Design : Website Structure
Step 2
Development : Brand Web Development
Step 3
Development : Website App, SEO Optimization
Step 4
Design is easy. All you do is stare at the screen until drops of blood form on your forehead.
Step 1
Design : Logo Design & Branding The human mind is highly responsive to visual stimuli, and colour is one of the major defining factors in that response. On both a conscious and subconscious level, colours convey meaning - not only in the natural world but also within the artifice of our culture. Graphic designers need to harness the power of colour psychology to bring resonance to their designs - and in no field is this more important than that of logo design. The use of colour can bring multiple layers of meaning, from primitive responses based on millions of years of evolved instinct to the complex associations we make based on learned assumptions.
Step 2
Design : Website Structure Website structure understanding can be treated as a reverse engineering for the purpose of automatically discovering the layout templates and URL patterns of a website, and understanding how these templates and patterns are integrated to organize the website. The study of this problem has had a great impact to many applications which can leverage such site-level knowledge to help web search and data mining. Working closely with your clients, create a list of all existing content. Brainstorm content that needs to be created for the site.

Project Description Continued
Step 3
Development : Brand Web Development Web developers design web pages, sites or applications. They listen to user requests and specifications and provide attractive and capable web applications. Developers guarantee built in features for security, compatibility and integration online. They work for organisations, IT companies, agencies, and for themselves offering development or consultancy services. When building a website, developers assess the structure, appeal, purpose and security. They present the best recommendations and follow the decision of the client. As their reputation is important, a web developer works to create quality and functional web applications. They understand the necessity for quality customer service and rely on customers recommendations to prospective clients.
Web developers must have received training in any of the following technologies : • HTML, XML, XHTML • Java, JavaScript, ActionScript • SQL and MySQL databases • ASP, PHP, CSS, SSL security technologies
Step 4
Development : Website App, SEO Optimization There are some SEO rules that you should break. While conventional SEO wisdom advises certain types of behavior, there are times when that advice should be ignored. SEO must be viewed as part of a larger overall marketing picture, and sometimes other considerations must rule the day. Below are three situations where the standard SEO advice is not always the best course of action. Titles & Headlines You are used to being told that you need to load these with keywords. More progressive SEO firms may tell you not to overdo it; and, there are even cases where you might not think about “SEO”.
Designers can create normalcy out of chaos; they can clearly communicate ideas through the organising and manipulating of words and pictures

Project Timeline Continued Week 4 : Development of Page Content The beauty of WordPress is that as a CMS (Content Management System), you are able to easily create all of the interior content pages yourself, without knowledge of HTML. In most cases, clients will just need a custom WordPress theme that they take and continue to add all of the content pages themselves. If that is the case with your project, you can skip over this step entirely. However, if you prefer to hand off the entire web site to us, we will gladly add all of the interior pages for you (based on your provided content). The timeline for this phase varies greatly depending on the number of pages you are having us develop for you, and if you are prompt with providing us all of the content for the site. If you have a 1-10 page site, for example, we can have the interior pages completed within 1 week. On the other hand, a 50 page web site will likely take closer to 3-4 weeks to complete. Of course, if you are not prompt with providing all content for the pages, or if you frequently make revisions to previously approved content that youhad already provided us with, that will slow down this stage as well.

Finally, when I discovered David through a Google search, it appeared likely that such a passionate designer would be the partner we had been looking for — which became obvious as soon as we started working together. After reviewing our requirements, David sent us a few proposals and, taking great care, created numerous modifications. Most importantly, each modification introduced that special detail that makes all the difference. Needless to say we are extremely satisfied with the results. Thanks David.” -John Harrie
