Brodie focuses on representing landscapes within different climates, playing on how we may come to perceive the world through a different lens because of the developments made during the digital age.
With 47 inspiring young students chosen for the display, there are works in a variety of mediums from painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography to video and sound. Providing an insight into the creative minds of Victoria’s youth and the ideas, concerns, issues and creative practices of our younger generations, the showcase features a selection of folios and developmental material as well as final works. Each year thousands of students submit their works for selection, from this the entries are cut down to a shortlist of artists and finally to the 47 students who will be recognised for their exceptional work. Featured on the cover of the magazine is the work of Olivia Fagan from Sacre Coeur. The piece titled Folds into eternity features screenprint, synthetic polymer
