THE RIDGWAY HISTORIC DISTRICT The Ridgway Historic District is a designated Preservation District and downtown neighborhood of Santa Rosa. The district's boundaries include destinations such as Santa Rosa High School, Santa Rosa Junior College, the Junior College Neighborhood, and Ridgway Swim Center.

The geographic area of the Ridgway Historic District incorporates the Ridgway Historic Neighborhood Association (RHNA). The RHNA is an association of neighbors governed by established bylaws and elected board of directors that hold quarterly public meetings and annual activities. The purpose of RHNA is to provide information and organize activities to benefit the neighborhood. Working together by consensus as a forum to address community needs, concerns, and interests it has been very active within public and city forums. Facilitated activities have included neighborhood wide annual garage sales, annual block parties, historic home and garden tours, holiday parties, organized interaction with the City regarding public health, policing, planning, zoning, and the Cultural Heritage Board that oversees design issues within the preservation district.
