There is income and expenditure to be balanced, outgoings to pay, assets to maintain and client/customer relationships to be managed. Renter selection, rental collection, property inspections and dealing with rental lease breaches, are all processes which, in the hands of the inexperienced, can prove to be expensive both in terms of time and money for property owners. All Barry Plant Property Managers are fully qualified with comprehensive knowledge relating to tenancy legislation, specifically the Residential Tenancies Act.

It is our priority to ensure that your property is well maintained and that rental payments are received in a prompt and regular manner. We can communicate with you as often or as little as you would like and aim to make investment ownership as easy as possible. Our Property Managers will work with you to minimise risks to you, your investment property and to the renter. There are mandatory “Minimum Standards” and “Essential Servicing” requirements in place that all Residential Rental Providers must adhere to, these are designed to protect both you and your Renter. Under the Residential Tenancies Act, residential properties in Victoria must meet these prescribed standards We provide all of our Residential Rental Providers with a comprehensive guide that covers Rental Minimum Standards and Safety Related Activities. It’s important to understand your obligations and our Property Managers will assist you to understand and comply with all requirements. If we identify anything in your property that may make your property non compliant, we can refer you to experienced and suitably qualified tradespeople who understand the legislative requirements. If you are unsure whether your property meets all standards, we can also arrange comprehensive Minimum Standards inspections on your behalf M
