Pelo contrário, aumenta com os anos à proporção que os homens educam-se para reconhecê-lo.

O valor artístico subsiste até nas ruínas.

Os anos correm e desgastam o material, enquanto valorizam o espiritual.”

p r e fá c i o / p r e fa c e Continuidade....Quando a vida vale a pena!

Foi com muito orgulho e emoção, que recebemos de Adriano e Daniele o convite para escrevermos este prefácio. Podemos dizer que o maior sonho e prazer para nós, como para todos os pais, sem dúvida, é ver os filhos formados, independentes e atuantes em suas profissões. Mais gratificante ainda é ter uma família em que as gerações se continuam profissionalmente, somando à cultura e à experiência dos antecessores novos conhecimentos, agregando valor extra ao exercício da arquitetura e design de interiores.

Na adolescência, Adriano sonhava em ser engenheiro naval. Quando desenhava navios e barcos, percebíamos seu traço definido e marcante. Porém, um belo dia, voltando do colégio, nos anunciou sua decisão pela arquitetura. Na verdade, tudo já estava dentro do contexto. Sua aptidão vinha sendo anunciada desde a infância.

Ingressou na PUC, onde conheceu a Daniele!

Como profissionais atuantes e também pais de Adriano fizemos tudo ao mesmo tempo em nossas vidas. Casamos jovens, completamos nossos estudos e definimos nossa carreira. Sempre com muito trabalho e dedicação, sem deixar de viver o dia a dia intensamente. Neste cenário dinâmico, tivemos e educamos nossos quatro filhos. E na época o orçamento era bem apertado... Ufa! Mesmo assim, sempre fizemos questão de viajar todas as férias para algum canto do país, pois somente mais tarde nossas viagens se tornaram internacionais. Mas isso não importava, afinal em qualquer lugar que estivéssemos, explorávamos ao máximo a cultura, a arte, a música e a gastronomia locais. Por onde passávamos, com nosso “pequeno bando a pé”, observávamos, discutíamos e fotografávamos a arquitetura local, na maioria das vezes registrando o modo de viver, morar e trabalhar das pessoas. Bons tempos aqueles!

Aí, a historia começou a se repetir....E como nós, eles também fizeram tudo ao mesmo tempo...e enquanto namoravam e estudavam...casaram, tiveram filhos...e se formaram.

O Adriano recém-formado foi trabalhar conosco atuando na área corporativa e também industrial. Com os filhos ainda pequenos, assim como ele, Daniele também se desdobrava trabalhando e desenvolvendo projetos residenciais. Os anos passaram. Juntos eles trabalharam, batalharam e cresceram junto com o desenvolvimento dos filhos.

Hoje, atuam com espetacular sucesso em vários segmentos, como revelam algumas obras deste livro. Seus projetos têm personalidade marcante, com traços atemporais e senso estético apurados. Adriano e Daniele sabem identificar as necessidades de cada cliente, respeitando seu estilo, a partir de soluções personalizadas. Exercem arquitetura com projetos que se destacam pelas características estéticas, funcionais e sustentáveis.

Profissionais empenhados que são na realização de sonhos, ganham os clientes como amigos, após a execução de seus projetos.

Talvez, estas experiências e conhecimentos adquiridos em viagens e o contato direto com nosso trabalho, involuntariamente, tenha proporcionado um ambiente fértil para o desenvolvimento do potencial criativo de nossos quatro filhos: dois arquitetos, uma artista plástica e uma estilista, todos atuantes em suas profissões. É gratificante saber que a paixão pelo exercício da arquitetura tenha sido tão bem vista por eles. Apesar de todo o estímulo, lembramos também que proporcionamos total liberdade para que todos fizessem suas próprias escolhas.

Muitas vezes os levávamos em visitas de pré-entrega de obras para mostrar um pouco do trabalho sendo finalizado.

O Adriano, aos oito anos, sempre foi muito ativo, curioso e divertido. Queria a todo custo ajudar nossa equipe na etapa de finalização, seja desembalando os pés de cadeiras do staff ou organizando acessórios nas salas de diretoria e presidência dos projetos corporativos. Já demonstrava espírito colaborador e criativo quando desenhava objetos e soluções inusitadas . Uma das criações futuristas mais engraçadas, foi um vaso sanitário equipado com som, ducha e sis-

Dedicados na profissão e no convívio familiar. Acompanham de perto o desenvolvimento de Victória, Matheus e Lucas, conduzindo-os em suas escolhas sempre com muito amor e compreensão.

Continuity... When life is worthwhile!

We were filled with pride and emotion when we Adriano and Daniele invited us to write this foreword. We can say that for us as well as for most parents the greatest dream and pleasure is no doubt seeing our children graduated, independent and active in their professions. It is even more rewarding to have a family through which generations are continued professionally, adding new knowledge to the culture and experience of the new predecessors, adding value to the exercise of architecture and interior design.

In our capacity as both active professionals and Adriano’s parents we did everything at the same time in our lives. We married young, concluded our studies and defined our career, always with a lot of work and dedication, while living intensely our moments. Against this dynamic backdrop, we had and raised our four children. And at that time we lived on a tight budget... Whew! But even so, we always insisted on traveling on vacation to some place in this country, as we would only be able to travel abroad later on. But that did not matter, after all in whatever place we found ourselves, we exploited the local culture, art, music and culinary to the full. Wherever we went with our “small troop on foot”, we observed, discussed and photographed local architecture, mostly recording the way of living, dwelling and working of local people. Good old times!

Maybe the experience and knowledge we acquired during our trips, plus the direct contact with our work, inadvertently have provided fertile grounds for developing the creative potential of our four children: two architects, a visual artist and a stylist, all of them active in their professions. It is gratifying to know that they welcomed so warmly our passionate exercise of architecture. In spite of all encouragement, we should also point out that they were completely free to make their own choices.

We often took them along in our predelivery visits to show them some of the work that was being concluded. At the age of eight, Adriano was always very active, curious and great fun. He wanted to help our team at the conclusion stage at all costs, whether by unpacking our staff chair legs or sorting accessories in the directors’ and president’s rooms of corporate projects. At that time, he already revealed his cooperating and creative spirit when drawing unusual objects and solutions. One of his funniest futuristic creations was a toilet equipped with audio, a shower nozzle and an efficient system for laboratory testing and pathological reports, quite similar to a model that was patented by the Japanese a few years ago.

As a teenager, Adriano dreamed of being a naval engineer. The ships and boats he drew revealed his well defined and outstanding strokes. However, one fine day, he announced his decision to take up architecture. In fact, everything was within the context. His aptitude had been announced since his childhood. He enrolled at PUC, where he met Daniele! From then on, the story began to repeat itself... As just as we had done, they also did everything at the same time... they studied while dating, got married, had children and graduated from university.

As a recent graduate, Adriano came to work with us focusing on the corporate and industrial areas. Having young children and just as Adriano, Daniele also strived at work developing residential projects. The years went by; they worked, struggled and grew together as they raised their children.

Currently, they succeeded in a number of segments, as shown in some of their work in this book. Their projects have an outstanding personality with atemporal traits and accurate aesthetical sense.

Adriano and Daniele are skilled at identifying the needs of each client, respecting their style, through customized solutions. They exercise architecture through projects that stand out for their aesthetical, functional and sustainable characteristics.

As they are committed to make dreams come true, they turn clients into friends after their projects have been concluded.

Being dedicated to their profession and family life, they monitor closely Victória, Matheus and Lucas’ development, providing guidance -- always based on love and understanding -- on their choices.

Adriano and Daniele, for your rich work performed, we wish that you may always continue striving for improvement, as wisdom lies at the heart of consistent learning, with humility and determination to be able to overcome your own limits, setting an example for generations to come, providing them in the future as it is provided to us now, with the pleasure of the certainty that “life has been worthwhile!”

DEPOIMENTO / TESTIMON Y

Daniele e Adriano, vida e profissão Tive o prazer de receber o casal em minha casa numa tarde de verão. Foram poucas trocas de ideias, mas o suficiente para admirar os pensamentos, criatividade e elegância de ambos. Em seu trabalho, tanto a arquitetura quanto o design de interiores refletem a personalidade dos clientes. Sem dúvida, admiráveis!

Como arquiteta confesso que fico fascinada com a capacidade de Daniele e Adriano assumirem variadas tipologias de obras, desde residenciais, a corporativas ou comerciais, sem contar a participação em grandes mostras de decoração. Realmente, é preciso estar preparado para tantos desafios.

Comecei a entender tal capacidade e cultura dos arquitetos após ter lido um texto dos pais de Adriano. Fiquei emocionada, pois revivi minha infância e juventude. Por sinal, uma grande semelhança com eles. Meu pai, arquiteto e construtor, formado na Polônia e Áustria, pensava como o senhor Marco e a senhora Volmar. Fez questão de me mostrar todas as partes do mundo durante minha faculdade de arquitetura em Cornell. Além de diferentes culturas, pude aprender mais de três línguas, aliás, tão importantes à minha carreira.

Entendo que os projetos do casal refletem parte deste conhecimento adquirido em viagens pelo mundo. Mas, no meu caso, ao contrário de Adriano, apesar de tanto esforço, faltava aptidão ou talvez talento na área de arquitetura. Mas nem tudo ficou perdido.

Arquiteta de formação e jornalista de profissão, passei a dirigir grandes revistas do setor de arquitetura e decoração. O melhor de tudo isso é que durante todos estes anos tive a oportunidade de conhecer e avaliar o trabalho de grandes profissionais. Por isso aqui estou dedicando minha homenagem.

Daniele and Adriano , life and profession I had the pleasure of welcoming the couple at my house on a summer afternoon . There were few exchanges of ideas , but enough to admire the thoughts , creativity and elegance of both. In their work , both the architecture and interior design reflect the personality of the clients. Undoubtedly admirable!

As an architect I confess that I am fascinated with the ability to take Adriano Daniele and varied types of work, from residential to corporate or commercial , without telling participation in major exhibitions decoration . Indeed, one must be prepared for many challenges .

I began to understand this capability and culture of architects after reading a text the parents of Hadrian. I was thrilled because I relived my childhood and youth . By the way , a great similarity with them . My father , architect and builder , formed in Poland and Austria , I thought as Mr. Marco and Mrs. Volmar . Was keen to show me all over the world during my college of architecture at Cornell .

Apart from different cultures could learn three languages ​​, in fact , so important to my career.

I understand that the designs reflect family of this acquired knowledge on world tours . But in my case , unlike Adriano , despite much effort , or perhaps lacked fitness talent in architecture . But not all was lost. Architect training and a journalist by profession , I started driving large magazines of architecture and decoration. Best of all is that all these years I had the opportunity to meet and evaluate the work of great professionals . So here I am dedicating my honor .

“At each edition of the exhibit they participated, I could notice unprecedented items, in addition to using differentiated colors, that attracted my attention. Until I ended up looking for them to handle the interior design project for my house. I felt immediate empathy for them, as I had posed two basic issues: first, they would have to preserve a few references of my father’s old settings in that new home; second, I wanted to have a “funny” house. Vender sonhos, ideias e resultados; este é o trabalho dos arquitetos Daniele Guardini e Adriano Stancati revelado nas obras exibidas neste livro que chega para celebrar os 15 anos de profissão e parceria iniciada no curso de arquitetura e urbanismo da Pontifícia Universidade de Católica – Campinas (PUC).

Para cada um dos profissionais, a vontade de ingressar no universo da arquitetura, surgiu de maneira diferente. Ainda criança, Dani pensava cursar veterinária ou oceanografia, talvez pela influência dos pais, muito ligados aos animais e à natureza.

No entanto, descobriu sua verdadeira aptidão na adolescência. Apaixonada por desenho e pintura durante o ensino médio, decidiu ingressar em um curso de decoração. A identificação foi imediata.

De lá pra cá não teve mais dúvidas que a criação seria seu caminho.

Para Adriano, as certezas vieram antes. Filho de um engenheiro civil e uma designer de interiores, desde muito cedo o arquiteto acompanhou o trabalho dos pais no escritório. Além da rotina diária, visitas a inúmeros museus e monumentos arquitetônicos sempre fizeram parte do cotidiano da família. Por isso, a arquitetura sempre esteve entre as suas predileções.

Apesar da sorte como aliada, o talento certamente foi um dos maiores atributos do casal, pais de três filhos: Lucas, Matheus e Victória, com 11, 15 e 21 anos, respectivamente. Hoje parece simples conciliar trabalho e família, mas nem sempre foi

assim. No início da faculdade Adriano e Daniele eram apenas bons amigos e companheiros de classe. A partir do segundo ano, descobriram algumas afinidades, deram início ao namoro, e passaram a comercializar maquetes volumétricas para os estudantes do 5º ano– uma habilidade de ambos. Mais tarde, no último ano do curso, veio o casamento.

No início, para poder acompanhar o crescimento das crianças sem abrir mão da profissão, a arquiteta optou por trabalhar em home-office, enquanto Adriano, assumiu o cargo de arquiteto no escritório Stancati Arquitetura, em São Paulo.

A cada trabalho um novo desafio, pois preferem não seguir um estilo predefinido, mas sim aquele que mais se adequar ao perfil do cliente atendido. Por isso, a cada projeto buscam utilizar novas tecnologias e soluções construtivas diferenciadas, que atendam a questões funcionais, ergonômicas, de segurança, de conforto e de estética.

O mesmo pode ser dito em relação às “tendências”. No entendimento do casal, o que ocorre é a evolução natural do ser humano, do seu modo de ser e viver. Logo, as construções são apenas um reflexo das necessidades.

Mas, à medida que os anos se passaram o número de projetos tomou proporções maiores, tornando cada vez mais difícil a carreira solo de Daniele, que já mantinha um pequeno escritório em Sousas, subdistrito de Campinas. Confiantes, os arquitetos decidiram que era chegado o momento de investir em um espaço maior. Adriano deixou o cargo de diretor de projetos na Stancati Arquitetura e junto de Daniele fundou a Guardini Stancati Arquitetura + Design, no Cambuí, local onde eles se mantêm até hoje.

Ao falarem sobre sustentabilidade, preferem tratar o conceito como inerente a todas as criações. Seja o aproveitamento de iluminação natural, o uso de ventilação cruzada, de captação de água de chuva ou utilização de materiais renováveis. De acordo com Daniele e Adriano, tais quesitos simplesmente fazem parte da “boa arquitetura”.

Dinâmicos na vida e na profissão, atualmente reúnem em seu portfólio projetos de arquitetura e design de interiores personalizados em segmentos diversificados, como residenciais, comerciais, corporativos e industriais. Para eles, quando um projeto é bem embasado, não há limites para criar.

Pode-se ver um pouco de ambos em todos os projetos: ela é detalhista e funcional; enquanto ele é tecnológico e ousado.

Apesar das dificuldades ao longo da carreira e vida conjugal, somadas às obrigações diárias da empresa durante esses anos de união, a paixão pela arquitetura e a dedicação a cada nova obra levaram ao prestígio e ao reconhecimento nacional desses profissionais, que atualmente se preparam para a abertura de nova sede e filiais em Nova York e Miami.

couple who had three children: Lucas, who is now 11, Matheus 15 and Victória 21. Nowadays it seems easy to balance work with family, but it has not always been like that. In the beginning of their college life, Adriano and Daniele were only good friends and classmates. As from their sophomore year, they discovered a few affinities, started dating and selling volumetric scale models to students in their 5th year – a skill they both had. Later on, in their last college year, they got married. In the beginning of their new life, to be able to monitor the growth of their children without giving up her profession, Daniele decided to set up a home office, while Adriano assumed the position of architect at Stancati Arquitetura, in São Paulo.

Selling dreams, ideas and results; this is the assignment of architects Daniele Guardini and Adriano Stancati, as shown in the works displayed in this book that has arrived to celebrate their 15 years of profession and partnership, which began at Pontifícia Universidade Católica - PUC-Campinas, in the course of architecture and urbanism. The choice to enter the universe of architecture presented itself in a different way. As a child, Dani wanted to study veterinary medicine or oceanography as a possible result of the influence of her parents who were quite connected with animals and nature. However, she discovered her real aptitude in her teenage years.

But, as the years passed, a significant growth in the number of projects made it increasingly difficult for Daniele to continue in her solo career, in a small office located in Sousas, a subdistrict of Campinas. Feeling quite confident, the architects realized they should invest in a larger area. Adriano quit his job as a project manager at Stancati Arquitetura and founded Guardini Stancati Arquitetura + Design with Daniele, at Cambuí, a place where they have worked to the present day.

Showing a dynamic involvement in their personal life and profession, their portfolio currently includes a number of customized architectural and interior design projects in diversified residential, business, corporate and industrial segments. In their opinion, when a project is adequately underpinned, there are no limits

for creation. You can see a little of each one in all their projects: she is detail oriented and functional; while he is technological and bold.

Each assignment brings a new challenge, as they prefer not to follow a predefined style, in favor of a style that fits a client’s profile most adequately. Hence, at each project, they seek to use new technologies and unique constructive solutions that meet functional, ergonomic, safety, comfort and aesthetical requirements.

The same can be said in relation to “trends”. In their understanding “trends” relate to the natural evolution of the human being, of their way of being and living.

Hence, construction works are nothing but a reflection of needs.

When broaching on the subject of sustainability, they prefer to regard the concept as inherent in all creations.

Whether in the use of natural lighting, crossed ventilation, rainwater catchment or renewable materials. According to Daniele and Adriano, such issues are simply part of “good architecture”.

Despite the adversities throughout their career and married life, added to the company’s daily obligations during the years they have been together, their passion for architecture and their dedication to each new assignment brought nationwide prestige and recognition to these professional who are now getting ready to establish new headquarters and branch offices in New York and Miami.

As she had developed a passionate interest in painting and drawing, she decided to enroll in an interior design course. Identifying immediately with the subject, she had no second thoughts that from there on she would have a career in creation.

Such certainties came earlier for Adriano. As the son of a civil engineer and a interior designer, he had the opportunity to observe his parents work at the office at an early age. In addition to their daily routine, visits to a number of museums and architectural monuments had always been part of the daily life of his family. Therefore, architecture had always been among his favorite things.

Mundo afora Quem trabalha com arte sabe que, apesar de prazerosa, a atividade não é tarefa simples. Mais complicado ainda é mensurar o valor das criações, pois são pessoais e advindas de infinitas inspirações. Mas, afinal, como elas acontecem? É certo que além de um minucioso estudo do cliente, da tipologia da obra, cada projeto é um novo desafio. Daí a necessidade de estar preparado, seja do ponto de vista técnico, seja cultural. E para isso, nada melhor que viajar. Para Daniele e Adriano, as viagens não só servem para renovar e reciclar os conceitos, como também para estimular a constante criatividade.

Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Las Vegas, Chicago, Amsterdam, Nova York, Miami, Milão, Paris, Praga, Beijin, Shangai, Dubai, Abudabi são algumas cidades por onde eles já passaram.

Daniele and Adriano agree that traveling not only renews and recycles concepts, but stimulates constant creativity as well.

Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Las Vegas, Chicago, Amsterdam, New York, Miami, Milan, Paris, Prague, Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai, Abu Dahbi are a few of the cities they have been to. In the beginning of their married life and career, traveling was a reward of the awards received.

Para os filhos, costuma dizer que estes momentos são para “afiar o machado”, fazendo uma analogia à antiga metáfora do jovem lenhador que desafia seu mestre em uma competição para cortar árvores. Durante a competição ele vê várias vezes o velho lenhador sentado, enquanto ele jovem e vigoroso continuava a cortar árvores sem parar. No final do dia, para sua surpresa, o velho lenhador havia cortado mais árvores do que ele. Ao perguntar como era possível, uma vez que ele o viu descansando várias vezes, obteve a seguinte resposta: “- Enquanto eu descansava, afiava meu machado !”

He usually tells his children that those are moments to “sharpen one ax”, making an analogy to the old metaphor of a young lumberjack who challenged his master in a competition to cut trees down. During the competition, he could see the old lumberjack sitting down, while he, a youthful and vigorous man kept on cutting trees down without a break. At the end of the day, to his surprise, the old lumberjack had cut more trees down than he. When he asked how the old lumberjack did it – as he had seen him resting a few times, he got the following reply, “While I rested, I sharpen my ax.!”

Com um estilo contemporâneo conquistamos aqui a medida exata entre a elegância e a personalidade dos moradores: um jovem casal com uma filha de quatro anos e um bebê ainda por vir. A exigência deles era de que a casa fosse bem arejada, repleta de áreas propícias ao convívio e que mantivesse em sua essência algumas referências clássicas da arquitetura.

Adopting a contemporary style, we achieved the exact proportion between the refinement and the personality of the dwellers: a young couple with a four-year old child and a baby yet to come. They wanted an airy house filled with gathering areas, but essentially preserving some classical architectural references.

Pavimento Térreo / Ground Floor Uma peculiaridade deste projeto é que ele foi desenvolvido a distância, pois na ocasião os proprietários moravam em Miami, Estados Unidos. Mesmo assim, por meio de conferências, conseguimos traduzir os desejos do casal em uma morada de 430m2.

The uniqueness of this project is the fact it was developed remotely, as the owners lived in Miami, USA on that occasion. All the same, by means of conference calls, we managed to translate the wishes of that couple into a 430m2 home.

Quanto às referências clássicas, elas se revelam no desenho simétrico, arrematado por revestimentos nobres de cores claras e neutras. Já a presença de grandes vãos, além de garantir ventilação cruzada e maior conforto térmico, proporcionou o aproveitamento máximo da iluminação natural durante o dia.

As far as classical references, they are revealed in the symmetrical design, finished with noble covering of light and neutral colors. Now, the presence of large free standing spaces, besides ensuring crossed ventilation and more thermal comfort, enabled full use of natural lighting during the day.

A integração da casa com a área social também foi privilegiada pelo pé direito de seis metros do living e pelas portas deslizantes que dão acesso à varanda e ao espaço gourmet. No andar superior, estão as quatro suítes amplas acompanhadas por minicopa de apoio. A fim de garantir conforto e privacidade, somente as dependências do casal (quarto, closet e sala de banho) foram contempladas com varanda e jardim exclusivos.

The integration of the house with the social area was highly favored by the 6m ceiling height in the living room and by the sliding doors to the veranda and the gourmet space. The upper floor houses the four large suites, each equipped with a supporting minipantry. To ensure comfort and privacy, only the couple’s area (room, closet and bathroom) were awarded with a veranda and a private garden.

Imponente, este projeto foi desenvolvido para servir de modelo ao lançamento de um empreendimento residencial em Jaguariúna, interior de São Paulo.

O terreno de 700m2, localizado na esquina da quadra, é assimétrico, o que possibilitou boa dose de ousadia na disposição dos cômodos, a fim de aproveitar ao máximo os espaços e valorizar a fachada.

This grandiose project was developed as a model to the introduction of a housing undertaking in Jaguariúna, interior of the state of São Paulo. The 700m2 lot located on the corner of the block is triangular, which allowed for a large amount of boldness in the room layout, to make full use of the area and value the facade.

Aqui, nos valemos de alguns recursos arquitetônicos para tornar a moradia confortável no verão e aconchegante no inverno. Com um estilo contemporâneo, depois de construída, a fachada trará identidade ímpar à residência. Isso se deve à inserção de uma caixa de escada com estrutura em aço, exposta na área externa através de grandes planos de vidro, circundados de elementos metálicos horizontais.

Here, we resorted to a few architectural gimmicks to make the house comfortable in summer and cozy in winter. Having a contemporary style, after it has been built, it should provide a unique identity to the house. This is due to the insertion of a stairwell with a steel structure, exposed in the external area by large glass panes surrounded by horizontal metal elements.

Ao lado da porta de entrada, uma faixa de ripas de madeira serve como detalhe contemporâneo de revestimento, ao mesmo tempo em que esconde duas janelas, uma do banheiro da suíte e a outra do lavabo.

Next to the front door, a strip of wood clapboard adds a contemporary covering detail and, at the same time, hides two windows – the suite bathroom window and the restroom window.

Três suítes com closet e uma sala íntima devem compor a parte superior da construção. Abaixo, o living de pé direito duplo se integra à sala de jantar e home theater, ambientes articulados à cozinha, varanda, espaço gourmet, área de lazer e demais dependências.

Three rooms with a closet and a private room should compose the upper part of the construction. Below, the double height ceiling is integrated to the dining room and home theater, settings connected to the kitchen, veranda, gourmet space, recreational area and other facilities.

Uma linguagem tipicamente contemporânea define a arquitetura desta residência de 400m², localizada no condomínio Sainte Helene, em Campinas.

Conforme solicitação dos proprietários, a construção em geometria plana em nenhum momento perdeu seu ar de ar aconchego. Para tornar a volumetria mais interessante, criamos uma empena de tijolos aparentes de demolição.

A typically contemporary language defines the architecture of this 400m2 house, located at Sainte Helene condominium, in Campinas. By the owners’ request, at no time this construction in plane geometry lost its cozy appearance. To make its volumetry more interesting, we created a gable of demolition brick on face.

Pelo fato de estar em diagonal, essa empena parece se deslocar da fachada principal, pois quebra a perpendicularidade das caixas retas. Além da estética interessante, uma das principais funções é bloquear a incidência direta dos raios solares sobre a casa e assim manter o frescor nas áreas internas.

As it was placed diagonally, the element seems to move away from the main facade, as it breaks the perpendicularity of the straight wells. Besides its interesting looks, it also blocks direct sunlight on the house to keep internal areas cool.

Ainda na face principal, semipórticos em forma de pergolado de concreto servem de abrigo aos automóveis e protegem a entrada principal. Nas varandas, guarda-corpos de vidro e aço-inox, seguem a linha contemporânea do restante da construção, cujos caixilhos em alumínio anodizado contrastam com o tom terracota do tijolo.

Still on the main face, pergola-shaped semiporticoes shelter vehicles and protect the main entrance. In the verandas guardrails made of glass and stainless steel follow the contemporary style of the rest of the construction, whose frames in anodized aluminum contrast with the terracotta tone of the bricks.

No pavimento superior, quatro suítes são interligadas por uma passarela aberta para o living com pé direito de 6 metros, recurso que conferiu ainda mais amplitude a todos os ambientes da casa. Na configuração interna, desde o início, a premissa era integração. Assim, duas portas deslizantes de vidro, com quatro metros de comprimento cada uma, servem para delimitar e também integrar o living ao espaço gourmet e varanda. Além disso, toda vez que uma porta é aberta ou fechada surge à possibilidade de uma nova configuração do espaço.

Na área de lazer, a piscina encontra-se elevada a 60 centímetros do piso, com borda infinita que, além de favorecer o escoamento da água protege de eventuais quedas. Internamente foi revestida com pastilhas cerâmicas e recebeu placas de aquecedores solares para os dias em que a temperatura é mais baixa.

On the upper floor, four suites are interconnected by an open footbridge to the 6 meter high living room ceiling, a resource that provided even more spaciousness to all settings in the house. For the internal layout integration was the purpose from the very beginning. Hence, two sliding four-meter long glass doors serve to delimit and integrate the living room to the gourmet space and veranda. In addition, the possibility of a new space layout arises each time a door is open or shut.

In the recreational area, the negative edge swimming pool was raised 60cm from the ground to favor water drainage and prevent accidental falls. Its inside was covered with ceramic tablets and received solar heating panels for those days when the temperature is lower.

Há algo muito espetacular nesta casa, ainda em fase de construção, em um condomínio de luxo na cidade de Vinhedo, São Paulo. Talvez seja sua localização, circundada por área de preservação ambiental. Ou quem sabe seja a arquitetura, definida por volumes brancos, escalonados e retilíneos. Provavelmente a mistura disso tudo é que a torna única, antes mesmo de estar pronta. O lote de 1.100m2 tem aclive bastante acentuado, mas que em nenhum momento nos intimidou. Ao contrário, tais características desafiaram à elaboração de um partido de 580m², muito bem resolvido no que se refere à funcionalidade dos espaços.

There is something very spectacular about this house, still being built in a luxury condominium in the city of Vinhedo, São Paulo. It might be its location surrounded by an environment protection area. Or who knows whether it might be its architecture defined by white, straight and terraced volumes. It is probable that a mixture of all those elements that give uniqueness to this house even not being ready. The 1,100 m2 lot has a rather pronounced slope that did not intimidate us at all. On the contrary, such properties brought about the development of a 580m2 environment, quite adequately solved in terms of space convenience.

No primeiro nível ficam a garagem para três veículos e as dependências de serviço. Enquanto o segundo piso serve à área social, abrigando o living, a sala de jantar, a cozinha e uma extensa varanda. Já o terceiro nível destina-se à área privativa da família, por onde se distribuem quatro suítes, terraço, área de lazer com piscina e espaço gourmet.

The first level houses a garage for three vehicles and the service quarters. While the second floor serves the social area, housing the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and a spacious veranda.

Now, the third level comprises a private area of the family with four suites, terrace, recreational area with a swimming pool and a gourmet space.

Dentre as escolhas arquitetônicas mais atraentes, estão a grande varanda em balanço, os grandes planos de vidro e uma grande empena revestida com pedra filetada. O elemento esteticamente elegante, também serve como caixa para a escada e elevador.

Por fim, vale ressaltar que todos os ambientes de convívio terão vista para o rico paisagismo local.

Among the most attractive architectural choices are the large cantilevered veranda, the large glass panes and a large gable covered with threaded stones. That aesthetically elegant element also serves as a stairwell and an elevator well. Finally, it should be stressed that all gathering areas will overlook the exuberant local landscaping.

Esta obra começou como uma reforma e acabou se tornando uma reconstrução. Colocamos a residência anterior de 450m2 praticamente abaixo para ceder espaço a uma casa com fartas dimensões, cerca de 950m2.

A linguagem tipicamente clássica atende ao pedido dos futuros moradores, um casal com dois filhos jovens adultos.

This work began as a remodeling and ended up as a reconstruction. We practically demolished the former 450m2 dwelling to provide space to a house of spacious dimensions, about 950m2. The typically classical language meets the request of the future dwellers, a couple with two young adult boys.

O único elemento aproveitado da antiga morada, foi o recuo frontal que acomodará a garagem para sete automóveis. A construção distribui-se em dois pisos. No superior ficarão as três suítes. A máster terá dois banheiros: um para ele, outro para ela, além de closet independente e spa do casal. Enquanto o pavimento térreo abrigará um living que se integra à piscina e ao espaço gourmet, bem equipado e preparado para receber os amigos. Este mesmo piso deve concentrar também cozinha, copa e demais dependências de uso coletivo.

The frontal recess was the only element we could use from the old house. It will accommodate seven vehicles. The construction is distributed on two floors. The upper floor will house three suites. The master suite will have two bathrooms, one for him and the other for her, in addition to an independent closet and a spa for the couple. A história desta casa projetada e construída por nosso escritório começou quando os proprietários manifestaram a predileção por uma arquitetura cercada de aparatos tecnológicos, mas que remetesse a “construções rústicas”. Depois de algumas conversas, definimos que no local deveria haver o predomínio de tijolos aparentes e madeira, materiais apreciados pela família.

Com 360m2 distribuídos em lote com leve aclive, a construção reforça a linguagem desejada pelos moradores. A começar pela fachada que recebeu tijolo de demolição assentado com junta seca (sem rejunte) e com amarração proporcional à altura.

The story of this house which was projected and built by our office began when its owners expressed their preference for an architecture surrounded by technological apparatuses, but that would make reference to “rustic constructions”. After a few talks, we defined that materials the family liked as on face bricks and wood should prevail.

With its 360m2 distributed on a lot with a slight acclivity, the construction reinforces the dwellers’ language of choice. Starting with the facade that received demolition bricks laid on dry joints (without grout) and bonding in proportion to height.

Outros detalhes também chamam a atenção, como os vãos das janelas com esquadrias de alumínio bronze, que receberam apenas um requadro em madeira maçaranduba lavrada. As aberturas também não são convencionais – as de baixo com vistas para o jardim e as de cima se abrem para o céu. A escada, logo na entrada, é outro elemento de destaque. Esculpida com vigas de concreto em balanço e piso de madeira, ao ser embutida na parede cria um efeito de flutuante.

Other details that also deserved attention, as the window apertures with frames of aluminum-bronze, which just underwent reframing in carved wood (maçaranduba). The apertures are not conventional either – lower apertures overlook the garden, and the upper open to the sky. The stairs right at the main door, are another outstanding element. Sculptured with cantilevered concrete beams and wooden floor, as it is built into the wall, it creates a floating effect.

E como não poderia deixar de ser, a cobertura acompanha o restante da linguagem. Executada em telhão colonial, é complementada por porta de demolição, proveniente de antigos casarões de fazenda. Nos fundos do lote, a área de lazer é equipada com piscina e churrasqueira e se interliga às demais áreas de convívio.

And, as expected, the roof follows the remaining language. Executed in colonial tiles, it is complemented by a demolition door from old farm manors. In the back of the lot, the recreational area is equipped with a swimming pool and barbecue and interconnects with the other gathering areas.

Este é um exemplo de que não há limitações para arquitetura. O terreno tinha características bem peculiares, com 620m2 e formato triangular. O nosso desafio foi criar um partido que aproveitasse ao máximo as condições geográficas do lote, com forte declive e desnível de sete metros.

This is an example that there are no limitations to good architecture. That lot had unique characteristics, with 620m2 and a triangular shape. Our challenge was to create an environment that took full advantage of the geographic conditions of the lot, with a pronounced slope and a seven-meter unevenness.

Com linhas retas e minimalistas, a residência distribui-se em quatro níveis. Garagem, hall e escritório encontram-se no nível da rua. Cerca de dois metros abaixo deste pavimento, localizam-se e as áreas sociais, compostas por sala de estar, cozinha, lavabo e espaço gourmet e área de lazer. Em favor da boa circulação, logo acima do hall de entrada foi criado um mezanino de acesso e distribuição às suítes do casal e dos filhos, dois meninos. Enquanto a suíte da menina foi implantada no último lance.

Having straight and minimalist lines, the house is distributed over four levels. The garage, hall and office are located at the street level. The social areas which comprise the living room, kitchen, restroom, gourmet space and the recreational area are located about two meters below the street floor. To optimize good circulation, right above the entry hall, we created an access and distribution mezzanine to the suites of the couple and their boys, while the girl’s suite was implemented on the last level.

Para materializar o sonho da família de morar com sofisticação, mas seguindo um conceito arquitetônico minimalista de linhas retas e puras, utilizamos alguns recursos para atender à dinâmica de implantação: escada interna exposta na face principal, fechada por extenso pano de vidro, porta com cinco metros de altura e alguns elementos paisagísticos para acompanhar um caminho sobre espelho d’água, como três bolas brancas que funcionam como fonte, um desejo da moradora, desde o primeiro esboço do projeto.

To realize that family dream of living with sophistication, but in accordance to a minimalist architectural concept of straight and pure lines, we used a few methods to meet the dynamics of implementation: internal stairways that were exposed on the main face, closed by a large glass pane, a five-meter tall door and some landscaping elements to go along a path over a shallow pool, as three white balls that work as a fountain; a wish of the dweller since the first project outline.

Assim como na fachada, o conceito de leveza pode ser observado em todo o partido. Com volumes bem definidos, a fachada posterior concentra a área de lazer, cuja piscina se integra ao espaço gourmet e à cozinha – ambientes interligados por porta deslizante.

Similarly to the facade, the lightness concept may be seen throughout the entire environment. Having well defined volumes, the posterior facade comprises the whole recreational area, whose L-shaped swimming pool is integrated with the gourmet space and the kitchen – the settings are interconnected by a sliding door.

Acima, no piso superior, outra solução pouco comum foi a integração das suítes das duas filhas adolescentes. No lugar da parede de alvenaria, sugerimos a instalação de uma porta de correr. Quando recebem as amigas, a porta é aberta e o ambiente se torna único.

Above, on the upper floor, another unusual solution was the integration of the teenage daughters’ suites. In place of a masonry wall, we suggested that a sliding door be installed. The door is open when they receive their friends and their rooms become a single setting.

Dentro desse repertório arquitetônico contemporâneo, o living esbanja leveza e imponência a partir da criação de uma lareira revestida com mármore romano bruto. A diferença está na instalação: ladeada por panos de vidro. À noite, quando acesa, cria um efeito de luz e sombra. Durante o dia, gera ilusão de ótica com o paisagismo ao fundo.

Within that contemporary architectural repertory, the living room squanders lightness and grandiosity with a Roman raw marble covered fireplace. The difference is in the setup that is surrounded by glass panes. At night, when lit, it creates a light and shadow effect; at daytime, it creates an optical illusion with the landscaping in the background.

Logo na primeira reunião, os proprietários manifestaram o desejo de uma casa diferenciada. Para tanto, foram necessárias algumas simulações até chegar à atual configuração, uma mescla entre o rústico e o contemporâneo.

We projected this 379m2 house for a young couple with only one boy. Right at the first meeting, the owners expressed their wish to have a unique house. That required some simulations before arriving at the current configuration, a mix of rustic and contemporary styles.

Com um ar sereno, o partido arquitetônico equilibra muito bem esse mix de estilos. Uma das paredes da fachada recebeu tijolos de demolição, assentados com junta seca, solução que evidenciou o caráter contemporâneo da obra. A porta também foi desenhada exclusivamente para este projeto, confeccionada com cruzetas de madeira, intercaladas com vidro.

Having a peaceful air, the architectural environment balances this mix of styles very well. One of the facade walls receive demolition bricks laid with dry joints, a solution that enhanced the contemporary character of the work. The door was also designed exclusively for this project, made of wood crossbeams intercalated with glass.

No andar superior, uma passarela fechada por guarda corpo de vidro acompanha o desenho da escada metálica. No subsolo abaixo do living, a adega era outro desejo antigo do casal, apreciadores de vinhos. O espaço entre a sala de estar e jantar remete aos pátios da região toscana.

On the upper floor, a footbridge closed by glass guardrails follows the design of the metal stairway. In the underground, below the living room, the wine cellar was another old wish of the wine loving couple. The space between the living and the dining rooms refers to courtyards in the Tuscany region.

Com pé-direito de 6 metros, o living desta residência é definido por certa ousadia – proporcionada pela forma escultórica da escada metálica em balanço com guarda-corpo de vidro. O material também substituiu o fechamento em alvenaria da passarela de acesso às quatro suítes, no pavimento superior. O modo inovador como os andares se relacionam proporcionou total amplitude aos espaços.

With a 6-meter ceiling height, the living room of this house is defined by a certain boldness – provided by the sculptured shape of the metal stairway cantilevered with the glass guardrail. That material also replaced the masonry closing of the footbridge that gain access to the four suites on the upper floor. The innovative way the floors are connected allowed full amplitude to all spaces.

Ao mesmo tempo, todos os ambientes de convívio são tomados pela sóbria elegância dos tons neutros e terrosos. Já o gosto dos moradores por elementos rústicos, se faz presente no hall de entrada, com a porta pivotante em madeira de demolição e a parede de tijolos envelhecidos – os mesmo utilizados na fachada principal da casa.

Além da leveza nas cores, uma tendência geométrica na disposição dos móveis garante ordem ao estar – como a lareira com desenho longilíneo, a mesa de centro retangular e os estofados em perfeita simetria. O pé direito de grande dimensão ganha movimento no forro com caixas de gesso quadradas e retangulares em diversas espessuras que deslocam do teto.

At the same time, all the gathering areas feature the sober elegance of neutral and earthy shades.

Now the dwellers’ preference for rustic elements can be seen in the lobby, with a pivoted door made of demolition wood and the wall of aged bricks – the same bricks used in the main facade of the house.

In addition to the lightness of colors, a geometric trend in the furniture layout ensures order to the living room – as the fireplace with a pediment that follows the large ceiling dimensions, the rectangular center table and the cushions in perfect symmetry.

A simplicidade e elegância caminham juntas nesse projeto. No quarto do casal, as cores chegam pontuais e intensas, utilizadas nas almofadas e no patchwork da poltrona e banqueta. Também dedicamos atenção especial ao banheiro, dividido de maneira pouco usual. A bancada da pia fica em frente da banheira, que é resguardada por um espelho flutuante, fixado no teto. Ao fundo, um nicho iluminado percorre toda a parede.

Simplicity and elegance go hand in hand in this project. The master bedroom, shows punctual and intense colors, as in the cushions, armchair and stool patchwork. We also dedicated special attention to the toilet, whose partitioning is somewhat unusual. The sink cabinet is located opposite the bathtub, which is has a hanging mirror fixed on the ceiling. In the background, a lighted niche can be seen throughout the entire wall.

Aqui, o projeto de interiores elaborado por nosso escritório seguiu a linha do lindo projeto assinado pelo arquiteto Lourenço Dantas. Os proprietários têm gostos contemporâneos, mas versáteis o suficiente para misturar peças de design com móveis de família e materiais refinados, como a cristaleira antiga restaurada e colocada na sala de jantar ao lado da mesa em laca branca e das luminárias ultracontemporâneas.

Apesar da atmosfera acolhedora refletida em boa parte dos ambientes, segundo os moradores, alguns espaços deveriam remeter a um caráter mais lúdico. É que a família adora receber os amigos e familiares para jantares e festas. Para não sobrecarregar demais nas escolhas ou tornar o ambiente cansativo, pincelamos cores fúcsia, roxo, verde e azul em alguns objetos ou elementos com bases neutras, como branco, cinza e a madeira natural garantindo o clima despojado e divertido.

Por essa mesma razão de sempre receber convidados, o living é integrado ao home theater, equipado com TV para o dia a dia e telão durante as festas. Persianas, cortinas, iluminação, áudio e vídeo são automatizados e permitem várias cenas no ambiente, de acordo com a ocasião.

O espaço gourmet também é interligado ao restante da casa, seguindo o conceito de cores, funcionalidade e diversão. Piso cinza, granito preto, mesa e mobiliário em madeira, mesclam-se às pastilhas cerâmicas verdes e luminárias multicoloridas.

Despite the warm atmosphere reflected in most of the environments , according to residents , some spaces should refer to a more playful character . Is that the family loves having friends and family for dinners and parties. To not overwhelm the other choices or make the tiring room , pincelamos colors fuchsia, purple, green and blue in some objects or elements with neutral bases such as white, gray and natural wood , ensuring a fun and weather stripped .

For this reason always entertaining , the living room is integrated into home theater , equipped with a TV for day to day and big screen during the holidays. Blinds, curtains , lighting, audio and video are automated and allow various scenes in the environment , according to the occasion.

The gourmet is also connected to the rest of the house , following the concept of color , functionality and fun. Ash flooring , black granite table and wooden furniture , mingle with green ceramic inserts and multicolored lights.

A decoração respeitou a personalidade dos moradores e preservou muito a história de vida da família e suas preferências. A proprietária tem a costura como hobby. Por isso, criamos um cantinho especial para ela, com todos os equipamentos necessários. Ali a marcenaria branca se sobressai em meio a prateleiras com fechamento em laca verde-água.

The design respected the owners’ personality and greatly preserved the life story of the family and their preferences. As sewing is the wife’s main hobby, we created a special corner for her, with all the equipment she may need. There the white woodwork is enhanced among shelves closing themselves in water-green lacquer.

Sob a escada fica a adega, desenhada para acomodar as taças e cave climatizada. A madeira de pinho de riga utilizada foi aproveitada de uma antiga porta. Na sala de jogos, o bar recebeu um balão de granito café levigado e aço cortem. Prateleiras iluminadas mesclam vidro e criam um efeito moderno em contraste com a registradora antiga.

Já, para o proprietário que “adora criar ou consertar coisas” nos fins de semana, desenhamos uma bancada de madeira teça com portas de enrolar e iluminação pontual para acomodar os equipamentos e todas as ferramentas.

Na sala íntima e escritório, predominam as cores branca, cinza e amarela. Todos os móveis de marcenaria foram desenhados exclusivamente para este projeto.

Under the stairs is a wine cellar, designed to accommodate the cups and heated basement . The pine wood was used riga used an old door.In the game room , the bar received a balloon granite levigated coffee and steel cut . Lighted glass shelves blend and create a modern effect in contrast to the old Already, for the owner who “loves creating or repairing things” on the weekends, we designed a bank of teak wood with roll-up doors and spot lighting to accommodate the equipment and all the tools. In the intimate room and office, dominated by white, gray and yellow. All furniture joinery were designed exclusively for this project.

O projeto de interiores desta residência já arrancou suspiros de muitos visitantes, tanto pelo equilíbrio na escolha da paleta de cores -- tons claros e neutros, como o branco, o cinza e off white, os mesmos adotados nas áreas externas -- quanto pela escolha minuciosa de cada peça de decoração. Os proprietários queriam que a morada tivesse uma atmosfera contemporânea, ao mesmo tempo em que revelasse a elegância do clássico.

O living é o ambiente que melhor reflete tais desejos. Para manter o equilíbrio entre a amplitude dos espaços e a lareira de 6,5 metros de altura, optamos por móveis com grandes dimensões e dispostos de maneira simétrica. As referências clássicas são ainda enfatizadas pelos sofás em veludo capitonê e pelo lustre de cristal da sala de jantar. Para complementar, a iluminação cênica evidencia os detalhes do ambiente, tornando-o mais aconchegante.

The interior design of this house has heaved sighs from many visitors, both for the balanced choice of the color palette – bright and neutral shades, as white, gray and off white, just as adopted in the external areas – and the careful choice of each decoration item. The owners wanted their home to have a contemporary atmosphere that, at the same time, revealed the elegance of the classical style.

The living room is the area that best mirrors such wishes. To preserve the balance between the large spaces and the 6.5 meter tall fireplace, we chose large-sized furniture in a symmetrical layout. The classical references are further enhanced by the sofas in capitone velvet and the crystal chandelier in the dining room. To complement, scenic lighting enhances the details of the setting, making it cozier.

O home theater é o local mais frequentado da casa. É lá que todas as noites o casal e os dois filhos ainda pequenos se reúnem para assistir a filmes e desenhos. Inspirado em uma mostra de decoração realizada por nós, possui iluminação indireta âmbar, que dá um toque dramático ao ambiente de cores escuras como o cinza e o preto. O conforto é garantido pelo grande futon sobre um tablado de madeira e carpete. Para acomodar a TV e os equipamentos, projetamos um painel e um rack suspenso.

Até mesmo o lavabo deveria estar em consonância com o restante das áreas sociais, daí a sugestão: papel de parede preto com arabescos prateados em relevo, para manter a proposta de sofisticação clássica e neutralidade nas cores. A pia, esculpida em silestone chrome cinza, ganha destaque com os objetos de prata e o pendente de iluminação. A cozinha também deveria fugir do convencional branco, por isso a optamos por revestimentos pretos e em aço-inox.

The home theater is the busiest spot in the house. Each evening, it is there that the couple and their two small children gather to watch movies and cartoons.

Inspired in one of our designing exhibits, its amber indirect lighting gives a dramatic touch to the setting in dark colors as gray and black. A large futon on a wooden platform and the carpet ensure plenty of comfort. To accommodate the TV set and the equipment, we designed a panel and a suspended rack.

The toilet should also match the remaining social areas, hence the suggestion: black wallpaper with silver arabesques in relief to keep the classic sophistication proposal and color neutrality. The washbasin sculptured in chrome gray silestone is further highlighted by silver objects and the lighting fixture. The kitchen should also go beyond the ordinary white color, for that reason, we chose black linings in stainless steel.

O projeto exibe decoração neutra, mas muito sofisticada, revelada nas cores branca e nude.

Passion at first sight. That is the overwhelming feeling of those who enter this model apartment of 163m2, designed by our office for the first Cyrela Brazil Realty undertaking in the city of Campinas. The project displays a neutral but highly sophisticated design, as revealed in the white and nude colors.

O living é o ambiente onde prevalecem as linhas retas, com espaço suficiente para a interação entre os donos da casa e seus convidados. Amplo, possui duas sacadas e ambientes completamente integrados, porém bem definidos: de um lado, a sala de TV (que se camufla atrás do espelho), estar e jantar com nicho para adega e café; do outro, mesa e banco de madeira, ao lado de um futon para relaxamento.

Straight lines prevail in the living room with enough space for the interaction among the owner of the house and his guests. The apartment is spacious, having two balconies and fully integrated, but well defined settings: on one side the TV room (which is disguised by a mirror), living and dining rooms with a niche for a cellar and coffee; on the other side, a table and a wooden bench placed near a futon for relaxation.

Sem fugir do conceito clean de ambientação, a cozinha também traz seus encantos. Projetada com grande bancada em silestone branco, tem ainda armários revestidos com tons amadeirados, o que torna o espaço mais aconchegante.

Assim como no living, os mesmos cuidados com a iluminação se repetem: gesso com rasgos para a instalação de luminárias especiais, o que por vezes gera um efeito de luz muito agradável.

Without getting away from the clean design concept, the kitchen also has its attractions.

Designed with a large stand in white silestone, it also features cabinets lined in wooden tones to lend more coziness to the space. Just as in the living room, the same lighting care can be seen: gypsum with grooves for special lighting fixtures, which sometimes creates a very pleasant lighting effect.

Na suíte da menina, o rosa é usado de maneira descontraída. A estampa da cama é discreta e muito jovial: flores em tons de rosa e marrom na colcha e almofadas com poás no mesmo tom. Enquanto no dormitório do casal há o predomínio do branco em meio aos vários tons de bege.

In the suite of the girl, pink is used in a relaxed way. The print bedding is discreet and very jovial: flowers in shades of pink and brown bedspread and pillows in the same tone with polka dots. While in the bedroom of the couple there is a predominance of white amid the various shades of beige.

Esta casa pertence a um casal com três filhos: uma jovem e dois adolescentes.

A família adora ambientações contemporâneas, tanto que a arquitetura foi baseada em linhas retas e minimalistas. No entanto, queria atribuir a todos os ambientes uma sensação de aconchego sem perda da modernidade. Assim, com boa dose de criatividade, decidimos ousar em algumas escolhas.

Trouxemos para o projeto a madeira de demolição encontrada na casa de fazenda do pai da proprietária. Além disso, a solução de alto valor emocional conferiu identidade aos espaços. A exemplo da porta deslizante que separa o living da cozinha e os degraus da escada de acesso à área íntima.

The house belongs to a couple with three children: a young lady and two teenage boys. As the family loves contemporary settings, the architecture was based on straight and minimalist lines. However, they wanted to add a feeling of coziness without losing modernity. Then, with a considerable amount of creativity, we decided to make some daring choices. We brought to the project the demolition wood that was found on the owner’s father’s farm. In addition, that solution of deep emotional value, conferred an identity to the spaces. As in the case of the sliding door that between the kitchen living space and the steps of the stairway to the private area.

O living reflete um pouco dessa modernidade despojada, sendo pontuado por estofados de cores neutras, como o sofá de camurça grafite ao lado de poltronas com estampa vintage, dispostos de forma assimétrica. Ainda na ala social, acompanhando a intenção de poucos e relevantes elementos, a porta de entrada rouba a cena por sua cor, o amarelo ouro vibrante.

The living room reflects some of that unattached modernity, being punctuated by upholstered furniture in neutral colors, as a graphite suede sofa beside a vintage stamped armchairs, laid out asymmetrically. Still in the social area in agreement to the intention of having just a few and relevant elements, the front door steals the show because of its vibrating golden yellow color.

Na sequência do hall de entrada, um mezanino serve à distribuição das suítes do casal e dos três filhos. Irmãos e grandes companheiros, os meninos ganharam quartos integrados. Cada qual com seu canto. Um adora leitura, por isso uma estante nas mesmas dimensões do pé direito. O outro é ligado aos esportes, daí a parede com escalada.

O projeto luminotécnico é também pontual. Com luzes balizadoras na escada, arandelas de luz indireta e spots de iluminação teatral. No mais, uma casa com grandes aberturas para o aproveitamento máximo da iluminação natural.

Next to the lobby, a mezzanine leads to the suites of the couple and those of the three children. Brothers and loyal companions, the boys were given integrated rooms. Each boy with his own place. One of them loves reading, hence a bookcase going up to the ceiling. The other is fond of sports, hence a climbing wall.

The lighting project is also punctual. With orientation lighting on the stairways, indirect wall lighting and theater spotlights. In sum, a house with large openings to get the maximum benefit of natural lighting.

Esta casa pertence a um jovem empresário da cidade de Campinas. Solteiro, ele queria um local onde pudesse receber amigos e familiares para festas e jantares frequentes. Antenado e com um gosto apurado à arte e decoração, o jovem apenas determinou que a ambientação fosse permeada por soluções contemporâneas e mantivesse cores quentes e neutras.

This house belongs to a young entrepreneur of Campinas. As a bachelor, he wanted a place where he could entertain friends and relatives in frequent dinners and parties. Attuned to people and having an accurate taste for art and design, the young bachelor only required that the setting were permeated with contemporary solutions while it kept warm and neutral colors.

O resultado pode ser conferido nas belas imagens: no living um “ton sur ton” conseguido com a mescla do sofá bege com a poltrona estampada, a parede inteiramente revestida com painéis de madeira, além do piso em mármore imperial marrom light, que também se estende ao jantar. Neste último, a opção por mesa com tampo de vidro preto tornou o ambiente mais masculino. O projeto arquitetônico é de Márcio Silva.

The result may be seen in these beautiful pictures: in the living room, a ton sur ton achieved by blending the beige sofa with the stamped armchair, the walls totally lined with wooden panels, in addition to the floor in imperial light brown marble that is extended to the dining room, where a table with a black table top added a masculine touch. Construído há quase 30 anos, este apartamento de 600m2 foi inteiramente reformulado e decorado por nós para que se adequasse ao estilo de vida dos moradores –mãe com dois filhos adolescentes. Para obter luminosidade interior, a distribuição interna das áreas sociais teve de ser modificada, prevalecendo a integração entre as áreas de convívio.

We completely remodeled and decorated this 600m2 apartment that was built nearly 30 years ago to adjust it to the life style of its dwellers – a mother and her two teenage children. To achieve interior lighting, the internal layout of the social areas had to be modified, prevailing the integration of common use areas.

O desejo da proprietária era por um estilo contemporâneo com forte apelo clássico. Tal conceito fica evidente no living, onde se sobressaem peças de família junto a mobiliário atual, arrematado por obras da Marchand Sueli Pennone.

Sóbrio, o escritório é outra atração. Diferente das composições mais minimalistas, remete a uma época em que esse tipo cômodo era baseado em marcenaria. Daí, a presença de estante com espaço para grande acervo de livros e objetos de arte. Enquanto para o home theater e varanda, a proposta foi maior despojamento e menos seriedade, pois são os ambientes mais frequentados pelos jovens amigos dos filhos.

The owner wanted a contemporary style with a strong classical appeal. That concept becomes evident in the living room, where family items together with current furnishings, bought from art dealer Sueli Pennone.

The sober office is another attraction. Different from more minimalist settings, it refers to a time when this type of room was mainly composed by woodwork.

Hence the presence of a bookcase that can accommodate a large collection of books and art objects. While for the home theater and the veranda, the proposal was more simplicity and less seriousness, as the busiest spots in the apartment, being used by the children’s young friends.

Um antigo “barracão” foi inteiramente reformulado para acomodar a área operacional da empresa automobilística chinesa, recém chegada ao Brasil. A primeira etapa do nosso projeto compreendeu a criação dos escritórios da diretoria, salas de reuniões e de treinamento, todos ambientes definidos por formas orgânicas que favorecem o fluxo de energia. A escolha pode ser facilmente justificada: nos inspiramos no logo da companhia que remete à leveza e fluidez, por isso a ausência de elementos pontiagudos.

An old shed was entirely remodeled to accommodate the operating area of a Chinese auto maker newly arrived in Brazil. The first phase of our project comprised the creation of offices for the board of directors, meeting and training rooms, all settings being defined by organic shapes that favor the flow of energy. The choice is easily justified: we were inspired by the company logo, which conveys lightness and fluidity. Hence the absence of narrow-tipped elements.

Tal interpretação norteou não só a parte interior do projeto, como todo o partido arquitetônico, concebido a partir de premissas da cultura chinesa. Logo na entrada, a recepção denota continuidade e simetria, com divisórias executadas com estruturas de aço e vidro, sobre o qual foram aplicadas películas adesivadas com imagens da frota da marca.

Not only that concept was followed in the internal part of the project, but also in the whole architectural environment that had been conceived from assumptions of the Chinese culture. Right at the entrance to the area, its reception denotes continuity and symmetry.

Tal solução serviu para suavizar a transparência, ao mesmo tempo em que é possível visualizar as salas. Além disso, rasgos sinuosos no forro de gesso embutem a iluminação, estrategicamente criada para tornar o conjunto ainda mais interessante.

That solution served to disguise transparency, while it is possible to see the rooms.

In addition, sinuous grooves in the gypsum ceiling contain the lighting that was strategically created to make the environment more interesting.

Antes de iniciarmos o traçado da primeira sede da empresa fabricante de computadores no Brasil, analisamos todos os projetos da marca, a fim de buscar maior inspiração. O resultado pode ser visto nestes 51 mil m2 de obra, desenvolvida em duas etapas, em parceria com a Stancati Arquitetura e Construções.

Before we began to draw the layout of the first headquarter for this computer manufacturer in Brazil, we assessed all the projects for the brand to find more inspiration. The result can be seen in this 51 thousand square meters of worksite, developed in two phases, in partnership with Stancati Arquitetura e Construções.

Na configuração interna, houve o predomínio de linhas angulares em consonância com o logotipo da marca e com o restante da comunicação visual da empresa.

Desde o balcão da recepção até as paredes das salas, que além dos ângulos em planta, são inclinadas em elevação. Nas cores, o vermelho intenso foi explorado em alguns elementos, em composição com os demais revestimentos dos ambientes, mesclado aos vários tons de cinza, preto e bege do piso amadeirado e do carpete randômico.

In the internal layout angular lines prevailed to harmonize with the brand logotype and the rest of the visual communication of the company. From the front desk to the room walls, which, in addition to angle floor plans, are inclined in elevation. Concerning colors, deep red was employed in some elements, in composition with the remaining coverings of the settings, mixed to the various shades of gray, black and beige of the wooden floor and the random carpet.

O projeto luminotécnico também acentua alguns efeitos propostos pela arquitetura de interiores, a exemplo do forro de gesso que tem rebaixos específicos com iluminação pontual. Já nas áreas de circulação, o efeito indireto da luz traz maior conforto ao ir e vir.

Enquanto no open office uma combinação bem dosada de iluminação direta e indireta evita sombras e torna o ambiente mais produtivo.

Na sala de exposições de produtos, dispusemos as bancadas longilíneas brancas de forma a causar certa ilusão de ótica, graças aos pés de vidro. Ora as peças se estendem em altura de mesa, ora desaparecem no contexto. Na diagonal, em sentido ao piso, conferem movimento e dinamismo ao ambiente estático.

The lighting project also enhances some of the effects proposed by the interior design, as in the case of the gypsum ceiling with specific recesses with punctual lighting. Now in the circulation areas, the indirect lighting effect allows more comfort to the coming and going of people. While in the open office a well dosed mix of direct and indirect lighting prevents shadows and makes the environment more productive.

In the product exhibit room, we laid white elongated stands in so as to cause a certain optical illusion, thanks to their glass legs. Sometimes the items are extended at table height, sometimes they disappear within the context. Diagonally and towards the floor, they confer movement and vitality to the static environment.

Uma das líderes mundiais de defensivos agrícolas, a FMC Brasil nos procurou em busca de uma proposta para sua nova sede de 1.200m². Mais uma vez o projeto seguiu um conceito temático: foi inspirado nas linhas do arado da agricultura.

A worldwide leader in agricultural pesticides, FMC Brasil sought our services to develop a project for its new 1.200m2 headquarter. Once again, the project followed a thematic concept inspired in the lines of an agricultural plow.

Concebidas em plataforma, todas as estações de trabalhos encontram-se dispostas paralelas e em 45 graus , o que garante uma dinâmica diferenciada ao open office.

Outros elementos usados na composição dos ambientes também advém da temática agrária. Os ripados que se repetem em vários momentos, por exemplo, funcionam como divisória entre os espaços, que ainda têm adesivos jateados dispostos de forma descontinuada, com piso vinílico amadeirado para delimitar a circulação.

Designed into a platform, all workstations are laid out parallel and in 45 degrees, to ensure a differentiated dynamic to the open office.

Other elements employed in the composition of the setting also originate from the agricultural theme. The slatted elements are repeated in various instances, for example, they work as a partition between spaces, which also have sanded stickers laid out unevenly, with a wooden vinyl floor to delimit circulation.

Para complementar o projeto de arquitetura que executamos em parceria com a Stancati Arquitetura e Construção para a Cooper – empresa do setor de componentes elétricos e eletrônicos – nossa proposta foi a criação de um escritório colaborativo para acomodar 120 pessoas entre dois pavimentos. A proximidade e entre as áreas administrativa e operacional foi estratégica e uma forma de melhorar a produtividade e qualidade no trabalho.

To complement the architectural design we run in partnership with Stancati Arquitetura e Construção or Cooper - the company of electrical and electronic components industry – we proposed the creation of a collaborative office to accommodate 120 people on two floors. Proximity between the administrative and operating areas was strategic and a way to improve productivity and quality at work.

Na ambientação, mobiliário de cores claras e divisórias de piso teto com vidro duplo e persianas. Implantado em um ângulo diferenciado ao prédio de escritórios, o refeitório é um dos destaques do projeto. O ambiente é propício ao relaxamento e descanso, pois é circundado por espelho d’água e extensa área de proteção ambiental.

In the setting, light colored furniture, floor to ceiling partitions with double glass panes and blinds. Set up in a different angle with respect to the office building, the dining hall is one of the attractions of the project. Its setting encourages relaxation and rest, as it is surrounded by a shallow pool and a large area under environmental protection.

Para contrapor a arquitetura de linhas retas da Bush do Brasil, empresa alemã líder em sistemas de bombas a vácuo, criamos uma marquise em aço que foi adaptada à fachada principal, revestida com grandes panos de vidro. Cheia de subjetividade, e em forma de árvore, a cobertura de 60 m2 funciona tanto como atração estética, quanto de proteção para quem adentra o local.

To contrast the straight lined architecture of Bush do Brasil, a leading German company in vacuum pump systems, we developed a steel marquee that was installed on the main facade, lined with large glass panes. Filled with subjectivity and in the shape of a tree, the 60m2 covering acts as an aesthetic attraction and a shelter to those who enter the building.

Além do elemento metálico externo, nos confiaram a missão de elaborar todo o projeto de interiores da empresa. Visando o bem-estar dos funcionários, mais uma vez, quebramos a rigidez do partido arquitetônico com a criação de um layout dinâmico e descontraído.

In addition to the external metallic element, we were assigned to develop the interior design of the company. Having their employee well-being in mind, once again we broke the austerity of the architectural environment by creating a dynamic and casual layout.

Ao todo são 1.800m2, distribuídos entre três pavimentos de escritórios definidos por traços orgânicos e fluidos. Em linhas gerais, podemos dizer que muita transparência, cores neutras, iluminação indireta e tecnologia, estão presentes por todo o projeto.

Altogether, there are 1,800m2 distributed into three office floors, defined by organic and fluid traces. Generally speaking, we may say that a lot of transparency, neutral colors, indirect lighting and technology are present in the entire project.

É sabido que as empresas ponto com têm necessidades diferentes dos escritórios corporativos tradicionais, pois empregam, na maioria das vezes, pessoas jovens que requerem tecnologia e ambientes estimulantes.

Com base nisso, desenvolvemos as novas instalações da AGV, que oferece serviços de logística pela Internet.

It is known that Ponto companies have different requirements from those of traditional corporate offices, as they hire mostly young people who demand the latest technology and more exciting settings. Having that as a basis, we developed new facilities for AGV, a company that renders logistics services on the web.

A partir de um entendimento de todos os valores da corporação, propusemos a criação de um projeto baseado em conceitos como criatividade e jovialidade. Além de tais princípios inerentes à cultura digital, a brasilidade também se encontra representada por um ícone do transporte nacional: uma Kombi com carroceria transformada em balcão de café. Para complementar a temática, pisos vinílicos remetem ao asfalto de estradas de rodagem, com aplicação de faixas amarelas intermitentes para indicar a saída do escritório. Como acabamento, alguns espaços ainda receberam películas impressas com imagens relativas ao business da empresa.

As soon as we understood all the values of that corporation, we submitted a project based on concepts as creativity and joviality. In addition to the principles underlying the digital culture, our Brasilianity was also represented by an icon of domestic transport: a VW van (Kombi) whose body had been transformed into a coffee counter. To complement the theme, vinyl floors conveyed the pavement of highways, with the application of intermittent yellow stripes leading to the exit of the office. As finishing, a few areas received printed film with images relating to the company business.

A Trimble, empresa de geoprocessamento decidiu que era hora reformular seu antigo conjunto e nos delegou a missão de ampliar a área administrativa de 180m2 para 450m2 , tendo em vista que no local são recebidos profissionais e clientes do mundo inteiro.

Trimble, a geoprocessing company, decided that it was the time to refurbish its old suite and assigned the mission of increasing the administrative area from 180m2 to 450m2 to us, in view of the fact that they receive professionals and clients from all over the world.

To implement the new configuration, we adopted aesthetic simplicity to the solutions to meet the client’s need of having a space to integrate staff, but preserving a few private areas.

In accord with the visual programming of the brand, we chose the colors for the settings, which alternate wooden white and blue vinyl and melamine coverings. In addition to departments segmented by workstations with low screens, the meeting and the management rooms are defined by floor to ceiling partitions, closed by glass and blinds, with the proper acoustic treatment. Those spaces also received multimedia structure.

Para concretizar a nova configuração, partimos de uma simplicidade estética com soluções para atender à necessidade do cliente de ter um espaço que integrasse staff, porém mantivesse algumas áreas privativas.

Em consonância com a programação visual da marca foram determinadas as cores dos ambientes, que alternam materiais de revestimentos vinílicos e melamínicos amadeirado, branco e azul. Além dos departamentos segmentados por estações de trabalho com biombos baixos, as salas de reuniões e da diretoria definem-se por divisórias piso-teto, fechadas por vidro e persianas, com devido tratamento acústico. Esses espaços também receberam estrutura para multimídia.

Este projeto corporativo foi desenvolvido em parceria com a B720 –escritório de arquitetura da Espanha – a pedido da construtora Brookfield. A ideia era criar um conceito novo para os conjuntos comerciais de Campinas.

This corporate project was developed in partnership with B720 - an architecture office in Spain – by request of Construtora Brookfield. The idea was the creation of a new concept for the business suites in Campinas.

O projeto minimalista e arrojado previu certa neutralidade nas ĂĄreas comuns do edifĂ­cio, proporcionada por materiais como o porcelanato na cor Kraft, no mesmo tom que se repete nas paredes para conferir unidade arquitetĂ´nica e estabilidade ao partido.

The minimalist and bold project foresaw a certain neutrality in the common areas of the building, achieved by materials as brown (kraft) porcelanate in the same shade that is repeated on the walls to provide architectural unit and stability to the environment.

Apenas no hall dos elevadores o piso é interrompido por painéis de vidro preto, utilizados como revestimento dos pilares. Sob o teto, lâminas acústicas em vez do tradicional forro de gesso liso formaram uma espécie de composição volumétrica.

Esse mesmo empreendimento compreendeu a existência de várias salas comerciais para diversos usos e necessidades, também projetadas por nosso escritório. De escritórios de advocacia a consultórios médicos, consultórios dentários, bem como agências de publicidade.

Only at the elevator hallway is the floor interrupted by black glass panels that are employed to cover the pillars. Under the ceiling, acoustic blades instead of the traditional smooth gypsum ceiling make a kind of volumetric composition.

This very same enterprise comprised a number of business rooms for various purposes and needs, which were also projected by our office. From law offices to medical consulting rooms, dental consulting rooms to advertising agencies.

Tivemos a liberdade de desenvolver diferentes tipos de layout para distintos segmentos. Mostramos as possibilidades de acabamentos, mobiliário, e todas as facilidades tecnológicas, transformando o projeto em um grande showroom de arquitetura corporativa.

As sugestões de layout foram adotadas para as 76 diferentes unidades do edifício, tendo em vista que cada andar possuía medidas e aberturas distintas.

We had the liberty to develop different types of layout for different segments. We showed the possibilities of finishings, furniture and all technological resources, transforming the project into a large corporate architecture showroom.

Dessa vez o alvo de projeto foi o nosso próprio escritório, que levou pouco mais de dois meses para ser “entregue”. A remodelação da planta foi mais que necessária, à medida que o volume de trabalho aumentou ao longo dos anos. Além da demanda de um número maior de funcionários, havia a necessidade de espaços mais adequados à recepção de clientes.

This time the project was aimed at our own office, which took a little over two months to be “delivered”. Remodeling the layout had become more than necessary as the volume of work increased over the years. In addition to more employees, there was the need to provide more adequate areas to receive clients.

Com a desocupação do conjunto à frente do imóvel, não tivemos dúvida na hora de incorporá-lo. Com o conceito de open space e maior liberdade de projeto, a área de produção teve as paredes demolidas para manter a integração entre a equipe de funcionários. Já a circulação entre as salas deu origem à recepção; na seqüência vem a sala de café, enquanto o outro lado concentra a sala de amostras, sala dos sócios e sala de reuniões.

When the suite opposite our office vacated, we had no second thoughts about incorporating it. According to the open space concept and aiming at greater project freedom, the production area had its walls torn down to preserve the integration throughout the staff. Now circulation from room to room gave rise to the front desk; next comes the coffee room, while the other side houses a sample room, a partner room and a meeting room.

Na área nova a programação visual revela-se com maior intensidade graças à combinação das cores preta, vermelha e cinza. A intenção? Seriedade e ousadia, algumas de nossas características. Um exemplo é a estante para armazenar os diversos materiais de acabamentos apresentados aos clientes.

In the new area the visual design is revealed more intensely, thanks to the combination of black, red and gray. The reason behind it? Seriousness and boldness, which are a few of our characteristics. One example is the bookshelf where various finishing materials shown to clients are kept.

Além das modificações citadas, o projeto de reforma contemplou a substituição dos porcelanatos por piso vinílico de madeira e carpete em alguns espaços. A reforma também incluiu um novo projeto de automatização, possibilitando que tanto a iluminação, quanto o ar condicionado e o fechamento de persianas seja feito à distância, por meio de tablets.

In addition to the changes made, the renewing project included the replacement of porcelanate with wooden vinyl floor and carpet in some areas. The refurbishment also included a new automation project to control the lighting, air conditioning and the opening and closing of blinds by means of tablets.

Estimular a criatividade em um ambiente agradável, descontraído e funcional. Esse era o nosso desafio ao reformular a sala da presidência de uma das maiores agências de publicidade do Brasil. Acrescentamos ao mobiliário existente um toque de ousadia, daí a existência de painéis de vidro no contorno de toda a sala. O objetivo foi ampliar o número de anotações e deixar fluir a criação durante as reuniões com os clientes e equipe.

Em paredes opostas, grandes painéis com grafismos coloridos simbolizam a identidade da empresa. Outro recurso acertado foi a instalação de lâminas de gesso iluminadas por LED, onde se encontram expostos os diversos prêmios conquistados pela empresa. Subjetivamente, aparecem como dica para as próximas metas e projetos apresentados.

Fostering creativity in a pleasant, relaxed and practical. That was our challenge when we refurbished the president’s room of one of the largest advertising agencies in Brazil. We added a touch of boldness to the existing furniture, hence the existence of glass panels in the outline of the entire room. The goal was to increase the number of notes and let the creation flow during client-staff meetings.

On opposite walls, large panels showing colorful graphic design symbolize the company’s identity. Another welcome resource was setting up gypsum plasterboards lighted by LED’s, where the various awards granted to the company are exposed. Subjectively, they appear as hints for the next goals and submitted projects.

Premiado como melhor ambiente da Casa Cor Campinas 2013, o living de 45m2 seria praticamente monocromático não fossem as prateleiras em laca fúcsia e a cômoda verde limão, logo na entrada. As cores entraram como forma de descontração, sem deixar de dialogar com os demais elementos sofisticados, como o papel de parede com leve relevo – aplicado também no teto – e o elegante aparador de mármore, sobre o qual foram dispostas algumas obras da Marchand Sueli Pennone.

Campinas Awarded as Best Environment in 2013, the 45m2 living room would be mostly monochromic had it not been for the shelves in fuchsia lacquer and the chest of drawers in lime green right at the doorstep.

The colors were chosen as a way to relax, without failing to dialog with other sophisticated elements, as the wallpaper with a slight relief – also applied on the ceiling – and the elegant marble sideboard over which some of works of art dealer Sueli Penoni.

O piso foi mantido e recebeu acabamento natural sem brilho para evidenciar seu desenho original. Já o forro de gesso projetado com diferentes níveis recebeu iluminação indireta embutida em um grande “rasgo”.

The floor was preserved to receive a gloss-free finish to enhance its original pattern. Now, the gypsum ceiling that was projected in different levels received indirect lighting built in a large “groove”.

Outro elemento chave na ambientação foi a lareira em mármore Picasso, material novo, importado da Áustria, com desenho marcado e rajadas que se espelhavam para os dois lados. Para acentuar a décor clássica e unificar o espaço, um autêntico tapete Ziegler, importado da Índia.

The Picasso marble fireplace was another key design element, a new material that was imported from Austria, with a marked pattern and gusts of color that spread to both sides. To enhance the classical décor and unify the space, an authentic Ziegler rug, imported from India.

Eleito pelo público como o melhor ambiente da mostra Campinas Decor 2009 e finalista do Prêmio Knauf Gypsum, a sua grande atração foi o tablado com sofá e futon, capaz de acomodar mais de 15 pessoas. A disposição invertida da arquibancada no espaço, ao contrário dos projetos mais convencionais, também chamou a atenção dos visitantes.

Elected the best Campinas Decor 2009 setting of the exhibit by the public and a runner-up in the Knauf Gypsum Award, its main attraction was its platform with a sofa and a futon mattress that accommodated more than 15 people. The inverted layout of the stand, drew the attention of visitors.

A solução evitou que um usuário atrapalhasse a visão do outro. Tudo minuciosamente pensado para se obter o máximo de conforto e praticidade, por isso os profissionais ainda desenharam um móvel, uma espécie de bancada de apoio a petiscos e bebidas, ao redor do sofá.

The solution prevented users from obstructing the vision of other people. Everything was analyzed in minute detail to achieve maximum comfort and convenience, for this reason, they also designed a piece of furniture, a type of stand for snacks and drinks around the sofa.

Como um projeto aperfeiçoa todas as características do espaço e seu uso proposto, novos materiais e tecnologia de ponta não poderiam ficar de fora do ambiente.

A marcenaria, por exemplo, foi executada em MDF couro (madeira que lembra o couro). Além disso, por meio de recursos de automação, a tela anti-reflexo de 92 polegadas, a iluminação, o áudio, o ar-condicionado e as persianas eram ajustadas através de um único controle remoto. Nichos de gesso e painéis de madeira também criaram formas acústicas que harmonizaram o ambiente.

As a project actually improves all characteristics of space and their intended use, new materials and state-of-the-art technology cannot not be left out. For example, the joinery and carpentry was executed in MDF artificial leather (a type of wood that resembles leather). In addition, thanks to automation, the 92-inch antireflective screen, the lighting, the audio, the air conditioning and the blinds could be adjusted by a single remote control device. Plaster niches and wooden panels also created acoustic shapes that harmonized the setting.

Três pórticos de gesso entrelaçados, revestidos com papel de parede, deram suporte à iluminação e potencializaram a sensação de aconchego no Home Cinema, primeiro lugar em votação pública. Estrategicamente projetado em dois níveis, o ambiente esbanjava conforto durante a sessão de pipoca em casa, como em uma sala de cinema tradicional.

Three wallpaper lined, interweaved gypsum portals, supported the lighting and enhanced the feeling of coziness of the Home Cinema, first place public vote. Strategically designed in two levels, the setting was all comfort during the popcorn session at home, as in a traditional theater room.

O amplo sofá de sete metros de comprimento foi projetado para acomodar até 12 pessoas sentadas confortavelmente. Na primeira fileira, peças de design: cinco poltronas Charles Eames acompanhadas de pequenas mesas de acrílico para apoio de petiscos, desenhadas por nós exclusivamente para esse ambiente. O carpete do Beaulieu trouxe sofisticação e conforto ao espaço, além de ajudar na eficiência acústica.

The large couch was designed to seat up to 12 people comfortably. In the front row, design items: five Charles Eames armchairs and small tables in acrylic for snacks, which we designed exclusively for this setting. The Beaulieu carpet added sophistication and comfort and enhanced acoustics.

A tela de projeção de 133 polegadas também se tornou um atrativo. O modelo escolhido manteve uma superfície com foco homogêneo, mesmo quando o expectador assistisse a filmes em formato IMAX ou 2.35:1. Em termos de cores, a combinação de preto, café e dourado enfatizou o perfil contemporâneo do projeto.

The 133-inch projection screen also became an attraction. The model we chose kept a uniform surface focus, even when a person watched a movie in the IMAX or 2.35:1. format. In terms of colors, the combination of black, dark coffee and golden emphasized the contemporary profile of the project.

Quando fomos convidados para projetar o Loft Nova York, da Campinas Decor 2011, o que mais nos chamou a atenção foi a “história” criada para o espaço: de uma brasileira, que mora nos Estados Unidos e trabalha na bolsa de valores. Lançado o desafio, decidimos criar um espaço com estilo low profile, bem característico do Soho, onde lofts e studios são reformados a partir de antigos galpões.

When we were invited to design the New York Loft of Campinas Decor 2011, what most caught our attention was the story created for that space – of a Brazilian woman who lives in the United States and works at the stock market. Taking on the challenge, we decided to create a space of a low profile style, typical of Soho where old storage lofts are remodeled into modern lofts and studios.

Os materiais adotados foram vidro, aço cromado e carbono , além de espelhos em contraste com o piso de madeira bruta, original da Estação Cultura (local de realização do evento), que passou por leve restauro.

We adopted the following materials: glass, chromium coated and carbon steel, in addition to mirrors that contrasted with the raw timber floor -- originally from Estação Cultura (the location the event was held) –, which underwent a minor restoration.

Com cerca de 200m2, o projeto que recebeu o segundo lugar em votação pública, se dividiu em sete ambientes distintos: hall de entrada, living, sala de jantar, cozinha, escritório, closet e sala de banho. Apesar de terem funções diferentes, os cômodos permaneceram integrados sem comprometer a privacidade das áreas reservadas.

Having approximately 200m2, the project, received second place public vote, was split into seven different settings: lobby, living room, dining room, kitchen, closet and bathroom. Despite their different functions, the rooms remained integrated without compromising the privacy of the reserved areas.

Por se tratar de um espaço amplo e com pé-direito alto, fizemos questão de tirar partido dessas características, por isso a disposição de poucos móveis e com grandes dimensões, como por exemplo, a presença de um sofá de 5 metros. No banheiro, a composição entre o moderno e o clássico reforçou o ar contemporâneo. O quarto refletia o ar cosmopolita da “moradora fictícia”.

As it was a spacious location of triple height ceiling, we wanted to take advantage of its properties by having just a few pieces of large dimension furniture, as for example a 5 meter long sofa. In the bathroom, the composition of modern and classic contemporary reinforced air. The room reflected the cosmopolitan air of “fictitious resident”.

Somos aficionados por novas tecnologias e, na medida do possível, procuramos empregá-las nos projetos. Mas aqui, abusamos dos recursos. Tudo era controlado remotamente por tablet ou celular, desde a posição das persianas, ao som, o vídeo, até mesmo a segurança. Em nosso entender, na vida real, os benefícios da automação são inúmeros, pois permitem total conexão entre a casa e o escritório.

O projeto de iluminação também foi pensado para criar efeitos distintos, conforme o ambiente.

We are big fans of new technologies and make an effort to use them in our projects wherever possible. But in this case, we somewhat abused the resources. Everything was remotely controlled by tablet or cell phone, from the blinds to the audio, video and even the safety resources.

We understand that automation in real life can bring lots of benefits as they allow complete connection between a home and an office. The lighting project was also designed to create different effects, according to the setting.

Uma antiga estufa, tombada pelo patrimônio histórico de Campinas, abrigou o Loft da Celebridade, durante a Campinas Decor 2010. A personalidade homenageada por nós foi a atriz Cláudia Raia. A proposta foi criar um refúgio, onde ela pudesse ter seu momento de relaxamento e concentração antes de entrar em cena.

An old greenhouse -- landmarked by the Campinas Council for the Protection of Historical, Archaeological, Artistic and Touristic Heritage – housed the Celebrity Loft, during the Campinas Decor 2010 exhibit. We decided to pay homage to actress Cláudia Raia. The proposal was to create a haven where she could have her moments of relaxation and concentration before going on stage.

Com 84m2, o projeto pretendia criar ambientes centralizados (cozinha de apoio, living, quarto, escritório, banho e closet), porém que dessem a sensação de continuidade e liberdade de movimentos. A decoração mesclou as cores âmbar, dourado, branco, cru e marrom, em referência ao tom da oxidação natural da estrutura sobre o telhado de vidro.

The 84m2 project intended to create centralized settings (support kitchen, living room, bedroom, office, bathroom and closet), that would lend a feeling of continuity and freedom of movement. The decoration blended colors as amber, golden, white, raw and brown, in reference to the natural oxidation of the structure over the glass roof.

Os móveis exclusivos promoveram a interação entre linhas retas e puras com objetos de formas orgânicas, confeccionados em madeira, com acabamento em laca, seda, vidro e mármore nacarado.

The exclusive furniture promoted an interaction between straight and pure lines with wooden made organically shaped objects, with a finish in lacquer, silk, glass and pearled marble.

Um ambiente feminino que também revelou boa dose de ousadia, como as almofadas em zebra dourada e a escrivaninha xerife em laca cobre, ambas desenvolvidas por nosso escritório.

Outras soluções inteligentes também puderam ser vistas, como a elevação do piso insuflado com ar-condicionado, persianas romanas nas laterais e no teto das áreas preservadas, banheira com borda infinita e uma TV, que percorria em trilho todo o espaço.

A womanly setting that also revealed a lot of boldness, such as golden zebra cushions and a “sheriff’s” desk in coppered lacquer, both of them developed in our office.

Other intelligent solutions could also be seen, as the raising of the air conditioned floor, Roman blinds on the sides and ceiling of the reserved areas, a bathtub with a negative edge and a TV set that could move on rail all over the setting.

Uma área de 77m² foi dividida em dois ambientes integrados, onde a loja se mesclou à cozinha e ao jantar. No espaço da loja, as marcas comercializadas pela MABE, permaneceram setorizadas de maneira que cada uma tivesse seu espaço distinto. Para a Cont One, lançada oficialmente na mostra, criamos um paredão de quase cinco metros, repleto de equipamentos. Geladeiras, fornos, microondas, dispostos até o alto onde a automação integrada apontava por meio de foco de luz o produto selecionado no tablet.

We divided a 77m2 area into two integrated sections, where the shop was merged with the kitchen and the dining space. In the shop space, the brands marketed by MABE remained separated so each one of them would have its own differentiated space. For Cont One, which was officially introduced in the exhibit, we created a large wall of almost five meters to display plenty of equipment: refrigerators, regular and microwave ovens placed up to the top of the wall, where integrated automation used a beam of light to point at the product selected on a tablet.

Em outros “módulos caixas”, três minicozinhas exibiam os produtos das marcas Gourmet Station, GE Imagination e Continental. Separada por uma mesa/pórtico de atendimento, ficava a cozinha gourmet. Nesse ambiente, uma parede revestida por epóxi concentrou todos os equipamentos embutidos e algumas portas e gavetas camufladas com o mesmo acabamento. Outro destaque foi o rasgo horizontal de canto, onde ervas e temperos permaneciam à mão na hora de preparar os pratos. Já na ilha gourmet, a bancada de quartzo em tom chumbo, abrigou o coocktop e os dominós para barbecue e indução. A cuba, em grande formato, foi para garantir praticidade.

In other “box-modules”, three minikitchens displayed Gourmet Station, GE Imagination and Continental products. The gourmet kitchen was separated by a service table/portal. In that setting, an expoxy painted wall concentrated all built in appliances, and a few hidden doors and drawers with the same finish. The horizontal corner groove was another highlight, where herbs and seasonings were always kept at hand when cooking. On the other hand, on the gourmet island, the quartz stand in shades of lead housed the cooktop and the dominoes for barbecueing and heating. The large-sized sink ensured convenience.

No espaço da sala de jantar, duas mesas quadradas com tampo de vidro e base de tronco de árvore acomodavam até 12 pessoas. As cadeiras medalhão enobreceram o clima, reforçado pela pintura prata envelhecida e pelo tecido numa linha “Missoni inspired”. Sobre as mesas, dois lustres em malha metálica e resina, criaram uma atmosfera de outono, remetendo à queda das folhas.

In the dining room area, two glass-top square tables with a tree trunk base seated up to 12 people. The medallion chairs and their “Missoni inspired” lining added nobility to the aged silver painted setting. Two wire-mesh and resin chandeliers on the tables created an autumn atmosphere by conveying falling leaves.

Elaborado para a Campinas Decor 2007, este projeto ainda é lembrado por aqueles visitantes assíduos da mostra. Motivos? A simplicidade de sua linguagem, visto a inspiração ter sido uma garagem de verdade. Com base nisso, transformamos a área de 45m2 em um espaço multifuncional onde se guardam não apenas automóveis, mas bicicletas, equipamentos esportivos, bem como todas as ferramentas do carro ou utilizadas em pequenos reparos domésticos.

Developed for the Campinas Decor 2007 exhibit, this project is best remembered by frequent visitors. Reasons? The simplicity of its language, as it was inspired in a real garage. Having that as a basis, we transformed a 45m2 area into a multipurpose space not only to keep automobiles, but bicycles, sporting equipment and car tools or those used in minor household repairs.

Além da configuração original, como banquetas e luminárias criadas a partir de pneus, o ambiente chamou a atenção pelos conceitos inerentes à boa arquitetura. A sustentabilidade e o uso de materiais ecologicamente corretos estiveram ali representados, sendo os principais alvos. Entre os materiais predominantes, adotaramse piso fabricado com aparas de pneus, revestimento de parede com limalhas de ferro recicladas, parede de taipa, bancadas executadas com madeira certificada de reflorestamento, além de um forro de gesso mineral, com propriedade capaz de neutralizar os efeitos do monóxido de carbono. O projeto foi finalista do Prêmio Planeta Casa.

In addition to the original setting as stools and lighting fixtures made from tires, the space drew attention because of its good architecture concepts. Sustainability and the use of environment friendly materials were represented there as our main goals. Among the prevailing materials, we adopted a floor made from tire scraps, wall lining in recycled iron swarf, adobe walls, stands made from certified wood, in addition to a mineral gypsum ceiling that was capable of neutralizing the effects of carbon monoxide. LIVING E SALA DE JANTAR - MAC MOVEIS 2012

Muitos componentes sofisticados numa paleta de cores que se alternava do bege, ao nude até chegar ao branco, tendo-se em vista que a neutralidade deveria ser o foco do ambiente. Essa é a sensação que fica ao observarem-se as imagens deste espaço de 30m2, criado por nós para a mostra realizada na Mac Moveis, em 2013. O ar de aconchego vinha com os sofás e poltronas em madeira maciça, revestidos por tecido e almofadas em linho branco.

A large number of sophisticated components on a color palette that ranged from beige to nude before becoming white, because neutrality should be the keynote to that setting. That is the feeling one gets when observing the images of this 30m2 space we created for the Mac Móveis 2013 exhibit. Sofas and armchairs in solid wood, lined with futons and white linen cushions added a cozy touch.

Em vez de uma única mesa central, variados modelos de banquinhos dispostos de maneira assimétrica e desconectada, solução que tornou o espaço mais despojado e casual. Em um canto à parte, porém interconectado ao estar, uma mesa de jantar com tampo branco foi rodeada por cadeiras de madeira maciça e tela náutica. Luminárias e cortinas brancas complementavam a equação.

O toque de ousadia aparece na trama ‘’explodida” sobre as paredes, em continuidade ao forro. A ideia era fazer uma alusão às fibras utilizadas pela empresa, o que conferiu essa identidade “oversize” ao projeto, como se fosse um ninho de tramas.

Instead of a single center table, a variety of stool models placed in an asymmetrical and disconnected fashion; a solution that gave the space a more unpretentious and casual look. In a separate corner, but interconnected to the living room, a dining table with a white top was surrounded by chairs in solid wood and sailing screen. Lighting fixtures and white curtains complemented the equation.

The touch of boldness can be seen in the “exploded” texture on the walls, going up to the ceiling. The idea was to make reference to the fibers the company used, which gave an oversized identity to the project, as it were a nest of textures.

Na época, chegamos à conclusão que Antônia Maria Zogaeb, cerimonialista e grande produtora de eventos de Campinas, merecia nossa reverência.

This project was part of the exhibit of the Quartos Etc. shop in 2011. The decoration theme was to be inspired in a significant professional or activity. At that time we arrived at the conclusion that Antônia Maria Zogaeb, a ceremonialist and an important event producer in Campinas should be the subject of our reverence.

Conhecemos Antônia Maria Zoageb nas inúmeras festas em que ela organizou e cerimoniou. Sofisticada na maneira de ser e de viver, ela sempre esbanjou simpatia e alegria. E foram estas características que procuramos traduzir na decoração do ambiente. Clássico e tradicional, porém, leve e alegre. Sobre uma base branca e nude, o tom azul sereno aparece nos enxovais e cortinas. O papel de parede rendado também tornou as paredes mais elegantes junto ao grande lustre de cristal âmbar.

We met Antônia Maria Zogaeb at one of the many parties she organized and acted as master of ceremonies. A sophisticated person in her way of being and living, she has always been all charm, friendliness and joy. And those were the traits we tried to convey in that interior design. Classical and traditional, but light and joyful. The serene blue tone appears in household linen and clothing as well as in curtains over a white nude base. The lacy wallpaper also lends more elegance to the walls near the large amber crystal chandelier.

Recebemos a encomenda de recuperar o partido arquitetônico de um antigo edifício localizado no bairro Cambuí, em Campinas. Erguida em meados dos anos 80, a construção de aproximadamente 2.800 m2 encontra-se bastante deteriorada e desatualizada para os padrões corporativos de hoje.

We were assigned to recover the architectural environment of an old building located in the Cambuí area in Campinas. Built in the mid-eighties, the construction of approximately 2,800m2 is rather run-down and outdated with respect to current corporate standards.

Ainda em andamento, nosso projeto compreende o retrofit das áreas internas e remodelação externa, para que o prédio se torne referência na região.

Sobre a fachada original será instalada uma grelha metálica (em aço) acompanhada por um sistema de iluminação com fitas LED. Além de funcional, o recurso deverá imprimir um caráter contemporâneo à edificação.

Still in progress, our project includes retrofitting of internal areas and external remodeling for the building to become a landmark in that area. A metal grid (steel) will be installed over the original facade, together with an LED tape lighting system. In addition to being practical, the resource will add a contemporary look to the building.

De planta angular, o edifício é composto por seis andares comerciais. Atendendo também à legislação que rege os gabaritos da região, no térreo antes fechado, agora haverá um café. Uma forma de requalificar ainda mais o empreendimento e também o entorno.

Having an angular plan, the building is composed of six commercial floors, in conformity with the law that regulates the patterns in that area, the ground floor which was formerly closed, now will house a café as a way to further requalify the undertaking and its surroundings.

Em uma área de 92 mil m2 recoberta pelo verde, em Porto Feliz, interior de São Paulo, projetamos a nova sede da Cooper – fabricante de componentes eletrônicos. Ao todo, são 27 mil m2 de construção, pontuada por amplas aberturas e grandes recuos. Este é mais um trabalho em parceria com a Stancati Arquitetura e Construções.

Em busca da funcionalidade, mas sem deixar de lado o conforto estético, propusemos a criação de um partido arquitetônico com o uso de um sistema construtivo misto: pré-moldados de concreto junto a estruturas metálicas. O conjunto composto por três volumes retangulares recebeu grandes esquadrias fechadas por vidro. Esse fechamento acompanha o percurso do jardim e espelho d’água, em um dos blocos, permitindo a entrada do verde e também de luz natural nos ambientes. Não por acaso, tudo foi pensado para proporcionar melhores condições de trabalho quando se pensa em pessoas confinadas por horas dentro de uma fábrica.

In an area comprising 92 thousand square meters of vegetation, in Porto Feliz, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, we developed a project for to headquarter Cooper, a manufacturer of electronic components. Altogether there are 27 thousand square meters of construction punctuated by large openings and recesses. This assignment was conduct in partnership with Stancati Arquitetura e Construções.

Seeking functionality, but also taking the aesthetic comfort into account, we proposed the creation of an architectural environment using a mixed construction system: precast concrete elements and metal structures. The set that was composed of three rectangular volumes received large-sized window frames closed by glass. That closing follows the garden path and the shallow pool in one of the blocks, allowing the vegetation and natural lighting to enter the settings. It was not by chance, everything was assessed to provide the best work environment for people confined in a factory for many hours.

Imprimimos características específicas a esta obra executada em um sistema “Built to Suit” (contrato de locação no qual o locatário encomenda a construção do imóvel para atender às suas necessidades).

O contratante foi a dinamarquesa Danfoss, fabricante de controles eletromecânicos, eletrônicos e de soluções de sistemas para indústrias de refrigeração.

Após um estudo de viabilidade do terreno, a escolha foi para uma área 20 mil2, onde então foi instalada a fábrica de 13 mil m2. Todo o projeto foi desenvolvido com placas pré-moldadas in loco, chamadas de tilt-up. Com um movimento orgânico, criamos duas curvas convexas e uma côncava, entrelaçadas, sendo os primeiros painéis curvos executados na América Latina. Esse projeto foi desenvolvido em parceria com a Stancati Arquitetura e Construções.

We added specific characteristics to this work which was executed in a “Built to Suit” format (a lease agreement by which the tenant orders the construction of a building that meets his or her needs). The contracting party was Danfoss, a Danish manufacturer of electromechanical and electronic controls as well as system solutions for the refrigeration industry.

After conducting a viability study of the land, we chose an area of 20 thousand m2 to set up the factory, which comprised 13 thousand m2. The whole project was developed with pre-cast slabs in loco, known as tilt-up. By means of an organic movement, we created two interconnected curves -- a convex and a concave --, that were the first curved panels in Latin America. This project was developed in partnership with Stancati Arquitetura e Construções.

EDIFÍCIO SERR A DO JAPI

Atender a um público jovem ou a recém-casados. Este foi o script inicial do projeto, localizado em bairro nobre de Campinas. O edifício multifamiliar deverá abrigar quatro apartamentos por andar, com 79 m2 cada, sendo a cobertura de 129 m2. Sobre a fachada principal foi desenhada uma empena metálica, elemento que traz sombreamento à varanda gourmet e à área churrasqueira.

Para as unidades adotamos o conceito de áreas comuns integradas, com a possibilidade de ainda transformar um dos dormitórios em estar ampliado.

Ventilação cruzada e iluminação natural complementam o conceito de arquitetura do empreendimento.

Catering to young people or newlyweds. That was the initial script for this project located in an upmarket neighborhood of Campinas. The multifamily building should house four apartments measuring 79m2 on each floor and a penthouse apartment of 129m2. Over the main facade a metal gable was designed to provide shade to the gourmet veranda and the barbecue area. For each unit, we adopted the integrated common area concept, making it further possible to transform one of the rooms into part of the living. Crossed ventilation and natural lighting complement the good architecture concept of the undertaking.

Participar de uma obra comercial é, sem dúvida, uma experiência enriquecedora. Ainda mais quando se trata de um ambiente, cuja função é simular situações do cotidiano doméstico. Essa foi nossa missão neste projeto da nova loja da Maison La Poltrona, em Campinas.

Participating in a commercial work is, no doubt, an enriching experience, especially in the case of an environment that is intended to simulate the day to day activities of a household. That was our assignment in this project for the new Maison La Poltrona store in Campinas.

O resultado pode ser visto nestas imagens do living, jantar, espaço gourmet e cozinha funcional. Todos ambientes encontram-se integrados e simulam a situação real de uma casa.

The result can be seen in these pictures of the living room, dining room, gourmet space and a functional kitchen. All the setting are integrated and simulate a real situation in a household.

Na decoração misturamos os estilos clássico e contemporâneo. Basta um olhar atento para algumas relíquias, como a bombê preta e o lustre com arandelas de cristal na sala de jantar.

As peças ganharam releitura atual e acolhedora ao serem dispostas ao lado espaço gourmet – equipado com aparelhos de última geração que dão um toque de modernidade à ambientação. Tudo como em uma autentica Maison parisiense.

In the interior design, we combined classical and contemporary styles. A glance at some relics, as the two black bombé desks and the chandelier with crystal sconces in the dining room. The items were given a current and cozy look being laid out next to the gourmet space – equipped with the latest generation gadgets, which lend a look of modernity to the environment. Everything as an authentic Parisian Maison.

ATTUALI O importante neste projeto era criar um espaço onde clientes finais e profissionais pudessem ser bem atendidos em suas especificações.

Através de um projeto clean, com uso de materiais refinados, o espaço que antes abrigava um restaurante ganhou ar contemporâneo. Foi necessário adaptar a arquitetura dessa construção de 270m² para um ambiente amplo onde as peças são expostas para todos os públicos, mas com atendimento a profissionais de forma mais reservada.

O primeiro passo foi a criação de uma fachada reta minimalista, com revestimento de concreto, réguas de madeira e cobertura em estrutura metálica e vidro. Mantendo a estética, a parte interna teve piso todo revestido de concreto, unificando os ambientes e ampliando a loja.

In this project, it was important to create an area where end customers and professionals could have their specifications met adequately. By means of a clean project and the use of refined materials, we could give a contemporary appearance to the area that used to be a restaurant. We had to adapt the architecture of that 270m2 building to a spacious setting where its items are exposed to all types of people, but service professionals in a more reserved location.

The first step was the creation of a straight and minimal facade, with concrete covering, wooden boards and roof in a metal and glass structure. To keep the visual aesthetics, the indoor area had its floor covered with concrete, unifying the settings and enlarging the store.

Com uma iluminação adequada, espaços amplos e integrados, os produtos foram valorizados. Na parte reservada para profissionais, o piso acarpetado, criado pelos arquitetos, garante o conforto acústico e sugere movimento através do desenho. Com uma iluminação diferenciada e indireta, foram criados rasgos de luz alongando a percepção ótima da loja.

As luminárias verticais, que tiram partido da estrutura metálica do grande vão aberto, criam uma atmosfera única e trazem ainda mais luz para o ambiente.

Os móveis de marcenaria foram todos desenhados pelos arquitetos e executados sob medida para suas funções e necessidades.

Completando o projeto foram utilizados forro de gesso, mobiliários de madeira natural e brancos, papeis de parede variados e painéis de madeira.

Um detalhe que merece destaque é o papel de parede preto com strass que envolve a empena estrutural da casa.

Adequate lighting, spacious and integrated areas to enhance the products.

In the area reserved for professionals, the carpeted floor created by the architects ensures acoustic comfort, and its motif suggests movement. Differentiated and indirect lighting created strokes of light that increased the optimum perception of the store. Vertical lighting fixtures that take advantage of the metal structure of the large freestanding space, create a unique atmosphere and bring further lighting to the environment. The customized pieces of furniture were all designed by the architects, executed and made to measure to meet requirements and needs.

The project was concluded by using a gypsum ceiling, natural wood and white furnishings, assorted wallpapers and wooden panels. A detail that deserves attention is the black wallpaper with rhinestone, which covers the structural gable of the house.

Se a beleza é mesmo uma questão de estado de espírito, não há como não se sentir bem e belo nesta unidade da A.Fatto, salão de beleza e boutique, projetado por nosso escritório. A ambiência com características funcionais e lúdicas contraria a velha máxima para esse tipo de local, que, em geral, prioriza a assepsia do branco total. Adotamos exatamente o oposto: pinceladas de cores escuras e fortes, como o preto, o amarelo e o turquesa sobre uma base branca e cinza claro.

Como se tratava da reforma de um imóvel antigo, mesclamos ainda peças com linguagem vintage. O objetivo foi trazer um pouco do mundo da moda para o salão. E principalmente, revelar a contemporaneidade do espaço, uma característica dos proprietários, antenados aos novos tratamentos estéticos e a tudo o que se refere ao bem-estar humano. arquitetura comerCIAL // comerCIAL ARCHITECTURE

If beauty is in fact a matter of state of mind, it is impossible not to feel well and beautiful in this A.Fatto, beauty salon and boutique unit designed by ouor office.

The ambience of practical and recreational characteristics contradicts the old adage for this type of place, which, generally speaking, prioritizes the asepsis of total white. We adopted just the opposite: strokes of dark and strong colors, as black, yellow and turquoise on a white and light gray base.

As we were dealing with the remodeling of an old property, we also mixed vintage items to bring out a little of the world of fashion to the salon. And chiefly reveal the contemporaneity of that space, a trait of the owners who are attuned to new cosmetic treatment and everything that concerns human well-being.

Na sala de corte, as cadeiras encontram-se dispostas lado a lado em seqüência, como tradicionalmente é feito nos salões. Já a chaise long de couro preta, divide o ambiente da sala de espera e recepção, mantendo ainda a integração entre os espaços. Na iluminação, um ar cênico é dado pelos trilhos embutidos em rasgos no gesso pintados de preto. Porém, a uniformidade é proporcionada pela iluminação geral, que evita sombras e distorção de cores.

In the cutting room, the chairs are laid out side by side and in sequence, as beauty salons usually do.

Now the chaise longue in black leather, divides the waiting room and the reception area, keeping all spaces integrated. In terms of lighting, a scenic atmosphere is provided by the rails built in grooves in the gypsum, painted black. But lighting uniformity is provided by the overall lighting to eliminate shadows and color distortion.

Os lavatórios, anatômicos, foram desalinhados para facilitar a circulação e quebrar a monotonia. Ao fundo grandes armários armazenam todos os produtos utilizados nos tratamentos, com uma janela em forma de rasgo horizontal, que garante luz natural ao ambiente. Na fachada, o preto total junto ao dourado do logo e ao brutalismo do reboco rústico, garantem a elegância da marca.

The anatomic washing stands were not in alignment to facilitate circulation and break the monotony. In the back large cabinets store all the products used in cosmetic treatments and a horizontal groove-shaped window that ensures natural lighting to the settings. On the facade, full black next to the golden color of the logotype and the brutalism of rustic plastering guarantee the refinement of the brand.

Neste projeto desenvolvido para o restaurante Giovanetti da Casa Cor Campinas 2012 priorizamos os estímulos sensoriais. O objetivo era trazer a natureza para dentro do espaço – uma forma de proporcionar tranquilidade durante as refeições. Na paleta de cores, vários tons de terra, com um leve toque de dourado e bordô, em harmonia com as cores do ladrilho hidráulico pré-existente e restaurado especialmente para a ocasião.

In this project developed for Restaurante Giovanetti of Casa Cor Campinas, 2012, we prioritized sensory stimulation. Our goal was to bring nature into that space as a way of ensuring peace and calmness during meals. On the color palette, various earth shades with a slight touch of golden and burgundy, to harmonize with the colors of preexistent hydraulic tiles, especially restored for the occasion.

A iluminação cênica e alguns acabamentos também atraíram olhares. No forro uma grande moldura de canto, por exemplo, foi revestida com adesivo arquitetural, além de ocultar as luminárias criou um efeito de luz difusa. O bar também se destacou por exibir soluções diferenciadas. Nesse canto, indicamos uma superfície em tela tensionada brilhante, em um tom de café com leite, que serviu para exaltar o paisagismo.

Outra sugestão foi a instalação de uma tela tensionada no espaço, inteiramente iluminada, com imagem de uma silhueta de árvore. A intenção era proporcionar a sensação de pôr do sol no horizonte. Esse mesmo efeito de luz se repetiu no pórtico iluminado que separava o bar da área das mesas.

O projeto foi premiado pela Casa Cor Campinas 2012.

Its scenic light and some finishing items also deserved attention. On the ceiling a large corner frame, for example, was lined with architectural adhesive, which, in addition to disguising the lighting fixtures, created a diffused lighting effect. The bar also stood out for its unique solutions. In that corner, we indicate a surface bright tensioned screen, in a tone of latte, which served to exalt the landscaping.

Another suggestion was the installation of a stretched screen, totally lighted with the image of a silhouette of a tree. We intended to create a feeling of a sunset on the horizon. Podemos dizer que este foi um projeto de encher os olhos. Mesmo depois de quase cinco anos de elaboração, ele ainda permanece atual. Trata-se do Pavilhão do Chef, elaborado para a Casa Cor Campinas 2009. Ao todo foram 130m2 de ambientação adequada aos visitantes e também aos convidados que passaram pelo local durante os eventos gourmet ocorridos no período da mostra.

We could say this was a feast for the eyes. It is still current even after nearly five years of its creation. WE are talking about Pavilhão do Chef, created for Casa Cor Campinas, 2009. Altogether there were 130m2 of adequate settings for visitors and guests who came to the place at the time the gourmet events took place during the exhibit.

Os materiais mais usados foram a madeira (certificada), em toda a fachada, oferecendo uma proximidade ainda maior com o meio ambiente. Para nós, o elemento é extremamente sustentável, desde que extraído corretamente, e reposto nas mesmas proporções. Como o pavilhão ficava abaixo da copa das árvores, para garantir a integração entre os espaços, optamos pelo uso de transparências.

O teto, por exemplo, foi executado em lona cristal. Assim, à medida que flores e folhas caiam sobre o teto causavam um efeito encantador aos olhos de quem observava internamente. Cortinas de água também circundaram a construção, trazendo frescor e vida ao ambiente, em contraponto ao fogareiro externo no deck.

Na ocasião, o espaço que nos foi reservado estava inserido em meio à vegetação natural e aos jardins de Burle Marx. Por isso, a inspiração não poderia deixar de ser a própria natureza. A integração total entre as áreas externa e interna norteou a criação de um partido com formas orgânicas (curvas), desprendido da rigidez das linhas retas.

On that occasion, the area that had been reserved was surrounded by natural vegetation and Burle Marx gardens. For that reason, the inspiration could not be any other than nature itself. Full integration between the external and internal areas guided the creation of an environment of organic shapes (curves), detached from the strictness of straight lines.

The most used materials were certified wood on the entire facade, to give rise to an even closer proximity with the environment. To us, that element is quite sustainable, as long as it is extracted correctly and replaced in the same proportions. As the pavilion was below the treetops, to ensure integration between the spaces, we decided to use transparent materials. The ceiling, for example, was made in transparent canvas. So, leaves and flowers falling on the canvas caused an enchanting effect on those who were looking at them from the inside. Water curtains also surrounded the site, bringing freshness and life to the setting, in contrast with an outside stove on the deck.

Por se tratar de um ambiente voltado ao preparo rápido dos pratos, a funcionalidade foi outro ponto forte. Como o balcão curvo, executado em MDF de madeira bruta. Em vez de portas tradicionais, para que se tornasse mais prático, recebeu um sistema de abertura de enrolar, numa releitura das antigas escrivaninhas.

As the setting was intended to prepare fast food, functionality was another key point. As a curved counter made from MDF boards of raw wood. Instead of traditional doors, the area received a rolling opening system, as inspired by old roll top desks.

Assim como os demais componentes, a iluminação exerceu papel fundamental ao projeto. Sobre as mesas, a luz pontual definida por pendentes com grandes dimensões conferiu um ar ainda mais intimista ao espaço. Para complementar, pontos de luz no piso destacaram a estrutura de madeira e as copas das árvores.

Similarly to other components, lighting had a key role in the project. Over the tables, punctual lighting from large-sized pendent lamps lent further intimacy to the place. To complete the project, lighting points on the floor enhanced the wooden structure and the treetops.

O novo estúdio do Pop Station, apresentado pelo grande amigo Douglas Mann, foi criado em comemoração aos 10 anos de sucesso do programa semanal. Para chegar a este cenário atemporal e mutante, nos valemos de alguns recursos tecnológicos. Com linhas retas e contemporâneas as cores da ambientação advêm do uso de fitas de LED RGB automatizadas. De maneira que as diversas nuances surgem para exaltar emoções ou sensações, conforme o momento da entrevista ou matéria exibida.

The new Pop Station studio, presented by our dear friend Douglas Mann, was created to celebrate the 10 years of success of his weekly show. To arrive at this timeless and mutating scenario, we resorted to a few technological resources. Having straight and contemporary lines the colors of the setting are created by LED RGB automated tape lighting, so an assorted number of nuances may arise to magnify emotions or feelings, according to the moment of an exhibited interview or article.

Ao assumir a missão de reformar duas pequenas salas comerciais, localizadas em um prédio na Avenida Paulista, em São Paulo, tínhamos certas duas premissas. Primeiro era preciso transformar espaços distintos em um único showroom de semijóias da marca Terra Fogo. Outra solicitação era de que o layout se tornasse propício para receber lojistas vips, atendidos no local com hora marcada.

Por se tratar de produtos exclusivamente femininos, a sofisticação foi muito explorada e norteou as definições de materiais e cores, com predomínio do branco, rosé e nude. Para conferir amplitude e leveza à sala, criamos uma mesa inteiramente em vidro.

When we accepted the assignment to remodel two small business rooms located in a building on Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, we had two assumptions as certain. First, we would have to join different spaces into a single showroom of semiprecious jewelry of the Terra Fogo brand. The second request was to create an adequate layout to receive VIP shop owners, who would be assisted at that place by appointment.

As the products in question were exclusively feminine, sophistication was deeply explored and guided the choices of materials and colors, with predominance of white, rosé and nude. To lend spaciousness and lightness to the room, we created a table entirely from glass

Como solução arquitetônica, o gesso teve der ser rebaixado para encobrir a viga entre as salas, onde ainda existem rasgos de luz, em contraponto aos lustres clássicos de cristais. Sobre as paredes, papeis florais com suaves relevos voltam a enfatizar o caráter feminino do local. Para complementar, quadros revestidos com passe-partout de renda emolduram algumas peças, como se fossem obras de arte.

As an architectural solution, the gypsum ceiling had to be lowered to cover the concrete beam between the rooms, where there are still some strokes of light contrasting with the classical crystal chandeliers. On the walls, floral wallpaper in slight relief reemphasize the feminine character of the place. To complement, some pictures with a laced passepartout highlight a few items as works of art.

Em nossa primeira visita às instalações, procuramos entender quais seriam as necessidades do ambiente que iríamos desenvolver: uma sala destinada às mães de crianças em tratamento.

We were moved and flattered when invited to execute this solidarity project, in view of the importance of the entity. On our first visit to the facilities, we tried to understand the requirements of the environment we would develop: a room for mothers of children undergoing treatment.

A partir daí, pensamos em um local acolhedor com espaço para leitura, TV e uso de computadores enquanto elas aguardam os filhos em tratamento. Tudo em tons neutros e suaves, a fim de transmitir serenidade. No momento, o projeto aguarda a captação de recursos e patrocínios até que seja implantado.

Then we thought of a welcoming place with a reading area, TV and computers for them to use while they await their children under treatment. All the areas in neutral and soft tones to convey peacefulness. At the moment, the project is awaiting funding and sponsorships to be implemented.

Criamos um espaço destinado à convivência e a práticas esportivas para o Programa Educacional de Resistência às Drogas e à Violência (PROERD), na cidade de Campinas. Dadas as dimensões e desenho do partido, a finalidade é que durante essa fase de tratamento e recuperação, crianças, adolescentes e jovens desfrutem de um ambiente seguro, convidativo e harmônico.

We created an area intended for coexistence and sporting activities for PROERD Educational Program of Resistance to Drugs and Violence1, in the city of Campinas.

In view of the dimension and layout of the organization, the project has the purpose of providing children, adolescents and young people, during their treatment and rehabilitation stage, with a safe, attractive and harmonious environment.

O projeto contempla a recuperação da quadra de esportes e arquibancadas do prédio existente, além da criação de uma cobertura metálica e instalação de brises soleis sobre a fachada, a fim de melhorar o conforto térmico nas salas de aula.

The project contemplates the recovery of the sports court and the stands of the existing building, in addition to creating a metallic cover and installing brises soleils over the facade to improve thermal comfort in the classrooms.

S I NCTRO N I C S Com a missão de criar o primeiro empreendimento automatizado de reciclagem de produtos eletrônicos do Brasil, desenvolvemos um projeto de 3 mil m2 para o parque fabril, laboratórios e escritórios da empresa. Formas sinuosas, cores vibrantes, transparências e muita tecnologia permeiam os interiores da futura edificação.

A finalidade é promover perspectivas inusitadas tanto para os funcionários, quanto para os visitantes. O mesmo conceito se estende ao projeto luminotécnico, pensado com o uso LEDs, tecnologia de ponta que trará economia de energia ao conjunto.

Having been assigned to create the first automated electronic product recycling plant in Brazil, we developed a project comprising 3 thousand m2 for the manufacturing complex, laboratories and offices of the company. Sinuous shapes, vibrant colors, transparencies and a lot of technology pervades the inside of the future building.

The idea is to promote unusual perspectives for both employees and visitors. The same concept is adopted in the lighting project, planned to use LED units, stateof-the-art technology that will allow energy savings to the plant.

Com uma localização privilegiada nos principais eixos de Campinas, margeando a Rodovia D. Pedro, Shoppings Centers e Condomínios de alto padrão, criamos este projeto multifamiliar em uma área de 24 mil m2. O empreendimento deverá oferecer duas tipologias de residência: semigeminada de 256m2, com garagem, três suítes, sala de estar com pé direito duplo e corredores isolados nas laterais. A outra opção são as torres de três andares, que concentram unidades de apartamentos de 126m2. Voltados a um público AA, os imóveis se destacam pela arquitetura contemporânea de desenho limpo e pela combinação de materiais de revestimento como tijolos aparentes, madeira e vidro.

Located in a privileged place within the main transit routes, bordering D. Pedro Highway, upscale Shopping Malls and Condominiums, we created this multifamily project in an area of 24 thousand square meters. The enterprise will offer two types of dwellings: 256m2 semi-detached houses, with a garage, three suites, living room with double height ceiling and isolated corridors on the sides. Another option are the three-story towers which concentrate 126m2 apartment units. Targeted at upper class people, the properties stand out for their clean contemporary style architecture and for a combination of cover materials as exposed brick, wood and glass works.

Um edifício escultural e ícone, localizado na principal avenida de Campinas, a Norte-Sul. Foi com esta premissa que iniciamos o projeto deste novo empreendimento.

A torre de vidro definida por geometria plana e estilo contemporâneo terá lajes desiguais, a fim de criar um efeito cinturado à construção, composta por conjuntos comerciais de 2.850 m2 de área útil. Uma perspectiva inovadora ou talvez um novo marco à cidade.

A sculptural and iconic building, located on the main traffic artery of Campinas, the Norte-Sul Avenue. Based on this assumption, we started the project for this new enterprise. The glass tower that is defined by plane geometry and a contemporary style will have uneven slabs to lend a waistline effect to the construction that will house office suites of 2,850m2 of floor area. An innovative perspective or maybe a new landmark for the city.

Frente aos eventos esportivos que se aproximam, como a Copa do Mundo de 2014, realizamos este estudo para criar um Centro de Treinamento de Seleções (CTS) na cidade de Campinas, com as dimensões oficiais, conforme padrão FIFA. Inspirado em obras visitadas na Alemanha e Itália, o projeto que soma 37 mil m2 terá capacidade para 7 mil pessoas. O projeto é composto por arquibancadas, camarotes climatizados, salas de imprensa, sala de troféus, vestiários, lanchonetes, além de dispor de toda a infraestrutura para receber delegações internacionais. Ladeado de áreas de preservação permanente, o gramado principal terá a arquibancada em forma de “U”, uma maneira de manter a Mata Atlântica como pano de fundo. Ventilação cruzada, captação de águas pluviais e painéis fotovoltaicos complementam o futuro empreendimento esportivo.

In view of the coming sporting events, as the 2014 World Cup, we have conducted this study to create a Training Center for National Teams (CTS) in the city of Campinas, in official dimensions and according to FIFA standards. Inspired in sites we visited in Germany and Italy, the project that comprises 37 thousand square meters will have a total capacity for 7 thousand people. The design consists of bleachers, in acclimatized boxes, press rooms, trophy room, locker rooms, snack bars, besides having a complete infrastructure to receive international delegations. Surrounded by permanent preservation areas, the main game field grass will have a U-shaped stand to have the Atlantic Forest in the background. Crossed ventilation, rainwater catchment and photovoltaic panels complement the future sporting enterprise.

m oi n h o d e v e nto Este projeto foi desenvolvido para um casal com três filhos, quando ainda moravam no Japão. Jogador de futebol bem sucedido, o proprietário buscava um projeto dos sonhos em sua volta ao Brasil. Quando conhecemos o terreno com dimensões generosas e vista para área de preservação ambiental, não tivemos dúvida de que seria o cenário ideal para a construção de 570m2. Aqui também seguimos os princípios da boa arquitetura: pés direitos duplos, ventilação cruzada, grandes vãos para a entrada de luz natural, além do aproveitamento de águas pluviais. Para garantir privacidade, a área de lazer será implantada em área distante da residência.

This project was developed for a couple with three children, when they still lived in Japan. A well-succeeded soccer player, the owner sought a dream project on his return to Brazil. When we saw that lot of generous dimensions and a view to the environmental preservation area, we had no doubt that it would be the ideal scenery for a 570m2 construction work. Here we also followed good architecture practices: double ceiling height, crossed ventilation, large spans for natural lighting, in addition to rainwater catchment. To ensure privacy, the leisure area will be built in a distant area from the house.

A proposta foi desenvolvida para um jovem casal, cheios de planos para aumentar a família. Em um terreno de 1.000 m² desenvolvemos um projeto térreo, com ambientes sociais voltados ao jardim. Um dos diferenciais é a empena do telhado, que garantiu a existência de um pé direito duplo no living, onde grandes aberturas possibilitam e entrada abundante de luz natural no interior da casa.

The proposal was developed for a young couple with lots of plans to increase their family. In an area of 1,000m2, we developed a ground project with its social area facing the garden. The gable roof made it possible to have a living with double height ceiling, where large openings allow abundant natural lighting to enter the house.

Com a proposta de se criar um espaço multiuso para eventos, convenções e shows, até então inexistente na cidade, uma incorporadora nos solicitou um estudo de viabilidade. Com aproximadamente 4.700 m2, o complexo terá formas anguladas, fachadas negativas, espelhos d’ água, pele de vidro e placas de concreto; recursos que simbolizem uma pedra bruta em processo de lapidação. Um amplo estacionamento, além de entrada exclusiva para serviços e caminhões, bem como saídas de resíduos e estação de tratamento de esgoto completam o projeto.

With the intention of creating a multi-purpose area for events, conventions and shows, which up tothat moment did not exist in the city, a real estate developer and builder requested a feasibility study. With approximately 4,700m2, the complex will have angular shapes, negative facades, shallow pools, glass skin and concrete plates; resources that should symbolize a rough stone in the process of being cut. Ample parking space, in addition to an exclusive point of entry for service and trucks, as well as a waste material outlet and a sewage treatment system complete the project.

Este mega projeto de 250 mil m2, no Estado da Bahia, está em fase de desenvolvimento para a Foton, empresa do ramo automobilístico. Implantado às margens de um rio, o novo parque fabril deve incorporar práticas construtivas sustentáveis, como energia eólica, captação de água de chuva, entre outros recursos. Dada as suas dimensões, a previsão é que o complexo industrial seja executado ao longo dos próximos dez anos.

This megaproject of 250 thousand square meters, in the State of Bahia, is being developed for Foton, a company in the automobile sector. Located on the banks of a river, the new manufacturing complex will adopt sustainable construction practices, as wind energy, rainwater catchment, among other resources. In view of its dimensions it is scheduled for execution in the course of the next ten years.

Nada de corredores nem espaços confinados. A ideia é substituir a velha atmosfera artificial, comum em edificações na área da saúde, por ambientes mais humanizados e quem promovam qualidade no atendimento dos pacientes.

Esta foi a tônica deste projeto hospitalar idealizado para a cidade de Campinas. A volumetria e as fachadas dos três edifícios serão trabalhadas de forma a privilegiar a luz e a ventilação naturais de maneira intensa, complementadas pela presença de jardins sobre tetos e varandas.

No corridors or confined spaces whatsoever. The idea is to substitute the old artificial environment that is common in health care buildings for more environmentally friendly areas that foster high quality standards in patient care. That was the keynote of this hospital project devised for the city of Campinas. The volumetry and facades of the three buildings will be targeted at prioritizing natural lighting and ventilation intensely, complemented by rooftop gardens and verandas.

Outro exemplo de retrofit aliado à sustentabilidade é este Shopping SPK, em Campinas. O local de implantação foi anteriormente ocupado por um galpão, construído na década de 1970. Com área bruta locável de 28 mil m2, a parte central terá um grande rasgo para a entrada de luz e ventilação naturais, condição para as novas construções com essa tipologia. Com planta predominantemente horizontal, o novo shopping acomodará 810 vagas de garagem, além de já ter área reservada às lojas âncoras.

The Shopping SPK, in Campinas, is another example of sustainable retrofit. The area was formerly occupied by a shed built in the seventies. Having a gross area of 28 thousand square meters of rentable space, its central part will have a large opening for natural lighting and ventilation, a condition for new buildings with the same typology. Having a predominantly horizontal plan, the new shopping mall can accommodate 810 parking places, in addition to having places reserved for anchor stores.
