Enter a brave new world

We’ve had a lot of changes in the past year or so; becoming Publicis’ Nordic comet agency in the merger with Publicis DK and Leo Burnett; augmenting our crew and client base, and redeveloping our offices in the centre of Copenhagen. You can read more about these changes in this issue. From a Groupe point of view though, the latest development was the recent public announcement from Publicis Groupe CEO Maurice Levy and Google CEO Eric Schmidt confirming their official collaboration. What this means in real terms, is the development of a variety of initiatives that will be mutually beneficial in expanding the horizons of branding and effective online advertising. Sharing knowledge, agency experience and resources between these two media giants will lead to the development of innovative, top-notch services for our clients, redefining the media frame and developing the frontiers of a new kind of digital advertising arena. Here at Reputation, we are embracing these changes with gusto. We have always prided ourselves on continually evolving and adapting to market needs, without ever compromising our core competences.

Bridging the Future

We are very pleased to announce that at the end of last year, we won the account for Danish bridge-building organisation, Sund & Belt. Beating opponents Grey, Uncle, Halbye & Co and Lowe, we won the 2-year contract to promote Storebælt representing billings of 60 mil DKK. We are hoping to launch a new concept this year – with a very special twist. Keep watching this space.

Denmark’s Next Top ...Make-Up Artist Reputation is the creative mastermind behind a splashy campaign to find the 2008 Danish Make-up Artist (MUA) for cosmetics giant, Max Factor. As Max Factor ambassador, the winning MUA wins a lucrative renewable contract to develop new looks for the company which is one of Denmark’s leading cosmetics brand, as well as be the figurehead for their famous Make-Up Academy. In the showdown event booked for 15th May, a panel of Danish experts in fashion, style and marketing as well as the current MUA, celebrity Dennis Knudsen will judge the eight finalists as they show off their skills and creativity. With an audience of 150 leading fashion and beauty magazines and PR professionals, the evening promises to be a great hype generator for the brand.

Our twist on the event? As Max Factor is the make up of make-up artists, we decided to do things in their natural habitat – backstage. Without revealing too much, we have lined up several raw and interesting locations in the city to stage our unusual slant on the event. For our part, the campaign includes the event conceptualisation, call-to-action tv and print tag-ons, development of the competition/ event website and in-store materials. Doubled in size – tripled in strength

Over the past year at Reputation, we have grown from strength to strength becoming Publicis Groupe creative comet agency in a merger with Publicis DK and Leo Burnett. This meant the welcome addition of many new faces to our fold, which we further augmented with the five new colleagues that joined us this year.

In growing our team, we outgrew our premises but rather than move, we launched a 300m takeover of PalĂŚgade in central Copenhagen and now our offices take up half the street. We also redeveloped our basements and boast a shiny new canteen now, so we can eat, drink and be merry on the job.


You Snooze, You Lose? We’re sleeping on it Natural sleep is the key to good health. But conventional sleep aids can leave you feeling groggy and hung-over. We are proud to announce our involvement in launching Circadin, which will reset your body clock and provide natural, restful sleep without the hangover. Circadin is the first in a new class of sleep aid that works through the prolonged release of melatonin, a naturallyoccurring hormone that has a pivotal role in the regulation of circadian rhythms and sleep. Together with Lundbeck, we will be working on the European-wide launch of this safe and effective product. We can’t tell you what the campaign will involve but you can “rest assured” that it will be a refreshing change.

Industriens Pension Here at REPUTATION, we believe that when its time to stop working, you should do so in style. That’s why we want to help people enjoy their retirement. Large pension fund, Industriens Pension is owned by 3F, Dansk Metal and Dansk Industri, has over 337.000 single members and has chosen REPUTATION as their partner in the launch of a new product, Ekstra Pension. This solution is a way for employees to utilise a new collective agreement to secure a larger pension for themselves. Other strong competitors in the pitch were agencies Bergsøe4 and Advice.
