~You Have to GO through to GET through~ By Vera L. Smith Life isn’t always peaches and cream every day brings new challenges. Sometimes these things really upset and disturb our spirit, we must learn to push through NO matter what! Exodus 14:21(ESV) Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. Now I know that we have all been through some things. I remember a time when my
husband and I were on our second (yes I said second) separation that one was the hardest for me because he had decided he wanted out! I could do nothing to convince him otherwise. There were so many things going on in our lives and now he just wanted to up and leave really? What was he thinking we had a 1 year old and a kid in college? Little did I know that this was a phase I had to go through in order to get through. Sometimes God has to take us through a wilderness experience to get our minds completely focused on Him. Often times when
this happens we were just like the Israelites murmuring and complaining not realizing that what God had planned was so much better, if we just let Him part the sea! Today’s Ruby: When going through remember if you trust God He will part the sea and take you into the Promised Land. Prayer: Heavenly Father, Please help me to not murmur and complain as I go through this process, for I know every diamond starts out as a lump of coal. In Jesus name. Amen

Tissues
There are three types of fibers designed to generate force: Skeletal muscle- striated, voluntary tissue found attached to bones. Cardiac muscle- striated, involuntary, branched, have intercalated discs. Smooth muscle- nonstriated, involuntary, spindle shaped cells. Connective tissue is the most abundant body tissue & consists of cells and abundant matrix with relatively few cells. Cell types include fibroblasts (secrete matrix), macrophages (perform phagocytosis), plasma cells (secrete antibodies), mast
cells (produce histamine), adipocytes (store fat), and white blood cells (migrate from blood in response to infections). The ground substance and fibers make up the matrix. The fibers in the matrix are of three types: collagen fibers, elastic fibers, & reticular fibers . Connective tissue is divided into several subtypes: loose or dense connective tissue, cartilage.
3 types of cartilage: Hyaline cartilage, Elastic cartilage, and Fibrocartilage Nervous tissue is made of neurons and neuroglia. Neurons have three subtypes: Sensory neurons, Interneurons, and Motor neurons Neurons have a cell body (soma), an axon, and one or more dendrites.

By Kimberly Hargraves Problem Statement: Obesity affects over 30% of our population1. Obesity is determined by many determinants. Some determinants of the central nervous systems are signals such as hormones and neurotransmitters that circulate in the blood. These signals control the amount of glucose, fatty acids, and amino acids in the blood. When the glucocorticoid receptors are stimulated, there is an increase in the utilization of carbohydrate to promote fat storage, and reduce sympathetic activity to conserve energy1. The hypothalamus controls the ingestion and deposition, corticosterone inside it has a preference for fat intake, greater body weight, and adiposity1. Other determinants of obesity are neurotransmitter and neuropeptides. Neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine increase cortisol levels during stress with increases body fat. Disturbances in neuropeptides will lead to abnormal patterns of eating and body weight gain1. A peripheral physiological determinant is the chosen meal size by central modulation such as positive and negative feedbacks1. Leptin
is a genetic determinant that is synthesized in adipocytes or fat cells. Its main purpose is to coordinate the responses of brain neuropeptide and neurotransmitter pathway to provide a situationally appropriate regulation of food intake, metabolic rate, energy balance, and fat storage1. Lastly, other determinants of obesity are the amount of physical activity and sociocultural influences.
Proposed Recommendation Statement: Educating the public so they can understand the central, peripheral, genetic, sociocultural determinants of obesity is essential. Educating health professional will warrant that they can recognize various causes of obesity and recommending counseling for various causes of obesity and emotional causes. More research is needed to understand the many proposed questions on the genetic influences of obesity. Increase recreational activities in areas with a high prevalence of obesity. Bring access to quality nutrient dense foods and build less fast restaurants in targeted areas. By bringing healthier
options in targeted areas, the availability of making healthier choices increases. Marketing in targeted area to increase the health awareness by having a community event is another method. Lastly, less advertisement of less healthier foods in the area will help.
Potential Unintentional Consequences: Healthcare providers may have a lack of interest. Public may have resistance to a cause a behavioral change. Finding source of funds to implement the awareness program will be a consequence. Ease of Implementation: Possible complications include the cost of research, awareness programs, employment costs, and building grocery stores. Federal funding may not be available, small communities may not be able to support the program. Further cost includes printing costs, media outlet costs, and organization costs. 1. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 says, “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same
Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.�
ing, gift of working of miracles, gift of prophecy, gift of discerning of spirits, gift of tongues, and interpretation of tongues. The Holy Spirit distributes the spirit as he wills or chooses too. The gifts of the spirit are manifestations of the Holy Spirit. We need to have communion or fellowship with the Holy Spirit in order to see these gifts manifested.
There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit: Word of wisdom, word of knowledge, spirit of faith, gift of heal-
Word of wisdom: The gift of wisdom is the wisdom of God. It is the supernatural impartation of facts;

it is not natural. You can’t earn it. It is received from God through prayer (Ephesians 1:17).1 Ephesians 1:17 says, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” Word of Wisdom is a revelatory gift. In other words, you are seeing life from God’s perspective. Let’s look at some examples: Acts 23:6 says, “But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.” Matthew 22:15-22 says, “Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. And he
saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.” Luke 4:1-14 says, “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” Dear Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins. You are Holy and Righteous. I exalt you, Lord. Lord, I desire to have the gift of the word of wisdom. Lord, I ask for a supernatural download of revelation and insight. Lord, keep me humble. Lord, give me wisdom so I can use this gift to bring you glory and bless your people. Thank you for answering this prayer in Jesus’s name. LUCK VERSUS BLESSING By Kimberly Hargraves
March is the month were most people celebrate the Irish Holiday, St. Patrick’s Day. This when people have to wear the color green and if they don’t they pinched. You will hear people say, “You are supposed to wear green for good luck.” Some people believe that four leaves clovers are good luck. Other people believe that little short men called leprechauns bring good luck. They believe that you will find a pot of gold by the end of a rainbow. Honestly, this all sounds like foolishness and deep mythical traditions of the Irish culture. A lot of Christians are still caught up in superstition and celebrate this holiday. If we serve God and believe in him then we need to believe what the word says. The word luck is not used in the bible. There is no such thing that says wearing green brings good luck in the bible. As believers, we shouldn’t believe in luck but believe in blessings. According to Merriam-Webster, luck is defined as the following: the things that happen to a person because of chance for instance the accidental way things
happen without being planned; good fortune or good luck; success in doing or getting something. The first known use of luck was circa (year) 1584. Now let’s define blessing. Merriam-Webster defines this as approval that allows or helps you to do something; help and approval from God; something that helps you or brings happiness. The first known use of blessing was in the 12th century. The two terms sound similar however, they aren’t. Blessings, don’t happen by chance or by accident. As believers we are already blessed by the covenant we have with God. Some blessings are based on covenants such as the Abrahamic or Davidic. Other blessings are based on our obedience to God. When we believe in luck, we open up the door to the enemy especially witchcraft. We fall into the trap of believing that something bad will happen to us if we don’t wear green. We also open ourselves up to look to other beings such as leprechauns to be the source of our blessings and that’s idolatry. Christians are called to
be set apart and to be different. If you become a friend of the world, you become an enemy to God. Let’s pray: Dear Heavenly Father, You are worthy! I repent of my ignorance for celebrating Holidays that set me up to believe in luck and open up the door of idolatry in my life. Please forgive me and give me deeper insight and revelation concerning St. Patrick’s day. Lord, help me choose my words wisely and give me a greater understanding of what luck is compared to blessings. noun 1. a call to take part in a contest or competition, especially a duel. Not everyone chooses to change for the better. In fact, some love the idea of being who they are in the present and refuse to change at all. They hold
old habits that have stuck with them for years. Whether it be smoking, drinking, doing drugs, cussing, lying etc. They know it’s wrong, but yet refuse to give it all up for their own good. As far as trying to create good habits, they’d rather die. So how does one turn from the “once was” to the “is now” person? Very simple. Stop trying to accept a challenge that leads you to the fall! We all too often believe that we’re in some kind of contest. Where “if” we do good, we win the trophy and “if” we don’t, we fail! Rather than believe that change is no
contest and whether we make it or not, “trying” is the most valuable part of our endeavor. If we try, we win either way. My daddy always encouraged me with an old saying, “You’ve never failed, unless you’ve failed to try.” The truth is, I never tried. Until I met with God, that is. Although my daddy encouraged me with words of wisdom, my Father In Heaven encouraged me with struggles. He taught me that in my struggles I would learn and therefore my entire heart, deep inside would want to change. I’d want to do the best things possible in

order to change from the inside out. Soon, my change would not be a challenge and so therefore it wasn’t a contest I had to win. I simply just gave all to God, and in turn received a change that made me feel comfortable in my own skin. I was a woman of God. Deep in my change I found faith, wisdom, peace, and strength. For once in my life I knew I had done something right. Little by little my change would advance. I’d get better with it, and it would motivate me to continue my walk. However, there were times I didn’t do so well, inviting my old habits back into my life. I’d make excuses as to why I needed to use these bad habits again. Why was it so Important for me to scam again; what were my reasons? If you had asked me that same question the day I needed to utilize my scamming techniques, I would have given you a number of reasons, all legit, and yet all self seeking. But ask me that question right now, and I can honestly tell you, “there was no reason!” It took a while for God to break me of old habits, and as the old saying goes, “old habits are hard to break!” But God did it! He found a way for me to drop who I was, and show off who I am! Change came, when I didn’t have to challenge myself. I simply made the decision to drop everything and follow Christ. I knew I would have to let go of all the things I once saw as victory and wait for the true victory from God. The question here would be, was I ready? Ready to do someone else’s will? Because as far as I knew, doing the “better” things was definitely not my will.
So I soaked in the thought and hoped that I would turn from a place I saw as my world, my plan. Sure enough, God showed me that life would not come easy, but that it would be so worth it. He removed all the things I challenged myself and Him with, and that’s when I made the incredible discovery that with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Could all of the challenges in life be removed when we do our best to please a God that loves His children so much? My answer today is yes! Yes, God can take the things we challenge the most and eliminate them from our lives, when we decide that it’s not about us, but about our Creator, God. It’s when we are able to throw our hands up and ask God to take control of what we cannot. When I look back at my life before, I giggle and almost always wonder how I could ever choose a life that was so reckless? A life that was headed no where. Where in my plan did I think about my loved ones, and the people around me? When was I able to breathe in between? How was the suffering I succumbed to satisfying? The difference from my suffering then, to this very day has given me perseverance. (Romans 5:3) Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; and a reason to run the race that my brother in Christ, Paul ran so
faithfully, (2 Timothy 4:7) I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Today, my life has been renewed. A relationship with God restored. I am not the person I used to be, and because my change is from the inside out, nothing can remove the fire My Father in Heaven has ignited deep within my soul. There is however, one more thing I’d like to add. A challenge into your life that will start a fire in your soul, and that challenge is that you bring all that you’ve got to the cross, and watch how God will turn you into the person you thought you’d never see. God taught me a few valuable lessons, but one that will always stay close to me. I chased a million things, yet not one of those things loved me enough to make me the woman I am today. Yes I struggle, but I quickly look up. I no longer challenge myself, because God is my goal, and no matter how fast or how slow I run, God’s waiting at the finish line with the victory banner He promised me, when I was discouraged, weak, and vulnerable. Change comes when we choose God wholeheartedly. He’s in the midst of all the things you see as a challenge and becomes your way out. When things get tough, He stands in the storm making sure that all the challenges you have ever faced, melt away, as you rise up. It’s nice to look back at yesterday and truly believe that you’re alive for God’s greater purpose!

FAITH JOURNEY By Nickie Mccoy
Often times in life we speak of the amount of faith we have in God and in what we believe He’s capable of doing in our lives, but in reality it’s not until our darkest moments in life that we are able to truly measure the amount of faith we possess. It’s in these times that we find ourselves wrestling in our minds with thoughts of faith paralyzing worry and fear of how our circumstances appear impossible for us to overcome. In these difficult seasons the depth of our love and commitment to God will be tested, as the once solid foundation of our lives is shaken and the very things and people we once depended on for stability are strategically removed. This is when we find out not only our measure of faith but also if we will continue to desire His presence and remain loyal to nurturing our relationship with Him or if we will waiver in our faith, drift away from seeking His face, and eventually end up in a state of confusion and chaos in our lives, eventually sending us once again running back into the refuge and safety of His loving arms.
One thing I’ve learned in facing these desert seasons in life, is the importance of a renewed mind-set with a constant daily deposit of the living Word of God in our spirits. With a renewed mind and the promises of God etched on our hearts we can then become equipped for battle to cast down those breakthrough stealing thoughts of unbelief and lies that the enemy drops in our minds by replacing those thoughts with the truth of the Word. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV: 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Once we have conquered our thought life, we must then learn the importance of praising God for our breakthrough, even when we don’t see how it’s going to happen. As we begin to realize that even when the
situation looks unfavorable to the physical eye in the spiritual realm our immovable faith, fervent prayers, spirit deep worship, and sacrificial giving move the heart of God and thus follows His hand in releasing our breakthrough with a supernatural turnaround for our lives. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. The Bible tells us in Psalms 34: 8-10: O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. 9 O fear the Lord, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him. 10 The young lions do lack, and hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Becoming empowered with the truth we no longer have to face difficult seasons in life with the attitude of defeat but we can look at these seasons as faith strengthening, soul purifying seasons, where God desires us to draw closer and go deeper in Him as He matures us, transforms us, molds us, and prepares us to walk in our purpose as the men and women of God are destined to be.

Isaiah 61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” If there is one thing I have learned in my life it is the fact that God has a plan. And I want you to know that no
matter how hard and rough the walk of faith becomes for you, that God’s ability to help you is limitless! Jesus Christ told you and I that the very same authority that shut the lion’s mouth in the den for Daniel, the same power that parted the Red Sea for the Israelites and the same life force that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in you! It is the power of His Kingdom! If you will put the Kingdom of God first, all your needs shall be supplied! I am talking about it all! Including emotional, spiritual, mental and physical needs! Jesus died on the cross and met every single need you and I have! You have got to learn to appropriate by faith! Never ever think that you
are too far gone, or that your situation is too bad, or that you wasted too much in your life! God never quits on you! He will take the broken pieces of your life and He will restore you! I fully understand that there are so many people in today’s world who are hurting, broken and losing hope. These precious people are undergoing a real and devastating pain. I am fully aware that facing trials and tragedies can be extremely difficult! It is then you must appropriate the victory Jesus Christ gave you by faith. In the midst of the heart ache and despair, you must find the hope and courage to move on! Maybe even right now as you are reading this arti-

cle, you are thinking “I do not know how in the world I can get through this” and you are feeling confused, lonely, fearful and even angry. HANG ON! As difficult as this situation may be at the present moment, you are not alone! God is there for you! He loves you more than you can even comprehend. God cares about every single facet and phase of your life! Your Heavenly Father hears your cries and sees your pain and He understands! So please, “Hang on! God will make a way! He will turn it around! Don’t quit! You are on the verge of your breakthrough! If he can do it for me, He will do it for you!” I know sometimes the words seem meaningless, but they are truth! I fully understand that the spirit of despair is very real. Spiritual darkness over our nation and world is ever more oppressive than it ever has been. But God never leads His people into a desolate situation to die. Your Father protects us even in the worst of times. It is in those times you and I have to learn to depend on Him more. You have to be confident that as you seek Him diligently, He will provide for you! God is not limited by the stock markets, the spiritual wickedness that is prevailing against our young people or new diseases that are forming each and every day. ABSOLUTELY NOT! He is still GOD! And GOD is still GOOD! Please understand that if you are going through dismal
trials or tests, it is all part of your story. The master writer has already written it. You just have to walk through it. The only thing you have to do is keep getting through each chapter. Your bright future is going outshine your dark past! If you are sobbing right now, get ready to shout! If you are pain right now, get ready to praise! God is about ready to turn your test into a testimony and your mess into a message! He is going to use what you have been through to set others free! I am prophetically declaring and decreeing to you that your enemy is about to be put under your feet! Move them feet; get out of your seat! It’s time to praise Him! Your drought is about become an oasis! Something that was barren is about to blossom! I know people hurt people. Individuals are human and they will continue to be human. They are incapable of being anything less. Maybe there are family members or friends that have hurt so badly and have cut you so deeply that you carry the pain of it yet today. I want to encourage you to forgive them. Let it go. While you may have the right to feel this way, understand that you are withholding the blessings God wants to release to you. If you are willing and ready, God will empower you and release you from the pain and sorrow of those who have abused and used you. Cast that pain on Jesus and I guarantee you He will carry it for you. When you forgive, it frees you from the resentment, anger and bitterness you have carried.

your season of recovery! Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I know, I have been there, beaten, battered, lonely, discouraged and depressed. Even though there were times I wanted to give up, I could not. I kept trusting in God. The fire is painful, but it is a place of refinement. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” I had to come to a new understanding that when people hurt tried to hurt, crush, or discredit me that God had never abandoned me. Others may have walked away. But God never did. He promised He never would leave
my side. He stated He would be closer than a friend or a brother to me. The hard hits that I took my whole life that were meant to take me down were really designed by God to take me up! The Word of God is full of men and women who were perfected during trial and tragedy. The most patient man in the Bible, Job was severally tested in the midst of losing everything. Yet he stayed close to God and to and was rewarded double for his trouble. Even, the great Apostle Paul who wrote two thirds of the New Testament and yet endured much affliction. Multiplied millions of conversions to Christ are his mark on the human race. Remember the enemy will only ASSAULT what God EXALTS!
For those who choose to endure and reap a reward, giving up can never be a choice. People who have purpose change the world. Alexander the great was once asked how he conquered the world, his reply was, “I never wavered.” Try to grasp this Biblical principle: PAIN before PROMOTION; BATTLE before BREAKTHROUGH; VICE before VICTORY! Throughout the pages of your Bible, you will see this principle time and time again! So if you are experiencing TRIALS expect a TRIUMPH! I have realized my purpose I life. It is to bring hurting humanity to the cross of Christ where they can find freedom from the agony and torment and be alleviated

from it through the precious Blood of Christ. I do not want to just live and die. I want to live and die on purpose. I want to live and die for a specific reason. Find your purpose. Fulfill your objective. If you find and fulfill your purpose God will use you in a great and powerful way. Don’t shrink back in fear when the battle comes against you and tells you, “You cannot do what God has called you to do.” Forge ahead with your intent no matter what the cost or the obstacles. You will be greatly rewarded! Go forward in the plan of God for your life. Realize that His power is working in you and through you and that the enemy does not have enough power to destroy you. Understand this; you will continue to survive beyond your circumstances, so do it with purpose! Allow God to turn your pain into praise! I did, and I found it to be very refreshing. 1 Samuel 30 6-8 “Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David. So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” David and his men came
back from Ziklag. The city is burned down to the ground. The wives and children are taken captive. They wept until there was no more power to weep. The people got so disgruntled against David they wanted to kill him. What they forgot was David lost just as much as they did. David did what they did not. David strengthened himself in the Lord. I say unto you, do what they are not doing. While they are gripping and complaining, moaning and groaning; get the ephod, the mantle. Get to God! Inquire of Him as to what steps to take. Notice David said to the priest, “Bring the ephod here to me.” David got in his closet of prayer and sought God and God gave him an answer! God told him to pursue and as he pursued he would recover all. I tell you dust off your dream and pursue it! Get the visibility back on your vision and pursue it! When you do, you will recover all that you have lost! This is you time to recover! Recovery requires action. Act now. Do not allow your past failures, hurts or abuses to hinder you any longer. Take the time to plan and pursue. Go for it, the time is now. 1 Samuel 30:18-19 “ So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.” When you follow the instruction, you will reap the
reward! He obeyed the word of the Lord. He pursued his enemy and recovered all. It is time to recover all you have lost! If you are in ministry and it is on life support, RECOVER IT! If your children are not saved it is time RECOVER THEM! If your financial situation is out of whack, it is time to RECOVER IT! Maybe your spiritual, mental or emotional state is out of balance, it is time to RECOVER IT! Nothing was lacking for David and his crew and nothing should be lacking for me and for you! This is our time! This is our season! You shall recover! You shall be restored! You shall be revived! Nothing shall be impossible unto you! Your greatest days are ahead of you and not behind you. One time Pastor Rod Parsley was preaching and he echoed these powerful words, “You will die if you continue to hang on to what you’ve lost! God’s word to you today is LET GO AND LIVE” If we keep dwelling on the things we have lost, we will never move forward into the blessing God has for us in the future. David did not dwell on what he lost, he went to God to focus on his future. Don’t stay stuck, get out of the rut. God has got great things for you and I to accomplish, but we have to get His instruction on it. Follow the leading of His Spirit and you will like David will recover all that God has planned for you!

Pastor Kevin Bishop was born in Buffalo, NY in the year of 1968. He was raised in a broken home in which he and his mother suffered terrible abuse at the hands of his biological father. as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. “And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.” 5 things that happen when you try to fit in: 1) Lose your witness (Romans 12:2) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. 2) Compromise (1 Corinthians 15:33) Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.” 3) Loving the world (1 John 2:15) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. 1 Peter 4 (Revelation). Jesus Christ has broken the power of sin. It’s not about us but all about Jesus (His sacrifices and love for his people). When God uses you it has nothing to do with you. God says He is looking for yielded vessels. Jesus is the example, we need to live according to God’s will and not our own fleshly lusts. You wasted too much time already in life so get right with God and do what he wants you to do and deny your flesh. We are a pelicular people, not of this world, so the worldly people don’t understand us. If anyone ridicules you or talks evil of you because you live for Jesus Christ, you are blessed because His glory and spirit rests upon you.

1 John 1 (Revelation). God is love and God is light. In Him there is no darkness. To have fellowship with God, we need to walk in purity (holiness) and reflect his moral character on a daily basis. When you keep God’s commandments it is a greater form of intimacy. When you keep God’s commandments, His love is perfected in you. If you love God, then you will keep his commandments. Love is a commandment; we
1) Wonderful Counselor. The word wonderful means incomprehensible. The word counselor means wise. Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Jesus is a wise counselor. We can trust him to lead and guide us into all truth. 2) The mighty God. He is El Shaddai and Elohim. There is no one more powerful. Revelation 1:8 says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” 3) Prince of Peace. John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Jesus is the true giver of peace. 4) Everlasting Father. God is omnipotent. His spirit is everywhere. Psalm 139:7
says, “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?” 5) Helper. Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” 6) Advocate. Jesus is the person who argues and supports us in the court of law or the courts of heaven when the accuser of the brethren tries to condemn us day and night. Jesus covered us in His blood. 1 John 2:1 says, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:” 7) Intercessor. Jesus weeps over us. Romans 8:26 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Praying in the spirit is His perfect will or the perfect prayer of faith. 8) Lamb of God. Jesus was the sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. John 1:29 says, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” 9) Chief Cornerstone. The church is built on Jesus. He is the foundation of the building. Ephesians 2:20 says, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” Jesus gives life to each of the fivefold offices. Ephe-

sians 4:11 says, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.” 10) Living sacrifice. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 15:13 says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” 11) High Priest. 2 Chronicles 19:11 says, “And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the Lord; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king’s matters: also the Levities shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the Lord shall be with the good.” Jesus was without sin. He was holy in conduct. He is our overseer. 12) Truth. John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to
come.”The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth which is opposite from a lie. John 8:44 says, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” 13) Light. John 8:12 says, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Light exposes darkness. 14) Example. 1 John 2:16 says, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” We must walk and live like Jesus did. Hebrews 4:15 says, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” 15) Righteous One. Psalm 7:11 says, “God judgeth the
righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.” Jesus does what is right and fair. 16) Love. Luke 10:27 says, “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.” 1 John 4:20 says, “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” 1 John 3:23 says, “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” 17) Holy One. 1 Peter 1:16 says, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Leviticus 11:44 says, “For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

One week passed, when I got an email from the Department of Education saying they received a payment of $930. I didn’t make a payment because I don’t have that type of money. I called the Department of Education and asked who made the payment and they replied that I did. Me and the lady went back and forth on the phone arguing whether or not I made the payment. I finally accepted that God made the payment for me. I remember, Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves giving me a word one week prior. She said as she prayed for me, she heard that I was about to get a debt elimination. I am so thankful that God heard my prayers. I purchased, “Obedience Is Key” written by Kimberly Hargraves. I couldn’t put the book down. It was like I couldn’t put the book down. It was like I could see her tears on every page. This book is really blessing my life. I was fasting when I got this book and in the middle of reading it, God spoke to me and told me to fast longer. So God allowed me to minister to my mom and showed me things, I
knew absolutely nothing about. I started to prophesy after reading this book. Tomeya This morning as I watching Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves on periscope, I felt a release as she started praying. I felt a release as she started praying. I felt so good afterwards and started to get dressed and head to church. I thank God for her life and her ministry. My marriage of twenty years fell apart and ended in divorce. My husband left me for another woman. The house that we shared is now on the market and I have nowhere to go. I had been heartbroken because there are so many memories in that house. To make matters worse, my oldest son had gotten diagnosed with bone cancer. I had lost all hope. I didn’t understand why all this bad stuff was happening to our family. My son was no longer able to play hockey. He loves hockey. God told me to call Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves so I obeyed. I told my son that you have to get on this call and have Prophetess Kimberly pray for you.
My son agreed. We went inside the car for a few minutes to place the call before we went inside the doctor’s office for his bone scan. When she prayed for him, he felt hot all over and felt heat on his knee. After prayer, we went back inside the doctor’s office to get the bone scan. After several days, the doctor called us into the office. He was scratching his head because he said he had misdiagnosed my son. He said he wasn’t sure that it was cancer looking at the bone scans. I am so thankful that God healed my son. Now my son can go to college and continue to play hockey. My ex-husband was in shocked because God healed my son of cancer. Leila, GA I hadn’t sleep well in weeks. I was running on fumes. It didn’t matter how much I tried to rest, I was just so restless. I called the prayer line Saturday morning and Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves called out the spirit of insomnia. Instantly, I felt something break off me. Then I felt lighter and I felt a refreshing.
