In the graphic above we can observe that in Torremolinos in the first quarter of 2013 (January, February and March) the number of housing transac ons of second hand homes has meant 97% of all the Homes sold. This means that only 3% of the homes that were sold in this period were new. There are two main reasons. The first is the increase in VAT from 4% to 10% since January 1st. The second reason is that in Torremolinos is ge6ng low the new housing. It is possible that within 18 months to 24 months begin to see the construc on of new promo ons.
