A triumphant return of the sandwich joint - famed for its Jack and Coke slushies - is opening any second in its new home on Bernina Avenue in the former Park’s Edge space. Big patio, ahoy!

The big patio along N. Highland Avenue is the hip place to see and be seen on the weekends, along with its menu of shareable Spanish plates and wine list.

Grab a cup of joe and surf the web to your heart’s content at this popular coffee house on N. Highland.

10. Julianna’s Crepes

Homemade Hungarian-style crepes made with local fruit in a vintage 1901 house on Lake Avenue.
