Travel west to North Conway, New Hampshire and hike majestic mountains, go shopping at the outlets, or take the kids to Story Land. Visit L.L. Bean in Freeport for a day of shopping and fine restaurants. With either a 45-minute drive to the mountains or to the rocky coast, the choices are endless. Naples has been a destination for families far and wide for over 100 years. It's a place you want to visit year after year for the natural beauty of it’s pristine lakes. Located within the surrounding towns of Windham, Bridgton and Harrison you will find two movie theaters, a Drive-In and historic Deertrees Theater. Museums in each town will take visitors back in time to appreciate each town’s unique heritage and history. Long Lake is a great recreational lake that offers swimming, tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddle-boating, jet-skiing, and fishing. Not to mention approximately 35 miles of continuous boating. During winter months locals and visitors enjoy snowmobiling, ice fishing, skating and cross country skiing. At nearby Shawnee Peak ski resort in Bridgton, visitors can brave the cold for alpine skiing, day or night.
