MA Digital Journalism - Goldsmiths Upon completion of his MA, Matt intends to stay in the New Cross-Deptford area and work towards screening films outdoors by students from the university as well as some of the well-know filmmakers in the local area. During this period, he will hold conferences with some reputable filmmakers in international art circles, and holding some workshops in filming and editing to contribute to costs. Requirements: • Working mainly in synapse space, arranging programme, licensing, visitors. Occasional meetings in synapse with individuals. • Occasional meetings with groups in meeting rooms. • Crowd-funding resources; £10 = reserve a seat | £50 = reserve a seat at all events • Marketing resources. • Occasional workshops using PC editing techniques. • Occasional on-site workshops. • Collections of chairs, covering, projector. • Regular transportation during programme. Matt’s programme is due to operate Friday October 20th 2017 to Sunday March 11th 2018, operating specifically on evenings from Friday to Sunday (as the sun will be down making conditions more acceptable for outdoor screenings.

MMus Popular Music Performance Having worked in music performance for some time, Ka wants to put on a summer music festival for new and popular bands in and around London, including her own band ‘Cocktails in a Pint Glass’. She will use technical audio consultants on her project, and will need to regularly perform auditions and rehearsals. Requirements: • Working mostly outside of the synapse space. • Regular visits from bands will require constantly available meeting space. • Crowd-funding resources; £15 = reserve a ticket | £40 weekend pass | £70 both weekends. • Marketing resources. • Access to specialist equipment, secure storage. • Large stage building space. • Professional schecks for engineering. • One-time export to Fordham Park. Ka’s concert will take place over two summer weekends, August 17th-19th and August 24th-26th, starting from around 2pm until evening, finishing around 9pm, except on Fridays where the concerts will run from approximately 6pm.

Jonna and her associates have been using project spaces set up by [respire] intermittently over the first three years of the project, and before that have been working in rented studios around the New Cross-Deptford area. They wish to use the SuPerception facilities to test the viability of building more permanent (>10 years) project spaces for 20 artists using spaces next to Deptford rail station. Requirements: • Regular committee meetings will take place between the group and professionals in the design and building process. • Design reviews will take place on the SuPerception site. • Crowd-funding resources; £20 = print from random artist | £50 = choose an artist share | £200 = reserve a project space. • Marketing resources. • Occasional workshops for contributing artists. • Building-testing space. • On-site advertising. • Prefabrications for export to site. For building and testing over a 1-year period, this project will also allow construction students from different backgrounds to take part in a hands-on construction project. Public response and input will be invaluable.
