Thanksgiving Prayer Thank you, God, for all the gifts you have given us: The gifts of life and love, family and friends, who help us to know your love through their kindness and compassion; the gift of creation, which we experience every day in the beauty of the world around us, in the peaceful quiet of a snowy winter day, the warmth of the sunshine and the rhythm of the ocean; the rustle of wind through the changing leaves of autumn, the flowers that color our world every spring. We thank you for the gift of faith, which accompanies us in our deepest sorrows and greatest joys; for the food on the table before us now, and the loving hands that have placed it there. For all this, and so much more, Lord, we offer you our gratitude, and we pray that during this season of thanksgiving and joy, We may all find peace, love, and comfort.
