General Information

Ferry Booking Service

All campsites have their own rules, which the customers are asked to observe. You can obtain details of these at the campsite reception upon request. In low season some facilities might not be available or may be limited because of maintenance work or, in case of swimming pools, because of the weather. We kindly ask you to understand that these situations cannot be attributed neither to Happy Camp nor to the campsite.

Unfortunately pets and animals are not allowed in any Happy Camp and Aqua Camp accommodation.

Customers are asked to leave the accommodation clean. A deduction of € 30 for a final clean will be taken from your deposit if your accommodation is not clean when you leave. Happy Camp staff are not normally able to offer a final cleaning service.

Camping involves living in a natural environment and it is therefore possible that you will come across one or two of God’s small creatures. Please beware of leaving food uncovered inside and outside the accommodation.

All Happy Camp campsites provide entertainment in high season (July and August) with sports activities, mini clubs, evening shows, and entertainment for both adults and children. In low season some campsites provide a reduced entertainment program. In some campsites the entertainment activities might be available at an extra cost.

In many of our campsites customers are required to pay a daily tourist tax per person, which need to be paid directly at the campsite reception.

We can arrange great deals on ferries to Sardinia. Call our booking office for more information.

Happy Camp Accommodations: Happy Lux

This is our largest model (32 m2) and are all fitted with air-conditioning. The Happy Lux offers you a more comfortable and luxurious holiday and are situated in 4 of our most popular campsites: Camping Bella Italia, Camping Marina di Venezia, Camping Village Park Albatros, Camping Terme Čatež. This model has a larger living area and an extra bedroom and a larger bathroom. The interior are organized as follow: • living area and kitchen with a fridge freezer and a hob with 4 burners • master bedroom with double bed (190x140cm) • 2 twin bedrooms (190x70cm) • a bathroom with shower, sink and socket for electric razor • a separate toilet with a small sink. All the mobile homes have electric sockets in each room and all the bedrooms have mosquito nets on the windows. There is also garden furniture which includes a table with chairs, 2 sunbeds/ recliners and a barbeque (whether allowed by the campsite) On Camping Marina di Venezia and Terme Catez our Happy Lux mobile homes are provided with a wooden terrace and on Camping Bella Italia and Park Albatros with a covered wooden terrace. The parasol outside the Mobile Home won't be supplied in case the accommodation is already equipped with covered terrace, awning or gazebo. All Happy Camp accommodations are non-smoking.

The newest range of Happy Camp mobile homes is the Happy Comfort. This type of accommodation has a light and airy feel with a modern design and can accommodate up to 6 adults. Inside these new mobile homes you will find a well fitted kitchen providing plenty of cupboard space, a fridge with a small chiller compartment, hob with 4 burners, sink with plate rack, a large living area with a double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet (in some of the mobile homes the toilet is in a separated room). Outside you will find the traditional layout with garden furniture: table with chairs, two sunbeds, barbeque (whether allowed by the campsite); for each campsite we specify which mobile homes are available together with information regarding terraces, gazebos or parasols. The Happy Standard is a light and spacious mobile home with a modern and welcoming layout which makes you feel at home. This model has a double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds and a smaller drop-down bed only suitable for children ( maximum 150 cm and 60kg) . The seating area can be used as an additional sleeping area for 1 person. The kitchen has a fridge with a small chiller compartment, a hob with 4 burners, electric sockets and tableware for 6 people. The bathroom has a shower, a sink and a toilet. All the bedroom windows have mosquito nets. In the outside area there is the garden furniture: table, chairs, parasol, two sunbeds and a barbeque (whether allowed by the campsite). For each campsite we specify which mobile homes are available together with information regarding terraces, gazebos or parasols. This is one of the first models adopted by Happy Camp. It offers all the necessary for hosting up to 6 adults. Camp in comfort in natural surroundings, and while the kids find no-end of fun and entertainment , you can just sit back and relax under starry skies, letting Happy Camp take care of the rest! Our traditional tent offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people (about 25m2). It has two sleeping area: one double (bed size 195x134 cm) and one triple (beds size 195x68 cm). A sixth bed can be requested when booking and is normally placed in the living area. There is a kitchen area with a 3 burner cooker, a fridge with chiller compartment and tableware for 6 people. The campsite: Bella Italia is the largest campsite on Lake Garda. It offers a wide range

of facilities to satisfy every need. Especially the large water park and the activities and shows organized by the animation team make this site particularly enjoyable for guests seeking an active and entertaining holiday. Position: on the southern shores of Lake Garda, approximately 1 km away from Peschiera del Garda. Gardaland Park is 7 km away (free bus in high season). Verona (about 30 km), Mantua (about 55 km), Milan (about 140 km) and Venice (about 145 km) are reachable with public transport. At the reception it is possible to buy tickets (with bus transfer) to see the Opera in the Arena. Beach: a free, pebbly beach, with direct access from the campsite. Swimming pool: water park consisting of five swimming pools with slides and water features. There are three other pools for both adults and children. All pools are equipped with parasols and sun loungers (subject to availability). Pools open from the beginning of April to mid-September. Swimming caps compulsory in the semi-Olympic swimming pool. The village is made of 182 apartments, and has been built following the natural morphology of the morainic hills, around a luscious garden and three great lagoon pools.

For all summer sports lovers the beach volleyball field and the swimming pool (120 cm deep, 50 m long) are located just around the corner, close to the mini market.

On the outer perimeter of the park a road grants easy access and car parking close to each apartment.

The kids area is located in the garden around the baby lagoon pool (480 sqm, maximum depth 70 cm).

In the heart of the village, in a low building with green roof, a mini market and a restaurant-pizzeria are at our guests disposal. The restaurant’s terrace faces the main pool, allowing parents to relax while their kids play safely just a few meters away in the big lagoon pool (1400 sqm) or on the close-by sandy beach.

The Campsite: Is located only 300 meters from the main entrance of the thermal spa of

Hèviz thermal lake. This is the largest biologically active lake in the world and is surrounded by over 50 hectares of nature conservation area. Lake Balaton is 7 km away from the campsite. The perfect choice of holiday for those looking to experience nature, surrounded by trees and a canal covered with white and purple water lilies, which crosses the campsite and a romantic bridge where you can admire many different species of fish. Position: Hèviz and its thermal lake are located in the west of Hungary close to the Austrian border. The city of Keszthely with its many museums and attractions is 5km away. The town of Sarmellek and the airport are 10km away (there are flights during the whole of the year). The beautiful beaches of Lake Balaton are only 7km away and local vineyards can be found within 10 km.

The thermal spa of Hèviz and its treatments and wellness:

The thermal lake and spa are 300m from the campsite. It is possible to buy different tickets for its wide range of services these include a complete check-up and more personalised treatments. You can find physiotherapy with mud pack, underwater massage, hydro pool, mineral water treatments, magnetic field therapy, rehabilitation and a range of different massages. You can also relax in the new wellness centre offering sauna, swimming pools and massage facilities. The thermal water can reach temperatures of 22/24° C in winter and 35/36° in the summer and is therefore only suitable for people over 13 years old. For

younger people there is a swimming pool in the summer with waterfalls and slides. The lake is deep so life-jackets are suggested. In this area there are also many renowned dental clinics. For families with little children we suggest the Kehidakustány Thermal Spa ,10 away from the campsite, where they will find thermal pools, adventure pools, pool with a large slide, special pools for babies and playground. Beach: for beach lovers, Lake Balaton is only 7km away. The beach is large and grassy. It is free with an area where parasols and sunbeds can be rented and there is also a beach bar and playground. Sporting activities: nearby you can find bike hire, tennis court, horse riding and golf. At Lake Balaton are soccer, beach volleyball and table tennis. At an extra cost at Lake Balaton you can find 5-a-side football, beach volley,table tennis, pedal boats, boats, windsurfing, sailing and fishing. Bars and Restaurants: the campsite offers a bar and restaurant. Nearby are bars, restaurants, pizzerias and an ice cream parlour. Shops: minimarket; there is a supermarket only 600 metres from the campsite and in the nearby you can find a bakery, greengrocers, butchers, newsagent, pharmacy, tobacconist, clothes and shoes shops, souvenir shops, sports store, bazaar and jewellers. The campsite: This small, family owned campsite is the perfect place to enjoy a

peaceful holiday surrounded by outstanding natural beauty and yet is only 200 meters from the main entrance of the Bukfurdo thermal spa. Position: The town of Bukfurdo is located in the west of Hungary next to the Austrian border. Koszeg with its typical houses and its medieval centre is only 20 km away. Szombathely is 30 km and boasts a historical museum full of memories of this area. Sarvar and the botanical gardens, opened by the Habsburgs in 1812, and the Nadasdy Castle Museum are 25 km away. The Thermal Spa of Bükfurdo: The thermal and wellness spa of Bukfurdo sits in the ground of 14 hectares and with 32 swimming pools is one of the largest thermal spas in Hungary. The present contract is regulated by the provisions stated in the Legislative Decree n. 206 dated September 6, 2005 and in further related modifications and integrations, by the Directive 90/314/EU, by the related international conventions, in particular by the Brussels Convention dated April 23, 1970 made executive by law n. 1084 dated December 27, 1977 and by the related provisions regulated by civil law and by the norms of internal law, when they are not expressively annulled by the present contract. The responsibility of Happy Camp Family Holidays, in its capacity as trip organizer, towards its travellers and their personal property is regulated by the laws and international conventions cited above. The responsibility of Happy Camp Family Holidays cannot exceed the limits set by the laws and conventions already mentioned.

Addendum – General Conditions of sales contract single tourist services

the contracts by which regarding services of only housing, or transportation or other, cannot be configured as organization of a trip or tourist package, are regulated by the following CCV dispositions art.1, n. 3 and n. 6, art. from 17 to 23, art. from 24 to 31 and is therefore understood as referring to the corresponding figures regarding sales of the single tourist services.

Contractual Conditions

To those contracts relate the following clauses of the Legislative Decree n. 206 of September 6th 2005, art 83, 85, 86, 87, 88, 94, 96 and further related modifications and integrations are applied. Application of said clauses does in no way determine the configuration of the contracts such as tourist packages. The terminology of the cited clauses relative to the tourist package contract (trip organization etc) is therefore understood as referring to the corresponding figures regarding sales of the single tourist services.

Particular needs of the traveller

The traveller shall be held responsible for communicating, in writing, his eventual particular special needs and requests at the time of reservation. Happy Camp Family Holidays reserves the right to accept them, in writing, post reception of the acceptance by the purveyor who will be providing the service. The organizers must provide in writing to the agency, which in time will communicate this to the traveller, the feasibility and eventual added costs that these particular requests will entail.

Organization and to the tourist structure where he or she is lodged within and no longer than 10 working days after departure from the respective holiday destination. Any breech of contract must be contested by the consumer without delay, enabling the organizer or a company representative to remedy the situation in loco.

Reimbursement services

Any request for an eventual reimbursement for non-compliance of service must be communicated to Happy Camp Family Holidays within 10 working days after return from holiday, or the request will be rendered invalid. The legal forum used for each discussion shall be that in which the organizing agency resides.

Responsibility

The responsibility of Happy Camp Family Holidays towards the traveller and their belongings is regulated by the law and international conventions concerning the responsibility of travel organizers and the services of “all inclusive” trip, in effect at the time of occurrence of the facts concerning responsibility (in particular art. 94,95,96 D.L. 206 dated 06/09/05 and further related modifications and integrations). The responsibility of Happy Camp Family Holidays can in no way exceed the limits of said law and international conventions.

Trip Cancellation and Amendment

Happy Camp Family Holidays as stated by the art. 10 of the law 1084 dated 27.12.77 and of the UC directive 90/314 can, without incurring in charges, annul totally or partially the contract, without any obligation other than the restitution of the amounts received. In case of annulment of the contract prior to initiation Happy Camp Family Holidays must reimburse fully any payment received from the Traveller. In case of cancellation of a contract Happy Camp Family Holidays must take all the necessary measures in the interest of the traveller; each party is obliged to reimburse one another in an equal manner. The prices can be adjusted at any moment as a consequence of variation of carrier rates and costs of the tourist services. In cases in which the increase exceeds 10% the client has the right to cancel the trip, communicating his decision in writing, within 24 hours of receiving notification of the increase. HAPPY CAMP FAMILY HOLIDAYS responds only to that which is expressly indicated in this brochure (any eventual variations to said brochure or “brochure errata” shall be communicated by HAPPY CAMP FAMILY HOLIDAYS at the moment of booking).

Security funds

The organizer is legally bound to lend the necessary assistance to the consumer, assistance imposed by the professional diligence exclusively as it refers to the obligations pertinent to the job description and as stated by the law or the working contract. The organizer is not responsible to the consumer for the non-compliance of obligations held by the individual sellers.

As stated in the art. 100 D.L. 206 of 06/09/05 and in further related modifications and integrations which announces the formation of a security fund provided by the Prime Ministry. All passengers, in case of insolvency or bankruptcy of the Tour operator, can request reimbursement of the amounts already paid and/or the return home in case of trips in foreign countries. The modality of operation of such fund has been established in a decree issued by the Prime Minister in accordance with the Minister of Finance and of the Treasury.

Licence

Obligation of assistance

The booking is deemed finalized upon receipt of official written confirmation from Happy Camp Family Holidays. Such confirmation is conditioned by receipt of the inscription fees of no more than 25 % of the participation fee, to be paid either at the moment of booking or upon receipt of the booking confirmation. The remainder fees should be received on or before the 30th day prior to departure. Non-compliance with these terms gives Happy Camp Family Holidays the right to consider the traveller as having cancelled the trip.

Cancellations

Cancellation of the trip gives the right to a refund consisting of the amount versed, minus the indicated penalties, for the inscription and the costs of cancellations services I.T. and individual reservations, which are: from 59 to 30 days prior to departure 10% of the inscription; from 29 to 15 days from departure 25% of the inscription fee; from 14 to 9 days from departure 50%; from 8 to 4 days from departure 75% of the fee; less than 4 days from departure no reimbursement is possible. Any traveller who decides to interrupt a trip, already started, will not be eligible for a refund.

Polizza Cattolica di Assicurazione n. 113.321.1758 Obligatory communication as stated by the art. 17 of the law “6 February 2006 n. 38”: Italian law punishes, with imprisonment, all crimes connected to prostitution and/or child-related pornography, including those offences committed outside its borders. Communication to the Administration of the Province of Verona, Tourist office, taken place on 19th September 2013.
