Design expo, architecture tour coming May 30 - June 7

Modern Atlanta (MA) will host the 9th annual Design is Human Week and Architecture Tour from May 30 to June 7 celebrating international design excellence from the U.S. and around the world.

The MA Architecture Tour will be a main highlight of the week with more than a dozen homes and spaces on view, along with satellite tours in Athens and Asheville and Raleigh-Durham, NC. The Atlanta tour is June 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., while the satellite events are is May 30-31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at modern-atlanta.org.

Design Is Human week will feature guest talks, panel discussions, workshops, films and other design-related events. More than 50 international brands will have new, innovative products at the MA Design Expo.

Industries represented at the expo include architecture, interiors, furnishings, ecodesign, lighting, mobility, contract, workplace, bath, kitchen and lifestyle.
