MOSES AND ABRAHAM By Sherian Blue

My favorite prophet is Moses. Moses was a prophet that had a face to face relationship with God. Moses was able to see God and live to tell about it. He had a relationship with God like no other. My desire is to see God in his glory and have a face to face encounter with God. I know that

takes a lot of faith and it may cost a lot, but I believe it is not impossible and Moses set the standard. Moses was also a deliver. God used Moses to set the captives free from pharaoh. I desire to operate in deliverance. When I gave my life to Jesus the first

book i read was clean house strong house by Kimberly Daniels a book on casting out demons. I researched and research on deliverance and watched hours and hours of deliverances on YouTube. I believe God put this desire in my heart. I believe that apart of my ministry Will be deliv-

erance. I had a dream that I had a baby and I named him Moses. I think the dream was representing apart of my ministry. God also used Moses to perform signs and wonders. I really have faith in God to do the miraculous. I believe that God can do anything. Sometimes I don’t understand why people don’t believe God can do anything. I believe God can heal you from any sickness and change any situation I put no limits on God. If God can part a sea then he can do anything. I just really admire Gods relationship with Moses. I want God to be so real to me that

he is tangible. God is so real to me that’s why I dedicate my life to him. I don’t like to be around people that don’t have faith in God. If you ever were to sit and talk to me I’m going to want to talk about God. I could talk about God all day. I often ask God to groom me for a Moses experience. The price is high I know, but I believe it is well worth it. I also admire Abraham. I love the faith that Abraham had. I love how he would sacrifice anything for God and he would do anything God told him to do even though people looked at him like he was crazy. Abraham was a intercessor Mo-

ses was also. I love how God spared people just because of the relationship they had with God. They talk to God just as if they were best friends that hung out everyday and God actually listened to their petitions. I think that is so powerful. I believe Moses and Abraham where powerful prophets. And they set the bar. I admire their relationship with God and I wish to have a similar relationship with God.

DEBORAH THE PROPHETESS By Lynn Hailey this behavior as it appeared to be overkill. In essence, I delivered that young man from captivity because with my distraction the officer’s literally let the teen go and turned their wrath on me. My perception of things after that is that after realizing that I only voiced my opinion of their excessive force on the teen and not have a real legal justification for arresting me, the officer’s escalated my charge to assault, so they could have something to stick me real bad. Well, the Lord told me that vengeance was his and he would repay. So, long story short, after I pleaded “not guilty” of the assault charge at the hearing (as I did not hit the officer as he claimed), the case went to trail and I was found not guilty and the case was dismissed and my arrest record (one night in jail) was expunged.

For the purposes of this research, I have chosen Deborah as my most favorite prophet. Not only was she a prophetess, but also a Judge. I am familiar with the law due to my career as a Paralegal. In undergraduate school one of friends nicknamed me Justice. So, I see some similarities between me and Deborah, as well. One of the scriptures that identifies Deborah as a prophetess is Judges 4:4 “Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time.” This is the scripture that also recognizes her as a Judge. According to an article on the website StronginFaith.org, Deborah was the nation of Israel’s forth judge. Also something interesting to note from this article is that in the Hebrew judge is pronounce “shaphat”, meaning to deliver or rule. Deborah is responsible for the deliverance of the Israelites who suffered twenty years of cruelty at the hands of “Jabin king of Canaan and his military commander Sisera.” Barak an Israelite General was summond by Deborah and lodge a war of 10,000 men against Sisera. Deborah prophesied that Barak and his team would be granted victory by the Lord. Barak was reluctant to take on the forceful tribe of

General Sisera because of Sisera’s infantry’s of “900 chariots of iron”. As a result of Barak’s hesitance, Deborah ended up having to join him in this battle. This is Deborah’s exact prophesy of the victory: “Because of [Barak’s] lack of confidence in God, Deborah prophesies that victory will be obtained, however the glory will not go to Barak but to a woman instead. The great Sisera will be defeated by a woman!” Many thought this meant that Deborah would kill Sisera, but ironic enough Sisera was not killed in battle. Apparently, he fled into the hills and ended on the doorstep a supposed ally Heber the Kenite. Heber’s wife Jael receives Sisera into her home seeing he was extremely exhausted. While Sisera was knocked out, Jael drove a tent peg through his skull. The Godly Righteous Militant, Deborah ended up bringing Israel forty years of peace through her leading the fight against the army of Sisera. She is the most celebrated prophet in the Old Testament for her faith, boldness and courage. This reminds me of myself, because in the spirit I tend to be a little feisty and hard to control. I will never forget on 9/11/2009 (9/11—EMERGENCY), I noticed two police officer’s ruffing up a teen. I spoke against

So this is why I could identify and admire Deborah. Deborah as I did, let her convictions for justice precede her reputation and the Lord honored her by giving her victory as he did for me. I must say in retrospect any futuristic experience, I would probably file a complaint against the officers and not get involved with their affairs because of how dangerous dealing with them has become since 2009. God spared my life because they could have shot me. At the time, all I saw was police brutality which is unjust. Emotionally I was not prepared for what I was seeing and took reacted unwisely. This experience has given me Godly wisdom and has shown me that even when a figure of authority appears to be in the wrong, I am to honor that authority (not interfere) because God sets authority in the earth. However, it would be my duty to report what I saw and pray that through that vehicle God would move on my behalf. So the Lord was merciful to me because he saw my heart and that my actions were from an innocent heart, not wicked like the officers. This is why he redeemed me, set me free and gave me victory, as with the Israelites. This scripture reference fits both Deborah’s and my experience: Proverbs 29:2 (KJV) When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

PRAISE THE LORD Pastor Shirley Cooper

Then Moses stretched out

his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, (Exodus 14:21) Imagine here you are standing before the raging sea, nowhere to go, or hide. The storm is so close you can taste it. Then you stretch out your arms just like moses did in Exodus, when he helped God’s people escape bondage, slavery, and the sea opens up turning those raging waters that were once blocking your escape into dry land. What do you do next? I

know that I would stand there as if I were at the tip of the Titanic with my hair blowing in the strong wind, feeling as if I myself had accomplished something great! It would have probably been a, “look at me, look what I did,” type of deal lol Then a big burst of salty water would have to fly in and slap me back into reality, reminding me that It wasn’t MY stretched out arms that took the fearless, raging waters and split them open into two parts making the ground they once lay on, dry. It was The same God who would hush

the winds and calm the storm in (Mark 4:35-41). The same question would be asked as it was asked in (Mark 4:41), “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Although, one account was in the Old Testament, and the other in the New Testament, the story holds great similarity. God’s people needed His touch through a storm that would hinder their walk in both accounts. While Moses took up his own faith standing in the gap for those who didn’t see God through the raging waters, Jesus stepped in carrying out that same power by

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

standing in the gap for those with little or no faith. Sometimes WE need someone with a BIG faith to stand in the gap for us. But that also requires God. He sends us help in resources that we never saw possible. Sometimes in a neighbor, at times a stranger, a friend, a family member, an acquaintance and so on. But again, it requires God’s fingerprint or we won’t receive the lesson. But all in all I have come to the realization that my God comes in right when the timing is perfect. In the nick of time. He always sweeps in and scoops us up like a great Father would, comforting us against His chest, just like a great Mother would. At times we fail to see His goodness, because we are too busy searching everyone else’s blessings. We are in constant doubt and disbelief. Rather than Praise the Lord for the life we have, we pray for larger things as if He would give us less. God say’s that we don’t have, because we don’t ask. But clearly we ask all the time, and even when we don’t ask,

He gives. That’s because God knows what we need before we ask (Matthew 6:8). So why NOT just Praise Him! Pour out our Praise, during the storm, through the raging waters,In the rain,In the mud, the chaos, through the struggle, through the sun, through the smiles, in your victory,in your win, in triumph, through big things, through little things, while you’re in pain, while you wait, out of pain, good health, bad health, poverty, prosperity and the list goes on. But we do not!

Who would we be? While that’s a scary question, it is good to invest in the answer. Be different than the disciples that failed to see through the storm along with fear greater than their victory. Don’t be like the Israelites who ran from bondage and slavery only to stop dead in front of a huge sea praising God after they saw victory. Praise The Lord before our triumphant outcome.

We will not be here forever and Praising Him in our lives is vital in order to connect with a big God. Imagine standing on the rock where Moses once stood, or in the boat where Jesus once laid. Who would you be in those situations? Would you be the disciple carrying a faith that trusted God through that great storm allowing Jesus to sleep through it? Would you be that one believer that no matter what happened at the beginning of that sea, you would have thrusted yourself at the Mercy of God trusting Him alone for freedom?

Because no matter what we are going through right now, God’s victorious results are greater than any storm!

Today, truly know your victory before it happens (Psalms 105:45) ................and praise the Lord now!

The Power of Intercession was written to show the believer that you can have faith for your loved ones, co-workers, neighbors, leaders, strangers, and God will honor your faith. When you have a prayer life God will summons you to pray for others. Every believer is called to intercede on behalf of others.

We overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony. I show you all the ups and downs in my life, I share my jouney with you as if we’re sitting across from one another. From selling crack, to giving my life to the Lord, and then walking away from Him. I show you how I hit rock bottom and finally made my way back to the father, I was the prodigal son, and this is my story.

ELIJAH AND JESUS ByShalonda McClendon

I am going out on the limb here in the sense that I am going to talk about Jesus, the ultimate prophet and Elijah the righteous one who got “taken up”. I will attempt to convey my heart in this paper to help show forth what I have tried to attain and what I aspire to. I will start with Elijah. He was a prophet who suffered with fear and depression; A prophet

who was bold and full of faith in God. Full of emotion yet a man who loved God and who walked in righteousness. I have been, for most of my life, a very emotional person. I have been fearful and run away from some things when I should have stayed a stood fast to my beliefs and convictions. But, the part of this that I can really relate to is

the depression after great victories. I have conquered some great feats and then right after, the enemy comes through another person and it throws me all the way off. I have hit some hard pits. And instead of asking God to help me or deliver me, I have resorted to wanting to die. However, I know the voice of God as Elijah

did. God did me just like that once. “Get up and eat!” I had to get up. Had to get back to strength. Had to get back to living out my purpose in God just as Elijah did. Also when I think of Elijah I think of Elisha. I think of their relationship and how there are many who trust me as a mentor and spiritual mother as well. They follow closely and don’t want to disconnect. Sometimes God literally has move me from them. Now, Jesus is our savior but today I am coming from the perspective of the Son of God and man that he was before the crucifixion. This is very important to note because the bible teaches that we should have the mind of Christ. So I am constantly looking and seeing where I am like Him and where I can be better. One, Jesus says often that He only speaks

what the Father says. I often pray for the same. Father allow me to truly speak only what you have to say. Nothing less and nothing more. Two, Jesus was very laid back about people’s sins for the most part. Does it mean that Jesus was cool about people sinning? Absolutely not but He was understanding that people do such things... now repent, go sin no more and Hey... I still love you exactly the same as I did before the offense. I would say that I am that person more often than not. I have had much happen to me from people, but those same people are still in contact with me often and they have no doubts that I love them the same. Three, He was willing to go outside of religious acts to please the Father and do His will. I am very convinced that no man’s words should trump what God has instructed me

to do. What doesn’t make sense to man makes perfect sense to God. Jesus lived that way in every instance. Forth, Jesus lived a real love walk. This is what I cry out for. To sum this up, I am a very loving prophet that doesn’t mind speaking truth to anyone. I want God to speak through me at all times. I have been the weeping, depressed prophet, But God! Now I walk in my boldness and authority just as these two did.

BACK TO THE BASICS By Reynaldo Rodriguez

Soldiers who have been in active combat often need to go back to boot camp to review the basics. Many Christian soldiers also need to go back to basics. They have heard the teaching at some point in their growing up years, but they have not been putting it into practice. They need a refresher. In this war, there is really no such thing as safe rear—level activity. Our spiritual enemy does not recognize spatial distance as we mortals do. This is why we need to be spiritually fit for battle at all times. We cannot afford to think that we are safe as long as we ignore the devil. Sooner or later he will take advantage of any area of weakness we allow to persist in our lives. He still come to steal, kill, and destroy (see John 10: 10).

in spiritual victory: How can I really say thanks? The Lord allow me to spend time with him just when I was concluding that there was no hope for me to ever break free from the downward spiral of continual defeat, depression and guilt.

But with the proper uniform and with reasonable skill in using the weapons, we can be more than conquerors. Here is how a pastor’s wife describe an experience she had that ultimately ended up

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4: 4). When the Lord finish the experi-

Having literally grown up in church and being a pastor’s wife for 25 years, everyone thought I was as put together on the inside as I was on the outside. On the contrary, I knew that there was no infrastructure on the inside and often wondered when the weight of trying to hold on myself together would cause my life to fall apart and come crumbling down. It seemed as if sheer determination was the only thing that kept me going.

ence we had together I felt inside of my soul a beautiful song of grace playing all over me and inside of me, “It is well with my soul.” The words of the song fairly exploded in my mind with the realization that it was well in my soul for the first time in years. I have heard the same songs and read the same Bible verses as before, but it is as if I’m really hearing for the first time. There is underlying joy and peace in the midst of the same circumstances that used to bring defeat and discouragement. Already the deceiver has tried to plant thoughts in my mind and tell me that this won’t last, it is just another gimmick that won’t work. The difference is that now I know those are lies from Satan and not the truth. Whenever feelings of defeat and despair menace your soul with attacks is time to go back to the basics. What a difference the freedom the Holy Spirit for us in Christ makes!

ANNA AND MOSES By Mia Mason

It was hard for me to decide on which prophet was my favorite one. I love the different characteristics of each and every one. After analyzing all of them, I finally made a choice. The two prophets that I feel that I am similar to are Moses and Anna. Anna is not spoken of much in the bible. She was the only female prophetess listed in the new testament. She was a widow who chose to stay single and serve the Lord.

Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher, and she was very old. Her husband died when they had been married only seven years. Then she lived as a widow to the age of eightyfour. She never left the Temple bur stayed there day and night, worshipping God with fasting and prayer. She came long just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who

had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem. — Luke 2:36-38 (NLT) She is one of my favorite prophets because she shared her faith to many people. She chose to fast and pray, worshipping the Lord day and night. She chose to tell them the news of the Savior that was coming, no matter how long it might be before he came. She knew her purpose and she didn’t let anyone’s opinions or com-

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

ments keep her from it. I believe that her opposition was speaking to people that didn’t want to hear the news that she was spreading. Her assignment was to be a witness for Christ and to bring salvation to people. I am similar to Anna because I am strong in my faith and I’m not afraid to tell my testimony of all that I’ve been through. I love to fast and pray, and can spend hours lost in worship without even realizing it. I know what my purpose is and despite the trials and opinions of others in my life, I refuse to let them stop me. I am also an end time prophet that will be making people aware of the second coming of Christ as well as preparing them for it. Another thing that makes me similar to her is that if I were to ever lose my husband, I wouldn’t marry again and would rather spend the rest of my life just serving God. Moses was a prophet that was brought up during the time when the Pharaoh had ordered for any male child to be killed due to their fear of the Hebrews.

Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live. — Exodus 1:15-16 (NLT) He is one of my favorite prophets due to the close relationship that he had with God. I also loved the way that he was willing to give the Israelites another chance and would continuously go to God to ask for forgiveness for their wrong doings. The opposition of Moses was to deal with the stubbornness of the Pharaoh when it came to getting him to let the Israelites leave Egypt and go back to the Promised land. He also had to deal with the disobedience of the Israelites and their continuous rebellion towards God for 40 years. His assignment was to deliver the Israelites from Egypt, and lead them to the Promised land. I am similar to Moses because like him, I feel like I

am unworthy to be a prophet. I feel that if I speak to someone that they won’t believe me. I am also a person who can’t understand why people who have been to prison are treated so unfairly when they try for a better life. It makes me cringe to see how hard their lives are after making one mistake. I am also a person who constantly wants to save someone and I go to God praying for them. I am also similar to Moses due to his wife Zipporah, who is not from Israel but from the Midianites of the region of Sinai. Her foreignness is later criticized by Moses’ brother and sister, Aaron and Miriam. My family was horrified when I married my husband (who is the father of my two children), and constantly criticized me for doing it. Some have finally accepted it, while others still have not.

PSALM 37: PART 8 - IT’S NOT YOUR FIGHT By Keiyia JOYet George minding them that He did not give them a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound and disciplined mind. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

I’m going to be honest with y’all (you all). It has bothered me that I have not kept my regular schedule of posting BUT every time I’ve tried to write under my own strength, I struggled. Nothing would come. It just didn’t flow. I’ve asked God why and He said, not by might, not power, but by His Spirit and His Spirit only. So I trust that these words are straight from Him and if He doesn’t give me something to share, then I absolutely cannot share. So…. The wicked plot against the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright in right standing with God); they gnash at them with their teeth. The Lord laughs at [the wicked], for He sees that their own day [of defeat] is

coming. The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who walk uprightly (blameless in conduct and in conversation). The swords [of the wicked] shall enter their own hearts, and their bows shall be broken. Psalm 37:12-15 (AMP) Let me describe what I see. I see a righteous person (in right standing with God)walking and I see some type of animal like hyenas or ravenous dogs snapping at the ankles of this righteous person. As the person walks, they never waver. They never change. They keep their eyes forward, and they continue to walk. Above this person is God, prompting them forward. Re-

The wicked are like these doglike beings snapping at your feet. Everywhere you turn, they are there trying to pull you down, trying to keep you in the negative vein they seem to stay in. And if you don’t join in, then you are immediately the enemy. Let me give you a prime example. A friend of mine called me. They described several situations that have been identified to be controlled by an oppression spirit. But one piece of the conversation was a new revelation. There is one individual who seemed to have the power to command the ‘weaker’ ones to their will. Whatever this stronger person wanted people to think, that’s what they thought. Somehow, they’d even convinced a room of people that something that was a VERY good thing, was a bad thing. We also spoke how certain people around this ‘stronger’ individual easily picked up similar mannerisms and characteristics of this person in very short periods of time. As they continued to describe situations, I immediately begin to ask God how I should help and if I should help. At some point they began to describe

a particular situation with the ‘stronger’ person. Flabbergasted, I begin to wonder what spirits this individual allowed to use their body as their hotel. Rather than say this out loud, I simply thought, “I could easily ask God, and He’d tell me.” But I didn’t ask. Instead I continued to listen in a state of shock as the person described what was going on. I’d say about 45 seconds later, I heard the words as clear as day: Jezebel.

controlled the person. But more importantly, my friend would not bend. She refused to say good is bad, beautiful is ugly, and to go contrary to the Word of God. And my friend is a target. Jezebel has set her claws into my friend and because my friend would not change her course, Jezebel has decided to make my friend her number one target (the other believers are targets as well, also under brute force attacks).

Astonished, I interrupted my friend and told them what I just heard. Jezebel. And honestly, I was shocked that He would say this name. I mean, I know this ‘stronger’ individual. Not very well on a personal level, but well enough in the professional realm, and I recall wondering for years what spirits the person housed. In this brief moment, He quickly shared with me that this person was a host for Jezebel spirit.

So what can my friend do? I told her she now knew what she was up against, but Jezebel was already defeated.

So as I shared this with my friend, I showed the correlations of the two: Jezebel was able to convince a whole room of people of what she says is truth, even if it went against the word of God. Jezebel was able to convince the King, who loved God before, to turn His back on God. She was able to convince him to turn his back on what he believed. Jezebel, somehow, was able to scare ALL the prophets into the hills to hide out.

But also remember: No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17(NKJV)

If you did not go along with Jezebel, then you were her number one enemy. You became a target and she made it her business to torment you all the days of your life. As each of these situations were described, my friend was able to see exactly how this spirit

The wicked plot against the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright in right standing with God); they gnash at them with their teeth. Verse 12 The wicked ones in your life are plotting against you and that’s ok. You are the righteous and are covered under the blood.

This is a promise for the righteous! The weapons will form, but they won’t prosper. Every word spoken against you will be shot down. You don’t worry about them. The battle is not yours! and he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the LORD to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NASB)

If you recall, when they looked out, there was a great army coming. But God told the prophet Jahaziel to tell King Jehoshaphat that they didn’t have to fight. Read this chapter for the back story, but instead of going to fight, they bowed their heads and worshiped God (verse 18). When Jezebel or any demonic force comes, worship! It’s spiritual warfare. The Lord laughs at [the wicked], for He sees that their own day [of defeat] is coming. Verse 13 And the Lord laughed when this multitude thought they had won. They came with a massive army! But they were defeated before they ever left their camps. The multitudes came. Two armies fought against the third, and once the third was defeated, the two destroyed one another. Not one had escaped!! And this happened as the people of Judah praised!! (Verses 21-25) The weapon formed BUT it did not proposer. Instead… The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who walk uprightly (blameless in conduct and in conversation). The swords [of the wicked] shall enter their own hearts, and their bows shall be broken. Verse 14 and 15 They came against the man and people of God, and instead, turned against them self. You don’t worry about evil doers. Let the wicked destroy themselves. Fear not, for he is with you! Do you have an oppressive spirit floating around your workplace? Home? Place of fellowship? Have you been able to identify what’s in your environment? What are you doing to rid the atmosphere of these dark spirits? He got you!! You leave it to God, praise and worship in the meantime, and watch Him WORK!!!!

PSALM 37: PART 9 - YOU WILL REAP IT ALL By Keiyia JOYet George know? Because God is three-part. So, our flesh would be our body and the Spirit would be our spiritual part, the part that links us directly to God. Sowing in our flesh would be sowing into the soul of our corrupt nature and it will reap destruction. But our spirit is of Godly nature and it’s our spirit we should sow into.

Let me ask you something. Do you believe the wicked will reap what they sow? If not, do you believe the righteous will reap what they sow? If so, why believe good will reap and bad won’t? The Word doesn’t discriminate. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ This doesn’t say if you sow wickedly you will not reap wickedly. It says, you get

what you sow no matter what. But let’s read further. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ What exactly is sowing in the flesh? Well, we people, who are made in God’s image, are threepart people. How do I

Feed your spirit. You know the song: Read your Bible. Pray every day. And you’ll grow, grow, grow. You want to grow? Then sow into your spirit. But let’s move on. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NKJV I’ll be honest with you. Sometimes I want to yell WHEN, GOD! WHEN!!!! I mean how much more can I do in such a corrupt

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

place. But there it is. You don’t yell that. Nope. You don’t grow weary. You keep going for your Father in Heaven sees and will honor you. It will come back to you. It’s a biblical principle. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Every opportunity you have to do good to your brother or sister in Christ, do it. If you can feed them, feed them. If you can house them, house them. But even easier, if you can just be there for them, be there. Pray with them. Encourage them.

always be better than the wicked because everyone reaps what they sow. If the wicked gained it through the flesh, it will only lead to destruction. The arms of the wicked shall be broken. No, not their physical arms, although that would be super funny to see all the wicked people walking around armless. But no. These arms means power. Their power will be broken over you. They will not prevail.

But what does all of this have to do with Psalm 37? A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:1617‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Last week after I told my friend they were dealing with a Jezebel spirit, the very next day all hell broke loose for them. They called me, we prayed and I told them Jezebel was defeated already. And yep. Everything that Jezebel and her cronies threw at them was thwarted by our Father. Nothing was successful against them. The weapons formed (and oh did they form), but none, not one, prospered. The powers of Jezebel were destroyed! That ugly spirit was walking around armless. Lol.

The little you have will

But if you hold on, a little

longer, continue sowing into the Spirit and doing good, you will harvest a good crop. Trust God. He will never fail you. Always, Keiyia JOYet George Are you faced with a wickedness before you that you can’t seem to see past? Email me and let’s pray over it. I give my time to you to encourage and uplift you. Wicked will not prevail. He promises to be there! “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew‬ ‭18:19-20‬ ‭NKJV

DAVID

The prophet I believe I relate to most is David. David was a alot of different things to alot of different people. He was a sheapard, a king, a warrior, an adulterer, a sinner, a saint, a muscian, a murderer but to God he was a man after God’s own heart. I have made alot of mistakes in my life time, and I too was alot of different things to alot

of different people. I was a sinner, a fornicator, an adulterer at heart, a warrior, a gang banger, a disappointment, thief, a friend and a robber but even after all of that God says that I am a man after His own heart. My God!!! When I think about the grace and many mercies of God!!! Not only did God call

David a man after His own heart but in II Chronicles 7:17-18 God calls him faithful... As He says to his son Solomon “As for you, if you faithfully follow me as David your father did, obeying all my commands, decrees, and regulations, then I will establish the throne of your dynasty. This to me is a clear picture of God forgiving

By Bobby McClendon

our sins because He didn’t harp on all the bad things that David done but God chose to look at the good in David. My favorite Scripture is II Chronicles 7:14 that says “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;

then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” This is God speaking to the seed of David. God called David “a man after my own heart” because this was always David’s posture before the Lord. He always found himself at the alter of God’s heart crying out to Him. Not only was David repentive but he want-

ed to please God more than anything else in this world. This... is... worship... David wasn’t afraid to show how much he loved God as he danced wildly in front of others unto God. A clear picture of being unashamed. This is me. A radical worshipper that loves God more than anything else in this world.

PROPHETESS DEBOR By Melody Summers

Prophetess Deborah was a prophet of the God of Israel and judge. You can find the account of her works in the book of Judges in the bible. Being a prophetess was not all she was known for, she was also known as a counselor, warrior, and wife to Lapidoth. They also called her, mother of Israel. After reading

her account, she became one of my favorite prophets. Her strength and confidence is what got my attention. She exudes independence and surety of herself. In so many ways, I relate to Prophetess Deborah. I am a very independent woman and life’s challenges have caused strength to exude from me, like never

before. Many people see my strength, but don’t know the battles it took to get there. As a leader in my church, some people come to me for counsel and prayer, just as Deborah was a counselor. I can relate to the characteristic of a warrior that she holds. My life has been filled with battles, some I’ve caused, some beyond my control. Being a

RAH

warrior, has kept me sane. I can truly say, I survived what more than likely, killed someone else. Prophetess Deborah, when she prophesied the victory for the people of Israel, and it came to past, she sung a victory song. I often times, in my prayer time go from warfare to worship, and find myself singing

songs of victory. With my faith, knowing that which I warred against, the battle is already won, because my father in heaven yet Lives and causes his people to triumph. I believe Prophetess Deborah and I carry some of the same traits. Opposition I think Deborah faced was during that time it was a male oriented world. In fact, a woman’s worth was based on her marital status and being able to bare children. Even as judge, she was respected and sought out for Godly counsel, the other judges (men) were called “deliverer”, but in scripture Deborah was never referred to as deliverer, even though she caused the people of Israel to be delivered out of bondage. She however, took her place on with pride. She knew her place as a woman, Barak didn’t

want to go up without her; she went with him, but stayed back when they went up to fight. I think this is a true example of a Godly woman, knowing how to let the man take lead, even when it’s your wisdom and direction that’s causing the win. I believe her assignment was to the nation of Israel as judge, counselor, and warrior. What a great assignment to lead God’s people. She was assigned to deliver the people of Israel out of bondage, but also on a daily basis, she was assigned to judge their daily actions to keep them in alignment with God. Prophetess Deborah again, war-

rior, judge, prophet, counselor, and wife. How can I not appreciate this great woman of God.

I wrote this book because there are not enough mentors in the body of Christ. Everybody is too busy with their own lives. Paul said it best, all seek their own and not the things which are Jesus Christ’s (Phil 2:21). It is very important that we take up time with new converts, to encourage them, strengthen them, and push them. If we impart that in them, eventually they’ll impart it in others.

JESUS NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES By Reynaldo Rodriguez of God the Father.” (Philippians 2: 5 – 11). In “Jesus Christ”, we were made to thrive. Again, the Bible makes it clear that we cannot use this name as a power word: “Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.

If by faith we have appropriated these blessings, we are in a position to resist Satan’s accusations and attacks. More than that, however, we are in a place where we can be a part of building Christ’s church around the world—a church against which Christ promised that the gates of hell could not prevail,” (Matthew 16: 18). “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4: 4) There are other weapons that could be identified, but one stands out as essential for successful warfare: THE NAME OF JESUS,

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory

One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.” (Acts 19: 13 – 20). When walking hand to hand with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the

Holy Spirit, (intimate relationship), all hell shakes and tremble knowing very well your name. Regarding this same principle, the apostle Paul shares to the Corinthians: “And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” (1 Corinthians 2: 1 – 5). In order to do anything “in the name” of another person, you first have to have an active relationship with that person and be commissioned by that person to act on his or her behalf. In the case of Christian disciples, (people who have experienced the miracle of the new birth described in 1 Corinthians 5: 17 and John 3: 3 – 8). Once that person has made contact with that transformational experience, is commissioned and authorized by God to do ministry on behalf of Jesus Christ kingdom: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the

Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 19 – 20), “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1: 8) I cannot go around doing things “in the name of the president of the United States,” for example, because I have not been commissioned by him to act in his stead. I cosay the words, but no one would need to pay attention to them. The same is true in seeking to act “in the name of Jesus” when resisting the demons. They don’t have to pay attention to the words, either. The seven sons of Sceva discovered this in a painful way. Yet we have been commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ to go into the world and to make disciples of all nations, and with that commission comes the authority needed to carry it out. That doesn’t mean that we can go anywhere we decide to go and assume the authority to act in His name, but when we go where He sends us, we can be assured that we have the authority we need to resist the devil. This begins in our personal lives and in our homes. When Joshua and the people of Israel finally enter the promise land and conquered their boundaries that flowed “milk and honey” Joshua expressions established a firm foundation that required a seri-

ous commitment of loyalty and obedience toward the God who had promised and delivered them victory: “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24: 15). Is human nature to forget, reject, discard, gratitude to the One who deserves our faithfulness and praise. Joshua knew this very well when he shared these words to the people of Israel. Christians parents have the authority to cleanse and protect their home and family. Christians also have the authority to invade territory long held by Satan and to build the church. We don’t cast demons out of the places we go . If we could do that , planting churches would be easy. Through prayer, however, the enemy’s power can be bound, and we can minister victoriously in spite of the worst the enemy can do.

MOSES THE FACE TO FACE PROPHET By Brittany Lowery Why is Moses my favorite prophet? Moses is my favorite prophet because I admire His unique relationship with God. In numbers 12:6-8 (ESV) God said: “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses. He is faithful in all My house. With him I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the Lord...” This surpassed dreams and visions. My hearts desire is a deeper level of intimacy with the Father. Moses was also very humble and a man of prayer. When God was set on executing judgement, he would cry out to God. Moses was a loyal leader. He led a group of complaining people in the wilderness for 40 years. He was also educated. How do I relate to Moses? When he was called, he felt unqualified. Moses felt that he didn’t have much to offer. However, God assured him that He would be with him. I’ve given God excuses. I’ve told God my reasons why I thought I couldn’t be used. Exodus 3:11-12 (NASB) But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?” And He said, “Certainly I will be with you...”

Exodus 4:10 Then Moses said to the LORD, “Please, Lord, I have neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” Moses hated injustice and so do I. It grieves me when people are done wrong. In some cases, I feel like I have to step in and defend the individual if I’m able to. I understand that I have to be led by the Holy Spirit and not my emotions. I have a heart for the overlooked and downtrodden. I usually find myself rooting for the underdog. Moses was grieved over the treatment of his people. He defended those who were incapable of defending themselves.

Exodus 2:11-13 One day, when Moses had grown up, he went out to his people and looked on their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his people. He looked this way and that, and seeing no one, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. He went out the next day, and behold, two Hebrews were fighting with each other; and he said to the offender, “Why are you striking your companion?” When Moses killed the Egyptian, he didn’t know God. His actions caused his life to be put in danger. Pharaoh wanted to kill him. As a result, he fled to Midian. This is why I stated that I have to be led by the Holy Spirit and not my emotions. Violence is not the

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

remedy for injustice. Moses dealt with anger issues. At one point in my life, I had anger issues badly. I would become so enraged that I would throw and break things. I hated being that way. Exodus 2:16-17 (ESV) Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock. The shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and saved them, and watered their flock. What opposition did he face? Moses had to deal with a stubborn king who had a hard heart. Pharaoh was set on not letting the Israelites go. Thank God that He delivered his people out of the hands of Pharaoh. Majority of the opposition that Moses faced, came from people putting their mouths on him. It came from those he shepherded and his own family. The congregation grumbled against Moses on many occasions. They literally blamed Moses for almost everything. Miriam and Aaron (his sister and brother) also spoke against him. Korah (his cousin) and certain Reubenties rose up against Moses. They rebelled against his leadership. Exodus 16:2-3 The whole congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. The sons of Israel said to them, “Would that we had died by the LORD’S hand in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill the whole assembly with hunger.”

Exodus 17:3 But the people thirsted there for water; and they grumbled against Moses and said, “Why, now, have you brought us up from Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?” Numbers 14:2 All the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron; and the whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness! Numbers 20:2 There was no water for the congregation, and they assembled themselves against Moses and Aaron. Numbers 21:5 The people spoke against God and Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this miserable food.” Numbers 12:1-2 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had married a Cushite woman); and they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us as well?” And the LORD heard it. Miriam was struck with leprosy as a result of this. Moses displayed meekness when he prayed for her. He asked God to heal her. Numbers 16:2-3 and they rose up before Moses, together with some of the sons of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, chosen in the assembly, men of renown. They

assembled together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “You have gone far enough, for all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is in their midst; so why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?” The earth swallowed the men joined to Korah (Numbers 16:3233). This was their judgement. What was Moses’ assignment? Exodus 3:10 Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt. His assignment was to deliver the Israelites out of slavery to The Promised Land (Exodus 3:16-17). This was not supposed to take 40 years. The negative mindset and attitudes of the people prolonged the process. Unfortunately, many did not make it to The Promised Land. Moses was not allowed to enter into the land because of his disobedience (Numbers 20:2-13). He allowed his anger to get the best of him and it cost him. God was gracious and allowed Moses to see all of the land from a distance (Deuteronomy 34:1-4). I’m inspired by Moses’ ministry and life. It shows me that God can use anyone. He can use you inspite of your past, age, and imperfections. You are unique and you have something to offer. God is the true deliverer. It also shows me that your perception plays a major role in your wilderness. What are you seeing and what are you speaking? Although things may not look the way you want, hold on to what He’s promised you.

He has been used as a vessel to launch other ministers into their destinies. He has been a blessing to connect up and coming ministers to major platforms. Ministers who were never heard of before began to travel once they got on his channel. Every day, thousands of subscribers eagerly wait for the latest videos. Tron Moses has truly been used by God in a significant way. His job is very important. He is a man of great patience. Can you imagine the time and dedication it takes to archive all those videos? His channel has almost 3,000 videos that

have made a dynamic impact on the body of Christ. Tron Moses is a great example of God making someone’s name great. People from all walks of life have heard his name. We all heard the scripture, “Your gifts will make room for you and bring you into the presence of great men.” This is what happened with Tron. God has recently opened up the door for Tron Moses to do his first passion, which is photography, at a major conference. Back in September 2016, Tron was asked to photograph memorable moments at the General of Deliverance Conference. God set him up to have access to major ministers in the body of Christ. Tron Moses loves photography. You can notice the quality in his work. His pictures are high quality and he makes his subjects stand out. God blessed Tron to learn photography quickly in just a short amount of time. He is from Brooklyn, New York. He lived a hard life which he discusses in detail in his book, “Who Touched Me”? He was once homeless and an alcoholic but the hand of the Lord was upon his life. God blessed him

I found out also that he was a photographer and once I saw the awesome work of the previous photoshoots he had done, I asked him to do my photoshoot. At this time, I desperately needed photos for my website and books from my ministry. God got all the Glory when he connected us. On the day of the photoshoot, Tron made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and he was very professional. He gave me my photos back in a timely matter. I fully support and recommend him for any major events. Tron Moses has truly been a blessing to me. Since, I’ve been connected to him, my subscribers on my YouTube channel has increased and my ministry has gotten more exposure. He is one of the most selfless person’s I know. He is an example of what serving another man’s vision looks like. He doesn’t mind helping out other ministers in the body of Christ. With the grace of God, Tron has been used as a vessel to help launch people in their destinies. He is a very special man in God’s sight.

DECISION TO BE BELIEVE - A DAILY WALK By Albert J. Daily

I have come to the point in my life where I had to make a decision to believe what Jesus spoke as recorded in John 14:12-13 which says “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” I also had to come to believe and receive Mark 16:17-18 which says “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” The decision came after I heard the Lord ask me if I believed that I could do greater works than He did? I initially thought about the impossibility of this, but was then led to think that greater works could never be done by me in my own ability. It could only be done supernaturally in the Lord’s strength and power. Since I knew that the Holy Spirit dwelled in me after giving my life to Jesus, and that I had already been baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire, I knew that it was

possible because of Him in me! Well since then, the Lord has allowed me to pray for ten people from one to sixty years of age that had cancer before I laid hands on them and prayed for them. After doing this each time, the Lord healed them ALL of cancer either the very next day or within a week! He has also allowed me to pray for countless others that either had paralysis, asthma (including my own son), pains in various parts of their bodies and other infirmities. The Lord healed them ALL either immediately or overtime! In addition, the Lord has allowed me to pray for people that needed deliverance from depression, demonic attack and self, with manifestations of deliverance in each praying opportunity! The Lord also put in my heart on Good Friday 2015 to ask for prayer requests from everyone in each of my social media outlets (text, email and Facebook). Those that either texted, emailed or sent me a private message on Face book in the form of prayer requests (which many were for healing), ALL received healing from Jesus after the text, email or Facebook responses were sent back to them! Finally, the Lord had me personally call some

people that responded and He healed them while I was on the phone with them as well! God has truly been faithful and has showed himself mighty in my life!!! Today, the Lord is using me equip and teach other Born Again, Christ Followers to believe that John 14:12 and Mark 16:17-18 is applicable for them also. But, and I do note but, these things and blessings should NEVER supersede our desire to have a loving, solid relationship with Jesus first and foremost! It is through our relationship with Him that makes all things possible after belief and faith kicks in. I encourage everyone who reads this testimony to first be grateful for the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for each and every one of us, so that we did not have to. Believe in the love and power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Trust that He still heals delivers, sets captives free and answers prayer today. Also know that He is looking to show himself mighty in those that believe that they can do greater works knowing that signs, miracles and wonders really do follow those that believe! Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, not yours!!!

FAVORITE PROPHETS - PAUL AND JEREMIAH By Keiyia Jackson-George

There are two prophets I really, really seem to study more than others: Paul and Jeremiah. I was first intrigued with Paul when I was reading where he was ship wrecked, and a snake bit him. He didn’t make a big scene about it. Instead, he shook it off and kept it going. You see, I live in a country where if you are not from here, you aren’t seen as worthy. And it really hurt me to the core of my being to be among people who looked like me, and yet treated me like a runaway slave. I used to joke that I felt like I was going through a civil rights movement because there was so much hatred. During the time I read about Paul and his snake incident, I had a snake of my own. You see, as an executive manager of a bank, I took my time to hire a competent person to be my sec-

ond in charge. And boy was this hire a snake! I’d never dealt with a snake like this in the physical so I was totally unprepared. But Paul taught me to shake it off. Act 28 The natives showed us extraordinary hospitality; they lit a fire and welcomed all of us because it had begun to rain and was cold. Verse 2 After reading the bible from the beginning, how I treated a foreigner really mattered to me. It was a principle given by God that foreigners were to be taken in, embraced, and never shunned. The fact that these people welcomed them sparked a light for me. But he was welcomed in this foreign land. If memory serves me well, he called the people barbaric in the KJV. While I won’t say that my neighbors are barbaric, they were not all

welcoming. Paul had gathered a bundle of brushwood and was putting it on the fire when a viper, escaping from the heat, fastened on his hand. Verse 3 In the midst of Paul caring out his work, a snake decided to wiggle its head out and sneak attack him. Wow! Did you see that? Often, the snakes are the ones we least expect it to be. But this snake decided to attach itself to Paul. Makes me wonder what my snakes got out of my generosity.... When the natives saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man must certainly be a murderer; though he escaped the sea, Justice has not let him remain alive.” Verse 4

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

You see, without ever getting to know me, some people formed and idea about me. Yes, I’m real, blunt, decisive, quiet, witty, outgoing, always home, intelligent and beautiful (or so I’m told by my loving hubby), but this full package God placed in me made others shun me. They thought I was this or that, but really, I was just a cool person who was quiet at times (or most of the time when the mood hits). But he shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no harm. Verse 5 Paul didn’t let this snake get to him. Once he realized it had attached itself to him, he shook it off and went on about his business. He never wavered. He never faltered. He kept right on. Studying this taught me to shake things off and keep it moving. They were expecting him to swell up or suddenly to fall down dead but, after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god. Verse 6 And when the swelling tried to return, I quietly rebuked it and kept it stepping. You see, some people think they know but really they have no clue. When God has His hand in it, nothing can cause you harm. The weapon will form, but it won’t prosper. But not only that. Paul is about order. Everything has a time and place. Things have to be done well or don’t do it at all. He went above and beyond, and taught others the same. I, too, hold this trait, as I am a self proclaimed overachiever. On to Jeremiah. Jeremiah, was raised on the church like me (considering his dad was a priest).

The words of Jeremiah, son of Hilkiah, one of the priests from Anathoth, in the land of Benjamin. ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ So he knew all about God...didn’t he? But what drew me to Jeremiah was not his churchly upbringing, but the fact that he was set and chosen from within his mother’s womb. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you. “Ah, Lord G OD!” I said, “I do not know how to speak. I am too young!” But the LORD answered me, Do not say, “I am too young.” To whomever I send you, you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you—oracle of the LORD. Then the LORD extended his hand and touched my mouth, saying to me, See, I place my words in your mouth! ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5-9‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ I strongly believe God did the same with me. There has always been a special anointing on my life. As a child, at the young age of three, my mother found salvation through me. As a sick toddler, my fever was so high, I burned her arm. My eyes rolled in the back of my head and my dad, too tired to get up, decided I could wait until morning. That was not good enough for my mother and as she went to her knees to cry, she found herself praying and crying out to God. Since then, she has been saved, prophesying, and healing the sick in miraculous ways through the name of Jesus Christ. And since then, things just always seemed to work out for me. There was always a voice leading me. A voice I always called my own, not realizing that God touched my mouth from young! Throughout the book of Jer-

emiah, God commanded Jeremiah regarding clearing out before building up. This is exactly how I do things. As a developer by skill, I’ve learned it’s easier to start over (tear down, clear out, destroy) than to try to do things on top of: 1. Something you did not create, 2. Something poorly done, and 3. Something that is not properly documented. In order to build up, things must be cleared out. But my favorite thing about Jeremiah is the potters house setting. I went down to the potter’s house and there he was, working at the wheel. Whenever the vessel of clay he was making turned out badly in his hand, he tried again, making another vessel of whatever sort he pleased. Then the word of the LORD came to me: Can I not do to you, house of Israel, as this potter has done?—oracle of the LORD. Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, house of Israel. ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭18:3-6‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ I long to be in God’s hand. Being molded into His greatness. And God is always leading me to the word oracle. When I studied the word, I begin to understand that He wanted me to be his mouthpiece, just as Jeremiah was. Definitely he touched my mouth! While the assignment was to choose one prophet, I could not. These two prophets have really touched my life. Studying the books of Paul and the book of Jeremiah has been life changing and I can honestly say I relate to both of them in several ways.

WHATEVER YOU BELIEVE IN THE INSIDE IS WHAT YOU WILL MANIFEST ON THE OUTSIDE By Reynaldo Rodriguez

This bring us to the point we have being discussing so far, our actions holler louder than our words. If our hearts are filled with the light and grace of the Lord’s presence embraced by His Holy Spirit, Jesus words will become a sustainable and obtainable reality in our lives, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to eve-

ryone in the house.” (Matthew 5: 13 – 15). The Scriptures are not magical incarnations to be used by just anyone, but when they are used as the testimony of one who is “in Christ” and who has proved the truthfulness of the Scriptures, they become the weapons that causes the enemy to flee. Remember, we come accord with God and what He has said. When it comes to the subject of sin, we agree with God in what He teaches in His Holy Scriptures: “Yes, God, that was sin. Thank you that Christ bore the penalty for the sin at the cross, “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he

made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” (Colossians 2: 15, emphasis added). We receive by faith what He (JESUS CHRIST), did for us. Closely related to this is praise from the mouth of the child of God. Praise is a form of testimony. It is affirming the truth about God and about the victory of Christ. It is claiming victory before the victory is seen or experienced. Satan hates praise. God is “enthroned” on the praises of His people, “Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises.” (Psalms 22: 3). Praise invites the presence of God, and Satan wants to avoid

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

that at all costs. The psalmist likens praise to a horn—a horn that summons the heavenly army to battle under the command of the Lord of Hosts, “And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the Lord.” (Psalms 148: 14). In another place the psalmist says, “I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise.” (Psalms 138: 1). The image is of looking our enemy in the eye and routing him by singing praise. Prayer is another powerful weapon against this enemy. In Ephesians 6, Paul tells us to put on the armor, take up the sword, and then pray. You would expect him to say, “Now fight.” The clear implication is that Paul sees prayer not as just a weapon, but as a part of the battle itself. Prayer is often where the “struggle” against “the powers of this dark world and against supernatural forces of evil in the heavenly realms” is really fought. Prayer is striking the winning blow at the concealed enemy. Service is gathering up the results of that blow among the people we see and touch. This is why prayer is often difficult. Satan knows that if he can keep us from prayer, he can keep us from striking the winning blow in our battle against him. People often complain that when they try to pray, their minds wander, they

get sleepy, or they think of a dozen other things to do. My response is, “Welcome to the war!” When you get into the thick of things, where the decisive battle is being fought, you have to expect the action to pick up. Another factor in resisting the devil is the blood of Christ. Revelations 12: 11 says of those whom the dragon, the devil, was attacking, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” We need to be careful about using the word blood or the expression under the blood as having power in and of themselves. As we have said, God does not use magical words or formulas. Yet the Scriptures say that by the blood we are redeemed, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” (Ephesians 1: 7), justified, “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” (Romans 5: 9), cleansed, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1: 7), and made holy, “And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.” (Hebrews 13: 12), and by the blood we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place, “Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood

of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” (Hebrew 10: 19 – 22). “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4: 4) What you believe about yourselves on the inside is what you will manifest on the outside. In “Jesus Christ”, we were made to thrive.

PROPHET CORRESPONDING TO ONESELF By Tiana McCrea

Throughout life experience I feel each prophet arises within expression for edification of the Holy one and for the full expression of Christ Jesus to be made manifest in our temporal lives. These prophets arise to teach us more about who we are in the Kingdom of God. At this particular juncture in my life I find myself streaming through the pages of Jonah, called to read his words. “I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction. And he answered me.” Jonah 2:2 Transitional periods in life call on a new source of surrender and a deeper relation to living in a consistent atmosphere of the Presence of God. As this wave has called on sweet surrender crying out to Abba Father and climbing the thresholds of the unknown the test of Faith pulls on the heartstrings of patience and perseverance. Hesitation fills the space until Gods healing

light and wisdom bring a fresh anointing of grace and understanding. Abba Fathers love overwhelms me in this season or moment of transition as, “With the Voice of Thanksgiving, pay what has been vowed.” Jonah 2:8 Knowing that the work has already been made complete in Jesus Christ calls on an all-encompassing surrender unto the call. Allowing God to breathe his life into the faculties of my existence. To give a word, to spread his love, steadfast against the currents of adversity and strengthened to bring greater life to purpose. Jonah’s plight is a similarity even as one turns towards the call. For as one is called to do the work of God, we may be in the Belly for a moment knowing that the provisions of God will see what has been started to a completed end in his Glory. It is

not the work of my hands that have planted the seeds of His people. That which is watered by the Love of Christ Jesus through my surrender and willingness to be obedient is still a gift of Grace. Offered unto me and extended out unto the call of the Kingdom. The only substance that will be carried into everlasting life is that in which Christ Jesus moved through. The work of my hands is wrought not without the presence of the Holy One. It is he who has completed the work and for me, I, to come into full fruition of this Promise. May His grace, mercy and lovingkindness abounding continually turn all thought s away from disbelief into trust, faith and ongoing willingness to answer the call. Amen

SINNER’S PRAYER

Jesus was crucified on the cross just for you! He suffered so much for your healing, sorrows, and sins. He went around doing every good work, healing people and casting out demons. He took thirty nine lashes. He wore a crown of thorns and his beard was plucked out! He was spat on, falsely accused, and beaten. Will you let him in your heart today? Take a few seconds and pray this short prayer. Your life will never be the same. Lord, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins. Romans 10:9 says, “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. “I make you Lord and Savior of my life. Lord, I desire to have a relationship with you. Lord, I confess any sins of ___________. I repent Lord. Wash me in your blood in Jesus name Amen. Congratulations! If you read the above prayer, welcome to the body of Christ. The angels in heaven are rejoicing. Get connected to a local bible based church and get with someone who will hold you accountable. Your next step is to get baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 King James Version (KJV): Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

MY FAVORITE PROPHET JESUS CHRIST By Danyel Hiwat

Jesus Christ, I must say, is my all time favorite Prophet. In the Old Testament Moses foretold of Jesus’ appearance before the children of Israel entered into the Promise Land and was revealed 1,500 years later. Deuteronomy 18:15amp states “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet (Prophet) from the midst of your brethren like me [Moses]; to him you shall listen. Jesus came to not only proclaim the Word of God but is the Word of God made flesh. John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.: Verse 14 states “And the Word was made

flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Why is He my favorite Prophet? The reason that Jesus is my favorite Prophet is because He is the perfect example of how a Prophet should be. John 4 talks about a woman from Samaria. First of all the Jews have no dealing with the Samaritans. Yet Jesus in His humanity was thirsty and purposefully went out of the box to quench someone else’s thirst. He was not mean to her. He did not degrade her nor put her business out there for others to hear. He was gentle. He knew what she needed. He

was also compassionate in His delivery. Growing up in church I feared the Pastor more than God Himself. I was afraid of doing wrong because I didn’t want my business to be announced on the pulpit. At that time, that method worked but I am realizing that that fear led me to not wanting to be like that. I didn’t want to minister to someone and embarrass them. So I never wanted to say a “Thus saith the Lord”. Jesus didn’t walk around being bigger than life because He had something that we all needed. Whether it was healing or deliverance Jesus remained humbled even unto death. His example of being God in the flesh is also why I consider Him my favorite

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

Prophet. God the Son praying to God the Father being led by God the Holy Spirit. Jesus prayed to the Father and sought to do His will. He was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit. He shows me how I must live. I must too develop a relationship with the Father, be led by the Holy Spirit and pray in Jesus’ name. What was His assignment? Jesus came to do the will of the Father according to John 6:38. Luke 4:18-19 says “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” 1Timothy 1:15 says that Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Jesus was the Ultimate Sacrifice for us. No longer do we have sacrifice a lamb for the remission of our sins for He became that Lamb.

What opposition did He face? Luke 4:18-19Amp18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as deliv-

ered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], 19 to proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound]. This is the Scripture that Jesus read in hometown. In verse 24 He said that No Prophet is accepted in His own country. Shortly thereafter the priest thrusted Him out of the city and on top of a hill wanting to cast Him down. He endured being spat on, the crown of thorns, pierced in his side, ridicule, the wipes etc etc etc. No one took His life but he laid it down. How do I relate to Him? I must say that I have not nearly have gone through even ¼ of what He had gone through. I completely adore Jesus’ relationship with the Father. Jesus is my Ultimate example of how I should be. I have made God the Father as my Father since I was not raised with my natural father. I remember walking to the corner store in New Jersey talking with my Father because I knew that He was walking with me. He said that he would never leave me or forsake me so I took it for face value. At a young age, I experienced miracles after miracles. I knew that God had His hands on me. I went through in school but I knew that He was with me. Then something hap-

pened. I had a bad experience. I was assaulted numerous times by the same person which caused me to be out of work for a while and thought why Father God did not warn me about it (as if He had to report to me, How dare I). This experience changed my life. I was experiencing trances before this and preaching at least twice a month. Well, I thought life was good. I thought that all good but it was not. I remember having a dream that I had a baby and that at 10 years old I was still changing her diaper. My Pastor at the time told me that that baby was my ministry. Well for about 10years after that incident I remained in a quiet phase. I moved out of state. Got married and had 2 children. Then this time last year I had an awakening experience. It was literally like I have be sleep walking all of these years and now that I am awake I am like WHAT? Who did I marry? Me, I have children? (Anyway back to the topic.) Now I am back to rebuilding my relationship with my Father. I am now not trying to go back to how things were before the incident but God has built an even better foundation within me. So each day I aim to be like Jesus. I am here to do the will of my Father. I may not be received in my household but I have to do what God has called me to do.

MORE THAN A KING! By Floydise Paquette

Who is David? (Acts 2:30-31) “But he was a prophet, and he knew God had promised with an oath that one of David’s own descendants would sit on his throne. David was looking into the future and speaking of the Messiah’s resurrection…” et?

● Why is David my favorite proph-

Whenever we see an account or a list of the prophets of God, David is rarely included. Nevertheless, in the life of David, he has proven that our identity, purpose and calling isn’t determined by the people and who they recognize or choose, but by God Himself who alone appoints, anoints and

sets you apart for His glory.

lelujah!

For God had said of him, “This is the one; anoint him.” 1 Samuel 16:12 How often do we hear people say prophets don’t just prophesy? There is so much more to the office of a prophet—it is a multifaceted office and David embodied this as he served the Lord.

I like to put my name in the description of David in 1 Samuel 16:18: “Not only that (speaking of him as a talented harpist)—he is a brave warrior, a man of war, and has good judgment. He is also a fine-looking young man, and the Lord is with him.”

He is my favorite because he was a man after God’s own heart. He was bold and courageous. One thing I can say about myself is that I dislike monotony—I strongly dislike jobs where you’re required to do the same thing day in and day out. I love diversity. David wore many hats—who is David? He was a shepherd, a true worshipper, a warrior, a man with a strong prayer life, a king, a psalmist, a writer, and last but not least, a prophet. Hal-

He had all this going on AND the Lord was with him! You can put my name in this text any time. It reminds me of what was said of Jesus in Acts 10:38 “And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” You can put my name in this text too—thank God we were sent just as

John 20:21 ● How I relate to David David put words to the desire of my heart when he wrote Psalm 27:4: “One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.” This is my desire—being in the secret place, dwelling in His house, beholding His beauty and glory and inquiring in His temple—asking questions and receiving answers.

in this stage of his life. Had it not been for this training, he would have never known that he could slay Goliath.

David faced some very real opposition. He faced what we know as the beasts of the field—lions and bears.

He said, “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17:36

He faced what we know as demonic kings, starting with Goliath and then the kings that opposed the people of Israel. He had many enemies, which began with Saul and included even his own children (Absalom). He had to deal with his own sin and the iniquities of his heart—he committed adultery with Bathsheba, impregnated her and had her husband killed. Then he had to deal with the death of his own son as a consequence.

David was a friend of God—you can’t be a man after God’s own heart and not be His friend. To have the desire and the privilege and honor to speak for God, you have to want to be His friend and you have to want His Can it get worse—he had to face heart. the incestuous rape of his daughter at the hands of his own son Amnon. It is required, not only for prophets of God, but for children of God, to come to the realization that we don’t fight with sword, spear or javelin, but we stand before our enemies in the name of the Lord Almighty. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. 1 Corinthians 10:4 David’s second assignment was an armor bearer—he served a king before he reigned as a king. As leaders appointed by God and serving in the office of a prophet and in any capacity to which he sets His children, we have to be content with the position of a servant, for Jesus Himself had said, he came not to be served but to serve. Matthew 20:28 It was in the position of an armor bearer, the position of serving, that he was noticed for his skill and was therefore promoted. It was said that he was successful in every assignment that he was given. He became commander and subsequently stepped into his destined place as a king. Even as we remember David’s role as a king, which was his primary assignment, we don’t disregard his true calling as a prophet of God. Likewise, as we serve God through our ministries, through the gifts of God, through the miracles, signs and wonders, and in our set positions or assignments, we always have to be mindful of our call and then that which flows from it. DANIEL By Malisa Heinig

Why Daniel is my favorite prophet: In all honesty there is so much about Daniel that I love! There was so much greatness about him, that he himself never even understood. I admire his humility. This man of God had the favor of God on him. Daniel 1:9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel. He stood before kings, he was at their right hand, he was so full of wisdom and discernment. Daniel 1:10 In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king

questioned them, he found them ten times better then all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom. He also chose to live a righteous lifestyle from a very young age. He had great dreams and visions and was one out of two people in the whole bible that could interpret dreams. No matter how high God brought him, with ranking high among the kings or no matter how low, being in a place of being unknown, being in that cave type of setting, he stayed humble. When it was his time to shine, he shined. When it was time to go into hiding, he

hid. He was content with however God used him. And he obeyed the Lords every command. He was the example of how we ought to be. Obedient, righteous, humble, anointed and used by God. How I relate to Daniel: Daniel was a dreamer and a great interpreter. God used him greatly, but he was also hated. He was hated by jealous men, he was falsely accused and sentenced to death. I would love to say I relate to Daniel in all sorts of ways, I would love to say I was always obedient and humble. (The things I admire about him)

REJOICE ESSENTIAL MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2016

But I can’t fully say that, there has been times I’ve been far from that. Where I relate, would be where I had some lions den moments. Daniel 6:16 Then the king gave a command, and Daniel was brought and thrown into the den of lions. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you constantly serve, rescue you Himself!” In one particular situation, I was about 7 years old. I was a strong dreamer, but had no idea of my prophetic gifting, let alone dreams were gifts from God or that I had any type of calling. There was this (who we thought) sweet old woman who became my caregiver, while my parents worked. At first things were fine. But one day things took a sudden change. She had physically abused me and threw me up against the wall and screamed in my face. She had forced me to run out on a busy road, in front of cars. A car almost hit me, only an Angel of God could have saved me! I was just standing in the road, staring at this car.. This woman was literally trying to do me in. She would send me to play in my room and set up awful messes around the house, she would tell my parents I was uncontrollable and made those

messes. She would stay and listen while I was being punished. During that time, I was having A lot of repeated dreams. I would dream that snakes would be in our home and devour things. But sadly we had no idea what they meant, we thought they were “only dreams” . The caregiver admitted to my parents she was a practicing witch, she also had admitted that she hated me. She proceeded to tell my parents that I was born on her mothers birthday and she hated her mother, therefore she hated me and I was evil. Thank the lord, that was the last time I ever saw her, but the beginning of crazy attacks from the enemy. Since then, I’ve learned about dreams and have learned what God is speaking to me about coming attacks. He faithfully gives me dreams and surrounds me with his angels. What oppositions Daniel faced: Daniel did have great favor with God, he was put in wonderful positions ( above all wise men) with kings. He was given great rewards, which made others jealous. Daniel may have been loved by kings, but many wanted the positions he held, they

wanted to be number one with King Darius and they wanted Daniel gone! They tried to find any type of fault in him they could, but there was no type of corruption to be found in him. Because Daniel was so faithful and trustworthy. Saying “ We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God” Daniel 6:5. So they devised a plan.. Daniel 6:7 All the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and satraps, the counselors and advisers, have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree, that whoever petitions any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions. So they boosted up the pride in the king and he agreed to the plan they devised. King Darius then put the decree in writing. Daniel had heard about the decree but he had more fear and love for God. So, he continued to open his window and pray on his knees just as he had done before. So, of course the men found Daniel praying, just as they thought they would. They ran to the king and explained what Daniel was doing and reminded him of the decree he signed.

King Darius was greatly distressed, he was determined to help Daniel, but failed. They brought Daniel and threw him in the lions den.The king the said, Daniel 6:16 “ May your God, whom you serve continually rescue you” Soon as the king awoke he went to see Daniel. He called to him, and Daniel answered! Daniel 6:22. My God sent his angels and he shut the mouths of the lions, they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Our God is so full of love, grace and mercy that he sends his angels to us continually. If we are obedient, he will send us his protection, just as he did Daniel. What was Daniels assignment: Daniel was a dreaming Prophet, Daniel 1:17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all kinds of literature and wisdom; Daniel also understood all kinds of visions and dreams. A lot of what he was called to do had to do with dreams and visions and interpreting others dreams. He interpreted dreams for 3 kings, For King Nebuchadnezzar, King Belshazzar and King Darius. He had wisdom of God that shook a king and brought him

to repentance. His prayers released angelic intervention, he was shown Gods end time revelation in a series of dreams and visions, which led him to write the book a Daniel. He saw great world empires that were to come. (Daniel 7:1-14) He saw the power of God and even Jesus, “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, on the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. Even though we may not completely understand all he saw, he left us with a big picture

of the future, he showed us how to be obedient, how to be humble and how to walk into the lions den, if called, and how to come out victorious. He showed us to keep faith in God and that God will always take care of us! For all of this, I am grateful. I’m thankful to be able to soak up his teachings and learn from him.

PROPHETIC ENCOURAGEMENT

These are the words giving to Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves by the Holy Spirit during her prayer time. These are the notes from Periscope.

Scriptures for meditation: Isaiah 40:29-31 (KJV) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint Romans 5:3-4 (KJV) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Psalm 27:14 (KJV) Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Jonah means Dove. It also means peace and purity. He was the son of Amittai. He was from Gath Hepher. He was under the reign of King Jeroboam II in 792 B.C to 753 B.C. He was called to Nineveh which is the capital of Assyria. God has compassion even in our foolishness. The book of Jonah shows how the hand of the Lord is upon his prophets. Jonah was only compassionate towards Israel but not on other Nations. God is sovereign and was in control of the storm. He orchestrated a big fish to swallow up this rebellious prophet. Jonah couldn’t flee from God.

He rebelled when he got his assignment. After Jonah had been in the fish for three days and three nights, he prayed a prayer of deliverance and God cause the fish to vomit Him up. Then He obeyed God and went to Nineveh and spoke what the Lord told Him, “In 40 Days Nineveh shall be overthrown/ destroyed.” The people believed and fasted and God changed His mind. Prophecy can be conditional. Jonah got mad about their deliverance but God was still kind He prepared a plant over Jonah to give Him shade/shelter but caused a worm to eat it the next day. This was a lesson to Jonah as an example of Nineveh who didn’t know right from wrong.

Obadiah was Ahab’s steward. He put his life on the line by hiding one hundred prophets of God in a cave. He hid fifty to a cave and feed them bread and water. Jezebel was trying to killed the prophets. (1 Kings 18:3-18). Obadiah is a minor prophet. His name means servant of the Lord. He had a seer anointing or vision (Obadiah 1:1). The book of Obadiah deals with the feud between Israel and Edom or the between the descendants of Jacob and Esau. Jacob and Esau were brothers. The Edomites were descendants of Esau. Edom is located east of the Dead Sea. God gave a word of correction to the Edomites for their treachery. Treachery is betrayal or violation of trust. Treachery against a relative is never justified and will be judged by the God of justice. In 586 B.C. Nebuchadnezzar’s Army crushed Judah and destroyed Jerusalem and Solomon’s temple which ended Judah’s existence as an independent nation. Edom betrayed their brothers and helped the Babylonians destroy the Israelites. They killed some of the refugees instead of helping them. Edom should’ve offered sympathy. They were prideful people. They thought just because they were in the mountain’s clefts they were untouchable. Eventually they were conquered by their Arab neighbors and their land was taken over. Obadiah’s prophecy encouraged the surviving Judeans’ that God had not forsaken them. Ezekiel also prophesied against Edom (Ezekiel 25:12-14). The book of Obadiah shows God’s sovereignty over all nations whether or not these nations acknowledge God or not. God shows mercy and favor in the times of distress. Obadiah verse 3 shows Edomites were prideful people. They were high in the mountains. Verse 18 showed judgement pronounced. Prophets are sensitive to God’s

presence. They are grieved when the Holy Spirit is grieved. They don’t like Ichabod churches (1 Samuel 4:21). Prophets see and expose the enemy (2 Kings 6:10-12). Prophets have high standards but have to be careful not to be over critical or deliver the word in a harsh critical spirit. Prophets must operate in love. Prophets face rejection but don’t allow it to cause bitterness and frustration. Prophets must die to self in order to be Christ centered and not self-centered. Prophets have high highs and low lows. Prophets have to be careful not to fall into the pit of despair. Dying to self helps prophets not to fall into the trap of staying in disappointment, resentment, self-pity, or anger. Sometimes prophets have lots of disappointments. They can see clearly what God is doing and how things should be yet they have to wait in faith longer because they can see further ahead. Everytime the prophet Jeremiah opened up his mouth he got in trouble. He was ridiculed, persecuted, and He wanted to quit. He was thrown into a well or cistern (Jeremiah 38). He couldn’t get quit (Jeremiah 20:9). Prophets feel rejected because they don’t have any relationships of worth or value. They like to go into the cave and hide or withdraw. 1 Corinthians 14:34 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 1 Timothy 2:11-12 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. God is the head of man, man head of woman, etc… of 1 Corinthians 14, and much of the epistle, is order and structure in the church. chaos and lack of order rampant in that assembly (verse 33). Everyone in the church service was participating with whatever expres-

sion they desired, whenever they desired. As a result, those with the gift of tongues were speaking simultaneously, those with a revelation from God were shouting out randomly, and no one was concerned with interpreting what was being said, even if what was said could be heard above the din. The meetings quickly descended into chaos. Part of the confusion in the Corinthian church included women speaking in tongues and prophesying; these women were taking the lead in the services instead of being submissive to the authorities in the church budding prophet will be thrashed, beaten, scorned, humiliated, laughed at and rejected will fall into error and rise again; until God rules in every part of him God teaches in the rude world of trial and error Developed: transition is turbulence, rocky, trust the process God knows what he is doing. God takes much time to mould, fashion, train, refine, purge, break down, build up, discipline and create His prophets. Yield to that process. It cannot be rushed, Don;t hindered it. Purged: When God call Isaiah to the prophetic office, He first purged his mouth with a burning coal from the golden altar of incense of heaven. God’s prophets still need their mouths purged before speaking in the name of God must die to self, daily. His word must not be his own. There are dire warnings upon the prophet who speaks not out of God’s Spirit but from the contrary winds of his own soul (Jer 23, Ez 13). What discipline, training and chastisement is required! Misunderstood: they may appear arrogant or pushy because of their zeal. (they don’t know how much you are on your face at night crying out before God) Sometimes the preparation of the prophet may include a time in the isolation of the wilderness.

You got a word of knowledge of right ovarian cyst. You prayed that the cyst would leave in Jesus name, my right lower abdominal area got really hot. You prayed for me, then you went and prayed for another person then the Holy Spirit directed you back to me and that’s when I felt fire on my left lower abdomen. This is going to sound crazy but I could feel something being moved in that area during the same

I can feel strength rising within me when I listen to your CD, “Prayers That Bombard Heaven.” Hello Woman of God. I just ordered two of your books. I am so excited. I can’t wait to read them. You prayed for me about a week ago. My God instantly the headache left when you told me stand. I also inbox you about a month ago asking for prayers regarding me traveling to my island. I know God is going to open doors. Thank you so much. I pray God continue to bless you in every area of your life. Peace I thank God for healing in my shoulders. I was on this periscope or Facebook LIVE. I can’t remember which. I’ve had pain in my shoulders for the longest time. Through the power of God it’s gone! I declare and decree that my healing shall be permanent in Jesus Name. Thank you for allowing God to use you for His Glory. It shall be well with you. I have never felt so clean as I do today still 5 minutes to 6 pm. Thank you Prophetess Kim for the message today. It was amazing to hear my Father’s words as you prophesied over me. It was the most amazing beautiful love way down in my heart. I felt as if I was cradled in his arms. Hallelujah! The Lord has really been dealing with me Prophetess. Thank you for being obedient. In service today, the worship leader was exalting. Then she spoke about healing, “the Lord wants to heal your heart.” Immediately I knew. I just want to give him praise AGAIN! I felt that burning again. Oh God is awesome. He’s healing me. He’s really doing it! Wow! He’s showing he’s not a figment of my imagination! Whew! I am so out done!! September 21, 2014. You told me you had a vison of me and Andy fishing and embracing. I don’t know if I told you or not but our new house has a huge pond full of fish. Peace and blessings to you Woman of God. You gave me a prophetic word from God earlier this month on your prayer call. You told me to expect something significant to happen in 3 weeks. You said God showed you a house while speaking to me. I shared with you that I have been trying to sell my

home for the past two years. I also shared that I believe God gave me a selling price of ($160,000). I ended up dropping the price with the second realtor in the month of July to $147, 500 because she didn’t think it was wise to put the house back on the market after taking it off a couple of months for the same price. Nevertheless, the $160,000 still remains on my heart.

is opening up doors for her business. God even multiplied her seed where she had an extra $200 to do something special for her daughter.

Fast forward, after you prophetic word, three weeks came and I received several phone calls from my realtor and she said I had an offer on my house. It came in the form of a rent to purchase offer. I was a little nervous about the offer, my realtor and attorney didn’t think it was a good move to accept. I prayed. Didn’t have any confidence that the offer would go through, so I declined it. Later in prayer, I asked God if I had missed an opportunity by declining the offer and if I did, I asked Him to please turn heart of the person to ask me to reconsider the offer. Friday of last week, I received a call from my realtor stating the person wanted me to reconsider his rent to purchase offer. She also told me I had an additional offer on the house as well.

I went on a fast and spent the day praying along with your video and the prayer cloth that you sent me. I felt my hands and feet tingle. It was powerful. I received some type of impartation.

Prophetess Kimberly, prior to your prophetic word, I had not received any offers on the house in the two years it has been on the market. I have decided to go with the rent to purchase deal, as I believe God answered my prayer in moving the person to ask me to reconsider. This may also be God’s way of showing me mercy by positioning me to receive the $160,000 he initially gave me as an asking price through rent and actual purchase of the property. I don’t know, I am trusting God! Always seeking Him for guidance and direction. Oh, the other offer came in below my asking price. Thank you, so much for your prophetic word, Your love for God and obedience to His call on your life. God bless you and prosper all your hands touch in Jesus name. God showed me a vision of my pastor getting off his walker. He had just had hip surgery a few weeks prior. I proclaimed the vision the Lord gave me and it came to pass. The next day, he got off the walker. He threw it down the stairs and started praising God. -Kimberly Hargraves Mrs. Me sowed a small seed. Now God

This lady who was scheduled for knee surgery had it was canceled after much prayer. God healed her. The doctors were puzzled about her healing.

I had to take domestic violence classes for 36 weeks. After much prayer and fasting, the Lord blessed me to only take 30 domestic violence classes. I was trying to get pregnant for 4 years, after Kimberly prayed for me, God healed my womb and the spirit of barrenness left. Now I am pregnant with my first child. Two weeks before the ministry TV bill was set to be expired, God blessed me to pay off the TV for a year. I was only asking Him to pray the bill for one month. However, God allowed me to pay it off for a whole year. He expected my expectations. There was a bad hail storm in my city and my car got damaged. When I took my car to get estimated for damages, the insurance company totaled my car. Now I am blessed and looking forward to getting a new car. God kept his word and allowed me to get a new car. Every day for the last two weeks, I was having headaches. Yesterday on periscope you prayed for those who were having headaches. My headache instantly left and has not returned. You told me during periscope to ask my husband if he had been hearing from God. He replied and said, “God speaks to him all the time.” He said that he would have never realized it without me asking him tonight. He said that when he was reading the newspaper looking at obituaries, God told him to pray for the ones who had lost their love ones.
