Colonial Mast Campground is so named due to the history of the property and area. Located in Mast Cove on Long Lake. During Colonial times, the trees in this area were harvested for ships masts as they grew so tall and straight, hence our name. It is our great location on the lake, our sandy beach and the beauty of these tall trees that folks who are camping with us visit to enjoy. We strive to provide the best in family camping, with our well-maintained grounds, friendly customer service, and kids planned activities. With the addition of our indoor pool in 1997, we off er year round recreational camping. The pool is open to the public, and the pool and hot tub, along with our beautiful lodge are well enjoyed by the community, especially in the winter months, off ering open swim time, aquacise classes, birthday parties and swim lessons.

Located in the center of southern Maine’s Lake Region, Naples has a wealth of opportunities for recreation yearround. Visitors are drawn to the Naples Causeway on Long Lake and Brandy Pond where they fi nd our special att raction, the Songo River Queen II. For those looking for the camping experience, Naples abounds with options of every type. For those looking for the rustic experience, you’ll fi nd small clearings in wooded areas near lakes and streams. Quiet, solitude, and star lit skies will cap off the experience of camping in these remote areas. For some, the camping experience can be found in assorted commercial campgrounds that off er everything from basic tent sites to far more elaborate sites with water and electricity hook-ups for pull behind trailers or recreational vehicles.

Some campgrounds off er amenities such as swimming pools, areas for sports and games, convenience stores, fi rewood for sale and bathing facilities.

Four Season's Campground Bob and Judith Van Der Zee started camping with their family at Four Seasons Camping Area in 1971. Ten years later, they purchased the campground. The day to day operations are now run by two of their children, Andrew Van Der Zee and Beth Brown. Much of the campground looks the same as it did 40 years ago, except the trees have grown taller, and the sites are more spacious to accommodate larger trailers. Many families come back year aft er year and make wonderful memories along the shores of Long Lake.

Naples is one of the most picturesque towns in the Lakes and Mountains region of Western Maine.

As you drive into this popular familyfriendly gem, you’re greeted by the Naples Causeway and Boardwalk. This beautiful walkway overlooks Long Lake and Brandy Pond and views of Mount Washington in New Hampshire. Because Naples is considered the Heart of the Lakes Region, the winter activities are boundless. There is an Adventure Park 9 miles East of Naples that off ers tubing day and night. Sebago Lake State Park off ers crosscountry skiing, snowshoeing, and many trails to enjoy the peace and tranquility of winter. If snowmobiling is your thing stop at the town offi ce and buy a map of local trails sponsored by the Snowmobile Club wonderful trail rides to area restaurants. Naples Recreation continues the fun all winter long! Enjoy skating and ice hockey on the outdoor ice skating rink (weather permitt ing). In partnership with the Sebago Lakes Anglers and the Naples Recreation Committ ee, enjoy a free day of ice fi shing for families and veterans. Watch bald eagles fl y low to snag a fi sh that was discarded on the ice, a photographer's dream! A sledding party with hot cocoa, s’mores, and a contest for the most creative cardboard sled.
