NEWS WINTER 2022

CELEBRATING OVER 3O YEARS OF SERVICE IN THE NORTH EASTERN SUBURBS The outlook for buying, selling and investing in 2022

Market Report Welcome to Winter 2022! After 11 years, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has recently announced an increase with the official cash rate by 25 basis points to 0.35 per cent in response to increasing inflation pressures. With this newly announced interest rate increase, the property market has slowed down slightly with property price growth dropping by 0.1 percent from last month. Some predicted in 2020 that there will be a 30 percent property price reduction, however this was not the case and the market proved itself to be resilient and stronger. Economist Cameron Kusher mentions that the market at this point continues to favour sellers compared to buyers, however we are swinging back towards a more balanced market as stock levels have increased.

WELCOME TO THE WINTER EDITION OF THE MORRISON KLEEMAN PROPERTY REPORT.

The key drivers of demand still remain strong, with unemployment levels reaching historic lows and international migration returning.

ou would be forgiven if you thought peanut butter, red velvet and bone broth gummies were made for human consumption. If it wasn’t for waggytail ‘Norman’ sitting front and center on the fun and bold packaging, you may be tempted to dig in yourself. Providing a range of canine superfoods that are packed full of essential vitamins and minerals, and made in Australia from 100% human grade ingredients with absolutely no nasties, Raw Pawz is bringing the health and wellness movement to our four-legged friends. Founders and local sisters Michele (Mish) and Alana Scarce are super passionate about all thing’s health, wellness, and clean eating. Having grown up in the leafy suburbs of Nillumbik, they have their mum to thank for instilling the “importance of home-grown food, cooking from scratch and nothing going to waste” and the effect this has on health, wellness and living your best life. After meeting this delightful duo who are as fun and bold as their product’s packaging, you are left with a definite case of ‘I want what she’s having’.

Knowing the incredible benefits that fresh food and gut health have on our mind and body, the duo looked to adopt the same healthy eating habits and gut health principles with their ever-so-important four-legged family members. “When we began researching, we couldn’t believe the correlation between humans and pets.” Pets following a fresh food diet with a rotation of supporting supplements to ensure the right dose of vitamins and minerals, yields the same benefits as it does for humans; it improves brain energy and mental function, aids overall digestion, improves skin and the shine on coats (hair in the human case), acts as an antiinflammatory, builds strong bones, improves immunity and ultimately increases the quality of overall gut health and wellbeing. Which in dog terms also equates to fewer visits to the vet and “making pooches happy, their owners happy and living a longer and happier life.” With this discovery came the fun of creating formulas with the perfect blend of ingredients that were not only nutritious but so delicious that even the fussiest of pooches would devour. Setting up a full home laboratory in Alana’s hallway closet full of herbs, powders and petri dishes, the pair

created and tested thousands of formulas. Mish’s daughter Adele was assigned as head gummy maker, Alana’s fun loving Groodle Lenny acting as ‘sensory evaluator’ as well as the local dog parks providing the perfect spot for market research. Fast forward 12 months, and the range is made up of the highest quality ingredients that have been sustainably and ethically sourced from all over the world. A nutrition label is included on every pack so you know exactly what’s inside. Offering 4 different gummies, 3 sprinkles, 3 organ powders and the cutest silicon molds, the range is designed for both fresh feeders and kibble fed pooches. “The sprinkles are the perfect option for those who are time poor, and the making of the DIY gummies are a fun activity for the whole family.” Available from major online pet retailers including Petmarket and Habitat, and in store at your local PETstock. Raw Pawz is changing and extending the lives of our precious pooches one gummy, sprinkle and organ powder at a time.
