This venture was an expedition that mirrored the intricacies and personalization I bring to my profession as a real estate agent.

Booking through Kuoda Travel, renowned for its customized travel itineraries, my sister and I embarked on a journey that promised luxury, adventure, and a deep dive into Peru’s rich cultural tapestry. Kuoda promised us a comprehensive experience including all accommodations, 4 domestic flights, daily tours, meals, personalized guides and even a personal driver.

Machu Picchu + Montana Waynapicchu Hike

Our journey through Peru was a vivid tapestry of experiences that immersed us in the heart of its rich cultural and natural beauty. The hike to Machu Picchu along the Inca Trail was a step back in time, where every turn revealed breathtaking vistas and ancient mysteries, culminating in the awe-inspiring sight of the lost city itself. The challenging ascent of Montana Waynapicchu rewarded us with unparalleled views of the surrounding Andean landscape, offering a unique perspective of Machu Picchu that few get to see.

Seven-Colored Mountain

The Seven-Colored Mountain, with its stunning striations of mineralrich soil, painted a landscape so surreal it seemed conjured from a dream, showcasing nature’s unparalleled artistry. Our visit to Lake Titicaca’s floating indigenous communities opened our eyes to a way of life built upon the reeds of the lake, where we were greeted with warmth and had the chance to learn basic expressions in Aymara and Quechua, bridging language barriers with smiles and genuine exchanges.

Ancient Salt Pans

Exploring the ancient salt pans was like walking on a mosaic of history, where the traditional methods of salt extraction have been passed down through generations, reflecting a harmony with nature that has sustained local communities for centuries. Finally, the culinary tour within Lima city was an odyssey of flavors, where each dish served as a gateway to understanding Peru’s rich culinary heritage, blending indigenous ingredients with contemporary creativity to create a feast for the senses.

In closing, my journey through Peru with Kuoda was more than just a break from the world of real estate; it was a reaffirmation of the values that define my profession—personalization, attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for history and culture. When reviewing sales, the figures below indicate that condo sales over $1M were sluggish in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023.
