e Cheesecake Factory, Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar and True Food Kitchen have opened at Lenox Square in Buckhead. All three restaurants are located at Lenox’s revamped main entrance that includes a two-story glass storefront and a redesigned porte-cochere. New to Atlanta are Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, which o ers gourmet burgers, salads, shakes and wine, and True Food Kitchen, which has a menu based on Dr. Andrew Weil’s antiin ammatory diet. Menu options will include kale, quinoa, seabuckthorn and acai.

MARBAR (marcoastal.com) has reopened at 314 East Howard Ave. in Decatur o ering up Mexican-inspired dishes like coastal tacos, soups, salads and homemade tortillas. e eatery also o ers an extensive tequila list and coastal specialty drinks such as margaritas, mojitos and micheladas, as well as diverse wine and beer lists.

Restaurateur Okan Ozyurteri has opened his latest concept, Kabob Land, at 3137 Piedmont Road in Buckhead. e menu includes Middle Eastern dishes with Turkish, Lebanese and Greek in uence. Kabob Land’s menu features traditional “Mezzes,” salads, kabob platters, pita wraps and atbreads.

Chef Gerry Klaskala has announced he will open Atlas (atlasrestaurant.com), a new dinner-only restaurant inside e St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead. Featuring American cuisine with the freshest local ingredients, Atlas will open in late fall 2014.

Meehan’s Public House (meehanspublichouse.com) will open a h location in Buckhead on Aug. 1 on 322 East Paces Ferry Road.

Boutique bowling alley and restaurant e Painted Pin (thepaintedpin.com) is now open at 737 Miami Circle. Along with the bowling, there’s also bocce courts, dartboards, ski-ball and basketball games. ere’s an extensive cocktail, wine and beer selection, while the menu will include pizzas, sandwiches, sliders, ribs and tacos.

e El Azteca on Ponce de Leon Avenue in Poncey-Highlands has been re-branded El Ponce. While no longer associated with the El Azteca chain, the menu and food is the same, along with the sta .

Ideas to spruce up your home inside & out from Sweet Peach

We asked Pamela Berger, who operates the fantastic Atlanta-based Sweet Peach blog (sweetpeachblog.com), to select some of her favorite go-to and online shops to help refresh your interior and garden. Here’s what she came up with.

Atlanta-based artist Jamie Jimenez has a playful, bright style that quickly grabs your attention. Her online shop, Yours Is The Earth (yours-is-theearth.com), includes illustrated and calligraphed prints, stationery and home goods that celebrate our favorite time of day – mealtime.

Every time I drive or walk by Laura Iarocci’s fantastic shop, Faith Flowers (faithflowersatlanta.com), I feel inspired. She always has the most thoughtful and creative floral creations – like her salvaged log centerpieces filled with fresh and vibrant flowers.

Clarke Titus of Rough South Home (roughsouthhome.com) summed up his relatively new career as a furniture designer and builder. For years, he’s gone to salvage yards and forest-free lumberyards and has created some truly incredible pieces of furniture. He’s dabbled as a golf pro, a cook and a writer but always came back to his workshop to take something unexpected and turn it into something cool.

Mark McDevitt and Robert Lee have been friends since college. After graduating, they did their own thing, designing for screen printing companies and t-shirt shops, as well as creating engaging illustrations for various local and national brands. After doing a bit of their own work on the side, they realized the potential of teaming up together. In 1998, Methane Studios (methanstudios.com) was born. Much of their early work still sustains them – silkscreen prints for music gigs. They’ve created incredible artwork for hundreds of artists, including Dave Matthews Band.

Virginia-Highland’s designer Kari Fisher (karifisherdesigns.com) crafts block prints for pillows and custom pieces. A lover of art history, Kari taught herself how to block print and when I asked what she loved about it, she shared that it’s “causal, flexible and imperfect.” As each imprint is done by hand, there will always be variations in coloring, texture and alignment.

Young Blood Boutique (youngbloodboutique.com) has been an institution in Poncey-Highland for over 15 years. Rebecca Hanna and Jessie White have some great finds here, including these great ice cream bowls, cutting boards and all sorts of other goods and art for your home.
