Services
Jasper County Community Services JCCS is a non profit corporation that has been serving the community through federal, state and county funded programs and services since 1975. JCCS’s outreach to the residents of Jasper County is provided through three centers, which are located in Rensselaer, DeMotte, and Remington Indiana. The people of Jasper County look to JCCS to meet their need for congregate meals, public transportation, energy assistance, and education, weatherization, section 8 housing intake, homemaker inhome services, preventative health and nutrition programs, community workshops, social events, and activities. The agency is under the leadership of a 15 member Board of Directors and Executive Director Sharon Colee. JCCS serves three locations, MondayFriday 8 a.m. -4 p.m.

Drivers will not go into a passengers home. Indiana law states that children birth to 8 years of age must ride in an infant or booster seat. The seat must be secured and provided by the parent/guardian. Drivers can not assist.
Inform the scheduler if you use any type of mobility aid, oxygen, service animal or if you have vision or hearing difficulties. The vehicle lifts can accommodate Sharon Colee chairs up to EXECUTIVE 30” wide and DIRECTOR has a load limit of 600 lbs. All seats must be secured to the floor of the bus. Driver and all passengers must wear a seat belt while the vehicle is in motion. You can reserve your ride for a pick up and drop off location in Rensselaer by calling 219-866-8071.
