Happy Belly Food Truck (facebook.com/HappyBellyTruck) co-founder Terry Hall, pictured at le with his wife Dawn, died Feb. 11 a er a ve-month battle with lung cancer. Muss & Turner owner Ryan Turner described Hall as “gi ed, determined” and having an “insane work ethic.” e Happy Belly Truck will continue to roll through local neighborhoods with the help of Hall’s sister and husband, who have moved here from Louisiana. e Atlanta Food Truck Park & Market announced today that it will hold its 2nd Annual Taste and Brews beer tasting and food festival on March 8. is unique event includes food samples from a choice of 10 Atlanta food trucks paired with unlimited tastings from more than one hundred domestic, imported and cra beers. e event will be from 2 to 6 p.m. (VIP entry at 1 p.m.) at the park, 1850 Howell Mill Road. SOHO Atlanta (sohoatlanta.com) restaurant in Vinings has appointed Scott Warren as executive chef. He has served as the sous chef at SOHO for three years and will take over the executive chef duties for departing Executive Chef Joe Ahn.

Annual BaconFest will raise money for Dad’s Garage

Defying bulldozers, hardhats and cement trucks, the wildly popular BaconFest will rise from the dirt mountain of its former home and descend upon the Masquerade Music Park on March 29 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Sponsored by MailChimp, BaconFest will again bene ting Dad’s Garage eatre Company, who recently found itself without a permanent home of its own and is currently producing shows at neighboring 7 Stages eatre in Little Five Points, until they nd their forever home.
