Lord, I confess and repent of my sins today. Your word says in 1 John 1:9 that if I confess my sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Lord, I decree that I am the righteousness of God and I receive it by faith. The devil is a liar and he can no longer condemn me about my past because my past is covered in the blood of Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for your favor, deliverance, provision, success, and answers to my prayers that comes from being righteous. Thank you Lord in Jesus name Amen.

Did you know that righteousness is a gift? That’s right! It’s a free gift offered to you by faith through Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 says, “Receive the abundance of grace and the FREE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. That’s right, when you accept this free gift of righteousness; you will reign in this life. That means no matter how evil or how mess up a situation is you will overcome it through your righteousness in Christ. Love endures all. Christ has giving us the victory. So what does righteousness mean? It simply means to be right with God. This is powerful because Jesus died for us and bore the penalty of our sins so we can have access to the God the Father. Righteousness is not a feeling but it’s based on your faith. No matter how awful you sinned in the past, if you confess your sins and repent, God will cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Will you accept this free gift? This gift of righteousness has so many benefits.

For thou, LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor will thou compass him as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12) 2) DELIVERANCE. “The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17) 3) PROVISION. “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread … The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.” (Psalm 37:25, 29) 4) SUCCESS. “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm 92:12) 5) ANSWERS TO PRAYERS. “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers…” (1 Peter 3:12)

Wouldn’t be wonderful to know that God hears and will answer your prayers without any doubt? It starts with righteousness. Righteousness is a free gift that you can obtain by faith in Jesus. It’s not a feeling. The worse sinners can become the righteousness in Christ. Most people prayers aren’t heard because of their lack of righteousness. Proverbs 15:29 says, “The LORD is far from the wicked: but he hears the prayer of the righteous.” The prayers of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). So if you want results to your prayers, accept the gift of righteousness. Dear Heavenly Father, I come humbly but boldly to your throne. I confess my sins and repent Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and I want him to come into my heart and have a relationship with me. Lord, wash me from all unrighteousness. I decree that I am now the righteousness of God and I am alive and hidden in Christ Jesus. I decree that you Lord will hear and give me answers to my prayers as you will and not as I will. to Webster, agitate is to move or force into violent, irregular action. It can also mean to disturb or excite emotionally. Subsequently, it could mean to call to attention by speech or writing. Are you facing a trial or tribulation and you are agitated during the storm in your life? God wants your attention. He wants you to focus on him so he will get you through the adversity. CONQUERING LIES Marcus had secret sin in his life. While his wife, Sally laid downstairs in their bedroom, Marcus was upstairs on his computer. she did not want to have anything to do with him. Marcus humbled himself and cried out to God. God began to change Marcus from the inside out and after a few months others began to see the change in him. One day while at the grocery store, Marcus and Sally bumped into each other. Sally saw how Marcus was different and Marcus told her that he had given his life to God. Marcus invited Sally to church and she went the following Sunday. Sally gave her life to Christ soon

2 Corinthians 7:14 says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” This is exactly what Marcus did; he humbled himself and prayed to God. God heard his prayers and helped him overcome his lying and restored his marriage. Marcus found the following scriptures and mediated on them to help him overcome lying: Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.” John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed

I confess that I have a lying tongue and I repent for this. I struggle in this area and I know you are the only one who can help me. John 8:32 says “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Proverbs 16:13 says Righteous lips are the delight of a king, and he loves him who speaks what is right. John 17:17, Sanctify me in the truth; your word is truth.

Lord, I will walk in victory since I serve you and not in defeat. I can do all things in Christ that strengthens me. Lord as in Ephesians 6:16, I will put on the belt of truth daily as part of the full armor of God so that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I decree this day, that I will not let no corrupt communicate come out of my mouth because I am the righteousness of God. In Jesus name Amen. Scriptures to Mediate on to Overcome Lying: Leviticus 19:11 (ESV), “You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.” Proverbs 19:22 (ESV), “What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.” Proverbs 12:19 (ESV),” Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.”

I decree that I shall live and not die and profess the works of the Lord of Jesus Christ. Lord, your word tells me in John 14:12 that if I believe in you, I will also do greater works than what Jesus had done. Lord, thank you that I can cast out demons and speak in new tongues (Mark 16:17). Lord, thank you that I can speak to mountains because of my faith and nothing will be impossible to me (Matthew 17:20). Lord, bless me to be like the apostles; everywhere I preach, may you confirm the message by accompanying signs (Mark 16:20). Lord, may your Glory be upon me as you use me as a vessel of servant hood. By faith, I declare that I have the anoint-

I decree Proverbs 28:1 that I am the righteous of God, and I am bold as a lion. Acts 4:29 (ESV) says, “And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness.” Lord, let the Holy Spirit fill me so I can continue to speak the word of God with boldness. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Ephesians 6:18 (ESV) says, “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” Lord, bless me to put on love today and continue to pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, I know you are here with me and will protect me through it all. Second Thessalonians 3:3 (ESV) says, “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” I will overcome this tribulation because Romans 8:37 (NJV)says “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Second Samuel 8:6 says, “I have victory wherever I go.” First Timothy 6:12 (KJV) says, “Fight the good fight of faith,” so I refuse to give up. This is not my battle to fight but the Lord’s. Luke 10:19 (NIV) says, “That you have given me the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, nothing will harm me.” I declare that I shall not fear because Jesus has overcome have the world. I grew up not really knowing my mother. I knew who she was, but had not seen her since I was about five years old, so it was like I did not really know her. She would write to my brother and me, but I never got to see her or talk to her. My father was very abusive toward her when they were married, so she was in no hurry to see him again. Since he would never leave her alone, in today’s world he would be called a stalker and domestic abuser, she gave us up to him after a while just so she could be free from his abuse. I have gotten to know her in my grown life, and I love her very much. People don’t always do what you want, as we all do the best we can, and as a Christian, it is my job to forgive. Who better to forgive than your own mother? Life with my father was no picnic. He was very abusive to my stepmother and my brother and me. He was an alcoholic, and was even mean when he was

not drinking, which was very rare, as he drank every day. When he was drinking, he was even meaner. I grew up seeing him abuse and even try to kill my stepmother, shooting a gun at her. It was the same gun that he held to me and my brother’s heads, promising to kill us if she did not give him $200. She gave it to him, and I am still here. So is my brother. We stopped living with my father when I was 10 years old. He kept moving us around, so by the time we stopped living with him, we were living in Louisville, Kentucky. That is where I grew up. When I was about 11 or 12, my brother and I started going to a Baptist church, which had a bus that would come pick us up. I gave my life to Christ when I was 12. I was baptized a week or two after I was saved. It was not long after that I started to know some things that my Pastor was saying were not right. I did not know how I knew. I just knew.

I began to know that some Preachers are not right with what they tell you, but most do preach what God gives them. Most churches back then would tell you that you will go to hell if you drink one beer and smoke one cigarette, which is what my Pastor said. My Spirit told me right away that he was wrong. God is not sending you to hell for drinking a beer. Jesus said for you not to

do whatever they want to do and it is okay. However, they are only fooling themselves, because even though it is not our job to judge them, it is God’s job to judge them, and they are not safe from judgment from Him. They say that only God can judge them, thinking in their own minds that He really is not going to, I suppose. It is kind of like tempting your own fate. Watch out what you

ask for, because you just may get it. I had a long struggle to grow up as I lived in the neighborhood where the walk home was not safe at all. I got through it, and I am okay. All my life, I knew I was different, but I did not know why until about 12 years ago. God spoke to me and told me to write a book. It was a long process of learning from Jesus, as He would, and still does, talk to my heart. What I need to know, He gives me through the Holy Spirit. He told me that I am a Prophet, but I did not want to accept that at first. I have come to accept that I am what I am, but I still do not use the title of what God made me to be, as I believe the world doesn’t really care what you say you are, and God will let people who need to know who and what you are know that anyway. It is the work that you do that shows who and what you are. I have read the Old Testament and most of the New Testament, but it is what Jesus tells me that moves and motivates me. Jesus sent me here to tell the world that He is still in love with us, and wants a relationship with each of us. He also sent me here to tell people that He is coming soon, and that Satan has fooled you long enough. Politically correct is not God correct. The world says you have to accept things that

are not okay with God, and makes it hard to not go along with. This is a sign to you that Jesus is about to come again. Some things sound good, because Satan has used Jesus’ words to confuse people. Yes, Jesus loves everyone, but no, He does not love your sin. Satan has you believing otherwise. I came to give you the real feelings of Jesus. He gives me His Words and I write His books. All the titles are His, not mine. I can write nothing without His wisdom and guidance. He sent me to earth for this purpose, to be God’s writer. When He gives me the title of a book, and then the title of a chapter, I sit down and let the Holy Spirit guide me through it. The first book I wrote for the LORD came out on September 2012. The second one came out February 2013, then the next three came out one after the other, as all three came out in a four month period, being October 2013, November 2013 and January 2014. Books are my Ministry, and speaking engagements will follow. Jesus is always giving me things to write, so I carry a lot of pens in my pocket, so I can write them down. My hobbies are like other men. I like to watch sports on the television, mainly basketball, football and NASCAR racing. I spend a lot of time with my kids, with two of them still at home, so that takes place of a lot of hobbies that I am not interested in anyway. Mainly, what I think about all the time is doing the work that God gave me to do. He sent me here for this purpose, so I will never be finished writing His Words as Jesus gives them to me. The main reason for these wonderful books from the LORD is to let people know that He is still here with us, and that He loves us most of all. Jesus said He would never leave us, and He hasn’t. He is just a prayer or conversation away. He loves when we talk to Him, as He wants to be the most important part of our lives. He knows that we truly need Him to get through each and every day that we live, as He sees and knows how hard this world is for us. When I was 23, my wife and I got married. It was not easy to find a Preacher to marry us, saying they did not believe

in mixed marriages. I am white and my wife is black. We have six beautiful biracial children who know they are loved and they are God’s. They are never confused about who they are. They know they are the best of both worlds, and that God sent them that way. God made all of us as equals, so I don’t know where they were getting their prejudices from, but it was not from God. We have six beautiful bi-racial children. And, yes, they do know who and what they are, as God made them to be the amazing people that they are. I did not plan my future, so it has been a struggle, but God is always there. I rededicated my life to Christ 12 years ago, and the truth about Jesus just came upon me. I know now that He made me to come to earth and give the world His Words for this last day in time. I am not just a Prophet, but I am the new Messenger, like John the Baptist. I also come before Jesus will. I do not claim this, but just acknowledge what Jesus has told me. I could only deny it for so long, and then I had to admit my purpose. I could lie to you and say that I am not the Messenger, but why would I do that? That is what Satan wants me to do, but I do not serve Satan. I serve God. I spend a lot of time on writing the Words that Jesus gives me, as I can get a title and idea at any time from the LORD. The Prophecies I receive I write in the books Jesus gives me. There is information from Jesus that you will not get anywhere else. I have seen people who have read the books I write lift themselves up from the sorrows they were in, and learn to appreciate the life that God has given them. They have learned that they have a brighter future if they follow Jesus and what He says. So much of God’s love goes into every book I write for Him. Divine revelations and wisdom directs the words that go into each book, as they come to me from

Heaven’s King, Jesus. If I had to give any advice to someone starting a Ministry, I would and will say this: First you have to have the calling from Jesus, not yourself. Next, you have to be patient, as God moves in His time, which is slower than ours. ( He also works faster than we do in other ways, but the point is that it is in His time and not ours.) He will give you something to do today, but not give you all you need to do it for another ten years, as He did me. Also, you have to have a genuine love for others or you will not be a good servant of the LORD. Listen to the Holy Spirit inside of you, or you will fail. Get yourself out of the way, and don’t be afraid to do what God tells you to do. He will give you wisdom, usually coming from others for your sup-

port, and other people to help you with your mission. God never sends anyone out alone. Be aware when the right people come along, and do not be fooled by people who want to use you. Many people will come saying they are on your side, but then they will let you down. Jesus will never let you down. And, know this, if you have been sent by God, almost everyone you ever meet will be against you. There will be those who God sends to help, but be careful, as most do not come to help, but to hurt. pit of lifelessness. God has set eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11). As a result, we long for something eternally good. We long for something that will nourish our hearts and provide fertile ground for us to grow. When relationships are toxic, current situations seem never-ending and when we have no clue about what to do, hopelessness and defeat set in….been there many times.

Have you ever been depressed with suicidal thoughts? I have. One thing I can say for sure is that both conditions are REAL. Many times, it’s embarrassing to admit that you feel hopelessly stuck in a situation or relationship. At other times, you feel so drained of energy that you feel depleted of options and the desire to fight is nonexistent. Maybe you are afraid to seek help because you think that others will feel that you are weak. Perhaps you fear that something dear will be taken away like your children

or job. For various reasons you unwillingly remain in the pit of depression hoping to be rescued. But nobody comes. There’s no knight in shining armor and no loving hand to pull you out. You seem to be drowning and there’s no lifesaver. You are functioning, going through the motions, but none of it means anything anymore…right?….I know. Truth is, when you look deeper into your heart, you’ll find that you actually DON’T want to die. You’re just tired of NOT LIVING. Depression is a

Here’s what I’ve learned. Even when life gets the best of me and nobody seems to see, care or understand, there is a force greater than it all cheering for me, believing in me and loving me to a place of hope. Sometimes that place of hope takes a while to recognize because of the pain. But IF your desire to live begins to trump the restlessness of NOT living, you will have a chance at coming out of depression and stepping into a life of purpose. Here’s something you can do. Start looking for things that give you life RIGHT NOW. You know the things that you used to think that you could not live without? For me, nature gives me life. Music, warm baths, scented oils, cooking,

Do whatever you have to do in order to reconnect with life again. Step outside and feel the wind on your cheeks. Walk in the grass with your bare feet. Sit down at your favorite restaurant and really savor every taste. You CAN live again. You WILL live again. It is a known fact that depression may be negatively influenced by dysfunctional relationships. It is also known that depression can influence dysfunction in relationships. Consider this scenario. You feel depressed as a result of some situation or event. You want to be heard and comforted but your friend or spouse seems to ignore your need and pressure you to meet his/hers. You feel unable to meet the need because you feel overwhelmed, drained and tired of being strong. You want to collapse into the arms of love but those arms are not available. You begin

to feel increasingly overwhelmed, saddened and now you feel guilty for being so selfish. You push your feelings aside, put on your game face and you get about the business of taking care of others. Usually you feel satisfied and happy that you were able to help. Today, you feel resentful that you gave more than you wanted to and now you’re alone with an empty fuel tank.

My friend, self-care is a need. Jesus often retreated to the mountains to commune with The Father. I can only imagine how refreshed he felt. Consider how refreshed he needed to feel in order to stay true to his purpose. Imagine yourself feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Imagine cheerful giving. Imagine, feeling satisfied rather than drained at the end of the day. Sounds nice?

The above scenario is the case of many Christians who believe that caring for others is more important than self-care. I submit to you the opposite. Self-care is just as important as caring for others. God desires us to give out of the abundance of his grace and love. But, if you give grudgingly or unwillingly, the result is bitterness and we know that the bible cautions us about the dangers of “roots of bitterness”. Jesus endorsed the most important commandment of all: “Love the Lord your God with ALL of your heart……”.

You can have abundant life. It’s one of our gifts from Jesus Christ. Take care of yourself. If you need to vent, pray then call someone who will allow you to vent without judgment. If you need compassion, first, offer it to yourself. For example, you feel that you really blew it with the kids. You forgot a doctor’s appointment. You gave them McDonald’s for dinner and you didn’t feel like giving them a bath. You sent them to bed with just a wash off. Remember, you are human. You do not need to be perfect. You accomplished a lot today. Write a list of what you accomplished. Celebrate that you can try again tomorrow. When nobody else appreciates you, become masterful at appreciating yourself. I promise you’ll be happy that you did.

How can you love him with all of your heart when most of your heart consumed with bitterness, self-neglect and busyness? You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, you are IMPORTANT to God. When you are healthy and full, you give health and fullness to others. When you give from an empty tank, you reap bitterness, loneliness and resentment. Are you still considering self-care as selfish?

Now, I know this isn’t a cure for depression but it sure is a great place to start. I want to see you win!

You know, the thing about depression is that it seems to zap enjoyment out of life. You MUST step into life again. Begin with things that make your heart smile. Try new things that invigorate you. IT’S ALL ABOUT GOD WRITTEN BY REYNALDO RODRIGUEZ Paul tell us that “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4: 4). A deceived person believes a lie and is thus blind to the truth. Satan doesn’t care how close you come to the tuth--as long as you miss it. This is why one of his favorite disguises is to appear as an angel of light or as a servant of righteousness, “For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It

is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” (2 Corinthians 11: 13 - 15). When people think they are being very religious in what they believe or what they do, they assume that they must be right. “Just so you are sincere,” the enemy will say. “Religion is a very important thing. You have to discover what is true for you.” Even a hasty survey of the world indicates that he has been very successful at this. One can fond religious belief systems of all kinds, and the prevailing thought of contemporary culture is that

any one of them will get you to your desired goal. It is socially acceptable today to talk about spirituality, but it is not politically correct to believe that God has spoken authoritatively in the Scriptures and in the person of HIS SON. So it is still true that the whole unbelieving world “is under the control of the evil one” (1 John 5: 19), kept there with the simple device of a lie. Since my concern is about the spiritual warfare of the believer, we turn now to a consideration of the relationship between Satan and the believer. When a person comes to the cross and moves from Satan’s

camp into God’s camp, a lot of things change. Paul says that such a person becomes a new creation, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5: 17). One thing that doesn’t change is Satan’s tactic. He is still the liar and deceiver he has always been, speaking to the Pharisees of His time, Jesus shares some input, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8: 44), and in the Book of Revelations, “The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” (Revelations 12: 9). We do not become immune to his deceit simply by becoming followers of Christ. In fact, we will discover

that he steps up his attacks considerably, because now we have the capacity to live to he glory of God, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10: 31) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2: 8 - 10), and we have the potential to help people move from Satan’s kingdom into God’s kingdom, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28: 19 - 20) He is therefore more concerned with neutralizing the child of God than with harassing those who are already in his own king-

The world, the flesh, and the devil are three powerful enemies the Christian believer struggle with. Discussion of spiritual warfare sooner or later gets around to asking what the relationship is between the world, the flesh and the devil. Paul introduces all three elements into his definitive statement about this warfare. He says: “As for you, don’t you remember how you used to just exist? Corpses, dead in life, buried by transgressions, wandering the course of this perverse world. You were the offspring of the prince of the power of air—oh, how he owned you, just as he still controls those living in

disobedience. I’m not talking about the outsiders alone; we were all guilty of falling headlong for the persuasive passions of this world; we all have had our fill of indulging the flesh and mind, obeying impulses to follow perverse thoughts motivated by dark powers. As a result, our natural inclinations led us to be children of wrath, just like the rest of humankind.” (Ephesians 2: 1 – 3).

Ultimately Paul knows all powers have been subjected to Jesus, the God-man, and He is destined to be head over all creation. In the resurrection of Jesus, the ultimate redemption of the cosmos has begun, and the church is the first act of God’s glorious drama.

Often in his letters, Paul records his prayers for his churches. He is constantly talking with God about those he considers his spiritual children. He prays that God will grant them wisdom, knowl-

Satan is called the “prince” (NIV) or “ruler” (NASB) of this world (kosmos) by Jesus, “Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.” (John 12: 31), “I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;” (John 14: 30), “and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.” (John 16: 11), and we are commanded not to love this world, “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2: 15). In a sense Satan created the world that is in view here—the world of fallen human culture—and he is the ruler of the world. This was not part of the world as it came from the creative hand

of God, however. God created the world of people and things, and He rules over that creation, “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1: 17). “And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” (Hebrews 1: 3). The physical world reveals God’s glory, and we are not to reject this, It is part of what God has given us to enjoy, “Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.” (1 Timothy 6: 17), and the world of people created by God is a proper object of our love. God Himself “so loved the world [of people] that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but to have eternal life” (John 3: 16). Thus, the world of people and things as God created it is good. It is not our enemy. It is proper to enjoy God’s good creation.

them as working so closely together that you really can’t understand one without seeing the way it relates to the others. The biblical terms world (kosmos) and flesh (sarx) can have very different meanings. There is very little ambiguity About Satan’s identity in the Bible, but that cannot be said about the definitions of world and flesh.

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL WARFARE? WRITTEN BY REYNALDO RODRIGUEZ

If spiritual warfare is not just going around rebuking the devil and getting rid of demons, what is it? The primary battle is between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of God, between the spirit of the Antichrist who is already operating in this world and in the minds of the unbelievers, between the father of lies and the Spirit of truth; and we are in that battle whether we like it or not.“

one willing to die for an upright person, although it’s possible that someone may give up his life for one who is truly good. But think about this: while we were wasting our lives in sin, God revealed His powerful love to us in a tangible display— the Anointed One died for us.” (Romans 5: 6 – 8).

Because the evil god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers. As a result the light of the good news, the radiant glory of the Anointed—who is the very image of God—cannot shine down on them.” (2 Corinthians 4: 4), and the Holy Spirit whose main purpose is, “When He arrives, He will uncover the sins of the world, expose unbelief as sin, and allow all to see their sins in the light of righteousness for the first time.” (John 16: 8). The primary location of that battle is our minds. Either we believe the lies that keep us in bondage or we believe the truth that sets us free. So, we define spiritual warfare as the battle for the mind. Our abilities to think, feel, and make decisions (our minds, emotions, and wills) are intricately linked together. They interact in many ways. Yet it is safe to say everything begins with the mind. Our thoughts about anything in life are what determine how we feel and how we act. It often appears that emotions are the determining factor, but emotions are only as valid as the truth on which they are based.

“When the time was right, the Anointed One died for all of us who were far from God, powerless, and weak. Now it is rare to find some-

of life, whether those thoughts be true or false. Every action is just a product of our thoughts. “For as he thinks within himself, so he is” (Proverbs 23: 7). The will can only act on what the minds knows. Wrong information, lack of knowledge, or a faulty belief system can lead to undesirable and even destructive actions. Satan knows this, and this explains why deception is his primary tactic. Peter exhort us: “So get yourselves ready, prepare your minds to act, control yourselves, and look forward in hope as you focus on the grace that comes when Jesus the Anointed returns and is completely revealed to you.” (1 Peter 1: 13). He wants us to understand that if we can win the battle of the mind, we can win the battle against Satan as the deceiver. The battle for the mind is much more that the struggle to have correct information, however. It is a matter of having a functional faith that is based on truth. It is possible to know intellectually but never apply it to your life. As an example, we all could have a vast

The brain is an organism that the mind uses. To put it in computer terms, the brain is the hardware, and the mind is the software. One can have a perfectly functioning computer, but if the software

program has bugs in it, the results can be disastrous. In computer language, it is “garbage in, garbage out.” In the same way, the human brain can function only according to how it has been programmed. If we are not living responsible lives and bearing fruit, then we should take a good look at what we believe and how we think. Life comes down to the principle that if we believe right we will live right, but we need to understand that right belief is more than right knowledge.

knowledge of God’s Word, however if we are not putting into action, effort, and obedience the content of such eternal wisdom, all of that sublime knowledge loses its value.

WHAT IS PROPHECY? Prophesy is to speak forth, announced, or proclaim in secular Greek terms. In other words, prophecy is speaking, proclaiming, or announcing something under the influence of spiritual inspiration.1 Prophecy is edification, exhortation, and comfort. It is also foretelling. In 1 Corinthians 14:1-5, Apostle Paul explains that we should yearn for spiritual gifts, especially prophecy. He said to pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. In the Greek, the word “edification” or “oikodome” which is defined as confirmation or building. “Exhor-

tation” or paraklesis means “comfort, consolation, exhortation, entreaty, and comfort.” Paamuthia means “consolation.” Strongs Concordance defines the word, “Oracles,” as an utterance of God. All children of God can prophesy. The basic level of prophesying is quoting the scriptures to encourage other believers. To build a strong foundation in the prophetic, children of God need to study the word to show themselves approved. Just because you hear the voice of God, doesn’t make you a prophet. Not everyone is giving the gift of prophecy or called into the office of the prophet.

Individuals with the gifts of prophecy regularly experience revelation from the Lord. These revelations come in impressions, visions, dreams, words of knowledge, and other different forms.1 1 Corinthians 12:10-11 says, “To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another, different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. It is wholly and fully irrevocable.” Individual with the gift of prophecy must be matured, developed, and

grown in their gift.1

Their words surpasses the basis level of prophecy. They often give words of rebuke, revelation, and guidance.1 There are many false prophets in the world. You will know a false prophet by their fruit. Matthew 7:1520 says, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” In other words, prophets lead you away from God. They lack the integrity and the character of Jesus Christ. Remember, false prophets can prophesy accurately but they are operating under a different spirit

Only a true prophet can speak into your life and has the anointing attached to bring a change in your current circumstances. Counterfeits can see what’s in your future, but lack the power to bring forth change. Just because a prophet misses it in prophecy doesn’t make them false. It might be that they are ignorant, immature, presumptuous, or have too much zeal. Remember, God is working through an imperfect vessel. People are tougher on prophets compared to teachers or pastors. They make mistakes all the time and no one calls them false. Prophecy is a wonderful gift when it is used correctly. I don’t believe that someone should have to pay for a prophetic word. That is on the lines of fortune telling. However, I don’t believe that someone should go before a prophet empty handed. Your prosperity is connected to a prophet. 2 Chronicles 20:20 says, “ So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” There are so many hurting

people in the world and prophecy can help bring them healing. A prophet can bring you out of captivity. Sometimes in the dark seasons of life, a prophetic word is all you have to hold on to. You can reflect on the given prophecy and continue to believe in God. Eventually, the prophetic word will come to pass and God will get all the Honor, Glory, and the Praise. If you want to prophesy, ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Then step out in faith and speak what you hear and speak. Also take time daily to study the word because you want to make sure that what you are hearing is lining up with the word of God. Do you want more of the presence of God in your life? It starts with obedience. God wants to see if you will follow His word and obey it when the temptation comes. Will you pass the obedience test? Temptation is something that is pleasing to your flesh. For instance, if you are attracted to someone of the opposite sex and an opportunity for intimacy arises. Will you deny your flesh, remain pure, and follow the word of God? Or will you give into fornication or adultery and sin against God?

John 14:21 says, “Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” If you pass the obedience test, it proves your love for God and it shows your desire to please God over people. God promises in His word to manifest Himself to you, if you love Him. He will make Himself real to you in some way. Whether in a dream, vision, or just having encounters with His manifest presence. Once you pass the obedience test, God can trust

you. He can now bless you in many ways. Dear Heavenly Father, I exalt your name! You are worthy of all the Honor, Glory, and the praise! I repent for the times I was disobedient to your word. Are you worried about how things will come together for you? Maybe things just seem so gloomy and you see no light. If you have been faithful to God, hang in there because your suddenly is near. God will give you beauty for ashes. Continue to trust God during this process and believe Him. Hold on to the word that God has spoken over your life and watch God show up for you. I will have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; I know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness (2 Timothy 2:23-25). I will remind myself of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers (2 Timothy 2:14). I will avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness (2 Timothy 2:16). Lord, keep my passions from being at war within me (James 4:1). Lord, I have desires but do not have so I refuse to murder (James 4:2). Lord, sometimes I covet and cannot obtain so I refuse to fight and quarrel (James 4:2). I destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife (Proverbs 21:9).

I will not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of my mind, that by testing I may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2). A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1). I will not be puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. I will not have an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions (1 Timothy 6:4). I will let the word of Christ dwell in me richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in my heart to God (Colossians 3:16). I will welcome the one who is weak in faith, but will not quarrel over opinions (Romans 14:1). I will present my body as a living

sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is my spiritual worship (Romans 12:1). I will do all things without grumbling or questioning, that I may be blameless and innocent, a child of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom I shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain (Philippians 2:14-16). I will cast all my anxieties on you Lord because you care for me (1 Peter 5:7). I decree that I will not give what’s holy to dogs and not give my pearls to the swine (Matthew 7:6). I decree that I will live peaceable with all men. I will turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it (Psalm 34:14). I will walk in love and put on Jesus Christ, not making provision for the flesh to fulfil the lust thereof (Romans 13:14). Lord, lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil (Matthew 6:13). I will be sober-minded, being watchful because my adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). No temptation has overtaken me that is not common to man. God is faithful and he will not let me be tempted beyond my ability, but with temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that I may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). I will deny myself, take up my cross, and follow after Jesus Christ (Luke 9:23).

Diverticulosis is the abnormal presence of out pockets or pouches on the surface of the small intestines or colon1. These abnormal pockets form because of low fiber diets, constipations, and long term increased colonic pressure1. Subsequently, the increased colonic pressure results when fecal matter becomes trapped together with constipation and causes diverticula or small pouches on the colon1. The etiologic factors that contribute to diverticulosis are obesity, decrease physical activity, steroids, alcohol and caffeine intake, and cigarette smoking1. Diverticulitis is a complication of diverticulosis. This

is an acute inflammation of the diverticula from food such as corn or bacteria collecting inside of these paches1. Other complications include bleeding, abscess, obstruction, fistula, or perforation1. A few weeks ago, I was at home taking a shower. When I got out the shower, I slipped and fell. Immediately, pain shot throughout my body and I couldn’t get up. My husband was at home at the time and he helped me up and took me to the hospital. I was admitted to the hospital and they set me up to receive outpatient rehab. Well, with the rehab services, I was slowly getting better but I was still in a lot of pain. I couldn’t walk by myself and could only take small steps. One Saturday morning, I called Prophetess Kimberly Hargraves’ prayer line. When she prayed for me, the power of God came through my body and God healed me. I was able to get out the bed, take giant steps, and pick my legs up and down. The best part of all is that I have no more pain. We went inside the car for a few minutes to place the call before we went inside the doctor’s office for his bone scan. When she prayed for him, he felt hot all over and felt heat on his knee. After prayer, we went back inside the doctor’s office to get the bone scan. After several days, the doctor called us into the office. He was scratching his head because he said he had misdiagnosed my son. He said he wasn’t sure that it was cancer looking at the bone scans. I am so thankful that God healed my son.
