INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the 2023 SDEA Design and Display Directory where we have created an exciting and eclectic collection of divine retail interiors for your pleasure. This year’s latest and greatest stores show true innovation; each and every one has its own unique and inspirational retail design concept.

Starting at Battersea Power Station where a string of luxury global brands line the magnificent malls. We look at Theory, a US fashion retailer new to the UK launching a stunning outlet. Swiss Army Knife brand, Victorinox returns to London with a sensational store, whilst Keune debuts a theatrically-led environment in another of London’s historic buildings. Mr Jones Watches lands its first visually stimulating shop on an unsuspecting Neal Street in London; crisp and clean it’s totally unique just like the product, and Oh So Yum hits new heights with its sweet treats in Bradford, a really bold concept.

Also in London, Hydrafacial turns its online business into bricks and mortar with a powerful, experience-led design that influencers are going to love. Zuercher Kantonalbank in Switzerland shows us how contemporary banking could look with its sophisticated and relaxed interior. Finally, Australian furniture maker, King launches its first UK flagship right at the heart of London’s premium homeware retail district with a fabulous store.
