BREATHING LINES: The exhibition that explores nature in a different light

Mangrané’s exhibition was a combination of earthly sounds and moving artworks that evoke an instinctive feeling. The synchronization of artwork and sound gives the feeling of being a part of nature. His distinctive pick of

subjects in this exhibition gives his audience the ability to see how nature can be challenged and explored in different ways.

The exhibition featured lights in all areas that flickered in sync with the sounds. The artist also plays a little with light perspectives in his display. The audience's ability to stand at different parts of the exhibition and experience nature triggers the importance of spaces that configure and reignite our relationship with nature.

The light staging of the exhibitions with every movement drew my attention to the exhibition in a new direction. At the end of the exhibition, I found myself saying “I had never felt such a connection to nature”. The exhibition lived up to its promise of making the museum

space a place where the relationship between nature, sound, and people can be reconfigured.

I believe his artworks relate not only to ecological connection, but also how exploring nature's multiple perspectives can help us understand and respect nature for what we want from it, and not for what we want from her.

This is a crucial point in our fight for a safer and cleaner earth in the future. This exhibition was a fascinating experience that raised questions about environmental change and how we are working towards making peace with it.
