Our mission: The International Baccalaureate® (IB) was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968 as a non-profit educational foundation. The IB is more than its three educational programmes. At our heart we are motivated by a mission to create a better world through education. “ The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right ”.
“ The IB can offer many possibilities for career development for me... ” Kirsten Loza Primary Years Programme, Curriculum Manager
“ ...my job has far exceeded my expectations... ” Chris Mannix Curriculum Area Head and IBCC Manager
