A photograph will often be the first impression a potential buyer will have of your house, and it can influence their decision to view it. · Inspections are critical. The quality of the photograph can drive or hinder the traffic through open or appointed inspections. · If you are on a tight budget, consider what lower level packages your photographer may be able to offer you. On the scheduled day for photos to be taken try the following: · De-clutter the house, including removing large and bulky furniture. · Switch on lights and lamps inside the house to add warmth. · If possible take photos in good weather and light – bright blue skies and sunshine. Today’s homebuyers want to see more than just the front of the house. They also want to get a clear look at the living room, kitchen, dining room, family room, master bedroom, bathrooms and the backyard. Including your residence’s best features, such as a home theatre or swimming pool is also expected. 15 or more shots is not uncommon for a property listing. Always remember it pays to know your strengths and weaknesses. Real estate agents know how to negotiate a property sale. Real estate photographers know how to take photographs that sell.
