Holistic Health Services makes every effort to select high quality, trained and experienced staff that hold the right values to care for you and your loved ones.

GS Social Care are a one stop social care shop to meet your needs. We provide a holistic service, but have specialist staff completing different training around specific needs, client groups etc. We provide services to people of all ages from 0 upwards. These services may be in people’s own homes, out in the community or to accompany on other activities. Recently, we have opened a 2 bedded respite unit for ages 0-25 years. The Meadows @ GS is mainly for guests with learning and/ or physical disabilities, specialising in Autistic Spectrum Conditions. This could be guests who have little or significant sensory needs and/ or behavioural problems. Bedroom 1: Houses a profiling bed for those with physical impairments. Any equipment necessary will be provided for the guest, hoist, sliding sheets etc. Bedroom 2: Equipped with a safespace bed, suitable for all ages within our remit. A calming and non stimulating environment for those with more sensory needs. Both rooms have a wardrobe, TV and sink. We encourage guests to bring along any items to make their stay as homely and relaxing as possible. It is a pre-bookable provision and is aimed at guests having a short break. This is for both the parents/ carers and the guest themselves

to enjoy time in a stimulating, educational and fun setting and for families to have peace of mind that their relative is safe and happy. A great emphasis is placed on guests enjoying the opportunities in the community and we also have a large sensory room and disabled bathroom facilities. We provide 1:1 support as a minimum throughout the day and night and staff are matched appropriately for the guests arriving at the respite unit. A gradual introduction can be an option, if guests would like to enjoy a few hours with us, prior to a full overnight stay which can often be a little daunting for the first time. All of our guests will complete a person centred care plan. This will include very intricate details on communication needs and will be a tailor made package of support to suit that specific individual. Each guest will complete a ‘This Is Me’ ongoing diary as part of their stay which is optional but can be a great way to document new things learnt and achieving personal goals and dreams. Compatibility is very important and a specific rota ensuring guests will be appropriately placed together is important. Exclusivity is offered for those who require it- possibly those with more significant behavioural issues. The costings are on an hourly rate throughout the day of between £13.50 and £16.50 dependant on the level of individual need, plus a standard nightly fee from 10pm-8am. Our staff have a great understanding of a variety of conditions and have a wealth of experience within the care sector.
