete opposite to what I was currently praying at one time. I mean COMPLETE opposite. Standing on a different word. I could’ve laughed but instead, a peace like no other came over me: be careful what you pray and know what you’ve prayed before. So was it God’s Will for me to receive what I asked for. It sure was! What happened? I messed it up. So before we go blaming God, the Son, or His Spirit for something, maybe we should look at ourselves. What have we not done that we should have done? Are we in complete obedience? Is there a smidgen of sin that’s caused us to be cut off? Are there ‘what ifs’ lurking around cancelling out faith? If we’ve done what we are supposed to do, then the formula works 100% of the time and we SHALL receive what we request. Guaranteed! So stop blaming anyone but yourself when you don’t receive.
