Junior League of Atlanta’s 17th annual tour is March 29-30
e stylish kitchens on the Junior League of Atlanta’s 17th annual Tour of Kitchens are sure to make your mouth water.
e event will be held Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 30, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. e selfguided Tour of Kitchens provides attendees exclusive access to homes in Buckhead, Brookhaven, Ansley Park, Midtown, Sandy Springs and Dunwoody, as well as the opportunity to sample food from the city’s best-known chefs.
e Tour of Kitchens will showcase many “ rsts” this year. As part of a larger JLA e ort to reduce childhood obesity, the tour will include its rst o cial child-friendly chef –Chef Ed Harris, Season 4 winner of e Food Network’s Chopped. e tour will also feature its rst kosher kitchen designed by LEFKO Renovations.
Kitchen designers and architects featured this year include Bell Kitchen & Bath Studios, Kitchen Design Korner, Design Galleria, Morgan Creek Cabinet Company, Tish Mills Interiors, LEFKO Renovations, Renewal Design Build, Rose Hall Kitchen Galleria, HammerSmith, Clausen Services, Home ReBuilders, Home Forge Remodeling, InsiDesign and Kingdom Woodworks.
Days before the event on ursday, March 20, hundreds of patrons are expected to attend the annual Toast of the Tour at the PDI Kitchen, Bath & Lighting Showroom in Midtown West. e event will include culinary demonstrations, cocktails and a silent auction featuring items such as VIP Suites at the Mandarin Oriental, Loews and Four Seasons, spa gi certi cates, designer accessories, sports memorabilia from Atlanta’s home teams and in-home culinary experiences with Atlanta’s premier chefs.
“ is year’s Tour of Kitchens is poised to be the most impressive to date, with an extraordinary list of local kitchens, designers and entertaining events,” said JLA President Michelle Wells.
e tour is JLA’s largest fundraising event, and has raised more than $1 million since its inception in 1997. e organization promotes voluntarism, leadership, development and community improvement for young women.
Advance purchase tickets to the event are $35 per person and include both days of the tour. A limited number of tickets will be available the day of the tour for $40. Tickets to the Toast of the Tour party are $75. Tickets are available now at touro itchens.org.
