Bringing together the whole industry, the Creative Retail Awards is a different type of awards ceremony that blends networking with an informal party atmosphere celebrating the diversity in our industry. The awards recognise talent across the full spectrum of retail design and display in a broad range of categories; encompassing store concepts, visual merchandising, POP, lighting, signage and much more.

As physical retail evolves, design and experience have become more powerful tools than ever. The Creative Retail Awards have recognised the retail industry’s best companies and talent since 2018. With categories including sustainable solutions, omnichannel innovations, VM schemes, POP/POS, shopfitting and Store Design, the Awards recognise talent across the full spectrum of retail design and display.
The Creative Retail Awards ceremony, held at Proud Embankment on September 22nd, celebrated the best of retail design and innovation with a unique and exciting twist on the traditional awards format. The event blended networking with a fun, informal party atmosphere that recognized the diversity of the industry.
The event was attended by leading suppliers, designers, and retailers from across the industry, with representatives from companies such as ASDA, Harrods, and Sports Direct. Winners included AT&T, Bonadea, Chanel, Coach, Nestlé, and Woolworths South Africa, all of whom walked away with Highly Commended or Winner’s trophies in their respective categories.
Sports Direct was awarded Store Design of the Year for its new Oxford Street store, while the Retail Experience Award went to Chanel and Harrods for their Door Nº 5 in celebration of 100 years of Chanel Nº5. The Judges’ Choice Award went to Comur Coimbra, a Portuguese tinned goods store from Grupo O Valor do Tempo.
The Creative Retail Awards provide an opportunity for industry peers to come together, celebrate the best of retail design, and recognize the hard work and innovation of those in the industry. The Awards demonstrate the ongoing commitment of retailers to push the boundaries of design and deliver engaging and exciting experiences for customers.
